is this position still open? Want to try web dev post but not sure if I am up to the criteria cos I am a fresh graduate.

Yes, it is still open. Please contact chrysophylax for further instructions.

Just to ReCap ...

theSITE is our WebSite which contains all components - such as theSHOP.

theSITE is currently under WordPress and theSHOP is based on WooCommerce and a few of the Applications connected (Paid for) to WooCommerce. Themes for WordPress and WooCommerce are also part of the bundle, but We are willing to look at alternatives in either ReDesigning theSITE AND theSHOP - or continuing with what We have for the time being so that our shopping systems can be brought back to Life.

I must personally apologize for the Above with Nicolas and Julian (with Nicolas Commenting the way he did even though he AGREED to continue with us indefinitely), but I WILL say that they are the ones that Created theSITE and theSHOP in it's current state and in My Humble opinion, did a great job at the Time.

Now however, We need to move forward with a bigger and better theSITE and theSHOP, and will require a rethink of how We will do this. I am currently chatting to 6 Entities of various Skills for various areas of design and deployment, and as such, will require to make a decision within the next 9Days as to how We will move forward, and with whom.

The positions are still open currently. @kaya11 - Please contact Me on Skype preferrably.

#crysx #cwi

Sorry to take your time, but I have a busy schedules ahead, disregard my application on this. Thanks for the possible opportunities though.

I know you are a hard working man NotATether, and i really hope you don't get scammed for your work just like me and the previous designer.

As far as I know, chrysophylax is not a scammer (I get a monthly wage), but we are apparently very short on cash reserves because the projects (e.g. store development) did not meet their expected deadlines, which has caused a backlog in payments for everyone.

But the company has illiquid reserves such as gemstones - I saw these in a private Discord chat with him.

is this position still open? Want to try web dev post but not sure if I am up to the criteria cos I am a fresh graduate.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when ETH owns staking is live on: July 17, 2022, 02:17:46 PM

IMHO, it will still be good as it is even it changes from PoW to PoS but honestly, I'd like to see it stay for being PoW. Too many miners that will be affected on it and they'll be dominated by the whales.

Stopped mining already just recently because of sudden drop of prices. I can't afford to pay my bills anymore as the source of my free electricity is gone. Too bad it came to this point however I did  not regretted it at all. It was fun mining at the same time having extra profits. Glad I got my ROI before these migrations is going to happen.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: If inflation is rising, why isn't crypto more valuable now? on: May 16, 2022, 02:09:35 PM
The US Dollar's inflation is on the rise as the pandemic coupled with the Russia-Ukraine crisis have damaged the global economy. Any negative effects on the US Dollar will surely affect other countries' economies, since it's the world's reserve currency. Considering that inflation has increased at a fast pace since the start of 2020, scarce assets/commodities like Gold and Bitcoin should've increased tenfold by now. Yet, Bitcoin is struggling to reach a new All-time-high in price while Gold's been unable to get past $1.9k. In the crypto market, Bitcoin is the one cryptocurrency that moves everything with it. So if Bitcoin goes down, so will the rest of the other coins being traded on the market.

My question is why isn't crypto rising in price if inflation on major Fiat currencies have soared like crazy? Am I missing something here? It's a shame since Bitcoin was long hailed to be a safe-haven asset like Gold. Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

As you look closer, Bitcoin in 2017 is last quarter of the year it was nearly 20k, now inflation hits hard and it is around 30k USD. If you compare them in terms of purchasing power, the difference is not too far and what you can buy with those money you will only have a little bit of now. I was wondering also why is it like this, did bitcoin really is the future that most of us are awaiting for? I guess it should be at the price of a hundred dollars or more at this moment but it ain't giving us hope as we see it.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: Taking loan during high inflation? on: May 15, 2022, 11:00:21 PM
Today I had a meeting with a friend of mine who teaches economics at university.
He believes when the inflation rate rises that's profitable to take a loan even with high interest to buy other assets such as gold, bitcoin, and even real estate. On one side of this theory, we usually suggest people never invest money that they can't afford to lose and don't invest the money that does not belong to them for many reasons. These are golden tips and useful in any market.
But the question is what if you do not own enough money for investing? can you take a loan and invest?
Because if you look deeply into charts of inflation rates in most the countries you can easily understand taking loans even with high interests could be useful and profitable.
Personally, I don't suggest doing this because using other people's money will put me under stress and this can have negative effects on my decisions. What do you think?

