41  Economy / Economics / Re: Making use of Bitcoin as payment in our business. on: May 06, 2022, 02:22:11 AM
Making use of "Bitcoin" as another means of exchange In our daily business is my own opinion to improve our business strategy, if customer doesn't have money to pay after purchasing goods and any other business transaction, we should try and implement the means of Bitcoin payment and through this our business will improve in market and it will promote our business both in local and international way because the present century we are now is century of cryptocurrency...so my fans what do you suggest on my opinion!!!!

I have a business with two branches however I did not use this strategy of yours using BTC as a payment. It is because my customers doesn't know a thing about crypto currencies, they pay through our local currencies. The only chance they could pay me is through our online shop, it is listed on a known site. The products that we sell are listed there and they have the option to pay and it includes crypto currencies using our local wallet that supports most known crypto currencies like BTC, ETH, XRP, SLP, etc. The use of Crypto is in good par with online business, but I never have encountered customers even once that pays with it, so that means they do not know about it or doesn't have crypto currencies, or they could've have it but chose to hold it.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Looks like markets are crashing ! this is it ...it's the big one ! on: May 05, 2022, 09:17:03 PM
Well when i awake from my bed i saw a lot of red candle in my portfolio, but still i did not panic because i saw that the droping of bitcoin price is not big as what i have been expected, still the price is above 30k$ and that can still rise back again to 45k$ i will going to closed my eyes and leave my portfolio if the bitcoin price drop below 30k$ , i think this was the time that we need to stay calm and buy the dip enjoy the big opportunity.

If ever it hit 30k then it is a chance for the people who wants to buy it low, so one must grad that opportunity and add more to his portfolio, this recent crash not new and we've seen this for how many times already. Only the new comers will be affected if their hearts are weak to see something like this. If it gets lower than 30k, I bet you are right that we should do the it again, closing portfolio and coming back again months to years for the market to come back.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 05, 2022, 05:14:48 PM
It was almost two months hard earned money. Got busted in few minutes. I don't know why I wasn't able to have me within the limits. Just started with a $3 bet, but it went upto $98 and ended with empty wallet. This is completely unlucky, because every bets were placed to roll above 20 which means the winning probability is quite high. Anyhow I wasn't in control and I didn't follow the rule gamble what you can afford to loss. It was a money saved to repay a debt. Now once again the interest needs to be paid so to manage the debt for some more time. Unlucky me  Sad Sad Sad

Good for you that you haven't gone to somewhat in worst conditions after losing. I know someone who loses and take a loan to play again hoping to win it back, however end up losing again with additional debts to pay. I didn't knew people could be like that because of gambling addiction. Also this man is borrowing money from everyone in his family including close friends, with no second thoughts. I don't know if 6k USD is a big money for you but in my case it would really hurt me to lose it in an instant, and that is the case for this man I know.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think we should do with our investments in times of uncertainty? on: May 05, 2022, 02:57:47 PM
Quote
While it is true that no one is a fortune teller, the investor has no choice but to invest with an expectation. From analyzes and appraisals, assumptions arise. And, then, from the assumptions, the purchases or the sales arise. The optimist thinks that the price of his favorite asset will rise in the future. And the pessimist thinks exactly the opposite. The strategist instead prepares for both scenarios. What if the price goes down? What happens if the price goes up? What you want is to grow financially with the greatest possible stability.
In my opinion when we talk about cryptocurrencies it is not known what can happen, it is really uncertain that prices fluctuate day by day, since in addition to being very high one day it can be very low, it should be noted that there may be crypto assets that people tend to follow , which have a lot of movement in the market (this almost always remains at a resistance) but in the same way these markets remain in a very inconstant ups and downs.

From my point of view there are two types of investors, the first is here that when they realize that the cryptocurrency is in a bearish state, they feel fear and prefer to sell their investment completely, this either generates little profit than expected or at worst the cases lose what was invested, and the second is the visionary who, when the cryptocurrency is in a bearish state, buys and waits for a bullish state to sell at a high price and obtain very good profits…. In my case it would be the second since I consider myself a winner and as they say "he who does not risk does not win".

