3861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Live betting question. on: November 12, 2020, 02:49:11 PM
The live betting option on betcoinag seems ridiculous to me.

If I'm placing a bet on a game and a point is scored when its processing. It will only accept the bet if no point is scored or a point is scored by the opposing team. If my team scores a point it will cancel 99% of the time. I'm fine with the other team scoring and the bet accepting. I just want it to be fair both ways. It will 100% cancel one way but not the other, It just seems like a huge scam to me. I think it's extremely shady that it operates this way but maybe I'm just overreacting.

Hopefully I explained that properly would love to hear feedback. Thanks

I believe you are pertaining to a live bet that when the odds goes low because it is in favor of your bet then the bet will not proceed. I guess there is an option in settings where you could accept all the odds regardless if it goes high or low

He is not pertaining on changes in odds. He is pertaining to a crucial bet that didn't get accepted whenever the result is in favor of his bet split seconds after he place bet. So typically no odds changes that time if he is telling the truth. This kind of story looks like a bitter post from a user that badly lose in the game. If he can create a video of his live betting gaming that showing what he is talking about here, I might believe him because this kind of issue a flaws in casino coding on accepting bets on live betting.

In simple version of his case, he is accusing the casino that his bet is not accepted split seconds before the score updates whenever the result will be in favor of him while it accept whenever his bet lose. We are talking about live betting so the score is typically varies fast especially on tennis or basketball. I usually do live betting and there's always a seconds delay on placing bets. So this story might be possible on a shady casino. But I'm not telling that his accusation was right.
3862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New mining pool imposes KYC and censorship on: November 12, 2020, 12:23:40 PM
That's obvious to see  many miners will soon leave it and this mining pool will be abandoned, because forcing people to do KYC is against bitcoin spirit. Bitcoin was made to be decentralized not being controlled by any organization or government with anonymous transactions and requiring to pass KYC and forcing people to do that is completely against it. This will definitely decrease the miners using this mining pool over time.

They can't do about it if regulators insist because mining pool operator is a business and needs permit to operate. They are force to apply KYC in able to survive. This is the main reason why Satoshi is anonymous, to make bitcoin completely decentralized because once he was caught, Bitcoin might be controlled by implementing a law that will control on it.

This kind of news is very scary because it might destroy the mining industry of bitcoin since many miners on crypto wants a privacy. This might happened on different mining pool too that located on same country.

3864  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Extreme greed on the market on: November 12, 2020, 09:29:39 AM
Hey guys,
By recent Fear&Greed Index bitcoin is in extreme greed area, usually it's a sign of decline in price or even crash. I've been observing this index for quite some time and find it pretty accurate, of course it doesn't give you the exact day or time but it indicates the sentiment on the market. Do you ever use this index in your trading analysis?

Nope. This tool is just for trader that trade based on what they feel about the market. Fear and Greed index are just measuring the ratio of buy to sell power that's why they come up to that index. That Greed sign usually stay that for a long period time especially when bull run so it might cause you to panic and early sell once you rely on it. It's still better to use indicators and sign like Doji for trend reversal rather than that index.
3865  Other / Archival / Re: Binance has begun to block U.S. users on: November 12, 2020, 07:25:06 AM
Well I'm not surprised about this news anymore because binance created already a separate exchange(https://www.binance.us/en/home) specifically for US citizen because they want to avoid the headache from the US government. Just like China, Vpn will not gonna save US citizen this time to dodge this restriction.

I believe US citizen has no choice to stick on the limited coin offer coinbase or the binance US. There is always a friendly DEX like UNI that will them.
3866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin app for newbie suggestion on: November 11, 2020, 10:40:18 PM
A nice app for introducing bitcoin to a beginner, It will save a lot of time and effort to teach a newbie about basic info of bitcoin. You should try to do some translation in different language for your content so that it will be more user friendly to all country and can you decrease the size of the pop-up ads when you click back. I find it annoying especially when I'm browsing the content and accidentally click the back button of my phone. Overall its a good app but it needs some improvement on aesthetics.  Smiley
3867  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn If im beginner on: November 11, 2020, 03:25:24 PM
Get a real job dude. BTC might might help you to give some minor profit but don't too much rely on BTC or this forum as main source of your income. If you come in this forum 10 years maybe it's possible to get sufficient profit on crypto but right now, The only way to earn here is to use your skills to do freelance job or invest fiat to crypto and wait for the price pump.

