3981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty thread with self moderated lock on: July 31, 2020, 01:19:08 PM
No need to pay too much attention to the topic of moderation, you should care about the quality of the project and the bounty manager. If it is a good project and a reputable manager in this market then I believe you should participate in it without doubt.
What matter most is the project itself and how they will going to pay, sometimes bounty managers have no say in payment when the project fails so it's better to have escrow if the bounty manager is not yet established or does not have any trust rating to risk. If they are old in forum and seems to know the project pretty well and know how to manage then it's good to give it a try especially now that it's hard to be accepted in campaigns that are paying weekly.
3982  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Saving Plan on: July 31, 2020, 11:59:38 AM
The price is moving above $11k now so are you still buying? As I saw in OP you mentioned you are going to buy/save as much as possible until $11k .. so what's your plan now mate? I also feel like you should buy now because while I might sound idiotic but we might be touching our all time high price very soon before anyone realize what just happened.
We will never know when the right time to buy so if we feel that it will still rise which always depend on many circumstances we should trust our instincts and then just monitor it, whether to buy more or to stop loss. I plan on buying last March but then I thought it might still fall since quarantine been announcing everywhere so I wait for some drops but then it rise and rise until I wasn't able to buy much since I spend somewhere my extra money.
3983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not fall for all DeFi HYPES on: July 31, 2020, 08:22:54 AM
Lots of victims have invested in DeFi projects, where a lot of scammers have been used, right as said in the opening post.
Don't be influenced by all the DeFi hype, which many investors ultimately neglect to analyze first and become a buying FOMO
DeFi projects at peak prices. Finally, the project is a price dump, we can lose the capital we have.
Always be careful on where to invest, we are already done in ICO scams and probably learned our lessons, it's just DeFi really do have potential to help the Financial systems, some companies are already been there long before this hype like Maker, Bancor and Idex and some might have more potential. It's good to invest as they are evolving but many scammers will sure to go in this platform too that's why we need to be careful.
3984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how to win at casino on: July 31, 2020, 07:20:01 AM
Its quite funny TBH that a gambler whom he stated that he gambled so many times already is asking for a strategy that can help him to win in casinos.

If there is then the losers right now in gambling must be low or at least there are some casinos who went bankrupt already Cheesy. I don't want to gamble because I don't want to lose my money but if there is a strategy that is working in gambling 100% please share it here so we can be millionaires Cheesy
If there is 100% strategy then I'm willing to pay to know this, actually I also purchase some online tutorials or course for counting cards and some YouTube clips on other gambler strategy,  it's too many to memeorize and it amaze me when they applies it but it reguire practice and budget to master.  I didn't apply it up to now since I'm allotting my money to open a small business I hope by that time lick is also with me.
3985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Record Revenue for Blockchain Gaming Company During Pandemic on: July 31, 2020, 03:29:29 AM
During the pandemic, I am one of those who are grateful to have gambling, previously it is a perfect combination during a lockdown as well as almost all people are staying inside while playing online gaming, therefore, I think there is a positive impact of the casino during community quarantine and obviously it is especially enjoyed by all players, and the boring situation is minimized, so I proudly represent that gambling is useful.
In times that many are at home and looking for ways to earn, those who are not particular in trading will definitely choose to do gambling, or by that time that crypto is also down and it's hard to do trading then gambling and creating a hobby is an option. I tried to focus on trading those time, do Enroll in some online class but quarantine is too long that we wanted somehow to enjoy while having the possibility to gain profit. While profit is unsure, gambling can atleast make us win when we are lucky.
3986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BetKing sponsors kenya football , is it a publicity stunt ? on: July 31, 2020, 02:22:34 AM
It is either they are trying to fix their image/reputation by doing such stunt or they want to make people believe that they have funds to sponsor and in the end itvs just a cover up of their plan to scam people's money. I have found a scam site where they made people believe that they are not scammer and it is just a cover up to scam more.
They already did scam before and just by looking their profile here in the forum onne will not believe them anymore, they scam their investors and getting attention publicly this time of Pandemic can get them more visitors or players. Sponsorship can bring good or bad result to them as people may invest or dig in their profile or background and will find out they are scammers yet they will spend money for sponsorship.
3987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Space Race Wagers? on: July 31, 2020, 12:50:23 AM
I am surprised that there are these kinds of gambling that gambles to the unknown and uncertainties of man's achievements. China has been very active in it's space program and other developed countries has been keen to join in the space race as well, like India and U.A.E. We will be seeing more from the developed nations in the next fifty years and I am pretty sure we will send men to Mars within the century.
The betting part will depend on every countries dedication to push through this idea, it will be a long term plan and study making since they are really seeing the idea of living or using Mars, who ever do it again first will depend on each countries advanced technology, team and their government support. If only I knew someone from the team or will the propose time line is nearly feasible I will surely bet in these race.
3988  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BULL RUN on: July 30, 2020, 03:15:10 AM
There is always a bull run after the halving. Bitcoin has a four year repeating trend.
No real reason for the bull run apart from scarcity generated by the halving.

