41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India to ban all cryptocurrencies - No need to panic though on: February 01, 2018, 11:28:27 AM
How? Will they ban internet?

I guess they will send a policeman to every household, schools and companies across India and the coops will search for cryptos on every HDDs, USB sticks, scraps of paper and cloud accounts. Probably they will finish in 200-300 years Smiley.
42  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will the cities of the future look like? on: February 01, 2018, 11:05:32 AM
Most likely something based on the US city designs. Increasingly tall office, shopping, entertainment and residential complexes in the city centre for the rich (who likely to have second homes on the countryside), heavily guarded walled communities on the perimeters with shopping malls, parks, sport facilities, schools and hospitals for the middle class, close to that and maybe close to the city centre some better areas for the skilled workers and young professionals, and large slums in between with huge run down residential complexes for the lower classes.
43  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think: in Russia there is a dictatorship? on: January 31, 2018, 05:28:49 PM
Putin seems to be a sort of benevolent dictator, but Russia definitely needed a strongman to clean-up all that mess what was left behind after the Yeltsin era. Anyway, who cares as long as the majority of Russians like him.
44  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a $500 PayPal loan for 3-6 months. $700 BTC collateral on: January 31, 2018, 04:58:11 PM
Lmao, this is the first I've seen someone offering a cam show as interest.

On topic, I can fill this loan under the following conditions;

1. Interest with be 1% per month
2. If bitcoin drops to under 105% of loan amount in value, then I can sell it to recoup my money.
3. You can sell your cam show to somebody else.

Actually probably Joey (or one of his reincarnations) was the first back in 2013. Some old-timers might remember him Smiley.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook ban ads for cryptocurrencies and ICO'S, what will be the effect? on: January 31, 2018, 04:01:08 PM
"...what will be the effect?"

Nothing. Scammers, shills and bounty hunters will move to other SM sites.
46  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a loan of about $250 via debit card or credit card on: January 30, 2018, 02:54:52 PM
Fishy. Wouldn't be easier to ask for $250 loan with BTC collateral, and then buy that camera for your friend?

That's exactly what I'm doing, lol. You can't "transfer" money from a debit card so I'm just asking someone to buy it instead.

You can buy Amazon gift cards here on BTT for BTC.

48  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the reasons to support war? on: January 25, 2018, 03:25:26 PM
34th rule of acquisition: "War is good for business."

...and it always been for those who supplied stuff to the armies.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥[ANN][AIRDROP]🔥[ICO] |ETHERLEND| 🔥 LENDING PLATFORM - EARN UP TO 5% DAILY 🔥 on: January 25, 2018, 02:59:06 PM
The schema seems to be pretty much the same as the Bitconnect ponzi, so I expect that the result will be also the same.
50  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Supporting the idea of Euthanasia on: January 24, 2018, 11:05:18 PM
In the last century we've seen too many cases when a right became a recommendation first and later an expected behaviour :/. Also the legislators and doctors are not saints. They are just everyday humans with everyday flaws and euthanasia is a thing what can be too "profitable" and too easy to abuse. In this world if something is abusable then that used to be abused.

You can print your own paper wallet(s): https://www.coindesk.com/information/paper-wallet-tutorial/
52  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think about being Vegetarian/Vegan ? on: January 24, 2018, 12:31:15 PM
For me more veggies/vegans means shorter queues at the butcher. I'm OK with that Smiley.
53  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: January 24, 2018, 11:15:44 AM
Yes, and no. Yes, we are warming up, no because of it's still a lot colder than the previous three warm periods 3200, 2000 and 900 years ago and well within the normal temperature variations. Also, please note that we are nearing the end of the current (usually 10000 year long) interglacial period and heading towards a usually 90000 year long glacial period. Please check those f*ckin' historical/geological temperature records before crying about Gloooobal Waaaarming We Aaaall Gooona Dieee.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a 100X opportunity? on: January 18, 2018, 12:44:22 PM
I'm sorry I don't like this ICO. The website of fluidledger is built using Weebly which looks like a crap, they could have hired a good web designer to build up their site and also tokens are based on Waves platform which is used by almost 90% of scam projects.

LIBEL

I wonder if the founder of Waves (DEX) would be happy with what you say

Actually he's right. As one of the initial Waves ICO participants I'm watching what happening on Waves since the beginning and I can confirm that 80-90% of the tokens on the Waves network are scams or worthless crap. Unfortunately it's too easy and cheap to make a new asset on Waves.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a 100X opportunity? on: January 18, 2018, 12:31:22 PM
That white paper is rather sketchy without too many solid plans and facts. Actually it's not a white paper as WPs should explain the reasons why the devs think their plan is good, it should contain technical details and some sort of market analisys too. No sign of any of these, just the same stuff what you can see on the site. I suggest grabbing your free tokens (maybe you can make a few free WAVs if you are quick) but I wouldn't invest into such an obvious scam. Even if they promising 100x ROI Smiley.

The 100X was a misunderstanding and it was not said by Fluidledger.
The founder has said on this site it is not a scam
You say it is a scam: That is Libel

Oh! The founder has said on his site it is not a scam... Wow! Then this must not be a scam indeed, as the founder clearly said it isn't Cheesy. Are we making the screenplay for Idiocracy 2 here?

Could someone explain me in simple plain english WTF is that "crypto-healthcare Human-AI model", please? Sounds like marketing BS but maybe it makes sense for someone.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ripple a true Cryptocurrency? on: January 18, 2018, 10:56:22 AM
On a technical level it's a cryptocurrency indeed, but a centralized corporate one. I guess we'll see more of this kind in the future.

59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: January 18, 2018, 10:19:58 AM
Paycoin (by GAW) was a similar scam, however XPY was traded for a long time after it was busted, and even after Garza pleaded guilty of fraud (it's still traded on Yobit). Hope dies last.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: what are the best exchange sites? on: January 17, 2018, 09:29:28 PM
Poloniex (when it's working), Bittrex, Cryptopia (but the volume is a bit low)
