He don't want, but he hast to, as we can read in the next news the UFC 249 is already cancelled:
This is one of the most cursed fight in history and if both the fighters are healthy then i am sure they will find investors from UAE and Saudi to carry on with the fight as they have plenty of money to make the fight just for the royal people as audience and with the growing support Khabib have in these regions if the UFC is not able to make in fight in the US then they will shift to these regions.

You don't seem to get the joke there.
I did understand and hence said about deflation factor but considering him as an athlete he can fight if he trains and not against top level fighters, if Dave Bautista can fight a journey man and make his debut in MMA why not John Cena without any USADA testing ofcourse Wink.

Recent deadline (15th April) is because of Gov as they already cancelled all the foreign visas till next month 15th. If situation improves after one month (We have to wait and watch) then Indian gov might ease the visa process including other formalities and BCCI can think of running Short version of IPL for remaining days as this year schedule is already jam-packed.
The situation will get worse in the coming months as the virus is spreading rapidly and the only solution will be to push the event back or cancel it altogether and there are talks about even the Olympics will be pushed to next year and that will be the case with every major tournaments. But with the case of IPL the team owners will push for the tournament and we will see how the BCCI will decide how to rescue them from avoiding a huge financial loss.

Woodley would be KO'ed by John Cena and he won't be able to see what hit him  Grin
For John Cena to fight he needs to get all the steroids out of his system and it will take about a year and by that time he will be deflated like a balloon and he is not even a trained fighter to fight professionally. Grin

Dana could postpone or just scrap all the three fight nights before UFC 249 all he wants and I wouldn't complain. Only a few watch those fights anyways. What's important is Khabib vs. Tony.
I bet Dana White do not want to postpone any fights but they will be forced to move these events because the situation demands it and i doubt Khabib and Tony will happen as scheduled.

Its been a good fight back from SA to win the ODI series after a poor performance in the T20 series. I am a little surprised at how SA have bounced back especially in the ODI series after they had a poor World Cup.
It was a surprise for everyone as i did not expect South Africa to dominate the ODI series, it was similar to the recent India and New Zealand series where India dominated the T20 series but then New Zealand came back and dominated the rest and now South Africa and India will be playing and the first ODI starts today.

Just checked the score and it seems Bangladesh are cruising, 182 for no wickets and it's only 33.2 overs. In the 2nd ODI Bangladesh gave a target of 323 runs and Zimbabwe were very close to chase it down (318) so considering that, this cruising may not still safe if the total runs do not go over 320+.

Not sure if it's the pitch or the bowlers are bowling low quality in this series.
It is the bowling quality of Zimbabwe that are encouraging the Bangladesh batsman to become attacking players and Tamim Iqbal is back in form with back to back centuries and Liton Das posting his highest ODI score in this match, there is no way Zimbabwe will be reaching close to the score posted and if the Bangladesh batsman can showcase the same confidence against better teams then it would be great Grin.
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wilder vs. Fury II: The Rematch is On on: February 28, 2020, 09:50:36 PM
Have you all read the so many excuses Wilder is putting in his defeat to Fury, he is blaming everybody but himself, blaming the trainer, blaming the suit, blaming the referee, I will not be surprised if the next one that he is going to blame is Fury by not following the script and beat him to the pulp.
It is obvious that the big ego of Wilder was dented by this defeat as he cannot accept the loss and he is trying to find reasons for having his first loss in his career and i am not expecting any major changes in the fight game of Wilder as he never tried to change for over ten years and he was successful with his one dimensional approach and intimidation and Fury just fought the perfect game plan.

India has performed well till now, but the women's team in India doesn't enjoy the level of glamour and glitz that is associated with the men's sport. The BCCI is yet to organize a franchise league for the women players, while their counterparts in Australia and England have Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) and Women's Cricket Super League respectively.
Sure the Women cricketers are not getting the same recognition like the male counterparts and that is the case with other sports , only male cricketers does have fans and the money value, if you check out Mithali Raj who is a sort of legendary female cricketer with a average above 50 and i am sure many have no idea who she is.
India is playing well and they could win the tournament as they are bowling really well and Poonam Yadav and Shikha Pandey are the leading wicket takers in the tournament so far and they have won close games with their bowling.

AFAIK,there is no interruption from weather on this match so the home team is excited to win this match after their terrific first innings total, but still two days remaining,so they have to play as good as they were doing for the past few days then this match will be on their hand.
There was a slight delay due to bad weather but the possibility to loose more time due to bad weather is low but Sri Lanka need luck to win or draw this match, Mathews needs to perform extraordinary well and Zimbabwe needs to put some quick runs on the board and put the opposition to bat as early as possible and go for the kill.
392  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 29, 2020, 04:58:03 PM
New Zealand doesn't have World Class Spinners, what about India. It was almost the same with India as well, only Jadeja can be mentioned. Today the batting is very strong for India, when it comes to New Zealand the lag was felt in between when there is someone to keep up the required run rate. In terms of fielding New Zealand was better than India in today's match. Somehow it is not the day of New Zealand.
India does have world class fast bowlers and so is the reason New Zealand chocked in the final moments, if not they would have easily crossed the line and won the match and India would not have won the series comfortably. New Zealand is not having their winning moment throughout the series Wink.

