41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Concerns grow over online gambling among teens on: May 18, 2024, 02:13:24 PM
(...)And would you agree with him in implementing gambling prevention education in schools?

It's just the way a certain side talks about the negativity of this field. I feel their argument is not wrong but is it necessary to use the word "prevent"?

While there are many interesting things about exploiting probability in mathematics or logic, what is important is our attitude towards this field. I often talk about knives and how to use them, like someone uses it in the kitchen to cook, but someone will use it to kill someone, and the knife is not a crime, it's just a means to kill people, everyone fulfills the purpose.

Blaming the means is an excuse for irresponsible behavior. I think raising awareness for all audiences is the main issue, not blaming good/bad means.
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you think is the right Name to use? on: May 18, 2024, 02:06:55 PM
(...)My question is, between Bitcoin-er and Bitcoin-ist, which one sound better?
It's just a way of calling and whether we need to distinguish which is the most suitable, like you talk about the left eye and the right eye to see which eye is more beautiful, in terms of distinguishing from people. Likes to complicate matters that are actually simple. And I would like to suggest that you feel free to use whatever you think is appropriate, for me "er" or "ist" is not so important.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is it still to Invest into meme coins? on: May 18, 2024, 02:00:30 PM
No one decides your rich/poor, so evaluate yourself and make a decision.

I'm wondering that in the past 3 months you've been talking about researching memecoins, so do you find yourself taking a gamble when you could be moving towards leading cryptocurrencies like bitcoin, eth,... or just because the profits don't come quickly makes you stay away and turn to memecoins.

Everything has its own risks, but the core still belongs to investors when they don't really understand their behavior, and let's be realistic that certain memecoins increase in price thousands of times but at the same time most has evaporated.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Swap crypto or sell first then buy? on: May 17, 2024, 10:20:04 PM
Hi,

I have a few altcoins that are doing pretty well and want to take profits soon to then reinvest into other altcoins that haven’t pumped yet and I am wondering if it is best to swap directly or sell my altcoin that is doing well into USDT and then buy the new altcoin I want with the USDT?

I use Coinbase mainly so wondering which way is best to do it or is there not really much difference?

You can be more specific about that category so that everyone can share more clearly about the plan or goal that it can achieve.

I think each person's investment behavior is always different and it is not fixed which investment will bring profit. As I am building a strategy mostly for bitcoin and only hold altcoins that I think are worth buying (low valuation, upside potential, technology, applications, team, community,...)

If there is a profit, it's not a big story, the important thing is what you expect that goal to be, I know some scenarios where you regret making a wrong decision, selling what you're holding and the price increases sharply. Meanwhile, newly purchased items show signs of decreasing. So right from the beginning, you should make your plan clear, not follow the trend that is being spread and then there will come a time when you realize you are going backwards and going through all kinds of ups and downs of profits but not getting anything.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we increase the awrarness level for Bitcoin adoption on: May 17, 2024, 10:13:27 PM
Few want it to reach people who don't have access to something new, just like most of us talk about bitcoin to people who have access to investment or that they can profit from through bitcoins. So looking at the target audience, it's not a story that applies on a large scale. Of course there is a solution, but who will be the one to implement it?

I also live in the countryside, but I realized that people here don't care about the existence of bitcoin or want to learn about it, and like you can't talk about a high school math problem to a kid. young people about its potential application in information technology.

Even about using smartphones, internet,... I know there are still many places that have not yet approached that. There are many reasons and in each region there will be different problems. For now, I think we should raise our own awareness or help those who have access to bitcoin to understand it first.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Casino Community Service Possible? on: May 17, 2024, 10:06:12 PM
If this step is taken to render community service by casinos, it would make a difference and that casino would forever be recorded in the book of history to have done such or joined the list of the few casinos to have done such if any have really done that before.

Ironically, they want to make money more than lose it, and the attention may not be in the way we talk about here. Supporting the community is probably just a small trick in their product marketing plan, perhaps the most common form is that they directly spend on advertising services that are present in their lives depending on the scale campaign model.

But I'm still curious about the difference in what they get in that behavior, because as I understand it, their goal is to make more money, not social spheres.
47  Other / Off-topic / Re: I noticed about something of very successful and wealthy people If u talk them on: May 17, 2024, 07:36:11 PM
Yep, the journey to the goal and realizing it has changed many things in life, I don't know how the people you are interacting with help you learn positive things. But I myself, through stories from people who have encountered failures in life, see that they accurately reflect all the lessons they have been going through, the first lesson is to keep trying and then find the right direction that suits you.

I always see that everyone's efforts will be rewarded, it's just that on the journey to perfection there are challenges that make people suffer more but those are also things that need to be overcome. For example, I felt close to a cousin when he had barely finished middle school, but in life he also tried a lot and looked back at his mistakes to try, and then everyone understood see it as a successful person having almost everything that people consider an achievement.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: Government always hides productive truths from the masses on: May 17, 2024, 07:28:23 PM
(...)
I actually came up with this thread after I've put to considerations in researching why most of bitcoin Investors expresses their regrets of coming late to the bitcoin industry was because of the lies laideby our governments and also why the government is being against the non custodian financial system as bitcoin and the cryptocurrencies at large is because the government have in plan to economically imprison the people in the future but was unfortunate for them that one single individual known to be Satoshi Nakamoto came to deliver the world from such disasterous plans of the government to take control over treasures of the people.

