Yes it's consecutive but for the whole forum.
You can not view all posts due some limits " Trashcan,deleted,...etc".
Check out the latest replies you'll find in sequence:
use this "Show unread posts since last visit. or bitcointalk Pull the page down"

4003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is banning all ads promoting cryptocurrencies, including ICOs on: February 04, 2018, 05:15:50 PM
Facebook has banned all types of advertising in order to allow personal content.
This ban covers most companies and big brands including Bitcoin and the rest cryptocurrencies,
4004  Other / Archival / [LN] closing a payment channel on: February 04, 2018, 04:42:10 PM
From what I understand:
If A wants to send to B. he must pay the opening fee of the transaction channel.
After opening the channel and sending the transaction. In the meantime, B is not allowed to send until after the completion of the transaction B can send.
How to calculate the closing fees of the channel "Single and multiple channels"
4005  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: February 03, 2018, 09:42:59 PM
I like that good forum members can make money, especially when said forum members are in poorer countries and this is a major opportunity for them.
This shows a great wisdom from you.

This system has a number of flaws but in general it is good and very fair.
These defects can be solved in the future and do not affect the system as a whole "Link merit to first activity"
4006  Other / Meta / Re: [Suggestion] Technical Trust [TT] on: February 03, 2018, 08:18:56 PM
The merit system already does that:  Good, correct technical posts there tend to get showered with merit, whereas false and stupid posts of all kinds usually get none.
Also, good/detailed/accurate information usually got merit which can help member to find out which posts have accurate info or not.
The main purpose of the merit system is to avoid very low quality posts and topics but the specificity of technical discussions makes it inappropriate
  • merit points are not controlled.
  • can be given to anyone who adds you new information.
sometimes I rely on the posts that gets merits from achow101.

Unfortunately, I don’t see any easy solution to this, nor how a benign “technical trust” system would not be redundant.  Setting a system to be the arbiter of “true” and “false” is always—problematic.  Is this proposal supposed to function as some sort of peer review?  The merit system already does that:  Good, correct technical posts there tend to get showered with merit, whereas false and stupid posts of all kinds usually get none.

I’d like to find a better solution to this problem.  I doubt this be it.  Am I missing anything?
The main purpose of my suggestion is that this forum is considered a reference for the most of those who want to learn.
Developers posts deserve a privilege "Technical Trust or Anything that makes me concentrate on post".

Let's focus on suggestions to solve this problem (if you consider it a problem)

4008  Other / Meta / [Suggestion] Technical Trust [TT] on: February 03, 2018, 12:55:24 PM
I noticed in Development & Technical Discussion and Bitcoin Technical Support a lot of bad advice's, misinformation, Indirect answers and nonsense which makes any useful information lost in the middle of all this. In addition to the lack of reliability in relying on the answers.
I'm not saying that the answers/posts are not meaningful but you have to read all the answers/posts to get useful information especially if you are looking for a solution to your problem and have been directed by the search engines.

My suggestions:
1. A list of technical trusts such as "Default Trust" They can stick their answers or get a distinctive color or pattern when answering.
2. Mods can give "the best answer" or "answer recommended".

What do you think of these ideas?

  • The script must override the logging in and parse the HTML. This can change at any time and the script would stop working
you need a "key" from theymos to override the logging in.
What is this supposed to be? I just see this:
I just converted the page to a file like this
4010  Other / Meta / Re: Begging for merit on: February 01, 2018, 03:49:12 PM
I think begging for merit is demeaning, and not something that members should do.
I've started to ignore members who beg for merit in a post. This means that I can't see their posts now or in the future, and I will not be able to award them sMerits regardless of the quality of their posting.

