401  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Semelhanças entre Leandro Mercado Bitcoin e Pirateat40 on: August 26, 2013, 12:37:04 AM
Conta para todos o que realmente aconteceu e vamos acabar com isso.

Ele roubou os vossos Bitcoins, foi o que aconteceu. Precisa dele pra confirmar isso? LOL
402  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Rain on: August 26, 2013, 12:33:35 AM
He changed the post.

Did he? Maybe that was because he realised he made a mistake and corrected it, then. Isn't that good? Or did the original suited your interests best?
Why don't you reply for real to xavier instead of trying to divert the subject to a mistake that was apparently corrected?

And boy, be polite to talk with me. I dont know you.

Go fuck yourself.
403  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Rain on: August 26, 2013, 12:08:07 AM
Friends,

I have secured an investigator to examine this operation, and now you all should simply face the facts:

No current depositor is ever going to receive any money from Bitcoin Rain.

Leandro has been desperately stalling & telling lies about "drawings for repayments" (really Leandro? a "lottery?") hoping that everyone here will simply give up, and move on.

If it makes it any easier to stomach; understand that your funds did not disappear in these recent weeks: They were simply consumed long ago (in a classic Ponzi scheme) to repay early investors their interest and withdrawals (of course other than what Leandro skimmed off for his personal use)

There never was a hacker, a theft, or anyone else at fault other than Leandro's creation of a Ponzi scheme (just like pirateat40)

You can shout at Leandro until the end of time (or until he shrinks off into the shadows) but you won't get any money from him - there is no more money left to further this Ponzi scheme.

It's over -- learn from it.

Sorry friend, but it is only your THEORY.

Shadows?? I am always here!

What you win with the posts like this??

L.

I can confirm that Leandro is a scammer and should have a scammer tag. This should, to be honest, be referred to the Scammer forum on bitcointalk.

I have business dealings in Brazil. My partner is ThiagoCMC, who is a moderator on the Portuguese forums. He unfortunately had to deal with Leandro last year, as a customer of "Mercado Bitcoin". Unforunately, Leandro stole his bitcoins and then claimed they were lost in a "theft". My partner lost 2,000 BTC.

Feel free to message ThiagoCMC about it. He speaks some English.

It is for this reason Thiago decided to set up Bitfication, which is a completely legitimate and honest - NON Ponzy Scheme - Bitcoin Exchange in Brazil.

I strongly recommend you to avoid dealing with Leandro or any of his associated businesses in the future. He is a known scammer and my client is *still* pursuing him for his money (now worth a lot more than it was last year).

He unfortunately had to deal with Leandro last year, in "Mercado Bitcoin". Unforunately, Leandro left the partnership and stole 2,000 BTC from my partner.

Huh

Man, are you crazy?

L.

Why are you twisting his words? That wasn't what he said... Where did the "left the partnership" part came from, your head?

1 in 570 chance of a Factoid showing. You get 1 Factoid for free if you're a Donator/VIP. Still pretty terrible, the odds are tiny.

When you put those numbers side by side with the forum pageviews the odds suddenly don't look as tiny as you want us to believe...
Let's get those numbers down.
429669026 pageviews since November 2011, so, 22 months give or take...
429669026÷22= 20460429 pageviews per month.
19530410÷30 = 682014 pageviews per day
651013÷24 = 28417 pageviews per hour
27125÷60 = 452 pageviews per minute

And please note that those are average numbers, and the current stats put those averages to shame if you bother to do the math.

More money is never bad. It may be useful someday. Having it sit around is good for the Bitcoin economy, actually: it represents the fact that the forum has provided a service but hasn't yet demanded much from the economy in return.

But some people donated with the understanding that their money would be put towards developing new forum software. There is more than enough money to have new forum software made now, but nothing is happening with it. That's the primary concern with the donation money.

