They have added some burning and buyback mechanism but it's not going to be felt as soon as possible after they've released that. So, with their update, it's giving some light of hope from those investors that have lost a bit of hope about BFG.

Having a burning mechanism and locking team dev's tokens, looks welcoming change or this was the model before?
What's this? I haven't seen any other plan then current one where they are burning their own tokens that weren't ever touching the market in the first place, so of course that doesn't do anything for the price. And now they want users to lock their tokens themselves which i found hilarious. Like raising their hands up and saying "it's up to you now, we did all we could".

I don't know which is worse; their lying, inability to plane game theory for tokenomics, looking down on their users and thinking they are stupid enough not to see trough this scam. That their users woldn't realize that team doesn't care. Or their intolerance for any criticism.

If Yobit was a casino, it would be planned as something like this.
Just a few post above us and you'd see that they've posted those updates. That's what they've come up and I only have commented those details from them.

They should also have some conversation and get to reply to the interesting posts of other users on their own thread.

At first glance, that announcement about the new BFG tokenomics and the updated deflationary strategy looks promising. So, I'm inclined to think that the community should give a chance to the Betfury team, and drawing any conclusions about the new tokenomics as well as the impact of the updated deflationary strategy on the BFG price only makes sense closer to the end of this year.
It's best to hear out from those actual investors. I don't hold it and I think that we've got forum members here that still holds their token in hope that they'd able to recover from what has happened to them.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance launches Notcoin (NOT) on launchpool. on: May 11, 2024, 09:16:44 AM
This coin is so interesting that most of the exchanges and the community are into it. Many didn't got into the tapping of it on the app because it doesn't makes sense looking on how you're mining it.
Yes I think only few exchange will not list it. With this massive listing I guess everyone are anticipating its launch with 35m user base this is really a thing for exchange. I did tapped on this and enjoy using it, well the process of acquiring it needs some of your time not that much but not hard too. Able to farm this since 2nd day of their launch. Got some pretty good figures who knows what will be its value in due time.
How many NOT did you managed to collect and became eligible with? What I am seeing right now is many are claiming their NOTs already and those that want to take it quickly, they're registering or subscribing to the Telegram Premium.

Wow, that's a lot of sale for the Telegram with this project and many have been subscribing for $5 and I think that's around for a month already but the majority that have subscribed to it are due to the advantage of claiming their NOTs rightaway.

This coin is so interesting that most of the exchanges and the community are into it. Many didn't got into the tapping of it on the app because it doesn't makes sense looking on how you're mining it.

But those that are patient and persevered to just do it on a daily basis, you're going to be rewarded and you all are for sure waiting for the listing of it and the actual spot trading opens.

Brace yourselves because you can't be too late on it and it is about selling it asap.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Expertise in Sports and Sports Market Knowledge on: May 10, 2024, 04:46:00 PM
If you bet on sports - football, basket ball, cricket, and the others. Which is more important and offers a profitable outcome; You knowing the sports and everything about it or having knowledge and understanding of the sports betting market?

When it comes to sports betting, what holds greater significance and offers more profitable outcomes: being well-versed in the sports themselves or having comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the sports betting market?
IMHO it's best to know both. But if you only know one, it should be knowing the actual sports than the betting market/odds. Because knowing the actual sports that you're betting on gives you more edge and better chance of winning your bet.

This is what someone already said about it.

Quote
I’m a professional sports bettor and I firmly believe not knowing about sport is in many cases an advantage to profiting from it. Many men believe their great knowledge of sport will make them money from betting on it but it’s more important to have knowledge and understanding of sports betting markets and in fact nearly all their knowledge will already be factored into the prices.

Drop your two cents y'all.
He's not wrong but on this case, we can say that it is to each their own. If that's his opinion and based on his experience works well on him, then that's good for him.

