3881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: February 04, 2020, 02:50:38 PM
i think some people enjoy the process of the bet, and some others just want to see the result. A good example is the sports bets, some games are long as hell and people enjoy all the process. But as you say. some games like lotto looks boring, but people enjoy the idea of get a huge win.
3882  Local / Español (Spanish) / Re: [TUTORIAL] Proceso completo - Como recuperar una cuenta robada o perdida - on: February 03, 2020, 10:00:02 PM

3883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why exactly 21000000 BTC on: February 03, 2020, 09:51:15 PM
Quote
6 blocks per hour
* 24 hours per day
* 365 days per year
* 4 years per cycle
= 210,240
~= 210,000

Sum all the block reward sizes:

50 + 25 + 12.5 + 6.25 + 3.125 + … = 100

Multiply the two:

210,000 * 100 = 21 million.

That explains it...

21 million sound as a small number for some people, but it has a trick, if you focus in the number of zeros after the dot then you will realize how big is the number and how 21M of bitcoin really could be: 2,100,000,000,000,000 units called satoshis.

So, 21M is a tricky number.

if I had the opportunity to buy a ticket I would certainly be part of it. even though I'm almost afraid of winning Grin

I know that feeling... Is like winning a big prize but a big problem at the same time. The first year is free, but after that, this plain can ruin lives.

Most of the people who win big prizes at the lottery ruin their lives, is funny because we think a lot of money can solve or life but big amounts of money come always with big problems and responsibility.

freiexchange is the best exchange for CLAM right now hands down.  Kiss  you a turkey<<<

https://freiexchange.com/market/CLAM/BTC

Is that your exchange? never heard of.

This exchange is started nearly 3 years ago but volume is very low and pairs also not enough so just because of this its not popular.

FreeBitcoins XChange has a decent number of CLAMS for sale these days.

It would be nice to see the same volume for buy orders. That's the problem, it's easy to buy more than 1000 clams, but if we want to sell we could easily crash the markets -66% with only 0.15 btc in clams.

The exchanger is growing and i know is a process that can take a long time. But at least this keeps the coin alive.

^ Nah, it is impossible to abuse the faucet or giveaways. Because there is a minimum amount before you can withdraw your earning even that is from faucet or giveaways that luckybit recently has giving 0.0005 BTC to test their site. This is my personal experience to them, I received giveaway to try their site, from 0.0005 BTC it becomes 0.002 BTC after how many times wagering in Plinko. But when I trying to withdraw there is notification pop up on my screen that I need to have a deposit transaction first before I can able to have a withdrawal option. Nevertheless, this kind of feature will never abuse by abusers.

A couple of days ago i was thinking in that feature, users need to make a depo before the withdrawal. since the min withdrawal is 0.002 you already have the balance for it, so you could do a small depo and take out the profit.

Remember that you will get a confirmation mail for the withdrawal, that's why is important to use a ream mail when you open an account.

Nice to see some users multiply the sign up token price.

By the way, yesterday i had a nice run and i want to share it:

Feels great to have a nice win on red back to back.
3887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: February 03, 2020, 03:18:25 PM
Yes, it could be one of the reason why you and also me, want to buy that ticket because we have an assurance that we may buy a ticket and won that price fairly since the president of that certain country is involved actually he is the one selling for the good of his country, so I hope we can buy also.

It seems that they are still not decided about putting the presidential plane in the lottery. It is said that the final decision will be said this upcoming February 15, we still need to wait.

https://mexiconewsdaily.com/news/airplane-raffle-undecided-but-tickets-designed/

Yep, the raffle is just an option, but the president in looking serious about this. So, looks like it will happen.

The fun fact is: The Mexicans will pay double for that plain... The first time while the president buys it without taxes, and the second one with the lotto. It isn't fair. But Mexicans don't see it.

Hi,
Just tips: Why don't make a pro/cons list for each service?

This is a good idea, it would be nice if OP could share with us the good and the bad face of each business.

And i would like to add this forum to the list because there is no better source to get airdrops and some micro earning with new tokens.

3891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter adds Bitcoin emoji when hashtaging #Bitcoin on: February 02, 2020, 03:01:59 PM
Apparently an emoji also appears when you type the BCH and BSV hashtag.

#BCH💩
#BSV💩

^definitely an original joke that I didn't copy from someone on Twitter

LMAO. That was a cruel one...

