381  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: January 13, 2018, 04:06:11 PM
That is an interesting topic and idea, and i can say that i agree with it. It is possible for bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to bring some stability to other countries economy, and help people live a bit better. But on the long runs that country would need to deal with its problems, because crypto can not solve everything on its own.
I can understand situation, because in country where i live, if there was not for my earnings in bitcoins i would have harder life. Not much, but bitcoin provide some luxury which i could not have if there was not bitcoin and other cryptos.
382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt to hold?? on: January 13, 2018, 04:00:32 AM
With everything that is going on with bitcoin i can understand why most people turn to altcoins. I would always say that if bitcoin fail, Ethereum will become new king of crypto, so you can invest in it.
If you want something cheaper but also good, you can check out Ripple , i heard that it have good potential and it had bust in its price. Also you can check Electrum, heard that its making good progres and its price is doing well.
383  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bubble Burst ? on: January 12, 2018, 07:11:04 PM
There are only two optiouns, you can hold and wait for better moment or you can bailout. I believe that bitcoin will normalize soon, and after that it will continue on its path of rising. But we can not ignore possibility of its down fall. Maybe best option would be to hold major part of your fond, and transfer part of it into some other crypto. In that case i would recommend Ethereum or Bitcoin cash. Think carefully what you want, and than decide.
384  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and not Paying Taxes on: January 12, 2018, 03:44:10 PM
Not paying tax always end badly, it is just matter of time before you get caught. Depend on country's laws you can go free with not paying tax for some time, if you know how. But that goes only until you start earning serious money, that you can not hide. Even if you earn it with bitcoin it is steal earning and you would need to pay tax, unless it is different in your country. Either way, you still would need to transfer that coins into fiat currency, because not every place accept bitcoin as way of payment, and that is one more thing that would be end of your not paying taxes.
385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LITECOIN WILL SKYROCKET TO THE MOON! on: January 11, 2018, 12:36:47 PM
This is interesting! This is second time that i hear about this news. First time i heard that facebook is planing and cooperating with some cryptocurrency about its implementation into facebook on my national television. And now i read about same thing here. I must say that if Litecoin deliver all that, it will be great move for it. If they really implement Litecoin into facebook, price of it will go high. Who can say what will happen for certain in the future.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitocin will be a BitPaper Money? on: January 11, 2018, 09:00:52 AM
That is not possible, i mean it would be against everything that blockchain technology are and represents. For blockchain to work properly you need internet access, so you could share informations with other participants from that blockchain network. Not to mention trust issue that would come with something like that (paper bitcoin). People support blockchain technology because it gives possibility for decentralized cryptocurrency, so by printing bitcoin you are making it like any other paper money out there. At least that is what i think.
387  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoin 2018 on: January 10, 2018, 09:07:33 PM
In last few days i have heard a lot about Electroneum. From several sources i got advice to invest in it, and from the look of its price and rise of same, i think that would be a good idea. I guess that Electroneum have really good potential to become really valuable altcoin in 2018. But we must not forget ICO's, those coins that are still on their way, they could win the race in 2018. Maybe we will see some new and even better altcoin or some that most people didn't know about.
388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is still Ok to invest in Etherium on: January 09, 2018, 03:06:11 PM
Ethereum is one of the strongest coins, and from my point of view reliable and good choice for investing. Actual price of Ethereum is this high because of things that are going on with Bitcoin. Because of Bitcoin's high fees and slow transactions, investors turn to other cryptocurrencies and Ethereum is among first choices. That is rising Ethereum's price, and who can tell how much it will go up before it starts declining. So I think that this is risky moment for investing into Ethereum, but sometime with higher risk comes higher gain. I advice you to wait for price to fall down a bit and than to invest.
389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC doing? on: January 08, 2018, 11:27:54 PM
Probably because of insanely high fees and slow transactions, people that uses bitcoin often, they have probably decided to use some other crypto till everything become normal again. That could be a reason why there are rising in altcoins value. And it will continue to be like that as long as bitcoin is in situation like this. If nothing is changed this could lead to destruction of bitcoin. Bitcoin have some serious problems that needs to be dealt with, or it will become dead legend...
390  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO basics for Newbies on: January 08, 2018, 07:21:19 PM
This is good guide for people who don't know what ICO's are, or for people who want to learn something more or to remind them self about something. People tend to forget, that most of the times basic things are most important, and this thread is about that.
