401  Economy / Economics / Re: Turning the Corner Into 2023 on: January 04, 2023, 09:35:29 AM
I can say I am just in okay-ish stage. Maybe not expecting too much will bring you this type of emotion. There's just no news to hype the cryptocurrencies today. All eyes or on what the economy will be after what we experienced. i.e. pandemic, war, price hike, etc...
2023. Nah. I am on the mood of not expecting again, I just don't see it yet. Maybe after this year we could see some changes but right now all I want to happen is the necessities to go back at it's normal price (if there's such thing) or higher wages to suffice for the needs. Then possibly demands will come soaring again.
402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Factors that contribute to form addictive gambling. on: January 04, 2023, 07:30:05 AM
Even if I drink beer at home gambling online it didn't get me to a point to bet more than what I can afford. It's worst when I was in a casino back in the days and yes what you said could happen because the casino is like sucking you in more while you are losing your bets. Unlike at home, you can stand up, take out some of that bad luck, maybe jump or just watch a film and forget about it. It doesn't add more flavor on you to keep on betting because the surroundings are different. That's my opinion or should I say comparison.
403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 03, 2023, 02:56:04 PM
In the past I do constantly bet on dice but not anymore. There was a point that it got me so stressed out and I need to stop it. My luck was not there so it would be wise to just let it go. 3 BTC is a lot for one bet. Are you sure about that? I think it would require a KYC on a gambling site before you could make such a huge bet because this will enter the money laundering act unlike those who bets for 3 to 4 digits of USD.
A reputable sportsbook will definitely pay you, but I doubt you can do it the instant you want to put your bet, you may want to check the details first on how much the max bet is for a non-KYC bet.
404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 03, 2023, 01:50:16 PM
....
Right now, the Nuggets, Pelicans and Memphis are doing well, but comes in the playoffs, it's still all for the Warriors.
....
and yeah, come playoff time, who knows, with a healthy Curry and Wiggins, it might be a different Warrior team, upping up their level.
This is actually the most important point here. Playoffs belong to the team with the most available players in a lot of cases. You can also have a healthy Wiggins and Curry but will still be difficult if the likes of Poole and Thompson are sidelined due to some injury. The same goes for the other teams.
Zion Williamson for the Pelicans will be crucial because we have seen he can carry a team even without Brandon Ingram but of course it will still be better if he is healthy.
Nuggets without Jokic will not be a Nuggets team anymore. Luka Doncic too but last year they somehow made it work with Brunson, but he is a Knick now and I doubt Dinwiddie can carry the load.
Memphis Grizzlies without Ja Morant can also work it out and it was proved this season when he was resting for his knee injury, iirc.
405  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters, how much you really earned in the last two years? on: January 02, 2023, 01:16:16 PM
I stopped supporting them years ago because of the fact said by OP. It's worthless, they don't even pay most of the times, they do shitty projects that has no future, they just run a scam project and run whenever they want. All the efforts in promoting them is just trash and worse, you are the one who will blamed by investors who believed about it.
In the past, there are legit developers who seeks a good future in cryptocurrencies, now, its all just about the money and it's sad.
406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting Types Newbies Should know About on: January 02, 2023, 09:25:56 AM
Parlay was one of the best things that happened in sports betting, imo. I understand the risk involved but if you have knowledge about what you are doing then it's going to be profitable for a gambler. Single betting in a single game is sometimes not enough and you are looking for more multiplication in your bet.
Injecting the parlay system really changed that kind of perspective.
Gamblers are known to take the risk, higher ones, so it's the best answer for that deficiency.
I am not sure if there is more to add, what was indicated do cover the basics.

Surely, we haven't got any thought about Nash's lack of experience as a head coach because we're too focused to the three drama queen that has been making headlines ever since they teamed up, after all, it was just Nash who can't control the superstars in his stable that he was once under his watch. I'm just glad that the Nets management managed to have the correct choice and keeping Durant in-exchange of freeing Nash. Made some sense why KD has been quite after firing Nash.
I still think Steve Nash is a good coach, maybe the Nets is not for him with veterans all over their roster. If given one more chance to lead a young team he will surely learn more on how to keep everything under control and maybe that will also add to his experience on how to manage them.
KD and Kyrie, two stars, veterans in the league, they want a respected coach or someone who will just stay silent if they both want the game to be in their shoulders when it's needed.
No play required, just give them the ball.

409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cashless Gambling, your thought? on: December 29, 2022, 03:47:42 PM
It's just the government to track those with lots of money so they can throw the damn tax to them. They want to know their customers. Cheesy
Sure, they will throw all the positive effect of it in news outlets and social media but there had always been the downside of this. They will just use that "gambling prevention" "lessen the minors gambling" and other stuff to make an alliance with parents that doesn't gamble but we know what it's real purpose behind the curtains. I am against it, and I suppose I could just stick with online gambling instead of that.
410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 29, 2022, 11:59:59 AM
That Denver Nuggets lost was frustrating. They survived the Kings for almost the whole period of the game without Murray and Gordon but those final minutes, the crucial ones are where they blew it. Good defensive trap by the Kings so I applaud them for that, Jokic was having a hard time against Sabonis and he cannot find help with his teammates, Michael Porter Jr. did well but it's different if Murray was there.
Both Fox and Sabonis had double-double but the best player of all was Monk who made the game winner FT, although it scared the Kings for missing the first.
