381  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of cryptocurrencies depend on the understanding of the community on: September 20, 2019, 09:50:39 AM
I personally believe that Big money and institutions are moving into the Crypto space, so I believe now the big whales and these mega-huge investment companies are the ones who will call the shots from now on. The community is there merely for feedback and usually for little projects that rely heavily on community input for their ongoing success. I think that many who have lost in this space will have moved on to more stable assets like gold or real estate, but there is a keen passion still in younger minds and some old alike, for the technology to evolve. Crypto is not for the faint-hearted and if the community is too fickle it will not benefit anyone in the long term that's for sure. There needs to be a solid community working for the common good, but all I see is fud infested telegram groups and a lot of people resorting to violent behavior if they lose money in a certain coin or project.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: September 20, 2019, 09:32:43 AM
It just looks more professional for a project to be recommended by a Legendary Member rather than a Newbie account, but nonetheless, that doesn't make it my criteria to invest in a project. It only means that a Legendary member perhaps has more experience in moderating a forum thread than a Newbie has, so it's like a Legendary member providing perhaps a service for the project. I will do my own due diligence of the project and then check to see if it ticks all my boxes, then will decide to invest. It won't matter if the project comes via a Noob account or a Legendary one, but that's just my personal opinion and in no way reflects on what you should be doing as everyone must make their own research and take seriously their investment decisions. Decisions in high-risk investments shouldn't be taken lightly and should be well thought out first.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't know Bitcoin is, I just know It is taking away the lives of family on: September 20, 2019, 08:26:55 AM
Gambling and any involvement even in Bitcoin ro Altcoins in general, I class as high risk and gambling, to be honest. Of course, your Brother decided to gamble away all your Family's savings in an Online Casino which wasn't the wisest thing to do to be quite frank. Bitcoin and Altcoins, in general, are volatile enough as it is without the added risk of gambling in a casino. Only thing I can suggest is that you all seem to be quite young so it is best to look for work wherever you can and then choose to invest wisely in Bitcoin as a long term hold or any other crypto-related projects, or even Gold for that matter, but never ever gamble in a casino because the house always wins. Even I am fifty-three years old and will health problems and I can't get government assistance lol and have to struggle daily to put food on the table, looking for various online jobs to do as there is no work for me in my village and I don't drive or have a car. You just need to try to find whatever work you can right now.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MN][$LOKI] Loki - Private Transactions & Comms on: September 19, 2019, 09:04:30 PM
what caused the pump?
without a reason?

TIKA TEEWARI pumped it, it's one of his recommendations, hence that caused a buying frenzy and the pump. He says it shows great promise and that it will be really good to invest in as more and more people want access to freedom and privacy etc etc. Anyway he is a big advocate of Crypto, making a ton of money himself and is recommending some more smaller-cap coin projects which will probably make a few more people rich over the coming years. I don't have a lot of money right now but I guess just buying a small bag and holding it for the longer term won't hurt, especially if supporting a good and solid project that is going to benefit a lot of people through its services.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: !!! Let 's become a multimillionaire IN 1 YEAR !!! on: September 18, 2019, 02:53:34 PM
I like the optimism but for someone like me who lost a lot in the last bear market and is almost wiped out, I am now looking at things in a really more down to earth fashion now and believe that the real winners are those who held altcoins, dumped them on the high, tethered in all the dumps, bought Bitcoin at the retracements, and keep rinsing and repeating the above. The rest of us who always got caught off guard are the losers and now you just have to be really a good trader to be winning or be lucky enough to have a decent investment in one or two really lucky LOW CAP coins or tokens and then if they MOON, you sell them on the high and get lucky. I don't know if I will ever get lucky again and be able to grow anything decent in Crypto again, but I will keep trying because of the possibility of hitting that one project that might turn into a Unicorn company at some point.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Function X - The Future is Blockchain Internet on: September 18, 2019, 02:39:53 PM
I downloaded the Wallet today and it was extremely easy to set up, despite the fact that I have never ever myself downloaded an app before on to my smartphone. So for even a non techie like me, it is easy to get onto the blockchain bandwagon and start digitizing our money, faster than we had ever hoped. I have some PUNDIX tokens and am wondering if I should sell them to buy some FX tokens instead? I am confused a little on the PUNDI X AND FX tokenomics right now, so need to catch up before I make a decision. I see that FX token went up quite high due to another Exchange listing, so might hold off until it retraces in price a bit as I hate to FOMO in buying any coin or token at this stage. I did that with PUNDI X the first time around and don't want to make the same mistake again, going in at a higher price than I should be paying. It is an A-class project and hope to get a small stake in it at least.