As a newbie. Sorry to disappoint your expection. But it's not possible to earn by just creating wallet and do some free work like airdrop and faucet. It's not profitable anymore and a waste of time.
3868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know the difference between Bitcoin and bitcoin? on: November 11, 2020, 02:21:18 PM
I pay attention on it when I'm still new here but now it was listed on keyboard and I don't what is the the proper word to use as long as I'm pertaining to a same subject and I can express my thought in my statement. This is an open forum so any minor grammar especially on this case that didn't affect the message is not that a big deal.
3869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥 [ANN] Liquidary.com - Crypto Ranking Reimagined on: November 11, 2020, 12:29:24 PM
Very cool idea about measuring organic liquidity. The problem is how can you guarantee that the volume from exchange is not a product of wash trading. Can you send me the link that will direct me to technical explanation for your method about wash trading detection? This is the main feature that I really want to see on a crypto ranking site to get an accurate data about the overall condition of crypto market. Thanks

PS: Stop using alt account to bump your thread or make a fake feedback. It's really obvious, Your project is good, You don't need a cheap trick like that.  Wink
3870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rollover betting challenge system by Lordhermes on: November 11, 2020, 07:51:41 AM
Odds do not change whether you put a strategy of over many days or all in one session. The probabilities do not remember any preceding event, so you might as well try this all in one sitting. This only ensures you last many days, instead of only 1 day;)

I mean,,, all strategies are fun but they only make a difference of time used up, not of probabilities:)

This is the strategy that gives fun to the OP, We ain't all gambling just to have a quick profit although YOLO betting is very thrilling to do but some people can't handle the pressure of doing it so they prefer the slow phase game.

And also we are talking about here bets and not dice. So time can give him advantage for choosing and analyzing a perfect 1.5 odds to bet.
3871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects can still deliver on: November 11, 2020, 06:18:13 AM
The only new project on your list was Polkadot which is launched this year. The rest was launched during 2017 to 2018 ICO hype. 4(AAVE,Chainlink, Dot and Synthetix) out of 5 are DeFi that's why they benefit on DeFi hype which drives the price high. Most the DeFi project pump atleast 100% last month and every DeFi becomes hidden gem. Only Tezos shows an organic growth due to there product development.
3872  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User colires is a scammer + threating on: November 10, 2020, 11:52:13 PM
Actually, His request is very simple, He is just asking for a screenshot of the product details sensoring some details of it which is very fair to ask before you agree to use escrow just for assurance that you are really holding the product. There a lot of scammers here that selling same accounts that you offer just like the guy that he mention (Old Samurai).

I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt this time since you are newbie but you should grant the request of your customer or provide some proof here that you really have the product that you offer.

EDIT:

This thread is not worthy for a scam accusation maybe on reputation thread.
3873  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just in - Bitcoin at $15 000 on: November 10, 2020, 11:41:19 PM

However 2021 and specially 2021 spring looks very delicious to me as well, I can't wait to get my paycheck to get some bitcoins, it will definitely help me if the price of bitcoin reaches to 30k+ levels during next spring.

Everybody wants to cash out and waiting for the next all time high, if the movement will continue this way which is very slow I don't think we can reach $20 k this year, the highest that Bitcoin can reach is $18 k, this is a good preparation for 2021 for another all time high and we should be prepared to accept that 2020 is not the the year that we will have another all time high.

We need a steady and parabolic movement upward to ensure that BTC price can go above the ATH. A sudden price pump to 20K USD will just result to another sell off before or after we reach that important milestone. I preferred the slow movement rather than fast phase price action because it will just cause panic on selling.
3874  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: November 07, 2020, 05:49:37 PM
Well that took a few days. There is finally a declared victory for the election, Biden wins. I'm sure there will be some questions rolling in so I'll start it off.

When does Betnomi consider the election "won"?
How does the 30% cashback work for losing bets, did people have to do something specific to qualify for this??

✦✦✦ Betnomi.com US Presidential Election 2020 | Counter Offer + CASH BACK 30%

Nothing needs to be done for cashback since it will be automatically credited to your balance once the result is final, I ask this question on there support before I made a bet to trump because there is no info on how to claim cashback during my bet.  Cheesy
3875  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Betnomi.com - Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: November 07, 2020, 01:46:14 PM
I didn't noticed that, I was not literally reading most of the Terms of Service on a casino and just using the search (Ctrl+F) and look for the word KYC, PASSPORT, ID. Could the Betnomi team explain this so it makes clear for everyone?