411  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2022 Crypto Dead Projects List on: December 29, 2022, 11:23:34 AM
And eventually more will be listed there. Bankruptcy or just cannot endure what is happening in the market today and maybe until next year.
We don't see much of good news anymore, most are about rug pulls, scams, project closing down without prior notice to investors and a lot just could not survive the stagnant market.
Thanks for sharing the link though, really helpful.
412  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If your friend would tell you this... on: December 28, 2022, 03:30:08 PM
10k in BTC to make it $65k? I will tell him to shove it up his ass. First things first, how much will I get if I ever make it happen?
Next thing I want to know is why would he trust me with that amount? Where did he get the money? Is he stupid enough to let me handle such a big amount just to gamble it?
What if I lose?
I'd say, there's no such thing as a friend and if ever there is and he don't care how much will be gone in his pocket then I'd pick any and just put it all in.
413  Economy / Economics / Re: Save your environmental economic cycle on: December 27, 2022, 03:00:05 AM
Good advice. It's not different on what is happening in our place but I do understand why. Price comparison. Ever since the prices of necessities soared to an amount a regular salary cannot handle anymore, people look for options. Online stores are mostly suppliers who are directly selling their products to the people near them. The question of "why?" comes out. Simply because the retail stores are closing down. No one is buying in the small shop so the big shop will also feel the effect of it. That's the reason why they are forced to sell their products themselves.
Chain reaction.
414  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 26, 2022, 04:04:48 PM
This season, Aaron Gordon is without a doubt improving. He appeared to be a failure earlier in Denver. He shoots the ball only when necessary, which further improved his efficiency. The defense of Denver is not well-known, but with Gordon, they are getting close to achieving a balance between offense and defense.
If I am not mistaken he is on the list of the most improved player of the year.
Denver Nuggets suddenly became a championship caliber again mostly because their starters are back and healthy.
Murray was feeling it and he is dunking which means the mental problem after healing is gone. That means a lot for players who went through that phase.
Now, I am waiting for Porter Jr. to return from being their sharpshooter, he is not there yet but once that happens they will be one scary team.
415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are no cool games on: December 24, 2022, 04:00:44 AM
I think it's a cool idea for a cool game. Bookies who are promoting PVP type of games are the ones handling this kind of games but it doesn't have that much support yet. Most gamblers will choose sports gambling 1 versus 1 or team versus team rather than console games.
Before, there were tournaments being held for console fighting games but now they are not that popular anymore. So, this is going to be a problem if you are running a business. You know they need money flowing and there's little on that.
416  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is crypto staking? Is staking worth it? on: December 23, 2022, 04:06:03 PM
Passive income is always worth it but there are times when it goes into a bad situation.
Before, you could say to just stake anything but now it became more risky to do it as scams are happening left and right.
Giving someone the authority to keep your property with no real insurance will keep you from having a daily stressful life.
Right choices, filtered projects, yes for me but it should be well maintained to avoid sudden rekt.
417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 23, 2022, 03:04:23 PM
This season of NBA is just getting better and better right ? Pelicans finally woke up and got a win after 4 defeats in a row and that was a bit of karma right ? I mean , just stay humble , play your game , score points and let the stats speak for yourself instead of just showing off ( refer to Zion making that 180 wind mill dunk ).
They're at home that time, it's okay to do that. Its just other players are too dramatic about their own rules which is not even in the books.
If you are free to dunk and no is doing defense, then do so. The defense job is to keep you away from doing that, no D means it's a freebie.
It's not karma, it's called getting exhausted from shouldering the Pelicans offense while Ingram is out.
Back to Bulls drama as LaVine wants to leave as quick as possible and tensions on the Bulls squad are heating up very fast in the last 3 days and I do hope the management will find a way to make the players focusing on play-offs and let the drama out of the court when they play basketball but it will be hard as fans are not happy at all. Sad
He wants to be a Laker. But what does the Lakers have to offer for the trade with the Bulls? Nothing. Trade AD? That's suicide. If they do so, then it's just trading both players who are injury prone. I'd rather stick with AD who proved he can win games when he is healthy.
418  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino bonus is it worth it? on: December 22, 2022, 03:26:56 PM
It's not profitable but it's not also changing the wind. What I do is just neglect that it exist and be surprised if ever they will give something in return after you wage so much money in gambling. It's not like it's there to focus on just getting it, it's a bonus and I think there is no better to define it.
It feels better if you are not expecting something and it gives you joy if you receive them without knowing you already accumulated an amount that you never imagined. I think of it like a small piggy bank.  Grin
419  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is on the Verge To Slice Through $30,000 on: December 22, 2022, 03:37:00 AM
How I wish this would happen to zip the mouths of those who are making FUD but there's a chance we will close at a stagnant position of 16-18k and it would last until the end of this year until the first quarter.
We need to see economic change first, if prices of all necessities especially food are still soaring then we won't see demands in the investment category.
They'd rather save that money for now in case everything goes cheap again.
420  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 20, 2022, 02:35:39 PM
Warriors game later, like what Reggie Miller said, everywhere they go it's called the Warriors game, not the Knicks game in MSG or Lakers game in Crypto.com Arena. It's always going to be the Warriors game if they are up against them.
Now the big question. Can Jordan Poole repeat what he did against the Raptors or will this just be another game to give up without Steph Curry around?
I want to see a new face stepping up his game, maybe Moody, Lamb, or Kuminga. Just to fill the missing piece while their injured players are resting.