387  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading. Made 12 BTC profit last month on: September 18, 2019, 02:28:38 PM
I just started following you on Twitter and wanted to ask you how long did it take for you to learn to trade with confidence? I always wanted to learn to trade but felt I never had the knack for it. I do an incy bit of spot trading but nothing major league. I see that you have made a great success and it's encouraging for newbies who want to learn to trade. For a newbie like me where do you think I should start and what courses or youtube channels do you think I should focus on as a beginner. I know a little bit about indicators and learning to read candlesticks etc but am far off even dreaming of becoming a professional trader, but would want to start somewhere, putting in say an hour a day to learn. I just am too overwhelmed with everything that is available to know from where I should actually start from. Everyone also is on Bybit and Bitmex leverage trading so that also is more daunting.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Stake vs Fixed bounty allocation on: September 18, 2019, 02:18:33 PM
For me personally, I don't really mind what kind of bounty at I do, as long as the project is decent and it pays out and we can in the end trade the tokens or coins they dish out. If I am doing either a stake or fixed bounty, but the project turns out to be a scam or some crap coin that never ever gets onto an exchange, then it doesn't really matter what I do. I am now just looking for a few very decent bounties to do over the coming months, in the hope that by 2020 bull run or beyond, I have a few decent coins to hold as I believe this is my last chance and year in Crypto to do anything of substance. I lsot my big chance in 2018 so now am giving myself one more go at it. I notice many of the fixed bounties don't give high rewards, but if the project is very good, then it might work out better than a so-called higher-paying stake type bunty, especially if the coin or token gets dumped hard.
389  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: September 17, 2019, 01:22:41 PM
It's great to see a stablecoin actually backed by real gold. This will bring a lot of confidence in the Financial Markets, especially with the way FIAT currencies globally are becoming more and more unstable and most are backed up by either fresh or debt, or actually BOTH at the same time, which creates a spiral that gets out of control and destroys the purchasing power for generations well into the future. Many of us have seen our wealth destroyed over the years and hence moving into digital currencies could be our last salvation and resort, because staying stuck in the old paradigms is just making us poorer and poorer. I hope to procure some of the Gold stablecoin and use it as a hedge against both inflation and also the devaluation of FIAT currency which has been our downfall, especially in the last 100 years with quantitative easing working on overdrive. This looks like one of the most interesting projects of 2019.
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] PBET – Physical Casino's Players Can Now Play Anywhere, Anytime!! on: September 17, 2019, 01:15:22 PM
Great News For All

📌The next and final round of the IEO will take place from September 10th till October the 2nd and will be the final chance for contributors to participate to the IEO. During this round, we will be offering a 25% discount rate. The launchpad and other details will be announced soon.

✔️Website: https://pbet.io/

Gambling and the Gaming Industry at large is getting quite humongous now in the Cryptosphere and a solidly thought out project like PBET is gaining some nice momentum on LATOKEN exchange where the IEO is taking place. That's where I found out about the project checking all the IEO's listed on LATOKEN and was quite impressed that it has sparked many investor's interest. I am looking for new and solid blockchain projects to invest in the long term as I see much growth potential in this sector, coming into 2020. I want to go thoroughly through the whitepaper over a long cup of coffee tonight and check to see how many boxes I can cross off so I can merrily invest a little here for my future retirement bag. I have to start from 0 again, so this time looking diligently for some really good projects, which I think this one will be in the near and more distant future.
391  Economy / Economics / Re: My market vision at this time... on: September 17, 2019, 12:41:24 PM
Remember, that after every bust comes a boom and believe me memories become extremely short and once FOMO kicks in hard, there will be an influx of people coming into invest, retail and hardcore investors alike. I think though the landscape of the next Bull run might be different to the one we had in 2017 which came and crashed so hard and fast that it caught many of us holding bags unawares and many of us didn't get to sell in time. I think digital currencies and tokenization of projects is here to stay and even we have IEOS, many of the new tokens are still ERC20, but we are seeing other big blockchain platforms like EOS and TRON taking part of ETHEREUM's market cap as well as other smaller blockchains, so there is a lot more to choose from now. Bitcoin, of course still remaining King for now as a store of value because too many Whales are invested in it for it to fail in the near future.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]COSS Token Swap ICO is LIVE on: September 16, 2019, 08:40:45 AM
I used to own over 150k COSS tokens back in the day but because of the bear market blues that struck after it's all-time high had to sell for survival purposes. It is a good and legit project though and they are constantly improving so maybe if I get a spit of spare capital again, I might decide to invest in the new COS token they did the merger they had with another coin. It's a great exchange to trade on and they usually have a ton of trading incentives and contests brought about courtesy of new token listings etc. Of course, it's the passive income side of things that makes this attractive as a very long term project to invest in and I mean it when I say very long term because it may take a few years for it to bring about the kind of rewards crypto investors are looking for. It's solid, robust and trustworthy, so these are the very things investors in blockchain projects should be looking for anyway, without a doubt.