But not knowing or having no background with what you're betting, you do understand the case, right when you're gambling. That means that you're putting yourself in a situation about relying upon your entire luck and doing YOLO. Do you like to gamble like that? there's also no assurance with whoever said that in the quote. We're all betting and gambling.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where Will It Go If The Money Comes From Illegal Source on: May 10, 2024, 02:12:44 PM
They do not keep the money to themselves. I think it works this way. When they seize the funds, they then report to the authorities. the authorities will then start an investigation while the investigation is on, the casino still has the funds. When the investigation is completed and it turns out that the cash comes from an illegal source, the casino then hands over the funds to the authorities and their hands are off. However when the reverse is the case, the funds are returned to the account of the owner and their account is unfreezed or unbanned.
This is likely the process of what casinos does if someone isn't able to provide requirements for kyc and prove that their funds are clean and not dirty.

That's the main purpose of KYC, to know where your funds comes from as the casinos are also just checking in if the money flowing in to them are clean and they're regulated by the authorities.

So, there's due process and they don't really keep the money unless they'll treat it as a dormant account. Maybe, they can do that or not and that can be a different story and scenario.

In long run they were not interested to have listening on any exchange because they were never been give any update or having any activity about this so most chances we will be not had anything related to this in near future but if someone from team having change of mind in coming months this could be also beneficial for them and community as well.
This is good news now they are updating tokenmics and giving good updates about their future if they are keep going like this surely we will be having more increase in price which will be helpful for the investors and also for this token with now they need to think about listening as well which will be give them good response if they are looking for the license.
I haven't read entirely about their new tokenomics but it seems that they're aware of what the investors want to have. About exchange and listing, I think that they have it on planned as they want to add liquidity on exchanges as mentioned on their new tokenomics.

They have added some burning and buyback mechanism but it's not going to be felt as soon as possible after they've released that. So, with their update, it's giving some light of hope from those investors that have lost a bit of hope about BFG.

47  Economy / Economics / Re: Banning of p2p on crypto apps in Nigeria on: May 09, 2024, 09:07:17 PM
The government is doing the right thing based on what they think about it. But of course for the people, they're doing something against them.

The Nigerian government has been strict lately. Despite that they're having a large volume that's coming from their country, the government noticed that and they don't want any other platform benefit from that.

And that's why, they're banning exchanges and these p2p crypto apps. That's what they think is the right thing to do so that their people would be relying on their own country's platform if ever they have this kind of tradable apps.

I'm not from Nigeria so I don't know exactly what the reason behind it is, but my guess is that this issue is more related to taxes. Perhaps the government feels the amount of tax collected is not commensurate with the amount of money Binance earns, and when an agreement cannot be reached between the two sides, it is understandable for them to ban Binance or other exchanges.

What's more interesting than the word I realized is that many investors have always criticized and slandered centralized exchanges but when centralized exchanges were banned in their countries, they started criticizing the government. This makes me suspicious of people who always say they only use decentralized exchanges as well as non-custodial wallets. Because if they use centralized exchanges, I don't think Binance being banned is a serious problem for them.
Possible about the taxes and these platforms aren't registered in Nigeria and that's why they're taking them down and starting to ban most of them.

There can be some negotiations and then compliance with requirements to make them legally operate in their country.

But even so, if the government has already discouraged its citizens from using these platforms. I guess that there will still a lot of citizens gonna find a way for them to trade whether with p2p or exchanges.
48  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Dips are temporary but Bitcoin is forever. on: May 09, 2024, 07:57:32 PM
There is no better way to put this out here, DIPs are an integral part of Bitcoin that's a function of its volatility that should be embraced in a good way. It's just a temporary correction that gives intending holders the ability to buying Bitcoin at a much cheaper rate. The fact that it is caused by factors like market sentiment, regulatory uncertainty, macroeconomics indicators, speculations etc goes to show to a very large extent that it's just a temporary thing while Bitcoin in itself stays forever even after those correction.
Mainly, it's about the demand.

Buy Bitcoin before the DIP, buy during the DIP, and buy after the DIP. Bitcoins isn't going anywhere anytime soon but most DIPs will be long gone and long gone for good. There are so many DIP price you can't buy Bitcoin at but you will always have those Bitcoin you bought during the DIP at an higher worth in the future, cease every opportunity of buying during the DIP, buy as much as you can at the moment cause DIPs are temporary but Bitcoin stays forever.
People shouldn't panic when they see some dips happen every now and then. These are normal occurrences that happen to the market. If there will be no more dip then don't expect some pumps to come.