Yes, there is also this repeated cycle, the four year repeating trend. But it's getting harder each cycle though as the price is really need to go up from it's last all time high so say that we're in a bull run and the price is going on parabolic rise.

For altcoins, Eth2.0, Cardano's Shelley release and the whole Defi and staking features.
Though ETH 2.0 still not yet confirmed when to happen, the DeFi hype is making a trend as well the BTC legality in many countries being hear in their courts help in these bull run. All that matter is cryptocurrency is still gaining attention despite recession and Pandemic. People interest in advancement is having a change in people who doubted it before and to those who almost give up after the drop many altcoins get.
3989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are back with another trick. Be alert!!! on: July 29, 2020, 01:19:32 PM
This is a new yet old trick but if someone sees this as their first time seeing the offers, they might fall to the scammer's bait. They are taking advantage about the current situation of BTC price in the market because when something like this is going on, there are more people search about BTC and any other things related to cryptocurrencies. The good thing is, we have some people like the OP who are fast to warn people about this kind of thing to prevent further damage by the scammers.
Many will create more tricks especially these time of Covid, we should be alert as they wil keep doing it in different method and ways to scam many users, they may create more account or websites to keep them doing it. Many giveaways event were used before but still many people wanted to be victimized even not having Pandemic many were victims hoping they can really get something from those giveaway, thanks OP for reminding again of this method used by scammers.
3990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Become Universal Money? on: July 29, 2020, 08:46:01 AM
It is possible that  someday all country accept Crypto Currency and it will become Universal Money?

In my opinion, the government is difficult to legalize crypto as a currency or payment instrument. But the Government can allow transactions using cryptocurrency because cryptocurrency is peer to peer. The government already has various financial instruments including the Central Bank making it difficult for the government to make crypto as a legal payment instrument other than the currency issued by the government
Some government are making cryptocurrency hard to deal with, while impact they can still legalize it with some limitations. In my country it's not yet legal but it's not also illegal. There is already a registered exchange for trading, a wallet for transfer via online or banks, a Bitcoin ATM and a bank accepting it for deposit without any issue from the government, they just require KYC for registration. I guess that's what only matter for them to make it legal unless people really don't want to do KYC that becomes a problem.
3991  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should there be any age limit of Gambling? on: July 29, 2020, 04:15:39 AM
There should be an age limit because gambling is not a simple game, it has a money involve.

In kyc of gambling sites 18 above is the ideal player who can gamble. Usually at this age a person already have a job and capable to gamble using his own money.

Minors should be prohibited on playing until they are old enough to understand the risk and the consequences of being a gambler.
There is a need for guidance of the parents to see where the money they give to their children goes at this age and era. Many online sites are involved money but not requires KYC that those minors can easily use it without penalty. Websites that involves money and registered in their country may be able to do KYC, but many of gambling sites now didn't requires KYC or they only do when it involves a large sum of money to withdraw. But in terms of depositing some didn't requires it.
3992  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Official Bitcoin Calculator Release on: July 29, 2020, 02:23:58 AM
Wow, this is great information and a good program as well. Having a bitcoin calculator is really important especially for the beginners of the crypto world. I will wait for the release of the application in android which is more comfortable to use compared to the website. Whenever I want to compute my earnings in bitcoin I always search conversion of USD or PHP to the bitcoin and we all know that it will need internet before w access it so if the application will release er don't need to use the internet just to compute our earnings.
Internet is in need for conversion since fiat currency and crypto changes every now and then, what's good in their program is we will be able to see we're exchange we can trade better our money to lessen the fees or an additional option when coins.ph is not available or when in maintenance.
Since its still a work in progress OP might add PHP soon.
3993  Economy / Economics / Re: Cash Is Trash on: July 29, 2020, 01:59:37 AM
Cash is not a trash at all because it is still acceptable by many but if you look at its value, then we can say that cash is far behind gold, bitcoin and stock market as well. Those people who are laughing don’t have any kind of investment and didn’t realize its importance. If you want to be beaten by the inflation then go focus on your cash but if you want more, use gold and cryptocurrency.
Cash is not a trash especially to the poor and developing countries, many are dying and unnoticing or risking their lives to earn those cash that they can use in this Pandemic. Even there are Pandemic they still keep going in prone areas with high risk of infection just to earn those cash like in my country where bitcoin and even online banking is not yet popular. Many still depend on cash and we hope that government will change their heart in it and tries to adopt advance changes.
3994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is going up day by day.. on: July 29, 2020, 12:56:39 AM
indeed the price of ethereum will always rise when a large project that can influence the price of ethereum but I doubt the increase in ethereum prices at $ 1000 is very difficult to achieve, so I think the maximum ethereum price will rise to the $ 500 figure and the increase is already very difficult.
While there are still no announcements of new projects using ethereum platform or development of Ethereum 2.0, its unlikely to rise to that point of without no other news. These days increase of ETH might be only reason of rise of BTC price since BTC is planning to legalised in some country, the increase from BTC can affect some top alt for increase and might lower others.
3995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How fair is Provably Fair? Do you verify every bet as a gambler? on: July 28, 2020, 02:37:04 PM
That is a great topic and I thought most of us already know this since we are always talking about these sites being Provable Fair.