393  Economy / Economics / Re: How to manage the risk in investing cryptocurrency? on: September 16, 2019, 08:19:02 AM
I made a ton of mistakes in the last few years of my life in the Cryptocurrency World, so now am trying got be really much more careful in assessing the risk to reward ratios. First, you need to really be extremely disciplined and not get carried away with the FUD or FOMO surrounding the projects you invest in. You need to set yourself, short, medium and long term targets and stick to them. Secondly, you need to make sure you take profit at whatever opportunity you can to preserve your capital. I didn't do this in January 2018 and this was my initial downfall. Now left with almost nothing, I am starting again from scratch and want to build up and preserve my capital again. Make sure every time you take profits to reward yourself with something small or do something for another person, family member or friend. The Art of giving really helps to stimulate that feeling of wealth creation and takes away the element of greed which often is the primary cause of us getting rekt. Make sure your trading lot sizes if you day trade are the right size and you put stop losses also, so you don't lose your shirt.
394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you think is better, buy at tokensale or buy at public exchange? on: September 16, 2019, 08:09:59 AM
Before investing in any blockchain project, I would do stringent due diligence and research. We all tend to forget that this is a really volatile and high-risk area of investing in and still a very fledgling Fintech Industry at that. It all really depends as well where the IEO is being held and on what exchange. If Binance are holding the IEO, then you have more chance of it becoming a great success story or at least maintaining a fairly stable presence in the plethora of altcoin projects popping up, than say on a much smaller or lesser-known exchange. On the other hand, there might be an ICO whereby you may get big partners and backers backing it, that might be better to invest in than say your average IEO. You need tt ake also other variables into account, what is the product or service being offered? Does it solve a problem so can get a good share in the market and obtain a large demographic to sue that product or service? How experienced is the Team? What are the tokenomics? Are they favorable short or long term for Investors etc. You need to weight down a lot of things before putting in your hard-earned money either in an EIO OR ICO.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties keeps getting worse on: September 15, 2019, 12:12:44 PM
I was out of Bounty Hunting for a while and just got back in again, as I was really dismayed with the lack of decent projects throughout the most of 2018 and the earlier part of 2019. I have come back to try to work hard again in this area, but am wondering if the situation is gettign any better or not. Time will tell and I am only selecting at least good Bounty Manager's projects, where at least I have a better chance of earning a little decent amount of Crypto. I have lost a lot in the last bear market so starting literally from 0 all over again. I am not sure if I will be afforded the luck I had in 2016-2017 but you never know, even if one out of five projects I am involved in, for example, pay me out a decent reward, I will be happy with that. Our time though is passing very fast and is very precious and I feel at my age, I am running out fas tof this precious asset we have, TIME, that is. I hope I can choose decent bounty jobs so that my time is valuable enough to stay on the Internet.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SXC][NSFW] Sexcoin - New Android Client Release! on: September 15, 2019, 12:07:32 PM
It's funny to say that what really got me into Crypto big time was selling Sexcoin on Cryptsy all those years ago. I was clicking the Sexcoin faucet for like a few weeks then I took the coins onto cryptsy exchange to sell and madE like 200 bucks in the pump. That was like a big eye-opener for me and I have never looked back ever since.I really miss those days where coins got pumped to oblivion and we all used to make quite easy money and it was fun. I am too old to post sexy pics of me to earn Sexcoins but if there is another way to earn them, I would love to know how to get hold of a little bag. I should maybe buy some just to hold for posterity, as it was the first coin that actually made me decide to be in Crypto for the long term. It made me more excited even than Bitcoin at the time because it was like a huge win for me to make 200 bucks from clicking faucets, such an easy job at the time!
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you buy National Lottery tickets with Bitcoin in your country? on: September 15, 2019, 11:57:57 AM
Unfortunately, because my country is small, government policies here are very protectionist and the country is literally run by a clan of 5-60 old families who rule the roost and control all the money flow due to the investment wealth they built up over the years. So online gambling of any sort is strictly prohibited, which means no Bitcoin casinos or lotteries can function or be accessed. As soon as you try to click on a site, you get a government website pop up that talks a load of crap about responsible gaming. It's all a load of rubbish because the country is full of lottery and horse racing betting shops. The reason they don't want us to gamble online is that they want the money to stay in the country to and they want to collect the tax money lol from all the gambling which is done here. Also, they are building a string of casinos across the country to lure in more Tourist money.