There are all kind of ICO's out there and this is good reminder for us to do good research before joining, to be sure that we are not making a mistake.
391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If ETH price exceed the BTC's on: January 07, 2018, 09:50:54 AM
After reading a title at first I thought, that would never happen, but after a while of thinking.. Why not? Atm it is true BTC is implemented more widely but this could change. Algorithm is slow and not design for high load/speed.

On the other hand smartcontracts proved that ETH can't handle high load transactions either. But there are also other candidates, so who knows Smiley

You may be right, either bitcoin will find a solution for higher speed or it will fade away for sure, it is just matter of time. Also at the moment fees are insanely high, and that is another serious problem for its survival. Bitcoin is leading crypto, but if those problems are not solved some other crypto could win the race.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Now Climbing Back Again !! on: January 07, 2018, 08:37:08 AM
Yes bitcoin is back and its raising again. The past values are returning now. This is what you called comeback is real.
maybe traders and investors are back from long holiday vacation if this continue we may see bitcoin price touches to $20k with more people are getting aware of bitcoin price may still surge soon
It is possible that small number of traders was off for the holidays, but i don't think that is all. What is more likely is that most of the traders and some holders wanted to see what will happen with the price and than decide what to do next. So when they have seen that the price is not falling any more, they decided that it is time for buying. Because of that price is on the rise once again.
393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If ETH price exceed the BTC's on: January 07, 2018, 08:30:06 AM
It is not impossible, but it is less likely. I believe that if bitcoin dies for some reason, ethereum will succeed it. Therefor ethereum can have higher price only if bitcoin dies.
And as far as changes are concerned,  there wouldn't be much of a change. Everything would work as it is, only ethereum would be number one crypto.
394  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Now Climbing Back Again !! on: January 06, 2018, 12:39:24 PM
Who would not be happy to see bitcoin rising up again... i was a bit suspicious, and was not sure what is going to happen next. I thought that bitcoin will stay on that price for longer time, but now when it started to rise up again i see that i was wrong. But now new question comes to my mind, and that is: to which point will bitcoin continue to rise and whats its limit...
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to Hold these on: January 04, 2018, 11:56:37 AM
I think you made a smart move when you divided your investment. BTCs fee is really high at the moment, so a lot of people will go to altcoins. But i don't think that BTCs price will go down. BTC have impact on altcoins price because it is main and leading crypto. But if people decide to buy a lot of one altcoin, well that will bust price of that altcoin. So Altcoin and BTC are connected, but not entirely.
396  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have You Been Scammed? on: December 27, 2017, 09:45:06 PM
There will alway be people who would like to get money easy way, and some "smart" people will always use other peoples greed for their own gain. Personally I have never been scamed for money, but once i got scamed in online game for items, therefor i know the feeling... partially  at least. Only advice for other people that i can give is, if its too easy its probably a scam. Also do not share important info to anyone in whom you do not have absolute trust.
397  Economy / Speculation / Re: 16.5K will be the major resistance for BTC ? on: December 27, 2017, 08:30:10 PM
Like always, for steady price time has to pass, after which price can rise or fall. So far after some time price of bitcoin was always rising, but who can tell for how long will it continue to do so. Maybe this was top price that bitcoin could hit, but honestly i hope its not and i doubt it is. Price will stagnate for now, and after new year i expect to see rising again.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ICOs will fail in 2018 on: December 27, 2017, 04:07:49 PM
From what i have seen this article gives really good insite how ICOs should be menaged. As far as 2018. is concerned,  it should be better than 2017. I guess that people will learn from ICOs that failed so that they would not repeat their mistakes. I believe that at the end we will see which ICO is good, because bad will not survive. So i don't think that ICOs will fail in 2018, at least not all of them.
399  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people scam on: December 27, 2017, 02:15:02 PM
Humans are mostly selfish creatures,  with ego that controls most of the things. To person his own well being will be on first place... almost always. And as far as people in need are concerned, most of them want something and doesn't want to give something in return. So it is easier to come back than to put thier mind on helping themselves by working hard to resolve their situation
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin is better than other coins? on: December 27, 2017, 12:31:14 PM
There is possibility that bitcoin won't stay on top forever, but if bitcoin goes down some other crypto will succeed it and it will not have bitcoin in its name. Bitcoin is first of its kind, and that gives it advantage over ther currencies. There is one bitcoin, all other bitcoins are its copy, which people will not support if bitcoin die.