It is very essential to see these dips get in here before some huge market recovery comes and moves up to the ceiling. Those that still don't understand it will understand it soon.

Why this isn't worrying for those that have been staying on this market for so long. We share the vibes with you folks and you have nothing to worry about if you just HODL.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You sing A Journal, Spreadsheets Will Fave The Way For Addiction To Gambling on: May 09, 2024, 01:01:40 PM
I want to ask: Are Using A Journal or Spreadsheets Will Fave The Way For Addiction To Gambling?
I don't think so, it only shows that you're organized and you're making a journal out of it. So, that means that you're still in control and if ever your plan didn't go accordingly, you have contingency plans.

My reasoning is that by creating a spreadsheet or a journal, you are taking gambling seriously and looking for ways and a means to win in sports betting or luck-based games.
That's true because you've got a plan of growing your bankroll. We've got different descriptions about what addiction is but for me, I don't think that this is addiction.

Does anyone here have their own journal or spreadsheets, and are you taking gambling seriously?
I do take my bets seriously but not to that point that it will cause me addiction.

I am so much concerned to why Nigerians government is banning the use of p2p on some crypto apps. To their allegations, it's said the crypto is affecting the currency and it also aids money laundry. Can anyone enlighten if what the government is doing is the right thing. The government left the banking sector and blames binance and other crypto companies.

51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust bitcoin holders? on: May 08, 2024, 03:16:51 PM
Since bitcoin promotes mostly anti-government, banks, etc.
No, it doesn't promote hate against those subjects. But because of its features promoting anonymity and decentralization, that seems to be it but that's not a direct hit to them.

I am wondering; Do you trust bitcoin holders?
I am a Bitcoin holder and I trust myself. Why there's a need to question someone who's holding it as a store of value if you're going to trust him or not?

Trust is subjective and the subject about bitcoin holding is lack to say on what aspect do you trust them.
52  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: May 08, 2024, 03:08:46 AM
Shopify Rebellion as they are about to participate the PGL Wallachia, they've removed Thiolicor as their position 4 player. The position 4 will be filled by skem, that's according to a streamer named 'Storm'.

Shopify Rebellion changed their roster before PGL Wallachia Season 1 - STORM

But if this is a real thing, skem moving to NA sounds good to me to be honest. He's been stuck with his current team as this guy is a talented and versatile player.
53  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Inflation Necessary on: May 07, 2024, 09:41:11 PM
Inflation has happened in almost every country. It usually happens after a natural disaster.
Not only every time there's a natural disaster. Actually, it happens yearly and for most, it happens monthly. The world is in interconnected to each other mostly to the countries that import their products.

But to those that have their own sustainable way of living and they don't need products outside their country then, they're the ones that likely won't get that much inflation.

Currently, most of the underdeveloped countries that have inflation are also affected by corona. The countries that could not recover from the shock of corona are now the victims of inflation.
Every country, affected or not by the covid-19 virus got their own rates of inflation.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FED action against bitcoin & crypto on: May 07, 2024, 12:53:20 PM
I think the government has realized that cryptocurrency will succeed no matter how tough they act on it. However, they are still very interested in their no privacy policy, which would surely give them information on everyone using Bitcoin and others. Privacy is surely the right of everyone and it's not negotiable.
They have scrutinized exchanges and companies that have been all-out for crypto. It's for sure that they're seeing where this is heading and that's to greater success of Bitcoin.

And it's not just about the possible success of Bitcoin but also it includes our privacy. They're violating our rights to privacy but even with that, they're telling who's the boss.

Got some updates about the current tournament which is the EPL Season 18. Mouz is doing good not until they beg off to continue on this tournament because of the conflict of schedule for another tournament which is the PGL Wallachia Season 1.
They're so lucky to participate in that tournament after Tundra failed to secure their visa, and OG declined the invite due to them having other plans.
That's true, there is another team that can't secure VISA for this tournament and that's Blacklist International.

In conclusion, they will be out of this tournament and Azure Ray is going to secure and replace the slot that's for them. What lucky teams indeed.

