But you are also taking away the free will of the driver. I will never drive a car that I am not in total control of if I wish to be.

You're not alone in your thinking. But I welcome the change. Time to read a book, watch a movie, play a game, etc. Anything but be a zombie staring at the dotted lines.

Why don't you wanna jog your noggin on that particular question?

Because it's a ridiculous claim that the number of comments on a website is in some way indicative of quality. But hey, I'll humor you. Where's your proof of this correlation?
383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 16, 2019, 12:34:06 PM
Ah. It was hidden, fair enough. Yet with zero comments. Why do you suppose that is?

A wise man once said, "If you can't argue the facts, argue the number of comments on a website."

What did I just say about comment sections?

What are you talking about? They do have a comment section.

It's also why lefties think righties are, as our good friend a few posts up said, retarded. They simply are not physically able to comprehend how we think and why we hold the values we do.

Well, on average, they are less intelligent. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/life/the-hot-button/study-links-low-intelligence-with-right-wing-beliefs/article543361/

Religious people are less stressed on average than atheists. It's a stress relieving tool, and it helps bring cohesion to a culture. And as an atheist I fucking hate this, but it appears to be the case.

Have you tried both, religion and athiesm? I have. Atheism is far less stressful and way more fun!

That must be the cause of the current PUMP.

Billionaires repeatedly put their money at stake for returns. "Everyone" else is staking their money on iPhones. So fuck off you filthy thief.

Billionaires don't create wealth. They hire people to create wealth and then underpay them. That underpayment gap has become obscene.

So, predictions. If I am correct that all the social ills and psychological and behavioral problems of our time is primarily caused by overpopulation and life being too easy for generations at a time, then there are only a very small number of possible future outcomes.

The first one that a lot of people will probably jump to is that we simply wait for the boomers to die and then everything will be fine after that. Not going to happen. Things always change, and always towards the left over time.

Population growth has slowed and reversed in many countries.

... total household debt increased by $32 billion (0.2%) to $13.54 trillion in the fourth quarter of 2018

Everyone is drowning in debt because people aren't being paid for what they produce. Time to tax the billionaires.

Guys, please explain to me the logic of the people who wear these t-shirts.  Does anybody believe them?

More likely them than CSW.

20 years of price changes in the United States...

Notice how government subsidized industries are the most expensive? 😮

Let me help you with that.

The arbitrage with Bitcoin to fiat is very risky. First, Bitfinex is nothing like the US exchanges (which are under the supervision of SEC) and is known with their "hacks" and "bank problems". This means your money can be stolen and you can't do anything about it. Second: if you buy at Bitstamp and transfer the Bitcoins to Bitfinex, you have to wait several hours during which time the price may dip.

Yeah, to do that effectively, you need to hold balances in both places so that you can execute instantly. Definitely risky.

By the way, fuck your attempt at NOT defining that scenario as spamming the network - even if there were a lot of transactions with fees, those transactions were malicious attempts to block transactions, increase fees facilitating BIG BLOCKER nutjob talking points.  Therefore, spam (even though quite costly) done for political attack and sabotaging purposes rather than legitimately attempting to use bitcoin's blockchain.   So fuck your attempts to categorize attacks on the bitcoin blockchain as legitimate uses just because they are paying fees.

There's no thought-police in Bitcoin. You send me a clean tx with standard fees and I'll mine it. I couldn't care less about your "purpose".
396  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 06, 2019, 12:51:20 AM
What I mean is that you should attempt to project ahead a bit of scenarios in which you are selling, and better that you do not sell 100%, but instead maybe 10% at each level or maybe some other percentage that is comfortable for you.  Even selling 33% at various levels could be reasonable, too because it at least leaves you with some BTC in case the price keeps going UP way beyond your earlier expectations.

Right. Never go full fiat.

Don't do that! The very basic idea behind 2FA is to not allow "transfer" of same 2FA code to new device!

No, 2FA is simply two ways to authenticate, usually a password and a generated code. My 2FA encryption key is stored offline, and I have a backup 2FA offline device. If my primary device dies, and can easily set up a new primary device safely knowing that nothing has been compromised. If my primary device is stolen, I can use my backup device to deactivate my online 2FA codes and setup fresh new ones.

My phone is looking tired, I'm not looking forward to working out how to change the 2fa to a new phone. Internet instructions are vague.

Quite difficult. Disable 2FA on all your accounts. Setup Authy on the new phone or web, encrypted with a unique secure password. Configure new 2FAs for all your accounts on Authy. Next time you need to move phones will be trivial since you used Authy.

Bitstamp accepts credit cards and USD deposits

The past is no predictor of future performance, but Bitstamp has always been good to me.