A few days ago I talked about this a bit but I didn't go into depth as such and I wanted to see what you guys thought. What would you do in uncertain times?
Information extracted from: https://es.cointelegraph.com/news/how-to-redesign-our-portfolio-in-uncertain-times

It depends on the coin you invested on, if it is a new project then I wouldn't mind selling it all to avoid loses, even it doesn't give profits. Furthermore if you buy more at times of uncertainty, then you must be sure that the coin you are following can recover itself in due time. Bitcoin is an example, as we knew that it has gone to almost 3k USD after hitting ATH, but then look at it now, it is still on top traded and held by most people who are here in the crypto industry.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the reasons behind banning cryptos? on: May 05, 2022, 12:56:02 PM
Some countries have already banned cryptos. But i am not sure behind the reasons. Could you please share your thoughts on the reasons of banning cryptos?
Regards

There lots of reasons, and one is that the governments cannot benefit from it, means that they can't tax it and gain profits. Another is that it can be used to run illegal activities, mainly sell drugs and other things that aren't purchasable in the normal markets. Others says that it is a cause of scam, people lost money in this investment and the culprits are hard to find and sue them, even though crypto isn't born yet there are already scam accusations in other investment, sad but true.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New project success on: May 04, 2022, 09:06:09 PM
Well, idk but I really wanna ask this question here, as we all are seeing lots of new alt crypto roaming around the crypto market. what are the factors needed for successful crypto projects, does anyone know?

There are some projects that you see right now are still on the run while they were created more than years back. They have so many followers and believers, even today it is increasing. A project should be legit, not a ponzi scheme, with good devs in it that has passion of their work. Just see how Eth is, even higher gas rates hitting them but still used by all. They keep on upgrading and updated people nonstop of how will it be in the future. A good project has utilization on a daily basis, not stagnant and it is moving and traded by people, thus liquidated to the community. These are just some simple factors that some successful projects has, and there lots of them.
47  Economy / Gambling / Re: Provably fair RTP ? on: May 04, 2022, 05:53:57 PM
We wouldn't want to trouble ourselves to check and calculate after we play but I think there are reputable game providers that wouldn't cheat on their players am I right? since if the player proved that they have lower RTP than what they advertise they will only back fires to them and lose players.

The majority of game providers is reputable since they have all software license for many years. I believe the OP has a valid point but I doubt if game provider can give that details since they will need to show the code of there game just to show everything is transparent since that’s the only way for us to verify if they are using a proper RTP per bet. Game provider is centralized and not an open source unlike most of the decentralized games that based on hash seed for the result. I would really like this idea but this means that there work can be copy easily.

Even if they are reputable we are still unsure whether they deliver the right RTP or not since only them can verify it. So it is either you trust them or not that is up to you, that's why I only play sports betting and in-house casino games to make sure that it is fair and I can verify it.

ya.ya.yo!

Is there other way to verify it without showing the codes? Like 3rd party or government agency to prove that they deliver right RTP? I hope there could be one so that no worries in behalf of the players. Maybe that way they won't lose much and even get more regulars on their site.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: rig build on: May 04, 2022, 12:14:05 PM
You should definitely not go with a too cheap PSU just to save a few bucks. If your PSU craps out, your whole system will be at risk. You should go with a well known, sturdy brand. Those no brand, cheap PSU’s will bring you nothing but trouble. Remember the quote: “I am not rich enough to buy shitty products.”

This is true, go with known brands to avoid further issues. I have been using gigabyte and sea sonic since then, currently I am mining with different cards both red and green mixed and no problems regardless PSU issues. For proc, intel celeron will do the job, I am using it also with an asrock BTC pro 13 slots, 8 gb ram installed and no problems at all.
49  Economy / Gambling / Re: How to get Free games in china? on: May 03, 2022, 09:17:44 PM

A few years ago, when i could play real money on Pokerstars in china , its so difficult  to withdraw,
I need to sell my usd to other players,  a smart guy invent an application named”poker master ”
People could creat free club and invite friends play poker(gamble) together