We've have taken loans since last year twice already and the outcome was great because we did build a business to generate income. However the pressure is great, you would be waking up early to attend the needs of your customers. Even at night we manage to talk to them for their issues and orders, it is all because we have payments, deadlines to catch, mortgages and salaries of employees. We are still currently paying for our car and house, maybe I can rest easy after these loans will be paid. We have taken the risk but then I am thankful it has come to a success, we have learned a lot and will continue to do so. It is better than sitting or waiting for youe salary on whatever job you are doing, loans are an opportunity only if you put it on investments that will generate profits.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins would you invest $ 1,000,000 in? on: May 15, 2022, 10:31:02 PM
Hi everyone!

We are all partly investors, we are trying to find the token that will bring us good x2x5x10... We will scatter our several thousand in different places with the hope of a good income. Feel free to manage your deposit, take into account risk management, etc.
But the situation is interesting, imagine that things are going well and at one point your deposit is $ 1,000,000.
What would you do and how would you behave? What altcoins would he invest in? Perhaps you would keep in stable positions while waiting for a great situation to enter the market?
What altcoin / altcoins would you choose and what would you invest your million in? Huh

I think the best option now, given the risk-to-return ratio, is:

$NEAR

$FLOW

$DOT

A million dollar crypto investment is suited for Bitcoin and not any other shitcoins out there. It is easy x2, you just have to be patient and wait for it get to 6k USD again and boom there goes your x2. Good example of that is LUNA, look at it right now, if you still have the guts to after seeing what happened then go and make a choice already and see it for your self.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Making more out of your mined coins on: May 15, 2022, 09:30:20 PM
How can one get the best out of the coins we mine? This is a question that come to my mind today, I can hold my coins with ease but I think how about using my coin to get more coin? Since I will be holding for a few years why can't I just find a way to make more like staking or defi yield thing, what do you think? Imagine that I have Millions of eCash coins and I stake for more annually  ? How come anyone haven't think 🤔 about this?.. Same goes to Flux and Ergo, this is also a good option now that bear market is here and mining profit isn't as good as before.

If that's easy to do on your end then you should to it. While other miners tend to sell it because they need to pay the bills, if they are a big mining facility they have workers for sure. They will convert they mined coins to cash, another is maybe to buy more hardware for mining. When I started mining I was aiming for my ROI first, and then when I got already I focus on buying another card with it's profits.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I don't trust Nvidia on: May 15, 2022, 12:38:16 PM
Nvidia is releasing their new graphic cards next week and LHR cards get fully unlocked this week? I doubt that this is a coincidence, its like Nvidia stands to gain a lot from this, is Nvidia the supposed hacker that gave Nicehash the unlock because that's how this looks to me right now, this whole thing is suspicious.

The saddest part is that NH has it, why wouldn't it be someone else aside from this miner app. I've quitted mining in NH long ago and switched to pool. Any ways let's just hope we can grab those new cards at MSRP or else, back to square one finding it first. In the end it is all about money and how to accumulate more, let's just hope we can make money even this kind of things happen, use it in your own advantage.

11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever thought of doing your thesis on Gambling ? on: May 15, 2022, 11:20:18 AM
According to this article, the Dutch Gambling Authority have awarded 4000€ to students for two Gambling Related thesis.
Quote
Leonard Delank, a master’s student at the University of Groningen and Newcastle University, wrote a paper on loot boxes; items that feature in many video games and offer players a random reward.
In his thesis, Delank drew on the theories of 18th century German philosopher Immanuel Kant, who argued that people have a moral obligation to do the right thing.
Ultimately, he came to the conclusion that loot boxes are not ethical. For his paper, the KSA awarded Delank €2,500

I think in the paper there were few points that were really interesting, most of the times physicians do categorize the gambling addiction into mental disorder but some might accidentally compare it to the OCD. Whereas it claimed how the gamblers who are addicted are 'too uncertain' therefore should be treated seperate from the OCD patients. Apparently the mentality lied in being sensitive to rewards, overconfidence, overestimation as well.

