861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Terra Luna Questions on: December 02, 2023, 08:54:16 AM
I will still remember that the UST pool was "attacked" on Curve, BTC decreased, leading to UST losing the threshold of 1 USD (depeg). And the days that followed were a series of price disasters. The project side seems to not have enough capacity to resolve the situation.

''domino''
on the crypto market.

A series of projects related to this platform have suffered the same situation. In fact, it is impossible to measure the exact amount of damage that the LUNA-UST "disaster" has caused, is causing, or is about to cause to the cryptocurrency market.

The garbage dump in the market will still have people operating and creating hype for their own purposes, but in my opinion, forget about it and look forward to the good future of the crypto field. Incidents like Luna teach us that crypto is not always safe, as financial vulnerabilities can cause another major disaster to occur.

862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin story on: December 01, 2023, 11:15:49 AM
I don't have much technical knowledge about Bitcoin, but I tested my patience when I sat down to talk about another memecoin   Grin with my 6-year-old nephew. And reminds me of exposing children to new knowledge in an open way, I talk about the symbols of money in the crypto market, and then talk about the fun in this market, the final conclusion that I want to imprint on the child's mind is to mention that the king is Bitcoin. Although this is only small, incomplete information about the market, I believe this has planted a seed in the child's awareness when he or she is more capable and will remember my story.

Perhaps in our current generation there are still controversies, but as the truth and acceptance are better understood, the next generation will have a crypto market that I believe will be much.

Your nephew is 6 years old, which means he hasn't even finished 1st grade yet. So what benefits do bitcoin and cryptocurrency bring in this case? Even if you tell them a million times about the fun or the huge amount of money you make from the market, I bet you they won't understand a thing. I also have a son and he is over 5 years old, I also tried mentioning bitcoin as my image, logo or physical bitcoin...but he never remembers them just 1 day later. But if you give them Spider-Man, Batman, Iron Man...they will remember it for a long time and be very interested. Bitcoin is finance, it's money, and 6-year-old children don't need to know about those things yet.

As Darker45 said, each age will need different knowledge. Don't try to cram them with things that are not appropriate for their age.
Oh no, I somewhat understand their psychology, not the same way you are thinking, but the way I convey it through memecoin with funny images of the market and mentioning Bitcoin as the king of all. And it's no different from a movie or an animated story, and maybe the audience you're dealing with is different from the audience I'm dealing with, so don't equate everyone not being interested in the same thing. I agree that at an age that isn't cognitive enough, no matter how much you say it a million times, it still won't understand, and just like I wouldn't be stupid enough to sit and talk about math equations with a first grader who hasn't mastered calculus yet.

And the thing here is definitely not forcing anyone, but the kids still know that Bitcoin is the king of this market even though they don't know everything, I can imagine thinking they are relating it as a The zoo contains a lot of animals.

863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your ideal altcoin? on: December 01, 2023, 08:40:03 AM
With altcoins, we easily get confused between technology and ponzi, the trend appears, almost no one pays much attention to the things mentioned by the OP, or there are also people who see it as the basis for searching altcoins. Although I don't have much opinion on future trends, looking at the way the market is working, AI, social,... are the keys that will gain everyone's attention in the near future. But in general, with the altcoin plan, I can only admit Etherem dominance, and the rest is just competition for market share in all the ways that people analyze.

865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What tips you will give to a new investor to identify scam projects early ? on: December 01, 2023, 08:12:30 AM
A scam project has one common characteristic. Most of them use greed to attract investors to them. They offer a high APR, bonus, imaginary future rewards or some kind of benefits that is not easy to resist for an investor even they identify them as an scam project. What they do is distribute rewards to their early members and they are the ones who market that project throughout the crypto industry. Later participants are the ones who took the financial loss. There are some scam identifier project in twitter you can follow them as well.
Yep, those are the signs that we can easily recognize sh*tcoin things. Checking smart contracts helps us somewhat know the quality of that project, but most people who come into contact with hype projects expect big and fast profits, like playing the lottery. Of course, if you don't have skills, or even if you have skills, you can easily be attracted by promises of profit. After many trends have appeared, we all understand that this field has seen a shift in current trends. When scammers are more active, they break the nature of trends and even seasonal things. So there are many beginners who make mistakes when starting out. I always feel sorry for those who start without learning the basic principles of the investment process.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance Launchpad Tokens on: December 01, 2023, 08:02:36 AM
We've just seen a roller coaster ride from ID, after announcing Upbit was a big pump for the market recently.