Did some checking on the sites told by the OP, following the instructions and it appears just like the OP said. Either way, this is the site where I first read about this. I don't know if anyone here check this site out but it might be of help for you guys.
OP's effort in explaining how it works is very nice even it's too long, he explained the process and what and whys of doing it. You're reference will also be helpful to those who are lazy in readi g at the same wanted a list of casino's who offering the provably fair in their games, might bookmark it for future reference since their list is still few and they might add more in the future.
3996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What strategies do you use to make profits or to make your portfolio grow? on: July 28, 2020, 11:13:12 AM
I am in the long term. I don't get into projects to projects to expand my portfolio. I'm not productive with that strategy and that's why I've stayed to the traditional and conventional method of "buying low, sell high". That strategy works perfectly for me and it has lessened the stress and risk that I am taking. If you have a hard time getting a strategy that works for you, try them and see in what strategy fits your activity in trading. You can be an active daily trader or be simply a holder, and only trade if you are about to sell.
I also prefer long term in some of my alt coins especially those projects that are still developing, however those projects way back 2018 some mostly failed that I need to stop loss. It is a lesson learned to still keep monitoring projects may they be popular this time or not since they may no longer profitable in the long run. There are different strategies and it will only depend  on what will work well with us or better create one that will suit to our trading style.

3998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dont sell off because of the period on: July 28, 2020, 12:46:51 AM

Yes, if for the time being it's better not to sell first because the price of Bitcoin and Ethereum is in good condition and always has a good increase, and I think people who don't have the chance to buy BTC and ETH when the price is still cheap will feel a little sorry to currently.
Indeed for BTC and ETH it is very good to hold now, but not for other coins. I see a lot of coins falling today because Bitcoin dominance continues to increase. This is where the Crypto market situation in the Bullish period, but only for top coins, like BTC, ETH etc.
BTC and ETH keeps rising, if we were able to buy this lockdown or when quarantine happens, we aalready earn a lot. I already sold most of my alts that time and only secure some BTC and XRP and Im glad I made to buy some and no plan of selling yet but keep monitoring it might also fall to much after this sudden rise.

I don't believe ETH will be able to release 2.0 this year. no official announcements from the project team. Who said that Ethereum's growth has some reason?
May it be because of BTC is rising too, and those who weren't able to buy BTC  they acquired ETH. In my country also there are companies who keeps using ETH this Pandemic.
3999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: July 27, 2020, 02:05:10 PM
I have never really understood facebook/twitter campaigns. Participants always have other bounty hunters as friends/followers so the propagation of information only reaches bounty hunters mainly, not investors. I don't see the value in those campaigns other than I guess constant presence on these platforms. I understand translation campaigns as the project is able to reach different audiences, as well as the blog/video campaigns. What hurts the most from executing a bounty is the price after the token is listed on an exchange (if it even reaches this stage) because bounty hunters will sell for anything as they didn't invest their money, they invested their time so they want to see that time have some value. Investors, in the other hand invested money and would like that money to increased in value in time. Two different mindsets that are very opposite in my opinion.
Prices tends to be low upon listing on exchange of somecoins since people have different goal in such project. If those bounty hunter were also a investor or trader they will somehow keep it till the project fulfill their plan or limits, however this sometimes not happen as many bounty hunter even some investors who bought the coin in early stage with bonuses already withdraw their shares.
Bounty hunting alone is really not enough it was just an add factor for spreading words or references that the project is somehow being talked. There's a need for proper marketing and building of their names thru their own company.
4000  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Escrow is a must to avoid disappointment on: July 25, 2020, 08:03:03 AM
You are right that all bounty managers ask for escrow so that payments can be guaranteed, but out there are also bounty managers who are selfish. If he manages a project he is paid but does not care about the participants.
So the fund that should be escrow is should be for the participants to guarantee the payment of the participant, bounty managers will be paid but if they will not let his participants get their rewards or payment, the result will be negative on his side since he will be tagged as bounty manager who didn't pay, before when ICO became too popular there are plenty of bounty manager but since it's not on their control whether the team will really play they are to blame, sadly that times escrow were not yet popular so we must find now projects that really do provide escrow, especially if they are set to pay only after the success of ICO.