I can predict in the future we will see a Criptocoins section in the emoji app. Just as we can see flags nowadays there will be one for coins.

But to have BTC emoji in twitter is a nice step  Smiley
3892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin Private Key brute-forcing? on: February 02, 2020, 02:32:56 AM
1. What is it?
2. How does it work?
3. How likely is it that a full length of a private key can be brute-forced?

It just doesn't work, not even quantum computers can break bitcoin by brute force.

You can generate random privatekeys, and a big number of then, but if you make millions or trillions of keys you will be far away from have all the keys.

I will share my brief Bitcoin experience on my twitter: https://twitter.com/timmy_forrest/status/1223643586362822662

I am so grateful for the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency community in general because it has shaped the way that I have developed financial skills. I learned about Bitcoin when I was a kid, and so I got a lot of my foundational skills around Bitcoin and the crypto market.

I've been to cryptocurrency events and was actually surprised at how kind and thoughtful people were.

I love the Bitcoin community and consider you guys/girls family! <3

Nice to see bitcoin has been friendly for you. I have been involved in this environment since 2014 and i have the same feeling as you. Is a great community and a great ambient. All the people around bitcoin like to talk about business and negotiate.

So, let's grow this community   Grin

3895  Economy / Gambling / Re: ➫ ➬ ➫ ➬ LUCKYB.IT ★★★ The legend is back! ★★★ Bigger and better than ever! ★★★ on: February 01, 2020, 04:30:47 PM

I'm not sure that from the perspective of a new player the chatlotto bot you're talking about is better than the faucet. The main purpose for having a faucet is to attract new players rather than reward the already existing players. And the reason faucets are so popular among casinos and players use it is due to its risk-free benefits it comes with

The era of faucet on a gambling site has ended already since few years back IMO, it is not popular anymore and it is not really give good impact for the casino.
There are many other ways to attract new players aside from faucet and I believe any sites has their own ways to do it.
Faucet gives benefit for players indeed, but there were so many abusers of this feature that makes many casinos removed faucet and replace it with something better for both players and the casino.

Luckybit used to have a faucet, but as Josephdd says, hackers keep abusing that source and the site doesn't have another option than close it.

But that's why LB finds another way to remunerate the users, one of them is the chat lotto, another is with the bonus bet and some other ways like btc prizes for each archivment unlocked.
3896  Economy / Gambling / Re: ➫ ➬ ➫ ➬ LUCKYB.IT ★★★ The legend is back! ★★★ Bigger and better than ever! ★★★ on: January 31, 2020, 08:08:09 PM

They have done sign up bonus some time ago, it is more than enough already. Faucet is not needed at all especially if we look at the minimum bet here. Even if they decrease the minimum bet, I do not think faucet will be good. These days, many gambling sites has no faucet as they have removed due to faucet abusers. It is better if there is no users come back because there is no faucet than many users come everyday just for the faucet.
It do have its pros and cons actually but the final decision would be always depend on the team if they would add it up or not.

Luckybit has a chatbot called chatlotto, and it's like a faucet for the users, people who are rolling bets have the chance to be selected by the lotto for the price. This is a better solution than a faucet because the site gives the price for the people who are having fun on the betting board.

But while more he talks about bitcoin more people get involved, that's some good quality spam.  Tongue
3898  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ETH-based descentralized casinos on: January 30, 2020, 06:46:23 PM
With the raise of DeFi and solutions like Pooltogether I wonder how I haven't seen some ETH casinos with good reputation where you can simply connnect your wallet via metamask and play games.

are there solutions like that alreadyor nobody came up with it?

That solution is called 'Onchain' gambling, and isn't a decentralized option because casinos must be a registered business to run under the law. But at least that solution let us bet from our wallet.

A good example of an Onchain game (For bitcoin) is classic.luckyb.it in that site you place a bet sending a bitcoin transaction, and you get a transaction back with your bet result.

...

For the average small user, Linux is becoming sufficient, and probably far more private. Windows is still a much faster start up from computer off.

One of the worst things about Windows is that Microsoft is using it to run your life... at least the life of your computer... by continual, forced upgrades over the Internet.

Cool

Maybe Windows is faster on the start up, but with an SSD difference isn't big at all, we are talking about a couple of seconds.

True, that update thing is annoying, and the long wait to turn off the computer is a crazy waste of time. I remember the old times when trojans and some viruses get injected by updates and is crazy to see how windows give zero fucks and force all the updates without asking.