The current general situation, where excitement is still high, makes many things very easy to pump.

With this category at this point, I think most of the early birds have had their own profit-taking opportunities, and now perhaps the shift will be to other things. But I speculate that there will still be some things that will generate laughter in the short term.
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solona Airdrop Season on: December 01, 2023, 07:53:56 AM
Basically, after a long time when we witnessed doubts or fomo returning to the SOL ecosystem, I also encountered many projects that have plans to distribute airdrops in the near future. But a few in my opinion will receive joy, while the majority of the airdrop space still has useless sh*tcoin, the event related to Jupiter Exchange is a big event for the ecosystem. And I think it's not too surprising to see that JUP is listed in most CEXs and has a large liquid volume.
But you also need to be careful. Recently, there have been many projects taking advantage of the rally from some altcoins to create attractive hype, so always make sure every decision has been calculated from the beginning.
tens of millions of wallets that get the Cex Jupiter airdrop, according to calculations, the wallets that get this allocation will be worth it in the future (yes definitely). and I imagine if the solana ecosystem trended again, billions of money would be burned for that agenda to attract the community. The Solana trend is already looking busy, now lots of coi memes, airdrops are coming
Something that is being discussed quite enthusiastically on social platforms is the Solana ecosystem. I have looked at things about the infrastructure, but it is probably just an exaggeration, and I think there will be some. A number of memecoin waves appeared in this ecosystem to attract many users. But up to now, the FOMO with SOL has been maintained, and moreover, the market situation has many conditions for us to hope for pump.
868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin investment is the key to success" on: December 01, 2023, 07:43:37 AM
Personal investment is mostly for material goals, and when you have met life's difficulties through investment, it is a success. So there's nothing to hesitate about, because you yourself understand that the journey has just begun, and the opportunities for bitcoin are never ending.

I remember in the past I once sold 1BTC/$300 just to spend on living expenses, and to this day I am always grateful to bitcoin for the opportunity it brings not only in terms of profit but all jobs in this field. In the age of information technology, when many people still do not have the opportunity to access the Internet, for those of us who know bitcoin and have investment opportunities and even jobs, it is always a great luck.
869  Economy / Economics / Re: Growth mindset versus fixed mindset on: December 01, 2023, 05:52:08 AM
I'm reflecting on what I know about thinking, there are indeed many layers of division to see the level of anyone's thinking.

Know-> Understand-> Manipulate-> Creative

Normally, I think most of us are just at the knowing level, the first level and if we stop at this, then we will be the same as the crowd and there will be no difference. The higher the level, the more it reflects on us as people, but one thing that I think provides an infinite resource for us to be able to learn things is respect for everyone.

A small example that I tested myself on is that I greatly respect Tesla, through whom I have learned more about science. Although I do not admit that my thinking has been upgraded, this motivation will grow as we respect them more.
870  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New here and wants to make some money on: December 01, 2023, 05:40:25 AM
There are many ways to make money on this forum, but first let's share more about your skills because it must be said that there are jobs that I believe you will not be able to do without knowledge about it.

Basically, you can find things that suit your abilities here:
- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=52.0
But if you intend to pursue this field longer and want to have a sustainable income, I think you need to improve your knowledge and skills. And today I also came across a number of Web3 platforms that support interactions for projects and create money-making opportunities for those interested in them, including suggestions about zealy, galxe,...
871  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What if we had only one language? on: December 01, 2023, 05:34:29 AM
So I have been wondering what if we had only one language?