Issues such as being uncontrollable or unmanageable, blaming illegal activities or causing harm to the economy or the environment, ... are all just ways to justify behavior. Opposition to bitcoin. But in some ways, that is also part of the development process with bitcoin, which is inherently perfect on its own, but with prejudice, opponents always find all kinds of different tricks to manipulate information. The government's support/opposition to bitcoin has specific effects but I also believe that it is natural, like there is no specific reason for bitcoin to appear because we can describe it with thousands of people. Thousands of different stories, as long as we find something through bitcoin, not someone leading us to bitcoin.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 'HODL' The first meme coin on BNB Chain? on: May 17, 2024, 07:20:22 PM
Another article I saw talked about this token Smiley

Not sure what kind of hype and shady marketing is going on, but as usual with memecoins, no matter how much you hype it up, those who are interested in it will come, and those who are indifferent to it will find it. The appearance of memecoin will not bother much.

And in this situation, the memecoin gambling category still has a lot of room for it, but these are not what I am looking for, anyway always consider before making a decision.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: A new type of shills similar to ICO scammers, this is called Key Opinion Leaders on: May 17, 2024, 07:15:32 PM
The excitement of the bull season with its hyped terms accompanies the influencers Smiley this game will continue until the greed and ignorance of the newbies, but the process is the same time brings access but in an unhealthy way.

I also know some people who have gone into hiding from the old cycles and have not shown any signs of returning (maybe captured, killed, or enjoyed....) and in the next time perhaps other new forms will continue to be distributed. In general, even influencers are willing to create plays to deceive trust, and with the current stage of social media development, there is always an organizational system that helps someone become an influencer fame + some AI tools make them seen as a financial expert actor.

This is a cat and mouse game where we should know who is scamming who hehehe. I reckon that on the finish line of the bull market, there will be more skeptical people than there was during 2022. On the ICO hype, we knew that their creators were the scammers, however, on these influencers and KOLs, they are pretending go be a community member who brings everyone the correct information heheeh. They are a different type of scammer.

Can anyone share which projects and which are the key opinion leaders they are using? These influencers are very active in Telegram, I reckon. There are other projects that have secret channels where they plan their activities.

Yep, in the situation where I encountered newbies approaching the crypto market, they were initially skeptical and sought advice from a number of sources, but unintentionally led them to what they wanted. Perhaps their journey needs to go through that, in the dark locality there are new characters appearing by attracting attention with information dramas with real people sharing market information, fake appearances is also unavoidable and it seems that at some point they will also feel the opposite of fame.

Anyway, with the experiences that I know, I hope people will walk on their own feet without depending on someone, but what is important is what they receive through the experience that everything is perfect even when witnessing a series of deceptions.
51  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Interesting question about wars and people revenge? on: May 17, 2024, 07:08:21 PM
So when was world 1 war and second world war i did not found out any of the revenge against war organizers and leaders and financiers that was happening in history ?
Is that Normal that someone will kill your loved ones and you just don't do nothing ? I think it will be normal to find out anyone whos involved in this.
Or the people taking this as normal thing that someone gona hurt and they don't stand up ?
Or was In the history situations when people acted?
I mean world we live is kinda small and nowdays everybody can have access to info and If you are connected with something it's easy to find out for example  big money in the world is always connected the big hedge fund guys and their friend and political guys you can see easy whos doing what and  where nowdays everybody knows what everybody do it and with who they role together.
It's not the point to join with army you don't revenge nothing you yourself might just getting killed and fight others who are In forced situation to fight so the army don't get anything done.
You want to go directly to deal with big guys the source of problem

The result after every war is that there is a winner and a loser, revenge if there is still hatred on the part of those who still have hatred, but most of the remnants of the war with the losing side are few.

to form a war is not easy with the possibility of failure, so perhaps you should also accept the fact that the battles for control of the military and economic system are not just within a single home, which is the entire national territory.

Besides, why not accept that after the war we will have peace, it's just that the war has not ended so the war will continue again. Even if new conflicts are formed over interests, that is also a natural law. I was also born in a country where people of the same ethnic group were killed but we achieved independence, which remains. Moreover, I feel grateful to them for bringing about the current peaceful life, and we do not think about the hatred because of who will be responsible, the soldiers, or the leaders, country,... everything is in the past and we need to cherish the life we have from the stories that have happened because we can also feel the cruelty of war.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether, TON team up with mobile app for USDT-to-fiat transactions on: May 17, 2024, 06:59:03 PM
(...)These are the part I wanted to share with you guys because it's quite revolutionary, right?
...
I somehow feel the marketing progress and demonstration of potential that TON is gaining attention and widespread adoption.

