401  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla buys $1.5 billion in Bitcoin on: February 08, 2021, 04:28:29 PM
No doubt that Elon is this powerful to actually move the price on his own, by his influence, just like Dogecoin is right now, so does Bitcoin, of course I can never say it's all him since we also have investors and buyers who seem to love Bitcoin, the price would definitely increase more as days passes by, just imagine Tesla itself buying that amount of Bitcoin is just crazy, and it definitely is good for the market.
402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was left behind with btc market. on: February 07, 2021, 03:30:54 AM
Clearly you missed out the great bull run of 2020, but that doesn't mean you can catch up to what could happen soon and in the next bull run you can definitely catch up, and don't just buy Bitcoin, feel free to roam around the market and see what other coin has to offer you, if you have the financial capability to buy Bitcoin, then try other cryptocurrencies as well, ETH looks promising and so as Dogecoin, but BTC is still #1 without a doubt.
403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I introduced cryptocurrency to my friends by using DOGECOIN on: February 05, 2021, 04:29:50 PM
For me, DOGE has always been a joke and I didn't pay attention to its existence. But in connection with the latest events, I had to study a lot of information and understand why the demand for this coin is so great. This article https://cryptogeek.info/en/blog/dogecoin-gains-800-percent-in-one-day helped me with this, if you are interested, you can read it.

I read the article and it's crazy to see how one person makes the market move, the influence of Elon Musk is quite big that he made this much movement for Dogecoin, +800% is no joke at all.

As an amateur web dev myself, I honestly like how simple and elegant it looks, been using an addon on my chrome for a dark theme and I actually tried making a forum with 3 themes, just a random forum for my colleagues, and I like what you did there on the navigation bar, it looks good!  Grin
406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I always return to Bitcoin on: February 03, 2021, 04:20:20 PM
We're almost the same, I completely took my mind off of Bitcoin for about a year and a half, made a comeback this 2020 realizing how much I was actually losing, I could have made good profit, I honestly thought that year 2018 frustrated me hard on how low the price was not realizing how big of a pump it would made after 2 years, such a big waste but I guess it's better to be late than never.  Cool

One of the best campaign managers in the forum, no doubt.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gamers can earn money ????? on: January 31, 2021, 05:12:16 PM
Currently playing games will only waste someone's time especially the pay is not too much, because in my opinion it is better now to spend time on things like trading, because market conditions are suitable for doing that, so make your time more valuable now.

Exactly what a boomer would say, technically, investing on that project is a waste of time if you'd put everything in there, as a gamer/content creator/streamer, you have to be flexible, you can't just put your soul on that project alone, some streamers may try out using KOHIMA but as big as the gaming industry is now, and that so many platforms are actually out there like Twitch.tv, Facebook Gaming which also includes their own currency to fuel up streamers and give them earnings, so I don't think it's a good idea to actually implement crypto and esports at the moment, but just to clarify things from those who don't known how much money these "gamers" earn in a month is much even higher than the salary of a working man, sure, you can get good profit when in trading, but not as stable as a streamer there is, yes, it's hard to work your way up, especially with the competition and the number of people moving in to the gaming industry, but once you are up there, the pay, the sponsors, the tournaments, they are endless, and they can definitely secure your future with the amount of money that they are earning.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Tesla Fight! on: January 30, 2021, 07:57:51 PM
Tesla is going hot right now, that's one of the reasons why the dumping is continuous, both are young and Tesla has the potential to actually surpass Bitcoin, but even with Elon's influence, those who do not know him or actually is not close to him would definitely invest in Bitcoin, the marketcap does look good around Tesla but Bitcoin overall is doing better than Tesla, will sti observe if the pumling continues or will it dump big time.
411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks hope to issue their own "bitcoins" to fight BTC on: January 30, 2021, 07:48:31 PM
It's actually happening, more and more people are actually switching in to that cashless lifestyle by banks providing digital currencies in order to make transactions much more easier, while these are being implemented (well, in my country, it is still being developed), I don't think it can ruin Bitcoin and cryptocurrency that much, it's just fiat currency switching into the digital platform, all is the same and people would likely use this method in order to make transactions more convenient and fast, If they are trying to outrun cryptocurrency, I don't think it's gonna happen.
412  Economy / Economics / Re: after gamestop's short squeeze, reddit turns to doge. 600%+ today on: January 30, 2021, 06:51:08 PM
And that's the power of Elon Musk, he's not only rich and famous, he's also smart, and this is what to expect with Doge's price, going up and even more so today, great news for Dogecoin and I'm glad Elon gave exposure to this quite "underrated" cryptocurrency, let's see how far the pump will go!
413  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot going to Kill Ethereum? on: January 30, 2021, 04:06:35 PM
You can call out investors all you want but thinking about beating Ethereum is a joke if that's the main reason on why Polkadot is established, Ethereum has worked its way to the top, also for other coins, Polka has reached that price already, that's honestly not bad, but I'll be waiting in the next few months and see if they'd be consistent or a one hit wonder, I'm not against Polkadot, I'm just saying not to overhype it that much, it's still too early.
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin writes it's name in the world of sports. on: January 30, 2021, 03:22:23 PM
And just to add a little more information since we're talking about sports, in the esports scene, more pros are actually advertising cryptocurrency through the betting sites that they are endorsing, whether it be Bitcoin or ETH, they not only buy and sell crypto but they also endorse it to their audience, mostly these youtubers/pro players actually are the ones who highly endorse cryptocurrency and at the same time buy it for themselves to use it on the betting sites, the game I'm talking about here as well is CSGO
415  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most discreet way to hide your crypto from thieves? on: January 29, 2021, 05:21:02 PM
A hardware wallet is the most reliable, storing it there not only does it gives you security, it also gives you the ability to store it offline, not only that but you also have the ability to store it somewhere safe, a nano sd card is actually good, no doubt it's a practical way to store your crypto, the only problem left is to store it somewhere safe and somewhere in the house where a thief won't expect it.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I introduced cryptocurrency to my friends by using DOGECOIN on: January 29, 2021, 04:53:54 PM
I wonder why do you think dogecoin a good idea in introduction

