1041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: --< Building your future on the price of Bitcoin >-- on: May 26, 2019, 10:42:44 PM
So many people have experienced the last all time high of a Bitcoin price high above $18 000 in 2017 and they invested loads of money into a dream of a better future, if the price goes back to $18 000 or much higher than that.  Tongue

Now, I am not saying that there is something wrong with having those dreams of making massive profits and funding future projects, because it is still a possibility.

I think the focus should rather be for us to take baby steps to that goal and the way for us to do that is to take small profits when the opportunity presents it self. The concept of buying low and selling high is as old as the mountains, but it is just as affective if you do it more frequently. The Bitcoin price has recovered from the all time low with more than 20% and many people are waiting for it to bounce back to 60% or 80% before they start taking profits again.

If you were one of the unlucky people who bought in at the all time high, you obviously have to wait for the price to recover to your entry price to break even or to make a profit when it pass that price, but there are enough volatility now to get in at a new low price and then taking small profits based on the smaller recovery increments.

If you re-invested at say $5000 and you sold lately at $8000, you could have reduced your precentage loss for the investments that you have done at a buy in price of $18 000. <If you do not want to wait for the $18 000+ price to come around again>

A buddy of mine has done this and he wiped out his potential loss within a few months, by simply buying in low again and selling at more frequent intervals.

Ps. Also remember to spend at least 20% of all the coins you buy, to feed the merchant network and use case for Bitcoin, or it will die as a currency.

I am really using Bitcoin as a payment now, even accepting Bitcoin as a payment also for my business. In the near future if we manage to build our new business of a small restaurant then it will also be a crypto friendly environment. I guess that could help the merchant network and supports the Bitcoin as a currency. I hope some small time business also in my country will follow, that way mass adoption could be accelerated.
1042  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin hit 100k in 2020? on: May 25, 2019, 09:57:04 PM
So is it possible to see Bitcoin price hovering around 100k each by next year and why?

This statement of next year seem unrealistic to me not because bitcoin can not get to $100k in the future but because the prediction is standing on next year. Next year from now is 7 months and January 2020 to December 2020 is one year, so mathematically, we have one year and seven months for 2020 to go away. The timing is what I'm looking at .

Nothing is precise in predicting and speculating, we don't know for sure and anything can happen. It was just cents when it was first introduced, it is 10 years already and look at where we are now. If things get well it could even go beyond what OP is predicting. We are not 100% sure what will happen because as you say we still have 7 months before 2020 and that could be enough time to turn the tables on.
1043  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Cryptogambling - Real Casinos - Perya on: May 25, 2019, 09:43:12 AM
1044  Economy / Economics / Re: Forms of converting cryptocurrencies into cash on: May 25, 2019, 07:11:34 AM
Just like in subject. How do you converting cryptocurrencies into cash? For example in Poland I can convert in so-called bitcoinmat from page shitcoins.club. I don't know how is it in other countries, so please reply. Thanks Smiley

I converted my cash through banks, I have local bank accounts which their firms where partners of our local exchange. It is fast, the moment I withdraw them to my account they get their in just 5 or less seconds. Then I go to town and find the Atm machine get the money, but only 200 dollars per day maximum because it is the limit. When I want to exceed my withdrawals I use other remittance centers like western union or LBC.
1045  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 61-year Old Chinese Grandma Convicted For Stealing Electricity To Mine Bitcoin on: May 24, 2019, 08:42:18 PM
Quote
A Thursday report from China disclosed that the Kaiping District People’s Court of Tangshan City, Hebei Province has sentenced a 61-year-old woman to prison for stealing national power resources for the mining of bitcoin.

https://coinfomania.com/61-year-old-chinese-grandma-convicted-mining-bitcoin/

Just imagine seeing your grandma during holidays and asking, "what's keeping you busy?", and the responded will be, "mining bitcoin" Grin. That will be priceless.  Grin. So for 10 months, this old lady has been 'stealing electricity', but it look closely at the article, it looks like the profit is around $940 only. But she has to pay $1450 + jail time.