As long as it is beneficial to the user's usage behavior, although I am not a fan of USDT as a means, it is still an important object in the crypto space. And this event can be implicitly understood to be beneficial for all parties.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla may once again accept bitcoin payments whether this is capital snobbery or on: May 17, 2024, 06:55:33 PM
Some issues try to be labeled with bitcoin at this point just to draw attention to itself, in any case, sort of +bitcoin content.

Not only stories about Tesla, Elon Musk, USA, China,... a series of different issues have appeared that partly reflect the influence of bitcoin at this stage, perhaps people do not want to miss the opportunity that bitcoin brings, acceptance is widespread but one day there will be people turning away and talking about bitcoin being harmful.

And anyway, bitcoin is still bitcoin, no matter what it adds, it means we are only trying to find benefits through bitcoin.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOGemHunters - top notch ICO listing calendar for bounty and presale hunters on: May 17, 2024, 04:21:03 PM
I have a feeling it's copying the icodrops app Smiley

But sharing updates on new projects for the community is very welcome. However, choosing a tool to support research depends on each person as well as each person's approach.

I have some suggestions if you need something like cryptorank, defillama, icoanalytics,... or some communities on TG, X,... all share a lot of things that they also test themselves.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the biggest bet you ever won? Did you withdraw or lose it? on: May 17, 2024, 04:12:53 PM
I don't remember the exact odds but I once won about $0.50 about $40 in a local lottery game. And I've won twice at different times, but maybe I'm not a gambling addict who looks for opportunities from it, even though I've heard many success/failure stories of everyone. But that's everyone's story, and for me, gambling should be seen as a comfortable way to relax rather than pressured with the goals it brings, but it's true that the life experiences we get are different so I don't have to express my opinion on what someone should do, but in this space what I see with players is the responsibility behind their behavior.
56  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's the weirdest compliment you've ever received? on: May 17, 2024, 04:06:40 PM
I met an old classmate today, and after hanging out for a while, I said a good joke. Her response was a small laugh accompanied by saying, "You are less annoying than I thought you'd be by now." I genuinely didn't know how to feel about that, and I just mentally noted it down as the weirdest compliment I've received so far in my life. What's yours?

You are distinguishing positive/negative based on your imagination. I'm not that friend of yours so I'm not sure about the intention behind it but you can frankly ask about it with the other person.

In the case that happened to me, there is nothing strange, perhaps I prefer to hear appreciation rather than unrealistic things. Like a teacher once said "you tried but it wasn't enough" Smiley I was really happy when I realized how much it means to have satisfaction and gratitude from these messages through language communication. Anyway, sometimes it can be doubtful to distinguish things that we imagine in different directions, but perhaps we should also go back and live fully with the things going on around us without clinging to something that someone offers.
57  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ww3 like gladiators fight for elite on: May 17, 2024, 04:00:21 PM
Glorying in the face of false harmony, we can somehow perceive painting as a poor way for differences of opinion to be resolved. History tells us that after some victories the truth is revealed, it is not always expressed in the true nature, it is just the way they promote the results obtained.
But before each game, no one wants to be at a disadvantage, or sometimes there are strategies to pretend to show shortcomings to cover up real strength. Either way, from any angle, we can see that we are living in a crisis storm and it can sweep us away at any time.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has chain link performed so far?? on: May 17, 2024, 03:54:04 PM
Seeing the recent news about some partnership involving link, got me to wonder. I've known this token for a while- about 3years and it's made little or minor progress. With the bull approaching, do you think now is finally the time for link to live up to expectations??

The price partly reflects their progress. With LINK, I think there are too many articles analyzing the potential and capabilities it creates in the crypto space. The proof of its position in the crypto space is always appreciated, but anyway, when talking about the technology it is dealing with, there are almost too many things and almost investors are not too concerned about it. This story, is simply that the investment money has seen appear with profits.

IMO LINK still has a low valuation with what it is showing, not simply that in this uptrend there is not much being shown but perhaps the race is going on it is still the highlight It has received the attention of many whales and newbies because of its price increase.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETFs coming to China? on: May 17, 2024, 03:45:34 PM
If it is not support from the mainland, it may be opposition to bitcoin, after all, the story has happened many times before.
Although the impact on the market is obvious, to me this type of information only fluctuates in the short term because at this stage the acceptance is not only within a country with a large economy. somehow. Perhaps they also realize that the acts of banning and suppressing bitcoin cannot stop it from developing. Previously, I have heard many experiments about blockchain technology applied to fiat and see that they also have different approach to crypto sector development. Although spot ETFs are something that drives the participation of many large investors, it depends on the timing of the game as we all understand it does not bring success to everyone.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Memecoin specifically for holders.. on: May 17, 2024, 03:37:13 PM
If you feel it's appropriate, then go ahead and do it. To me, the presentation of the dev behind it is just another irony because in the memecoin space, new things can be updated regularly, and some old things are no longer attractive. The remaining lead to retention is bot play and maybe some waiting for a trending script with some particular keyword.

But anyway, with the gambling style, it is not too bad when talking about memecoins that can be kept for a long time, anyway, each person will give their opinion on the argument that they think they are right in the end then loser/winer has no meaning if you don't own it.