I think they are the new chokers we have on international platforms. They have a good team with a great captain. But most of the time you would see them choking at big platforms. I hope that they become a better team.
That is a correct phrase, the new chokers in world cricket as they are not able to cross the line in multiple tournaments and it will be really disappointing for the players.

I agree. Southee is not known for his change of pace or accuracy. But I wouldn't blame the decision to give him the opportunity to bowl, because he was the most experienced bowler out there.
Today Ish Sodhi bowled really well and with the way the Indian players handled they would have taken the risk and given the over to him rather than Tim Southee as he lacks many variation and if someone is planning to go after him he always go for runs.

Most of the teams outside the big 3 are facing issues due to limited player pool, and in case of New Zealand this has reached a stage of high severity. Despite additions from countries such as South Africa (Neil Wagner, Colin de Grandhomme.etc), they are still unable to reduce the over-dependence on some of their bowlers.
Earlier India too had the issue with world class fast bowlers but now things changed for good and Pakistan who used to produce world class fast bowlers are struggling now and that is the case rest of the teams.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 29, 2020, 02:51:19 PM
Unlike India, New Zealand doesn't have any world class spinners in their playing XI. Mitchell Santner have been taking wickets regularly, but he is very inconsistent and he concedes a lot of runs in crucial situations. Also, the Indian batsmen are very comfortable against spinners (especially against those who don't turn the ball much, such as Santner). James Neesham would have been a good choice.... But I haven't seen in action for many months now.
Yeah i understand they do not have a world class spinner but if someone who could mix the pace and the length quite often then it is not that easy to score when you are forced to hit the ball against a slow bowler in my opinion, if he is bowling at a full length without any variation then it will be easier for the batsman but if you can mix them well then you will miss hit a couple of times and the game is done.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 29, 2020, 02:14:30 PM
Tim Southee should have never bowled those half volleys, because Rohit Sharma never misses such deliveries. This is where I feel that New Zealand is missing their strike bowler (Trent Boult). If Boult was on their side, then they could have easily won this match. Can you imagine a side losing the super over, after scoring a massive 17 runs batting first?
These are hypothetical situation as Trent Boult is injured and Tim Southee is their strike bowler, i think they will have a hard time if spinners will ball the super over who is able to mix the deliveries because Tim Southee is known to give away too many looking at his economy in T20, India won the series and hopefully they will give the bench players some opportunities to perform.

it is a huge fight in the entire UFC right now rather than talking about Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor rematch.
The reason there is hype around Conor McGregor is because of the way in which he won the fight against Cerrone and rather than promoting one of the biggest fight and the most anticipated fight in UFC history Dana White is talking about making the Khabib rematch which means they are not taking the fight seriously and it may be because the fight fell off many times.

South Africa bowlers did a good job and took quick 5 -6 wickets. Although the England runs lead is still quite enormous but who knows if top order of the South Africans can bat well, we can see an interesting finish to this match.
If the South African bowlers were not able to pick all those wickets then the England captain would have set a record score to chase and i still do not understand their strategy, to give the England batsman some batting practice or to give rest to the bowlers and entertain the crowd as they scored above 6 runs an over in the final stages. South Africa now have a target of just 466 runs to win the match with two days left. I doubt even with the all time South African Test team they will be able to win the match but they could draw from this situation as they had some great players. Cheesy

Shaw is pure opener. and opens in Ranji, Did open in u19 World cup, Open the inning in the Test Match against Windies.
Shaw performed well in his debut Test series and hopefully he will continue to perform well in ODI, he was banned for drug violation in his young age but the reason was said they popped because of cough syrup which is really unfortunate, looks like the T20 is already set as they are performing well and if they could give the bench players some opportunity it would be great, there are some spots in the ODI team and Shaw fits in perfectly if he performs.

I was expecting the match to go like till last over and the way NZ team played first T20 it was expected that they would atleast give tough fight. But this game was just one sided where NZ bowlers were just off target today. Indian bowlers Shami, Jadeja and Bumrah spell was terrific and rest batsman managed to win the game for the team easily.
When i saw the start New Zealand got i thought they will post a huge total but then the bowlers bowled really good line and length and started picking up wickets in quick succession and won the match with ease and if New Zealand is not able to win the next match then the series belongs to India and then the rest of the matches they might experiment with the bench strength.