What if all the countries of the world speaks just one language, would it have brought peace and unity in the world?

What's even the scientific explanation to the different languages we have in the world?
Actually, I don't think that language is a problem of conflict in the world, see it as a tool to bring people together, and language differences are not a challenge for people to become peaceful.

The main factor causing conflict is opposing views, stubbornness becomes conflict and causes unwanted things.

If you think scientists need to use a single language, understand that scientific interpretation does not depend only on conventional theories, its logic is always conveyed so the recipient can understand it.

So if we want more peace, it's not about unifying the language, we need to change human morality first, eliminating greed - hatred - selfishness - confusion - doubt. I believe we will naturally find that peace.
872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Risking 1% in Gambling on: December 01, 2023, 02:19:48 AM
Excessive security does not make gambling more interesting, because there are no rules to follow when spending money on gambling games. I might be willing to spend 10% of my monthly income on betting, but of course it doesn't happen often, and gambling doesn't force me to play, and I want to actively seek comfort when in contact with it. But I absolutely believe this strategy's recommendations can be applied to those pursuing this field in a strategic way to bring in new revenue streams. Perhaps this is just a small part of the entire guide to money management here.

I gotta agree with this, if we aren't risk taker then we shouldn't be gambling. 1% is quite low for majority of the gamblers, and since majority aren't earning huge salary on a monthly basis, that 1% might not even excite them anymore.

Maybe we should start with asking how much as the average salary on majority of the gamblers. My wide guess is less than $1000... So 1% of that, just guess, the answer will give you an interest not to gamble anymore.

This percentage if followed will only discourage gamblers from enjoy this entertainment thing.
Yep, perhaps this strategic approach would be suitable for those who gamble on a daily basis, and even if a month's total loss is above the applied level, about 30% of the monthly salary is spent on gambling. But still more realistic is the issue of whether management really ensures that it will not stop when it fails. I believe that many people who are passionate about gambling will not be alert enough to maintain the original rules.

For me, gambling inspiration is only used occasionally, maybe on weekends with sports betting or online and offline casinos. But I know that many people are also professionals at gambling, but that is not what I pay attention to in this field.
873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why sports betting? on: November 30, 2023, 02:54:12 PM
With hundreds or probably thousands of games online, I'd like to ask why would you choose sports betting?

I believe that sports betting has become more popular here in the forum since most gambling sites, our reputable gambling sites are already sports betting on the menu. So, out of curiosity ( don't want to assume), what are the reasons why you fall in love with sports betting?

Moreover, I like to know if you really believe you can win in sports betting in the long run, or you just really think no chance because every game can be win by luck, sports betting is not exemption.
I'm not someone who regularly bets on sports, but I still occasionally spend money to bet on my favorite teams. Even if they lose, I still feel happy. It could also be following a trend, because I remember during the football tournament, I spent money on almost every match, but honestly, it was just playing along with my colleagues, sometimes with friends. My old friend also had bets on the score to decide who would pay for the entire party.

For me, luck may appear, but it will not last, and especially if I feel any shady things, I will immediately stop. I once received a big lesson from my own relatives, which is to owe money when losing money in betting, and that is the reason why I have always been clear about playing to relax, not to make money.
874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if Bitcoin shutdown? on: November 30, 2023, 04:55:21 AM
I am just wondering, what will happen if Bitcoin shutdown? Will the market crash? How about the effect of this to altcoins? Can government shutdown Bitcoin? I have a lot of question about this matter, because who knows, right? Also, how about hackers shutdown Bitcoin? What are your thought here? Let's discuss this.
I'm still here after so many events against and against the work of Bitcoin, and there is simply nothing to worry about because of the skepticism at a time when the initial scale has passed, and now we are facing wide-ranging acceptance. The fact that many people are concerned about some things is inherently just a scare tactic Smiley to manipulate the psychology of the crowd. Remember that anything cannot bring satisfaction to everyone, so there will still be those who will stubbornly argue against bitcoin. But let them be, those of us who care about bitcoin will work together, and those who don't like it, let them be, because the truth is exposed before their eyes.
875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think that this is aperfect analogy of how gambling addiction starts? on: November 30, 2023, 04:49:03 AM
It's interesting to see some people's analysis of dopamine in the gambling area here,