I feel sad for her but that was totally cool, a grandma that have put passion on mining bitcoin and even steal the power? Who could have such courage at this moment. Well I mined last year with ether and I kinda feel guilty also because at use the governments supposed power to mine also, that time when I was living with my dad on his barracks because he was top official and I did really have a slight of fear of being caught but no one had, lucky me.
1046  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CoinGecko Adds “Trust Score” to Combat Fake Exchange Volume Data. Can it work? on: May 24, 2019, 02:37:20 PM
I don't know if it will work but doing that would certainly help users around the world. Whenever I check my ether wallet address and saw sudden changes of my portfolios worth I scroll what token or coins did it, I visit and thoroughly check their sites, market place9exchanges) just to see whether it is true because sometimes it was just fake orders that were bought, planning to pump the coin, so it is a job well done for that coingecko.
1047  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will they ever find Satoshi Nakamoto? Make your prediction... on: May 24, 2019, 11:41:46 AM
It is really hard to find people who doesn't want to be found out. Especially people that are open minded and have the intelligence, they are such good hiders that even CIA is having a hard time to crack them down. Maybe if Satoshi doesn't have those million Bitcoin he could show himself to the public, wel that is just a guess.
1048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategy to overcome losses .. on: May 24, 2019, 05:27:22 AM
In the life of every player, there is a common denominator, the Losses, if you are playing in an inspired way and you begin to obtain losses and you retire with a lower balance than you expected, it is logical that many times the mood goes down, maybe there is a little sadness How do you overcome this? What strategy do you use to leave that experience behind and learn from it to come back? Since there are many people who fall into depression and find it very difficult to return.

Particularly, after having this type of experience my brain recreates some movements of bets and mistakes that I made and sometimes I draw good conclusions to avoid falling into errors, apart from which I am going to do some sports so that the bad things go away.

I make my self feel that it wasn't real or I divert myself to another attention like girls and friends. That way I will forgot a part of it on what I had lost earlier and later on totally forgot it. If that did not happen then I will take a rest and go somewhere else nice like the park or where there are crowded people to enjoy the nature.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: sick of high fees Ive moved over to alts on: May 23, 2019, 03:54:28 PM
I used to be in the bitcoin core crowd but after still paying ridiculous fees recently Ive moved over to bch and SV, I Guess this is kind of a rant, but I dont understand who the hell wants to pay high fees to send money to someone.

If it is still lower than the traditional ways of paying or sending money to another part of the world then I guess it is fine. I only buy BTC because I want to double my money or even more, I don't really had a problem with the fees because I rarely send them. Again it is your choice to choose what ever alts you wanna use in alternative to bitcoin just be very careful out there.
1050  Local / Pamilihan / Re: List of Universities Offering NEM Blockchain Courses in the Philippines on: May 23, 2019, 02:10:31 PM
Kalokohan para sa ICCT Colleges. I'm currently studying there right now, and based on the updated curriculum wala pa syang ganyan and I don't think na interesado sila, dahil na din sa lack of good instructors... I'm currently stating a fact about this shitty school, dahil isa sa mga pinaka worst school ito, na-BITAG na din ito dahil sa mga anumalya, and still madami pa din ang Professors na kayang kayang suhulan.

One time, I asked a 3rd year IT student of what languages did she learned, and try to guess its pure basic, Walang kamatayang C++ Language, Visual Basic and a little bit of Java and Python. Up until now ganun pa rin ang kalakaran dito kung kaya naman kung may nais mag aral dito sa ICCT, don't expect to learn from them. Pero kung diploma lang ang habol mo, not bad to kill your 3 whole years of time here.

And let me share you their latest curriculum: Before you view it,  just make sure to ignore my Grades 😂

-T.I.P.
-AMA
-STI

1051  Economy / Speculation / Re: Find out the dangerous zone and the best point to buy BTC. on: May 23, 2019, 05:45:14 AM
It is now easy to predict bitcoin price because of the condition of the market currently. We are seeing many speculation this days from both posting and articles and everyone is pointing to a bullish trend in someday or months to come.

That is why I don't believe in predictions too much because there are tons of predictions, almost all of the crypto users are predictors with different ideas where bitcoin will land. I buy bitcoin whenever I have spare money, I also bought at last ath but that doesn't mean I regret it because I stop my loses already when it was declining. The predictions that only I believe is my own, and what e ver the outcome at the least case will happen I won't be blaming other people aside from myself.
1052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The "how to" of building a gambling site on: May 22, 2019, 06:19:12 PM
There are books on how to build altcoins but I don't see any in-depth guidance on how to build a gambling site.
It seems to be all trial and error.
If you know of any technique or site or forum I would appreciate hearing about it.