I think it's a wise article and should be taken as a reference when any medical help is being provided to gamblers and at the same time gamblers should also take a note and understand the psychology better.

Would you ever consider doing your research in Gambling? https://www.gamblinginsider.com/news/16389/ksa-awards-4000-to-students-for-gambling-theses

The amount of information gathered on this thesis subject will be gold to new and old gambling running sites. They could boost the players count and even make initiatives on people to gamble, I've never knew such thesis exist and got paid, maybe they were funded by gambling tycoon sites or if not by the government to lessen the gambling addicts in their society. However the government is earning money from gambling sites, just in our country the government is getting millions of dollars out of cockfighting online, just how big the money is really.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to put money in ETH? on: May 14, 2022, 11:02:32 PM
Is it a good time to put some money into eth, or is it falling more?

It is one of the best times to buy eth, in August there is the merging to POS, the price might pump up a week or month before this will happen. Also there is the 2024 halving of BTC. History repeat, when this happens most alts are going up.
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why Russia isn't using it's full force in Ukraine ? tactically .. on: May 14, 2022, 12:57:03 PM
Why Russia isn't using it's full force in Ukraine ?

Why the russians are allowing the ukrainens to win ... they had Kiev in their hands and then they retreat ,it makes no sense, tactically it makes no sense ... as a general i would have bombed Kiev like Mariupol or worse ...

Russia has a lot of resources ...ammo never finishes for russians ...you had Kiev in your hands why would you give it back ? ...no sense ...

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/3/2/why-hasnt-russia-mobilised-its-vast-air-power-against-ukraine

One the reasons that they haven't attack Ukraine fully ks because they share the same blood. They have the same language, came from the same root. They are like the other race that blindly kills innocent lives. They are showing their power, how much can it damage the city they are attacking. They could've blown Ukraine already but they choose to give them the choice to surrender.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What can be done in this situation? on: May 13, 2022, 10:37:32 PM
What can be done to a bounty manager that failed to update the spreadsheet since the beginning of a bounty campaign till the end of the campaign and even after he did nothing, if you are wearing such signature campaign what will you do? Since you need to promote another project.

I don't know such bounty manager exist. If he is a legitimate bounty manager he wouldn't put his name at stake. So either the bounty is a proxy of a scam project or he totally don't give a thing about you guys. If that is the case then you could ask trusted members here for them to tagged them with proofs of course, that way they may stop further bounty manager with such attitude.

15  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy? . . . Nah, hang on a minute. on: May 13, 2022, 06:45:13 PM
We've been told to buy when the price is low and sell when the price is high. This is pretty much the thumb rule in trading.

But that is not without conditions. It isn't absolute. It doesn't always guarantee profit.

Let us not forget the RISK. And risk correlates with volatility. High volatility means high risk. And since the crypto market is a volatile market, the risk is higher here than in the stock or FX market.

So, the "buy=low, sell=high" strategy only works when you successfully manage the risk.

You can do that by:

1. Investing less than 5% of your total portfolio in crypto
2. Prioritizing other aspects of your finances ahead of investing in crypto
       - emergency fund
       - retirement savings
       - high-interest debt payment

In other words, invest only what you can afford to lose.

To sum it up--"Buy when the price is low and sell when the price is high, BUT invest only what you can afford to lose."

It may not guarantee a profit but it can help cut down loss when the bear attacks.

That is the normal way to do, and if anybody or all of us does that, guess what would happen. It seems that we have already know what will happen to the price, we have predicted it but no. We cannot surely know so if you wanna become rich in this you gotta make risk. That is what makes us different from the rich because we are afraid to take it. Yes we do need that emergency funds, retirement savings etc etc. However what is the reason you came here in the first place? It is to find fortune in here, knowing there is a huge risk, and if you won't take it, it the same as you were back when you did not know anything of this.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what will happen to LUNA? on: May 12, 2022, 11:01:23 PM
I wouldn't even thought it would have a dead cat bounce from the chart, the frustration is in the head of those who invest in it. Glad I'm not, most of my portfolio was in Bitcoin, Ethereum and other stablecoins that are backed by real assets, though there are rumors spreading that other stablecoins would be next. Not gonna stay calm but I'm DCA'ing some Ether or Bitcoin from here on out.

