401  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Insight on Bitcoin reigning over our global currencies? on: August 04, 2017, 01:46:47 PM
Good day po..Any insights on Bit coin or any cryptocurrencies reigning over our traditional global currencies? In effect possibility of wiping or phasing out our monetary exchange mediums?

Siguro isa na rin ang pagiging decentralisado at sabi it could reduce the demand for dollars na syang makakaapekto sa rate of circulation. At sabi pa dun sa isang statement na nagsasabing users will not need third party institutions to protect their funds. In this time of economic instability, rising inflation rates and the implementation of negative interest rates, users shouldn’t trust banks and financial establishments to store money.

Scum  Cheesy , he just want we invest to hyip, doubler site after that he gone with our money

This methods like referrals and Ponzi scheme and ads and pyramiding is trendy on almost every sites and FB pages nowadays. Sitting pretty and waiting for your money to get double because of inviting people and placing it itger your listing and investments scam is not a good thing. Two btc is quite a large money and everyone can start a little business with that. If you are in trading then that is a good amount. We've tired of this, and if people don't have something new to offer then don't offer something like scamming the pocket of others. Money is hard earned, don't be a degenerate.
403  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the future on: August 04, 2017, 08:55:11 AM
2036, I am sure John Titor said something about currency being digital or something like this.

Because blockchain is spreading like virus in the society I think it will be earlier than 2036, we have been thought in school in our information technology that it is slowly being implemented, but this blockchain technology can offer more than just cryptocurrencies. The new way of storing, receiving, sending information using blockchain will soon take over the old technology and will soon noticed by those people who don't believe in it for the meantime. 2030 below is my bet.
404  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Btc price on: August 03, 2017, 02:47:31 PM

405  Local / Pamilihan / Re: SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN on: August 03, 2017, 01:43:07 PM

406  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: August 03, 2017, 12:08:20 PM
I don't think so, maybe just to learn how it works. But not going all into.

This has been one of my experiences in the people I told about bitcoin. Some are even eager in the first but fad in the middle. And some don't believe in blockchain technology. Later they will realized that they've missed a very good technology in it's early pace and we are tired of this lesson. Go for something that's promising and if someone is just diligent enough to learn and read about block chain then they will have an interest on the technology.
407  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: August 03, 2017, 10:40:13 AM
A cashless world is inevitable and Cryptocurrency started it. It has been accepted by the world but there can be a BIG pros and cons. Pros are the things you can easily transact to things and cons are if people are unaware and not that knowledgeable to the digital world leading to hacking.

The same goes for the fiat system. Terms like if we're not careful is just an excuse. Yup I get the point that the digital world is more prone to hacking or to data stealing and imitations, but even if we want this or not this is where the future is leading and we must be literate in this kind of language. The cashless society have been implemnted and being implemented in different countries and we're not stopping it.
408  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: July 30, 2017, 10:00:02 PM
According to defination emotion is an instinctive or intuitive feeling as distinguished from reasoning or knowledge. This means that the emotion is something spontaneousness and based in our experienxe. Most of the times you can't choose how do you feel or to remove a special emotion, but you can control your reaction if you are experienced and mastered in practise.

Good point Mariahh! Our emotion is just right there, now our prime duty is to know how to control it for our benefits. This is especially true to soldiers in the battlefield - they feel fear and terror of the war and yet, they choose to fight on. Hence, just like soldiers, we can also control that fear and emotions towards our desired goal.

We humans tend to go beyond limitations when we are out of options and still we are dying to continue even if we only have our own selves. Emotions and decisions and free will is the reason why humans reach this point, this is the reason why people succeed and on the other hand this is the reason also why we humans fails. Emotions is especial especially when we are using it in a good way.
409  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OAX] openANX - Real World Application of Decentralized Exchanges on: July 30, 2017, 09:36:11 PM
OpenAnx is decentralized exchange to provide best services to other coins/tokens. That is the reason of seeing delay in listing on other exchanges in my opinion. They are doing work on their own platform more. It is necessary to let the market decide the value of the token by adding it on other exchanges. They have plans for everything surely. We need to wait for next updates.

One of the reason why I've joined open anx campaign is that they are offering a promising project that can rarely be seen these days. And there is a second crown sale and the project will work out in the next years so I will watched this and hold the coins.
410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: July 30, 2017, 08:49:34 PM
Pau Gasol will sign a three-year, $48 million contract with the San Antonio Spurs. The third year is partially garanteed. The news was reported by Adrian Wojnarowski

Good for pau and hopefully the spurs can resurrect their glory days and compete well next season as it's becoming one way finals for the past few seasons. We need a change and the spurs can build a strong team capable of competing in the finals next season.