There should be lots of knowledge to be learned and that won't suffice I guess. You also need a proper team conducting the project. A solid experience or background with the real time casino gambling sites. I think if there are books about building one I would definitely read it. I was also curious about this topic because I bet those who owns most of the crypto casinos are probably rich. The proof that it does is how would all of the renowned fair and continuously gambling projects are still online until now, and they even fund their signature campaigns for how many years already.
1053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH vs. BNB on: May 22, 2019, 03:46:01 PM
I will still pick whatever case may happen to BNB, I feel like I am much safer and comfortable with ethereum being the second of choice to Bitcoin whenever I convert my fiat to crypto. I am planning to buy about 5 or more eth later this month just to be sure in case it goes back to 1k USD or beyond.
1054  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: STEP TO TAKE WHEN PAYMENT IS BEEN DELAYED BY AN ONLINE CASINO on: May 22, 2019, 05:34:57 AM
That just means that you have already withdrawn the money? I am sure there some blockchain record out of your cash out or transaction ID's. Maybe it was just delayed or in some point the casino have another issue with your account for instance kyc and other security measures. No known online casino would put their name on an edge of the knife with just rumors of withdrawing payouts delays so they sure have their reasons.
1055  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties with limitations pays higher rewards on: May 21, 2019, 11:07:31 PM
RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN A BOUNTY CAMPAIGN = HIGHER PAYOUTS

The limitations can be done in two ways:

1)Quantative — when a max number of participants is set and no one is allowed to join after that.

Example: Max 1000 entrants in a facebook campaign

2)Qualitative — when the requirements are raised up by the bounty managers.

Example: Minimum 500 followers to participate in an article/blogging campaign.
many projects that did not limit the participants because of the large number of participants would influence the promotion of their projects in this case, namely ICO and that also affected google search, which of course was very effective for the implementation of the ICO.

The only problem is that if there no limitations it could lead to the destruction of the project itself. For example the team deceive the participants and paid them with less than half of what they should, the effects will backfire and the participants will talk bad stuffs about the project in the main community channel for example telegram leaving the messages to be seen by the investors resulting on backing on their plan on investing. The crowd should be control as much as possible, another is if the bounty team don't show the total amounts of participants then they could easily manipulate bounty rewards just by saying there are lots of participants but rather they just dummy because there no proofs them being real.
1056  Economy / Economics / Re: Dont believe on sale on: May 21, 2019, 08:59:27 AM
Sales are everywhere. Sale on shoes, bags, shirts, gadgets and everything. Malls and shops use this technique to attract buyers, but you know what?  Do you think you've been discounted a higher price than ordinary? No. Instead of saving 20%, you spend 80% on things you dont really need. This is not economical and most of us are easily lured to it. This is what i hate about people. When there's useless trending items on sale, they buy immediately even on credit cards but if bitcoin drops, they talk negative about it. Normal mindset wants to get temporary attention. Not permanent comfort.

I regret all the things that I bought last year and the year before. Gadgets, like apple that priced so high and yet it isn't what I needed, but it happened already. Now all the things that comes up of my mind are the things what I needed most. I am thinking of buying our own house if I had the money and soon a car for us to go everywhere we want. I limited my spend with shoes already, and instead I buy crypto currencies mainly Bitcoin. Lessons have been learned.
1057  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pinoy takot paren sa crypto-investing? on: May 20, 2019, 09:01:55 PM
1058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The key reason for gambling on: May 20, 2019, 07:54:49 PM
I am just experiencing how it feels like to gamble in an online casino, as of now nothing compares it, rather than going out personally I would just sit here relax and play anonymously. I don't have any gambling friends to hangout therefor I chose this method. Maybe if ever I encounter some buds I will go out again for there is a lot of fun if you have partners in crime.
1059  Economy / Economics / Re: Jobs Created by the Blockchain & Bitcoin on: May 20, 2019, 11:40:03 AM
This is certainly true, ever since I joined the crypto community ita really helped me a lot.  don't have stable job, I only have a small business which I manage. If there are no customers then I don't have income at all. That is why even though I am just idle my at chair I make money with new projects in blockchain. I use the opportunity and earn even though a little but it pays my free time. I don't know for sure what would I become if this job creating community is gone, maybe I am back to basics and learn new things of living again, so far we should make the most out of it.
1060  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Earn BTC Through Protein Folding on: May 20, 2019, 07:01:49 AM