Came back here to actually check and reply to some posts that are actually convincing and shed light to those who actually wants to know why.

I honestly think Dogecoin is a good start, everyone loves that 'doge meme' that trended way back on the year 2012, 9 years later, people are still using it as a meme and it has upgraded, just like Dogecoin, it's not only a meme and in the future, Dogecoin looks to be a lot promising than the other alts and has the potential to surpass them, so I think not only for the memes and for me to lure my friends onto cryptocurrency, I did it because I know Dogecoin has that potential to surpass other alts, or even Bitcoin, but that's a wild guess, and speaking of Dogecoin, there's a sudden pump to it, let's see if this continues.
417  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is there nobody talking about DOGE? on: January 29, 2021, 04:14:01 PM
About a week ago, nobody was literally talking about DogeCoin, I made a topic about it last month I think, there were people actually saying that DogeC is dying, well, it's not, used to be a meme but I think it has a long way to go, some investors are actually looking at DogeC as something promising in the future, it's not a common pump and dump, this is a huge step forward for Doge.

Here's my topic about DogeC if you're interested: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5301914.msg55878713#msg55878713
418  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin reach $50k by the end of 2021? on: January 29, 2021, 03:30:14 PM
Way back 2017, we had multiple spikes from the price of BTC, and during 2020 as well, hitting back-to-back ATHs, and the upcoming 2021 would definitely be the same, not only that it gained so many investors but the influence of BTC and these famous people like J.K. Rowling and Elon Musk continues to be of support and influence with cryptocurrency giving Bitcoin more exposure to people, hence, giving the platform more popularity, I honestly think it can even go beyond the $50k mark.
419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk adds #Bitcoin to his Twitter bio on: January 29, 2021, 03:10:57 PM
Just because someone places hashtag on his twitter account doesn't make people go and buy bitcoin.
Elon isn't just a random guy. It's not for nothing that he has succeeded in his auto endeavours. He's an influential billionaire with a modern day touch. Isn't he the wealthiest man on earth at the moment? We should be in awe if his action shouldn't spark a kind of reaction on any issue, especially tech ones. A lot of investors trust his sense of judgment, seeing his electric cars and the wonders he has been able to perform there at a time when it is almost impossible to have such autos run on earth. Putting Bitcoin on his profile shows support and that means he too should stack in possession. If he has, that means (by conclusion) Bitcoin is an investment worthy to make. I guess all that factored in is the reason for the sudden bullishness in Bitcoin. That's quite understandably.

Elon is a powerful guy and an influential icon, even the youngsters (like me) follows him, not because of his knowledge and being smart alone, but because of him being an all-around person, and investors would definitely trust in him, although I have to admit that he can be a part of this spike, but not entirely him being the main reason.
420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Uncovering the mystery of lost Bitcoins on: January 28, 2021, 06:12:16 PM
Salute to these wallet hunters, if it wasn't for them, these lost 'bitcoins' would have been lost forever, I love the article and it seems to be an underrated one, most people often reply to nonsensical posts, and it's heavily true that most of the cases on losing one's wallet is through human error, though the OP may have missed some keypoints, I do think that it is helpful to newbies not to make the same mistakes listed above.