This might help you to answer your question. @Betnomi, atleast fixed your TOS or put this info in your Faqs so that customer will not be confused about this issue. This question already comes whenever your answer about this got flooded already. Atleast put it on your ANN thread since this is a crucial information that your customers need to know first before they use your casino.

Welcome back Betnomi, now your website is quite cool, and more games, it's interesting to play.

I have a few questions and I hope you enlightened me.

1. Is there a minimum deposit before you can avail the 300% Deposit Bonus + 300 Free Spins?
2. When I was reading on the FAQ I saw there's mentioned ViaBet website, what is ViaBet?
3. It is necessarily to us as a user to pass our National ID number as a prrof that we are eligible to use your website? It seems that is consider as a KYC.

1. There is no minimum deposit for the bonuses.
2. On FAQ page, we are yet to update all FAQ's and terms and conditions. Viabet is a brand of our parent company.
3. No, you do not need any form of KYC or National ID for withdrawals. We may require this only in the event of our mega jackpot winnings.

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Birth Date
  • Gender
  • Country
And also these two while accessing the site from phone.
  • Passport Number
  • Mobile Number

Looks like providing all information is mandatory there inorder to make withdraw. Isn't it something like KYC? Though they are not asking for selfie with government id or something else. But I think user won't like to provide those information at a casino which they are asking for. Or user might input false information to pass the process.

The Passport Number & Mobile Number number form in mobile was displaying simply in error. That has been removed now.
Regarding Date of birth and country, these are mandatory regulatory requirement to verify users age and make sure they are not playing from restricted territories or under age.
As for firs name and last name, its simply for risk management reason. Again, we do not ask for KYC for withdrawals. KYC maybe require in the event of jackpot winnings which are currently well above 1 million dollars.

The MGM Grand in Las Vegas had to reconfigure it’s original entrance, a large gold walk-through lion, as Chinese high rollers were avoiding it, believing walking through beasts to be unlucky before gambling. - Source

What an insane belief from a Chinese High roller though. They are betting millions of dollars each night and I'm quite amazed on how they give importance on there beliefs about luck.  Cheesy

Don't be surprise about there tradition. Chinese don't have 4th floors and 13th floors on there buildings same as the directions of the there should be pointed on the right direction or else it is a bad luck so this simple statue is not a big surprise for me. There whole life depends on there beliefs in luck since most of them are businessman. I known many Chinese friends that stricter on following this ritual and they are dependent on it.

3879  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin chart through a different lens. on: November 05, 2020, 12:37:46 PM
Line is the simplest way to determine the price trend of a certain but the reason why expert use it frequently is because the data it provides is very limited compared to candlestick that can give signal and pattern. The normal candle is a bit hard to predict a trend especially if the price is volatile. The only benefits you can get using line is determining the price in the long run which you stated above but for a normal trader that the normal trading stuff, it will not gonna work.

I recommend to used a Heikin Ashi candle. It's not sensitive on price volatility and you can see clearly the trend using same as using line on the graph.
3880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Negative House Edge Crypto Casino on: November 05, 2020, 05:22:43 AM
I have read tons of threads regarding this notion of doing a casino with a Negative House Edge, and of course it makes sense NOT to create one, right? Unless you wanted to give away free crypto to users, in the long run the house would be losing crypto coins.

Now, I really6 thought about this for more than a year now and I think I found the only way that a Negative House Edge Crypto Casino can work.

So, I made the first casino with negative house edge and I was wondering what you guys thought.

Obviously, the goal is to promote the use of the Phreess token, and for people to earn Phreess in the long run playing on the casino.

If you mean negative house edge in a way that you give token on every bet and net deducting any fee on each round then is same with the casino on EOS dapps. The way they mine there token is through betting on there casino. They don't have house edge and the only way they are making profit is when player lose or when there token gain value through speculation of there casino performance. This is a cool idea but the only problem was the competition on this business. House edge is not an issue anymore these days for players. Players always choose the casino that offers cool games, events and giveaways so better consider that too on your upcoming casino.
