I to would like to know if the firmware makes these run at a higher hashrate like their
bigger cousins.

the firmware update is for the gridseed miners. at least thats what i have heard.

Thanks.  I was thinking that these were made with one gridseed chip and if firmware pushed hashing up over 40% that would change everyones ROI.  Oh well.  I will keep an eye open for your next GB On the bigger ones. As well as this one as we get closer to fully funded.

Yes that is true any it very well maybe also incrising the hash rate of thies as well.

How much are you short for this batch? Second post still shows 190. Also, will you be able to buy given most orders are still "Not paid"?
I will need to wait till all orders are Paid befor i can place the order. I am now short 75 units.

You can of course update mine to paid.  Wink
Done

Please start getting your payments into me.

What is the hashrate for one of those?

300khs but new firmware is being tested and has reached 500-600khs

Is it new firmware or is a new board which just has 2x as many chips on it?  I was under the impression that Gridseed was going to create a new board with more chips (thus reach higher hash numbers) and drop it into a typical ATX style case...Am I completely mistaken???

New firmware.

Wow!  I'm speechless...I bought the LA3M which is 10 of these....I can't wait for the new firmware to be released....uh I guess I should wait till I get these in my hot little hands before I get all crazy abou the new firmware, huh? Tongue

Hi Worldly:

did you have to pay import duties on your order? They are asking me what I want them to invoice? Is this a way to get the duty down? (there may be something lost in translation....)

I don't know..I paid 3.44BTC (~$2750USD) so I presume when I get them I'd pay import duties?  I don't know the rules for having stuff sent from China to the US.  I havent' got the package yet so I don't know...this is the first time ever I've had something sent to me from outside the US...so its a whole new adventure.

I've had stuff sent to me from china and never had any issues or had to pay import tax. But i cannot tell you its always the same.

If price is going to remain at .107 I will take another 10-20.  Just need a shipping date before placing the order...

it will remain at BTC0.107 for now.
As far as a shipping date it will depend on when the group buy gets fully funded.

Hi Demon:

I PM'd you.

Happy to make a dent with an order for15 20 and probably 15 20 more in the next batch.
^^^ Replied to your pm.

Wish there was more interest so this would get ready to ship, I would say I'll take 4 more, but at 174, I don't see my 4 making a dent.  But put me down for 4 more anyway.  Really want like 50 of them on a big USB hub like they were selling with the block interrupters.

Guys if you are wondering if these work, I got my first 5, been running for 48hours, solid hashrate on them, mined some DOGE, mining MINT now, the pool has 0 invalids for me.  I know they seem spensive, but the power savings alone make them worthwhile, get some!   Let's get this batch shipped!

sbfree has someof thoes hubs for sell...
only need about 150 more to sell. come on fokes.
I can get some. What's the rate now ?  I thought you were changing the rate or there was some confusion. I can get 5 , maybe 10 more.
And what's your best estimate when we get these in hand.

^^^ Price is staying the same for now. As far as getting them in hand is all depending on the group.

Interested in more ... how many are left to fill batch 2?

I got 35 (in batch 1) .. however 1 (from batch 1) will not hash
how do we deal with this? (the other 34 work fine)

-j

^^^ As far as hashing issues please PM dualminer with any of your support questions.

Dont think that'll work, OP said his price is $85 each. .107 now is roughly $71

^^^ Indeed that is correct. However with everyone sending me the same amount of BTC it makes it easier for me to refund if need to be.

OP says 0.107BTC. I can't pay in USD unless he starts accepting PayPal. Besides, that's exactly what everybody else paid. Cheaper BTC may push this stalled GB over, don't you think? Also, you may wake up tomorrow and it's $95.

I am pretty sure demon keeps funds in BTC because if he decides to stop this batch and refund, then there would be too much risk.

^^^ Yes I do keep it all in BTC. I really dont feel like losing money.
Although the PayPal idea is starting to sound not half way too bad considering you will still have a shipping number and what not BUT its the PayPal fees..  Cry  And then for me to pay the distributer I will have to convert over to BTC anyhow.

************************************************************

Main OP updated with who has paid and not paid.
For those that has not paid please start to get your payments in.
We only need 115 more to be reserved/paid!  Shocked Grin

Will there be a GB#2 for this product sometime soon?
Yes there will be. It will be a few days.
395  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN - Group Buy]Dualminer USB ASIC sha/scrypt miner $85 [USA Only][Batch #2] on: February 08, 2014, 12:36:32 AM
Indeed you have and I thank you for that.

Although right now with BTC falling the prices are not in my favor... sooo im not truly sure what to do.
Should i ask for more to make up the difference or should i start refunding... Or just see what happens.. What do ya guys say?

That's a good question.  Last night was both fun and brutal depending on your perspective.  Since you have already got 300 once would the supplier work with you to give you the same price if we reached at least 200?  That's 500 units in less than a 30 day time span.  I could do 2-3 more if needed.
I too am considering a few more.....

Demon, So Dualminer isn't like prior Asic manufacturers that priced in BTC no matter what? Weak!

Nope its $$$$$$$$$...

I need $30k to get the miners.. not including shipping to me and shipping to ya.
396  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN - Group Buy]Dualminer USB ASIC sha/scrypt miner $85 [USA Only][Batch #2] on: February 07, 2014, 06:06:03 AM
demon, I've pumped this group buy in a few threads but not much action i guess.

Your getting 46? You should totally up it to an even 50 or 60 Smiley or just go for the gusto with 100

did you see how many he got on the first batch?
