Despite his age and self-admitted poor cardio, he managed to pace himself well enough to make it to round 3 when he KO'd Nascimento.
It wasn't a masterclass performance by either of them but fairly entertaining. A much-needed win for Lewis, who, before that fight, had lost 4 out of the last 5 fights. Now he's back in the game, although I don't think he'll be moved up in the ranks.
To me, the biggest upset was Mateusz Rebecki's loss to Ferreira. Rebecki was a big favourite and it was his chance to break into the top 15 in the most entertaining weight-class in the UFC, but he lost by TKO in rd 3. Hope he'll bounce back as he has potential.
The thing with Lewis is even though he's gassed and tired, he could still carry the power in the later rounds. He did it in his match vs Volkov and a couple of other guys. So I'm not totally surprised at all. |

Huge embarrassment from Man United getting trashed by Crystal Palace of all clubs.  Anyway the books seem to think they're going to lose vs Arsenal at home in Old Trafford, giving them a generous line of 7.20, draw no bet at 5 and double chance at 3.10. I think these are very good lines as the match is in Old Trafford. They won't roll over that easy in front of their own fans. Edit: Ooo damn... And just like that the line fell to 6.60, 4.70 and 3. It was a such a big disappointment for Manchester United fans. Seeing your team being that desperate must be frustrating. Plus, Manchester United have been struggling like this for years...  When it comes to the odds for the Manchester United - Arsenal match, I see some interesting differences on some websites. Arsenal have the same odds however Manchester United's varies from 7.20 to 6.40. Maybe it isn't a big deal, I don't know.  At the end of the day, I just expect Arsenal to win this one way or another. They have to if they want to keep their chance for the PL championship. If you're sports betting for a living then these small edges really matter imho. I mean if you could bet some club at 7.20 then why go for 6.40? The price gap is somewhat big. Got a feeling Man United will spoil Arsenal's title run. They are not gonna accept a loss at Old Trafford after a trashing from Crystal Palace. Lol. But in fairness to Crystal Palace, their new manager seems really good. Hmmm... Actually I'd rather watch Aspinall vs. Pereira than Jones vs Aspinall at this point. But I think it's just mind games from Jones. He wants to agitate Aspinall. Everybody knows Aspinall is next after Miocic or if Jones keep stalling the division, he's need to vacate and the UFC will need to officially make Aspinal HW champ.
Nah, despite all the negative things that can be said about him, Jones is still one of the best fighters the world has ever seen, so he's by far the best possible opponent for Aspinall, both from sport and money perspective. But if Jones keeps it stalling for too long, he will eventually get too old and it will just not be the same. Just like nobody is hyped to see Miocic, despite him having great record and only losing to the best etc. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think we've ever seen a situation when, upon return, the original champion does not fight the interim champ but someone else instead, and still gets to keep his belt. That kind of negates the entire concept of interim belts, creating a split in the weight class where 2 belts exist in parallel. Mmm never said he wasn't any good. All I'm saying is sooner or later he should be stripped off the title to keep the division moving. It shouldn't stall just for Jon Jones and knowing the UFC, if a fighter is causing something that's bad for business, they will move on. And the funny thing is the UFC will get a lot for it from 'the fans'. Well boohoo and if they stop being 'fans' of the UFC then good riddance. Anyway, I think I change my mind on Buckley... The way Layerzero is massively farmed, I feel they will invent some new method to filter out sybils, and we we'll only know that when they publish the criteria, or if they go with something generic farmers gonna receive peanuts. I drift towards former more tho.

I did not know about Sybils, what is this exactly? And how Sybils filter can affect airdrop farmers? Airdrop farmers and Sybils mean same thing. So a guy like me who uses just one wallet isn't an airdrop farmer? And I'm not kidding. I use just one wallet and have never tried to game these airdrops. If I did, I would've gotten way more in Arbitrum and Wormhole airdrops. I consider myself an airdrop farmer but not a sybil. The correct definition of the word sybil is when someone creates multiple identities to attack a target. In the case of airdrop farming, it's creating multiple identities to get more than your fair share from the airdrop. |

I've lost the track on recent heavyweight affairs. I thought the fight with Miocic got pushed back and it's a done deal. But then we have Jones asking fans on twitter who should he be fighting next (Aspinall or Alex Pereira), so I don't know. All I know is Tom should just ignore Jones if he doesn't want to fight him, and move on. The best fight for him would be Alex Pereira if they allow him to move up, other than that, Cyril Gane could be a good fight. I just wanna see these guys throw leather, make some bets and hopefully see the best match ups for future events. And right now the best match ups are in the UFC.

And I have been lurking in Layer Zero's Discord server. It looks like it's slowing down there a bit. Maybe the guys who farmed LZ with 10 or so wallets have already accepted what's in store for them. And that means getting just 15% of their airdrop. That's still not a bad deal imho. Unless LZ will pay them for just one wallet.
The problem is not that they agreed to 15%, but the problem is that no one knows from what amount these 15% will be calculated. If only you could first check on the checker what amount was accrued and then decide whether these 15% are worth making unnecessary movements. If it were up to me and since LZ really was working with the guys at Nansen and Chaos Labs... I would not have started the self report and get 15% thing and just straight up announce that they have a list of sybils as analyzed by Nansen and Chaos Labs then tell them that LZ is giving them their fair due but just for one wallet. I think that would be fair and it wouldn't have the PR disaster that happened. But what's done is done. And it was fun tho. LZ Discord which was mostly quiet suddenly had a lot of traffic from sybils complaining. |

^ Uh... With those projects mostly likely backed by VC money and all of them having topped at over 1 billion market cap, I don't think we could really consider them as 'gems'. As far as I'm concerned gems are those somewhat unknown projects with high float, low market cap tokens and very well distributed. Most of them are under 100m market cap... From the top of my head I could name a couple but hesitant to share them as I could be wrong. These small caps are tricky. :/ |