Isn't this thread about advertisements? Why are you talking about the donations money now? When your initial argument doesn't cut it you just switch to a new one, is that it?
405  Other / Meta / Re: Advertisements on: August 25, 2013, 03:38:04 PM
Come on, this is getting ridiculous.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=273242.msg2987860#msg2987860

You're taking in $10k in a week and 70% of the money is doing nothing. It's not being used for new software or "other useful purposes" at all. And you're still allowing BFL to bid while smaller businesses get pushed out:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=273242.msg2986954#msg2986954

theymos, at least put a cap on the amount of slots someone can have in a month or similar.

The forum has loads of cash they should be supporting the crypto community  even if they gave away 1 slot a week to a small crypto business it would make people feel that they are doing at least something for the community

1 or 2 of the slots, probably just 1, are given for free for VIP's and Staff to insert an ad. Said slot is divided by all ads from VIP's and Staff.
I might be mistaken, but the above is what I seem to recall. I'm sure a better informed someone will drop by and confirm, deny, or correct what I said.
406  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] some BTC for Paypal on: August 25, 2013, 03:17:08 PM
Now, I just wonder why moderator has done a transaction with him.  Huh

'cause I needed $20 on Paypal and 'cause I don't give a flying fuck about Paypal liking BTC transactions or not.
Good enough reason for you? Was it any of your business to begin with?

Dont worry about Psy . He has something stuck up his ass today. Your question was very valid. And if Psy wasnt such a dick in regards to this post  he might realize that a MOD and HERO memeber should know better than to transact with someone like this, it sets a bad example and gives others the idea that it is okay.

Basically you endorse this guy Psy, I hope he doesnt turn out to be the scammer we all know he is.

No, I don't endorse him. I needed $20 on Paypal and got them. Deal went good, so far. What else do you want me to tell you? I knew the risk I was taking and decided to go for it, cause I really needed those $20 to pay for something I bought on ebay. Where did you read me saying that anyone else should blindly do business with him? Where is the endorsement? It seems the one with something stuck up his ass is you.

And FFS, leave me being a moderator out of it. I can only feel disgust for guys who do that(and maybe tell them to fuck off).
407  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] some BTC for Paypal on: August 25, 2013, 03:05:47 PM
If you are charged back, let us know

I will, for sure, if it happens.

I've done several small value transactions like this one before and so far not even 1 chargeback happened. I hope this one is not the first.

409  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 30 to 60 BTC to start up yet another gambling site. on: August 24, 2013, 12:44:14 PM
6 to 10 players per table * 20 to 30 tables * 60 hands per hour * 24 hours * 25 days per month * 2% to 5% rake. All ring or cash games.
I think you're being overly optimistic lol But good luck finding your investor.

BTW, you should use the following solution if you're using 13.04(at least on the 13.04 I'm using Tongue)
In 13.04 the .desktop file/shortcut disappears from the HUD when edited, so now I'm using the method below

Start it from the command line using the following command
Code:

You have that error on your site and it never finishes loading. Not waiting.

The jquery error is gone, but it took 30+ seconds for the first content to appear.

Dinheiro a mais no banco: 0
Tenho k esperar agora que o banco trate do pagamento?

Transferências SEPA demoram uns 5 dias úteis.

Errado.

417  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 1 week now on gox sepa transfers? (great time for arb ?) on: August 20, 2013, 06:24:48 PM
MtGox is even delaying deposits. A friend of mine has a €2000 deposit waiting to reach his MtGox account since July 17. He confirmed with bank Zachodny that the transfer was indeed credited to MtGox account and got the reference for it. MtGox is still giving excuses instead of crediting him the €2000 they owe him, plus €60 he had to pay to locate the transfer and get confirmation from MtGox's in Poland.

Why won't you use some exchange? MtGox has best prices. Face to face transactions with BTC are kinda funny  Cool

Sure, if he wants to wait 3 months for the money to hit his bank account he should try MtGox.

Off-Topic, MtGox stole a €2000 deposit from a friend of mine, and now, 1 month later is still "looking for the transfer", even after my friend spent €60 paying MtGox's bank to confirm the deposit was made, which they did.
MtGox is run by incompetent thieves, is my conclusion. Stay away!

So, the Big Brother(DHS) will run a full node? Good! Maybe they could run a Stratum server along with it, no?
