I sent you a PM with a contact for a possible buyer as well.
Get back to me when you can please.

I would like to see you stay on no matter who buys it as you have guided BTCG with a steady hand and made it the best pool.

Smiley  Good news ... But were still loosing you ...  Sad

Eventually, yes.  Part of negotiations (regardless of who ends up buying the pool) will almost certainly revolve around how much time I remain involved with the pool.  Depending on the final terms, it is possible you continue to see me around for years to come in some capacity.

Chrome on Mac works the best, Firefox is good but can eat up ram at times.

99% of CPU AGAIN!!!

I just don't understand why it's only THIS website.  Just makes no sense to me at all.  I can surf the web all day long with no problems to many various websites.  If I stay on The Guild's website for several hours, it will eventually start using 99% of my CPU.

Hey Og,
Also take a pic of the USB dongle and how you have the wires connected to the Prisma and the dongle.
There may be something in that as well.
384  Economy / Securities / Re: [NastyFans.org] NASTY MINING | POOL | COINS on: October 30, 2014, 05:44:40 AM
Crap.
The new power setup for the board does it differently so it may be enough to keep them from booting if they are all connected.
Have you tried taking that board out of the chain to test?  You do not have to have all four plugged in.

Wait... They shipped it without a key capacitor? Can you post a pic?

I love mining vendors...

I'm not sure if this is enough to keep the unit from showing up to cgminer (my gut says "no"), but I am hoping for a bit of luck once it's replaced.

Very soon. :-)

When? I need 8-10 of them now. I am ready to buy.  Cool
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I just paid the $100K USD via BTC to become a Platinum Member of TBF. on: October 30, 2014, 12:04:56 AM
I have a writer working on this right now on CryptoCoinsNews.com.
Rick has been doing some excellent work on digging up info on what KnC has been doing.

To date, nary a Bitcoin-theme periodical has penned an exposé exposing that KnC did not indeed pay TBF $100K USD via BTC for their Platinum Membership.

Likewise, nary a Bitcoin-theme periodical has penned an exposé exposing HashTrade for not REALLY paying BFL that infamous million dollars via BitPay for a shitload of Monarchs in October, 2013. Is it because HashTrade and its sister companies, LiquidBits, NimbusMining, and Nitsolus, all under the auspices of Coinware, are all controlled by none other than the Jacobson brothers, Jean-Marc and Remy, who in turn control respectively the Canadian and Miami Bitcoin Embassies?

What gives, you news guys?

~Bruno Kucinskas

I suppose it is just a rhetorical question, but anyway: the Bitcoin sites are supported by Bitcoin enterprises, not by individual miners, traders, and  investors.  Running an exposé on one company could result in a dozen others like them to take their ads and press releases elsewhere.

You don't expect to see articles in traditional media that say bad things about products that are (or may be) advertised there.   When that happens, the author or magazine may be tacitly blackmailing the company, "you give us {a free sample|your ads} or we will continue to badmouth you".

EDIT: Many years ago, famous science fiction author used to run a hardware/software review column in the Datamation magazine, where he almost boasted of doing that.  In one issue he would write "I tried the new IBM FooBar PC, it was junk".  In the next issue, "The folks from IBM gave me a Foobar PC as a free sample, and I found that it is actually wonderful."

You really do have the best pool and security setup.  99.9999% of the time there is not even a hiccup on the miners side.
Great work we appreciate it.  Cheesy

There's an attack currently hitting the primary stratum server.  As in the past, existing mining connections should not be affected, but restarting a miner or starting up a new one may have difficulties connecting.  If you're currently mining and were planning on restarting a miner/changing a configuration, I would recommend waiting a few hours (or a day) to avoid being unable to reconnect.

EDIT:  The attacks have stopped for now.

Dam Og that sucks.
I hate soldering those back on.
Let me know if I can help I will.

Hi Og,
What is it doing or not doing?  Does it power up?
Also some of them do not have the board dip switches set properly.
At the end of my review I have a pic of the dip switch assignments at the bottom.
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/review-asicminer-tube-830-ghs-bitcoin-miner-sold-us-112bit-com/
I hope it helps.

I received our ASICminer Prisma.  Unfortunately, it appears to be DOA.  Very disappointing, but not surprising.  I'm exploring our options.

I'll take a look. A visual inspection shows 1 board missing a capacitor but I should be able to find a suitable replacement.

Glad to hear you are doing ok. :-)

Just a quick update...I am still out of town and have very little net access (let alone cell service) and should be home in another week or so (tops) but wanted to let everyone know I am doing okay and will be getting back to work on my projects asap. Thanks for your continued patience.

This looks like a great way to run them.
I look forward to reviewing the SP20. It was great to see it running at the Inside Bitcoins show in Las Vegas.

SP20 with SP10 PSU (Emerson DS1050) and an adapter board we developed.
The picture was taken at Inside Bitcoin TLV this week.

398  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] ASICMiner Prisma 1.4th/s - 1.47 BTC - Batch 6 on: October 23, 2014, 09:23:51 PM
Hi Phil,
I was wondering if you had a link to where you get the good 10 gauge PSU cables?  Where I get them is way over priced.
Thanks again and keep up the great work I like you posts on different miners.  Smiley

I am certainly going to buy a prisma.  I am trying to decide which group buy to go with, this one or Canary's.  What is the deciding factor for me is when I will receive it.

When, if I order today (10.23.2014), do you estimate I would receive it?  Would it still be within October?

Thanks!

ASICMINER has informed me that there will not be an inventory shortage after the 27th. Batch 6 order will be placed on Sunday or once we reach 10 units sold. I will also have units available for immediate purchase on ASICPuppy.net very soon.

I want to buy on asicPuppy.net  please let me know when.  I will need the sd card and run it on the rasp Pi you sold me a while back.

I will post a shit load of photos and tips.  including  a demo on how your psu's power  cord matters for power use.

hint a 10gauge psu power cord does amazing watts reduction.

The USB adapter did not show up.
When it does I will make sure to test and publish an update with how they work.

Are they being shipped with a usb interface? if not then I need to get one of the controllers Sad

We are about to update some on the website.
Keep an eye out there and I will make sure to post here as they start to go live.
We have some that are getting setup with wallets now.

I have been mining this off and on for 4 months. Do we have any charity web sites we can donate to?
