I'm really curious about how bot softwares "send" captcha to human workers. By any chance, do you know that?

Thanks for the tip of creating my own custom captcha. That's a good idea.
It's simpler than you think, really. Each captcha have an ID,the bot scrapes the captcha ID he's facing and use the captcha solver service (Example:2captcha) API to "send" the ID to the service database, then it's solved by a human, that is paid for doing so.

Very good initiative. It works like a charm,no comments on that.Just a quick suggestion, try to monetize it using ads (Google Adsense would be the best I guess) as you're making it free while you have hosting costs.

Selly itself is a scam? There is trusted sellers that use selly and I was planning to buy things using it.It would be highly appreciated if you could state your sources/proofs of your claims as it will help me and a lot of people!

Bullshit.Start off by removing your javascript miner from the website, then we can talk about attracting members to use your website, you're not even telling them.Ads and referral rewards should be enough to keep your business alive I'm am mistaken?
385  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How much money do I need to start my own faucet? on: August 19, 2018, 02:21:05 AM
Well,if the payments have to be requested first by the users done manually processed by you,the faucet owner you can easily detect if there is fraudulant activity related to the user in question or not.I mean if you see someone requesting a big payment while he didn't register long ago it's obvious he's using bots right?

That can be a way of telling who is bot, at the beginning. But after a long time, that way no longer works because every user has become a long-term user. And some long-term users may even sell their accounts to bots.
If you want to do it the hardway, implement an anti-proxy/VPN, implement anti-bot links or other anti-bot means in addition to captcha, hire a coder to check your code and do penetration tests and you should be totally fine.

as i sad one post above XD The bots send the captchas to real humans adn they solve the captcha Wink
So solvemedia is same secure as skript ads or recaptcha or any math captcha or any other captcha ......

regards

I still don't understand. Do you mean bots can't solve Solve Media captchas?
Bots can solve all kind of captcha. There is services like 2captcha that permit to bots solve the captcha without any problem,In fact there is humans behind these services that solve the captchas in behalf of the bots.Ofcourse it's a paid service,it's not worth it to use it on a faucet that pays pennies anyways.

Quick tip:Just make payments manual instead of instant to avoid cheaters and don't go bankrupt.
I see.

How does "making payments manually" detect cheaters?

One thing I noticed for sure,is they mainly pay the reward for doing 10 posts (which is 0.02 ETH) but they don't pay for the 100 posts reward (which is 0.5 ETH).There is dozens of requests for the 0.5 ETH one but only few actually received the reward.

Hello,
If you want people to help you, please give some more details. Is there any error showing up? What OS you use? Any relevant stuff that you may think is related to this incident.

Their website is down now, pretty sure it won't come online again. What bothers me is,why would an admin spend thousands of $ for a forum who is not even monetized yet? Doesn't make any sense unless there is something sketchy behind it.

Edit:Here's the ETH addy of the admin:https://etherscan.io/address/0xba0d86e83ada8e9faeaf3c0d14f210654739a6c7
He already paid new members rewards including 0.5 ETH for 100 posts, too much sketchiness for today lol.

“There will be the Central Bank with its functions in exchange, monetary and financial policy and the Central Bank will be incorporated.”

Politicians won't stop being funny.
The government is basically trying to Centralize Cryptocurrencies it wishes to control.
It is probably an attempt to get rid of transparency and other important features of decentralized Cryptocurrency in order to manipulate the Cryptocurrencies as they wish and possibly destroy them like the national fiat that currently has no value.

Not necessarily,Venezuela is known for it's current inflation crisis. It may be just a legit step to fight against their problem by generalizing the use of cryptocurrencies.I mean, yeah it may destroy decentralization at some point, but they don't have much of choice actually.
392  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Wtf steemit. on: August 15, 2018, 09:24:21 AM
Its also not like any other god damn website on the internet anyway, this is supposed to be based on the blockchain, not the google mail system

the only part where the "blockchain" comes in is when payment is involved, which to be honest I find reddit's tipbot a lot better Cheesy
feel free to correct the two main points above, I am not a user of this platform I have only checked it out.
Steemit isn't directly involving payment,it's more a system to reward bloggers and article writers. You don't get paid when you post on reddit.Do you?
Absolutely agree with the post above. Most blockchain-based applications don't allow for the recovery of passwords easily
That's what it cost to have a decentralized blockchain based plateform.Deal with it or leave it.

Just a quick question concerning the Saturday event. Is there a precise hour where the cheque on a random article is activated? Because "Saturday" is way too indefinite

397  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Money-Clicker.com - CLICKER MINING GAME | PASSIVE INCOME | UP TO $1/CLICK on: August 14, 2018, 05:58:47 PM
This is not a typo, the chances does not sum to a total value, means you can still receive nothing from that.
Based on the data you provided:
- First you have 67% chance for getting Stone.
- If it fails, you have 25% chance for getting Copper.
- If it fails as well, you have 17% chance for getting Tin.
If you didn't receive Tin as well, you get nothing.

I hope you understand Smiley

I know you've mentioned it changes but pretty much everyone wants to at least know the formula for when you buy the drop rate increase so we can at least plug in our player level, upgrade level, etc.

It means that improving the stone drop is actually nerfing the rarer components drops? it seems very punishing from a user PoV. Shouldn't drop rate be computed with the rarer first ? (thats how most RPGs compute drops for example)

If it stays that way, we could use a "sell" button for upgrades. Also, could we know what's the relation between increased drop rate upgrades and the % drop rate in a cave. Is it a flat 1% per level ? A proportional 1% compared to the base drop value ? something more exotic? Its hard to decide whether an upgrade is interesting w/o that kind of information
Agreed. If you've upgraded stone to oblivion, even after they're going to reduce the upgrade limit, it still nerfs other minerals if it picks stone first.
I don't know if it's only me,but eachtime I level up I struggle to break even when buying energy fillups,I don't know what I'm doing wrong though,I'm upgrading the most I can.

A lot of analysists think that whales already knew that the ETF would be rejected so they started dumping on Bitcoin since it's price was at 8k$ level.Psychology will now play a huge role because it's under 6k right now, very bad news.