Spurs has a great coach. In terms of defense I think is spurs is unparalleled. Pau cant keep up when the games pace is fast and some spurs players are really past on their prime. Im hoping that Aldridge will do well in the next season. Some people are saying that he doesn't do well in the finals well the truth is the pressure and the defence is on aldridge when Kawhi got injured that is the reason because he has a lower shooting percentage. They need some pointguard or a very good shooting guard in order to win a finals. Well if leonard will improve more then they will have a shot to victory.

As a Phoenix Suns fan, I want to join Kyrie Irving in my team Phoenix Suns for Eric Bledsoe and 2018-19 Draft Pick. My team line-up will be D. Booker, K. Irving, J. Jackson, M. Chriss ( Center Tyson Chandler). This will a playoff team for the Western Conference! Mark my post. Quote this post!

Kyrie Irving for PHX Suns!
I don't think so, they are all talented players but they do not have the talent to be considered as superstar.
Also, what is important is not the players only but the coaching as well, the warriors for example will not be a championship team
if steve kerr did not take over the team.

Phoenix Suns was part of the Cleveland Cavaliers' "best possible trade packages for Kyrie Irving". So why not?

This is worth reading and might give you some fearless forecast about where Kyrie should land.

http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/index.ssf/2017/07/cleveland_cavaliers_best_possi.html

Brandon Knight got injured so I think this will play and may accelerate the trade if all parties are still interested. The one I read (Bledsoe and Carmelo Anthony) to the Cavs was not very enticing in my opinion, I think the Cavs should get more than that for Irving, I would especially prefer some deal with the Spurs (Aldridge, Green, Mills, etc). Carmelo and making a three way trade with the Knicks is still on the table but I just don't think Melo has that kind of value, similar to Derrick Rose, yes, that would be a great addition for the Cavs, but giving up Irving for "only" Melo and Bledsoe doesn't cut it.

Either way, if the Cavs could get I don't know...Aldridge and Mills, or Aldridge and Bledsoe for Irving (and maybe another role Cavs player like Shumpert) we can argue that Cleveland could even be a better team without Irving this year...

Cleveland gets: Carmelo Anthony

I have a hunch that lebron and carmelo will be not in a chemistry and they will not perform their best if they are in a tag team. I think what cleveland needs is a good point guard like kyrie.

bags
jewelry

i would like this things to buy using my btc. Because these things makes me happy and satisfies me.

When it cones to jewelry I would like to buy a lot of gold. About a 10 ounce gold will do because it is one of the best investment in the world. Its material value is unparalleled and there's a humor that gold will be on of the former next old great currency again when paper money lose its value.
Outdoor equipment especially sports equipment is pretty good too because I'm planning when Im going to make a house is that there is a sports area where everyone can play basic games like volleyball, badminton, basketball.
It is not included but I would like to buy some collectors item too like michael Jordan's signature jersey or some antic script of book or some old age items because they're value is growing through time too.
It is not included but Im going to build some high end PC when i have a lot of cash, because its one of my goals and a good gaming chair. Grin
412  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: July 30, 2017, 06:42:04 PM
Having the right skill set, reading charts/orderbooks, following the right news, understanding sentiment and many other things if done correctly can give you an edge but that is all it is. No guarantees without insider info.

True. It takes more than what we think in order to do that, in order to predict the flow of the game ( and even youve consider a lot of stuff there's no guarantee that it will be 100%0. Some people thought especially newbies that trading is easy because they thought that it's just guessing. Well some traders spent hours blankly just to have a right choice on their trade and some are reading some articles and speculations and the coin can bring before making an action. There's no such thing as a perfect trader and sometimes they don't know what to do because sometimes all the alts is going down and it's really painful to see all the reds.
There is no guarantee because there is one thing that is unpredictable, it is the emotions and decision of people in when to sell and buy.
413  Economy / Speculation / Re: prediction on 2018 bitcoin will become on: July 30, 2017, 12:10:01 PM
who know bitcoin will become in 2018 i think its not possible it become 50k USD  Grin Grin

This topic should be moved in the "Speculation" category.
If Segwit2x is successfull and bitcoin transactions become cheaper and faster(or even instant),BTC
will rise to 10K USD.Reaching 50K USD is doable during the next 5 years,if there are no major hard forks and no dirty government and central bank tricks(no attempts to destroy bitcoin).