How do you bet? Is it same as Casino in here? Is there a midman or an escrow that holds your funds if you play with your friends on that app or club your into? I think it is too risky, even online Casino these days are regulated by the government. Is that somehow illegal? I never have experienced something like that online, but in real life it is possible as you can see the players who are with you on the table playing poker. Your ideas have so many flaws and it needs professionals on that field to build such app, and nobody would take that job unless you pay them.
50  Economy / Economics / Re: Share your Money management strategy on: May 03, 2022, 08:05:09 PM
I do not take loans as much as possible, as it will make you even poorer. Just do what you can with what you have. It is been like these for me just for how many years. Maybe I borrow money but without interest, from my family and few trusted friends but never from a loan shark including banks and other lending services. We've got to stay away from debt, it will be a hindrance in our goals, it will shackle us. Don't buy things that you don't need, for example super branded clothes. Name it all, it should be enough to wear simple and clean clothes, if it is just for impressing people then keep the hell out of it. Do some business, things that you love is a great start. Learn something new until you will find the one that will make you stay and invest money on it. Successful people work their asses from different kinds of jobs until they've found their passion job in life. I have been in a situation with a single dime in my pocket, and it is frustrating but I never gave up until I have made it to where I am right now.
51  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain Trust? on: May 03, 2022, 04:38:51 PM

Do you think it's a big advantage for the new casino that they have a bounty manager to be part of the team, we have a good lineup of reputable managers here.

Very much likely, it is a powerful strategy to use refutable, trusted and pioneering bounty managers here. These managers are serious about their work, and wouldn't let their reputation at stake so they would make you feel  on how much the casino is safe to use. They've done this a lot of times and casino's won't let their business go out of hand if some new random and unknow person manage their promotion in this forum. It would be a risk for them, and you could also see how well the casinos now are, when managed by these kind of BM. There are still that are up even tho years have already passed, this shows that it is very effective.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Am I Wrong on: May 03, 2022, 03:49:27 PM
Today was a crazy day with ETH. Like the above poster said it was the BAYC NFT and the transactions fees were nuts. I think at one point it was like 4000 GWEI and something like $70M worth of ETH burned today alone due to these transactions.

People are saying they were handled poorly and could of been some gas savings if they did the transactions a little different however it was done in a poor way and so much ETH was wasted on fees alone today.

Good for miners I guess.
It was a bit over 6000 gwei lol, something like this will always happen once in a blue moon, every time a popular project plan to introduce a NFT there will be a gold rush and the price will spark up madly, its a shame that this doesn't stay around for a long time, my rig was even off at the time .

It is better that you don't turn off your rig as much as possible for a brief moment like these. It is once in a blue moon, or we will never be able to experienced it again. I missed those days were mining is everything to me. So in order for us to see something like these, another ape nft should be launched, or may better than that.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Keep or sell? on: May 03, 2022, 03:02:26 PM
What can I mine with 8 pieces of GTX1060 3GB graphic card right now? Or I should just sell them and move on? Also is there still a chance to mine Ethereum Classic using 3GB of VRAM memory? Keep and find a new coin to mine or sell and keep my money.

If you have your ROI back and have free electricity, I would continue to mine, but you aren't half way there, and you have to pay your electricity out of mining, then I would recommend to sell them before it will be cheaper than now. Ethereum is going to POS so you better hurry to disposed them. I have 6gb cards but still managed to mine but I am thinking of selling them also because of eth migration. The miners will be scattered in different minable coins if that happens and we won't have any chances of competing to those big farms.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the World Feed Itself? Historic Fertilizer Crunch Threatens Food Security on: May 03, 2022, 01:33:08 PM
Food prices are going up and there's nothing we can do about it.
The farmers will find ways to optimize their production costs and efficiency, but the food prices won't get cheaper. We just have to find a way to survive.
There's lots of untouched good soil in my country, but the farmers don't want to use it,because the agricultural property is divided into multiple small parts and the government isn't providing enough financial incentive for them to rent and use that land.
Many countries in Africa and Latin America will have a hard time feeding their growing population.
I can't figure out a fast and effective solution to this problem."Food immigration" might become a thing in the upcoming decades.