The operating principles that I basically understand bring comfort, excitement, joy,... and they will react like a series of equations that require the conditions under which we operate to satisfy us. And with gambling, perhaps it's the greed for money, it feels as if we get everything from gambling, but the slaps that follow are losses. Perhaps when the addict has become dependent on doing that activity, they do not have much awareness to assess the level of the problem. Only to the point where the destruction is big enough for them to realize their mistake, but sometimes things are too late for them to save, and many bad stories in life follow that scenario.
876  Economy / Economics / Re: Black Friday deals and your plan to hold bitcoins. on: November 30, 2023, 04:40:19 AM
Although Black Friday is commonly associated with sellers offering huge discounts to customers, is this really true?

Black Friday is an excellent time to buy only what you need, not what you want. The event's psychology is to give consumers greater purchasing power and encourage unnecessary spending.
From a seller's perspective, this is an opportunity to increase sales quickly, and usually Q4 consumption statistics reach a number many times larger than the whole year's journey.

I'm not sure about everyone's shopping behavior, but for me, even if it's not Black Friday, I will still buy what I need. And I honestly don't need anything new right now so I'm just watching people buy everything.

For example, a lot of individuals or bitcoin holders may sell significant amounts of their cryptocurrency during this time because they wish to purchase items that will affect their investments. Black Friday deals can affect your plan to hold bitcoins, and as an investor, you have to be careful and be disciplined enough to control yourself.
I've only heard a lot about plans to hold and accumulate more when prices drop, but I'm not too worried about price manipulation in this market. And this is an investment market, not a consumption market, so don't get too caught up in things that everyone labels themselves as discounted.

878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: P2p market not bitcoin centric on: November 30, 2023, 04:19:54 AM
Don't CEX platforms help you solve that?

Basically I see user behavior is switching from crypto to stablecoin and then fiat, usually as far as I know, this is the common way p2p works.

But of course there will still be some direct support tools without going through many other intermediaries, but the scale and safety will make many people worried.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How high will your altcoin go? check it out with this tool on: November 30, 2023, 04:15:21 AM
I think it can be useful in some cases and can also be convenient for beginners to visualize their expected goals, but for me, this tool is a bit over-important when judgments are easily made. In addition, speculating in a positive direction is not really honest with the market because the volatility of this market is very large, but if there were some other upgraded features to research, I think it would be more interesting just guesswork.
Because I can't remember exactly where a website similar to this has appeared, but as many people have expressed before, the speculation is too optimistic. Anyway, this is something that I think many people will find convenient.

880  Economy / Economics / Re: When the world is evolving, follow the trend. on: November 30, 2023, 02:06:50 AM
As much as we hope that the old and traditional systems to our way of life goes away, there also comes a threat to human survival with the rapid growth of technological advancement.
It’s not new in our time that the developments happening within the AI industry has created a need for worry over the fate of reality and what jobs would be left for the rest of human population.

Yeah, times have changed and as such, it is hoped that if you hope to survive, you change with it but, we don’t need so much change at every level or at a pace that defies natural or cautious order to its translation.
I see it as changing and always active, and those of us who use it will always need to upgrade our awareness, ethics,... to use any tool at any time and re-evaluate which one is suitable for our lives. The timeline of history that we know is really limited, as there are many things for which we still do not have specific answers. To me, if you look at it from a knowledge perspective, it is infinite and people find it and apply it to life simply as an adaptation. There are logical things from natural science that make us more stubborn about the truth of life, but rather, everything that appears around us is a reflection of people's perception of life.

In terms of AI issues, it's also consistent with what I talked about earlier, the adaptation of those tools. Just comparing back a bit to the period where we had not yet found the application of the power source, it was clear that it was still the same and the problem was created by humans.