Therefore, Mouz and Azure Ray are already an official part of this tournament. Too bad that Blacklist can't participate on this one because AFAIK, this is going to be their biggest tournament participation.

Blacklist International couldn't secure visas for PGL DOTA 2 Wallachia Season #1, despite multiple extended deadlines.

With no other SEA teams holding visas to attend the tournament, Azure Ray has stepped in as Blacklist’s replacement, fully prepared to join the event.

Obviously, the latter has a better prize pool than of the former and that's why they have to adjust. And this tournament is about to happen in 3 days time.

With whopping $1M in prize pool, this is a tier 1 tournament and will be participated by regional best teams that have qualified for it. The best teams are here, Falcons, Team Spirit, GG, Team Liquid, XG and many more. 16 teams to be exact.
57  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Rise of Crypto Gambling: What You Need to Know on: May 06, 2024, 08:31:33 PM
You are correct. The future of online crypto casinos is affected by the blockchain technology, that permits online crypto casinos to take advantage of features that are not obtainable in non crypto casinos - crypto casinos provide improved restrictions,
For everything that's related to crypto casinos, there's always the use of blockchain technology. Whether it is a casino or an exchange or payments are made on crypto then it's for sure that there's blockchain technology behind it.

better means of security  and have a more rapid withdrawals.
But don't be surprised if you've been halted for some reason. Especially, to the big withdrawals that are being done and even if you've won that outrightly.

There's a possibility that you'd be stopped for some additional verifications and that's common today for most casinos.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: Take care of your money and learn to save. on: May 06, 2024, 02:20:51 PM
Take care of your money and learn to save. It actually great but would be more great if you can do take care of your money and learn to invest haha
Save to invest as they say and I agree with that. Though savings is needed for some purpose that you don't see happen any time soon, and learning how to be wise with our money through saving is a good skill and it's a must have.

Money is the key in this world it really is and we need ton of it just for live every day. Money management also needed in our daily life and control how the money flow is our responsibility. So take care and do Investment is needed in my opinion
We need it to survive and there are people that are dying to have it. And if we're in a state and good condition and we're blessed to earn it, that's why we need to spend or save or invest it wisely.

With everything that's rising nowadays, it's true that we need to be good at managing it. Not just a spender, a saver but also be an investor.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question to hodlers:How will you spend the money? on: May 06, 2024, 12:06:32 PM
Hello,friends
The question is addressed to hodlers who have been hodling bitcoin for years
Sooner or later there will come a moment when we will sell the bitcoins we hodl and have to invest this money in something else to create passive income
It can be real estate, any business, buying land and renting it out or something else
Very few people will sell bitcoins just to spend this money in a few months,at least i don't know such people
Everyone here is a smart person and everyone here has thought about where to spend this money
That's my question

P.s. I'm a holder myself,i'm thinking about strategies and i'm interested in the opinion of other hodlers to put these ideas in my head and think about them

-Regards
Those that you have mentioned, they're part of my plan if ever the time has come for me and I want to start selling some of my holdings.

They're in position and in profit already but I don't think that I'd do it this time unless I see some skyrocket to Bitcoin before this year ends. Most plans are in 2025 and this bull run is still quite long.

We have to be patient but too much of it might lose you the opportunity at the right time. So, always weigh things when deciding.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull in Altcoins Sector on: May 05, 2024, 10:45:21 PM
Everyone is waiting for bull season but nobody knows when it will be happened but we are just keep waiting. And recently Btc got so expensive and some altcoins also got expensive with Bitcoin but not all altcoins are flying. Altcoins pumped to in march but then dump in April. I saw many good altcoins dumped. But when bull season start, they'll obviously raise up from their position. Although bull season is unknown but atleast we can get prepared and purchase some good altcoins for bull season
It is unknown when to actually happen but we have some idea when it's going to start. And as long as the halving of Bitcoin is done, we know that we're near to the bull run.

The matter of what a crypto folk needs to do is to be patient this time. Those who are impatient, can't wait any longer and that's what they keep on looking for, profits.

But as they take profits, they are not ready to take it when their coins move to the top but instead, they're waiting again because of their greediness.