In some cases where winter is present in their season, they need trades from different places of the world. Maybe they will survive but for how long? Good thing I lived in a tropical country, which we only have rainy and or sunny season. As for fertilizers, local farmers here are using any methods to keep their soil fertile if it is not, using decomposed vegetables to animal dung. The water supply is also great so we can barely manage to survive even those fertilizers' price would sky rocket. Most of our soil here are fertilize naturally, even backyards do have their own mini farm. In my family's case we have acres of land in our mothers name and the soils are great with rivers beside it. It was a coconut plantation back then until pest have eaten them, so they are most rubbers but I am planning to convert them to mangos or other trees that are fruits like avocados and such.
55  Economy / Economics / Re: How Much Garden You Would Need to 100% Survive On on: May 02, 2022, 04:59:42 PM
This is a good source for starters and compute necessary needs to start growing your foods. World War is possible and we could imagine food getting scarce so we better get ready before it really happens. We have more than 200 sq feet of garden, our back yard is full of greens. My father graduated in college of Agriculture and he started farming months ago. We have so many vegetables at the back yard and already started harvesting it and directs to kitchen for cooking. It is a nice feeling when you are eating the foods you grow. As of now we are planning to grow more and planning to plant avocado trees and mangoes. We just have to be patient, and make it possible with hard work. We hardly use any fertilizers, all we have is free animal dung and banana peels and others. Water is also abundant, especially this season which is rainy, we don't have to water them and have it easy.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What is this video card? on: May 02, 2022, 02:27:46 PM
https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-reportedly-testing-900w-graphics-card-with-full-next-gen-ada-ad102-gpu
TDP 900Watt

In fact, there is another full-fat AD102 SKU with 900W TGP, 48G 24Gbps GDDR6X, 2*16pin and higher frequency.
But no one knows whether it will become an actual product. Because the test board of AD102 has more than two 16pin connectors, so everything is possible
https://twitter.com/kopite7kimi/status/1519182862699823106?

Good heater!

Power connectors look unreal to me, it look like a power connector for Power supply already. I think 6 and 8 pins are totally fine as of now and no need to upgrade to that kind. Well the performance looks great, but how would it be compare to present mining cards? Or are we just seeing a gaming only card in here?
57  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Warriors vs Grizzlies 2nd round discussion on: May 02, 2022, 10:30:21 AM
Now that the 1st round series is officially over.

The game of the Grizzliess vs Timberwolves almost went to game 7, but just like the past games, Memphis are so strong in the 4th quarter and they beat the Wolves again.

So let's discuss the series of the number 2 and 3 in the West.

Warriors vs Memphis.

Who's gonna win the series?

(I'll update the series odds once it's listed)

It is very obvious in my case, I am a warrior fan and I would be betting on them till the very end. I believe in Curry and Thompson domination, before the games started I have always followed their games, hope they would get the Championship this season.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ever heard of this "buy at dip and be rich in the future" on: May 01, 2022, 02:53:42 PM
I did it all month of April. although do not know where the lowest point. I bought AXS, I bought Sol, ftm, luna, bitcoin, avax, all coins that I think have great potential and prices are falling. but today i started to doubt, what i did was right?
after I observed my assets were down quite a lot and it was enough for me to have trouble. I want to ask what did I do wrong? Or is this the right decision?

Buy more, that is the best way to cover up for those short term lost. You just have to be patience, you are true that all those who invested before are now millionaires. It is not late for us, crypto is still developing and you might be regretting things in the future if  you don't fill your bags now. Because if you sell, it is a total lost for you, so better buy at different range of lows.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Will inbe able to safe some power this way? on: May 01, 2022, 04:53:34 AM
If I run all 12 graphic cards on a single motherboard vs using two separate motherboards (6/6) will I be able to safe extra power? A motherboard takes up to 120watt depending on the CPU and gen type that's why I think this is a reasonable question to ask .

Aside from saving power you could also save space, this is recommended if you have the existing mother which can accommodate up to 12 gpu. If you are still planning to buy another mobo to use it for 6/6, better buy it with a close mining frame, a good frame is security for your cards from outside disturbance.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trustable currency on: April 30, 2022, 08:47:33 PM
Bitcoin is in the top position as the coin I trust the most, as long as I've known Bitcoin I've had a lot of results, from weekly trading to long-term investments. ETH and BNB are also alternatives, you can choose some high-end coins to be used as investment media. I can only say Bitcoin is the currency I trust the most, if you have any doubts, there are many other coins you can choose from.

Yes, you are actually right but look at their price, how to invest in BTC these days? advice me some good time to invest in BTC if you really can.

Some predictions says Bitcoin will be going down to 34k USD, and I recommend you to buy this coin, this is far better than any other coin, it's trust you are looking for and I have trust in this coin. This is time of moment is the right time to buy. Then there is Eth, and the other top 10 coins, they have proven their worth so it should fair enough to trust these coins.