This is true. The August 1 or what will happen in August will be the next page of btc and if sucessfull, the price will be double or triple. The 2018 mark on 5000 dollars is just a speculation and I think government and other corporations will take btc seriously if it hits the 5000 dollars and above and they will try to enter it's world and this will be a tough battle on both sides.

Government can make a big impact like making btc illegal or make media to try to destroy btc and I hope that won't happen.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has gambling affected your life in a good way? on: July 29, 2017, 01:21:47 PM
No. Not at all.
The motto of gambling is "shortcut to huge sum of money"
which is exactly opposite of how life works.

Gamblers are generally a poor manager of money.

They are trying their best to manage their money but how can you manage something that's slowly fading? We all know that gambling might earn you to have a huge amount but it might even earn you to a huge loss.

Winning or losing is the only choice. Deuce is unlikely to happen. We've only seen such success in game!bling but there are so many losses and ugly images behind closed doors in the gambling industry.
415  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What places do you do your shopping online? on: July 29, 2017, 12:32:05 PM
olx , quikr

Too bad that olx is the only shopping store is the one I can count on in my country. Well Amazon and other reputable online store is good too but they have a high fee so that I only go to olx. I'm hoping that lazada.ph will soon accept bitcoins as a mode of payment. I'm a Lazada regular customer so this will be a great help for me if they are going to accept cryptocurrencies.
416  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: July 29, 2017, 11:16:04 AM
I think we can teach child play a game and earning Bitcoin, it look like when kids play a game and earning their score, but I not think we can teach children know Bitcoin is a Digital cash or Cryptocurrencies, wait they grow up and be capable of realizing it

The limits of their understanding is the limit of their world.
Of course we can't teach a mere child about block chain and stuff and how trading work if they are below 7 or 8 ( if the child is above average then he will barely scratch the surface ). Personality is the best foundation that we can teach. From the use of money and what money can do in a good way or in a bad way or how can we view for the kids the power of money.
We must instill in their hearts that it's not always about wealth in the end. The adventure is what matters and what you've done in that adventure.
417  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: ANO MAS OK "INVEST SA BTC OR MAG SAVE SA BANK" on: July 29, 2017, 09:40:48 AM

418  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Let's talk about Alt Coins on: July 29, 2017, 06:19:42 AM

419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: July 29, 2017, 03:09:46 AM
Did you heard the story of a burn building in London? Cause of the fire a guy lost 1000+ BTC which were in his paper wallet. So I would not call a paper wallet as 100% protected after such case. Yes, the possibility that it will happen to you is a little, but...

If you put it that way, then no form of cold storage would help in such situation, unless you have the paper wallets or engraved metals with your keys stored in a safe that can withstand insane temperatures. I am quite up to date with the latest Bitcoin related news, but I haven't heard anything about someone losing 1000 BTC due to the fire in London -- mind sharing an article link?

I think a basement with a blastproof and fireproof vault will do? Haha. Well its really hard to keep a 1000 BTC and sadly he is so unlucky to have a fire in a house. Im hoping that the story is just a myth or else that BTC will be long gone. We should use graphene instead in engraving Bitcoins in plain surface but for the meantime Im using electrum because even big investors is just using electrum. I wonder what august 1 can do to our btc but Im hoping for the best.

Hardware wallet for the win! I am loving the Nano S. Easy use, easy backup and just a well designed system.
Im thinking of buying hardware wallet too but I cant decide which one? Im thinking nano or trezor? Which one is better?
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: July 29, 2017, 02:28:23 AM
No , i think gambling is not a place for newbie because newbie still in beginner with collecting bitcoin but if play gambling have a chance they will be greedy and their hard work will be vanished in gambling because don't know about rules.

Its like entering the lions den. Its okay if the gambling section is like tickets or lottery game that uses pure luck, you can sin by luck but if youre going into some serious gambling like poker and other card games, or if you go to trading when you are gambling in a very precise manner, you can reconsider if you are a newbie. Just have some skills and experience in that matter or else youre just throwing away your money.
If youre going to be in a risky game then make some preparations, if preparations wont do then use experience and control emotions, imagine a newbie with no preparations and experience. Chaos.