It's different for Bitcoin and Ethereum, they have a cap which LUNA doesn't. that is why people keep dumping it over and over. While on the other hand, Bitcoin and ethereum would be hard to mined as days goes by, they are in total separate ways with Luna. Unless eth POS migration will be this year, maybe people would really start dumping it also.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holy Crap ! Terra is gone to zero ?!?! on: May 12, 2022, 09:58:41 PM

Couldn't really believe a project a big as it was can be literally be gone in few days. According to Do Kwon tweet days ago they were lending thousands of BTC to market makers. His followers doubt it since they send out all the 70K BTC on their wallet and its sort of liquidated. Worse than Bitconnect scam. And some of us thought it would bounce quickly right? Anyone who bought the dip must have lost it all.

That move they've made is already a red flag, how come they wouldn't notice such liquidation off BTC? Too bad for the people who invested on LUNA, now their money are gone forever. This is an eyeopener to everyone who doesn't know what brings a meme coin. Better to invest on BTC than any other shitcoins out there.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Coping Strategy for Bitcoin Price Crash on: May 12, 2022, 01:48:25 PM
There's no gainsaying that there's panic everywhere. Some people have likened the 2022 Bitcoin and crypto market crash to watching their house getting burnt down. And at this moment, it doesn't matter whether you invested $100 or $1000 in the market, everyone is feeling the heat. Today, I woke up feeling sober. I was thinking deeply about how much stress, anxiety, depression, and the toll the recent market crash has on the mental health of those who in the crypto community. I also thought about what strategies people are using to cope with the loss.

For me, practicing gratitude is my number one go-to-coping strategy. So, every morning, I look in the mirror and say aloud three(3) things that I am most grateful for.

Today 12th May 2022, I am most grateful for:

1- The gift of Life: So long as I am alive, I have hope for recovery, regardless of how much I lost.

2- Family: I have received so much love and support from them in past few days.

3- Roof over my head: I have lost so much but at least, I still have a roof over my head.

What are your strategies for coping with the Bitcoin and crypto market crash?

We will keep fighting until we are dead, this market crash is nothing to what we have experienced, we can still hope for a brighter future while we are still breathing.

I am very thankful to have a wonderful family, they support me in times of lost, not just in times of ease. You know sometimes you can really see who are the people that loves you the most when yo are in distressed.

A nice and humble home is enough, if there are more to come why not. There are people around the world that doesn't have a home to live in. Good thing I am not only into Crypto currencies, we have our own real jobs and thankfully we are in still good standing. So keep on holding if you can still manage to eat out of your daily incomes.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Tanzania's Move to Introducing Their own Central Bank Digital Currency on: May 11, 2022, 11:23:34 PM
That should be a good move by the central bank of Tanzania but fiat is still fiat, CBDCs are just fiat of the modern time, there is nothing more than that but just that the control shift more away from the commerical banks to central bank but CBDCs are totally centralized and it is fiat, not an alternative to bitcoin or any good cryptocurrencies that are existing.

Banks will never be left out that is true, even if they do migrate to digital currency totally, their structure is always the same. Even the at moment we can transact digitally and hold cards and without money. They are just changing their approach but still the same, since digital currencies is taking the pace.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Everything stop on: May 11, 2022, 10:30:24 PM
Todays current situation for Luna all my works just stop and cant belive whats going on with this scenario!!  Lost too much in my life savings!! Now thinking about invest on btc at least there is no chance like 98% dump at least stable coin looking to more risky!!

It is a blood bath for all coins, but luna is bleeding even more, I am sorry for your lose but it's how crypto works. I don't know if Do Kwon could make his recovery plan a success and will be supported by his company investors to make luna stable , maybe he is just slowing the dumping process that's why he is constantly tweeting to luna holders. I don't know if that could even help them get up, some says that even he manage to get the funds, it won't be enough to the current immense sell off.