I'm sad that I have to do this, but there seems to be a new trend developing - posters cut and paste an article, and then beg for merit for doing it.
These upper limits of merit will push people to do that because the main reason for their posts is signature Campaign.
like i say before
Yes, but this will not happen. People will continue to make their posts longer and more convincing.
Because the motive is to Rank up and not share knowledge.
The gradual implementation of merit points and the increased activity of mods is the solution
4011  Other / Serious discussion / cryptocurrency storage peg on: January 30, 2018, 10:35:48 PM
Quote from:
Market psychology is based off of pricing precedent and raw demand/supply forces. Aggregate market psychology chooses numbers such as $10,000 BTC and $1,000 ETH, but there is no objectively good reason why ETH should be $1,000 instead of $500. Therefore, normal coins are prone to bubbles: panic buying pursued by panic selling.
in the near future do you think cryptocurrency will gradually transition from digital asset to something tangible (decentralized hardware storage)

4012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it enough? on: January 30, 2018, 10:02:57 PM
The number of bitcoin is only 21 million, is that enough for the future?
given the vision of bitcoin to become world currency?

what do you think of this?
you can divided 1 bitcoin into satoshi which make it enough for all.
problem is the number of bitcoin has been declining dramatically because the first coins were being mined was 50 bitcoin (some die and others lost them btc)
4013  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: LN security on: January 30, 2018, 07:05:03 PM
Not sure what you mean by deadlock problem.
deadlock problem= waiting for long time.
I thought that after you open the channel, you can not send or use your own Bitcoins until this channel ends. (Semaphore)
4014  Other / Meta / Re: When do YOU think you will level up on merits? on: January 30, 2018, 06:10:20 PM
If the situation continues on what it is :
1.will be Member after 2 months.
2. will be Fullmember after 6 months.
3. will be Srmember after 2 years.
4. will never be hero/Legendary member.
4015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: LN security on: January 30, 2018, 05:59:35 PM
-snip-
OK,Let 's imagine that we' re going to treat using LN.
A: current Balance 1 BTC
B: current Balance 1 BTC
A want to pay 0.5 BTC to B.
we will open a Channel with a current Balance, send it to miners to be confirmed and we need to wait before rebroadcasting our current balance.
so if multi-Channels started at same time how we can protect system from "deadlock problem"?
If there is any problem in synchronization How can we protect the sender and receiver from cheating by using the previous value and not the current value ?
last problem is update the current Balance need access to private key how can protect it from kernel viruses?

4016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / LN security on: January 30, 2018, 04:29:22 PM
I just finished reading part of the whitepaper of LN. and from the name "Network"  it’s It's like a Twitter network.
I can open 1 channel to connect to the network "just like when signing in into Twitter" and can be sent to all my friends connected to that network. That's almost what I understood
that mean LN wallets will have full access to my private key? " will be less protected than current Bitcoin wallets?.
4017  Other / Meta / Re: Can we just stop creating new threads about merits? on: January 30, 2018, 12:20:30 PM
I'm sorry for those people will get offended in this post. I know a lot of you praising the merit system and some of you especially shitposters were critizing the merit system  can we please stop creating new threads about the merit system and move on? And if you have questions, rants, and suggestions about the merit system, please post it on merit system thread instead in that way, we can reduce the spam in meta thread that's all.
why people make new posts about merit?
Because it's the easiest way to get merit points (70% of merit points happen in meta section )
4018  Other / Meta / Re: [IDEA] How to stop people complaining on: January 30, 2018, 12:04:35 PM
By setting this kind of high value you would stop all ursers that moan about never ranking up,

No, account farmers will rank up.

you will give a real value to those users that really give quality content for this forum.

No, Will force users to make long posts or make some edit of merit posts.

Hero and Legendary account will mean something because there will be a clear distiction from the rest of users.

No, only "NEW" Hero and Legendary account will mean something  (after 6-18 months from now  Grin).

Also this way you will reward real hard working users and encourage them to add value to the content.

No, this mean 1 account will make high quality posts and sell merits (low amount 1-10 "too many member accounts").
4019  Other / Meta / Re: Some problems of the merit system and solutions to improve it on: January 29, 2018, 10:40:06 PM
6- Post every Wednesday (rank up post) for the members waiting to be rank up.
the merits sources reading  posts and giving merit points to those who deserve.
4020  Other / Meta / Re: Trust problem: Need help with forum administration on: January 29, 2018, 08:06:55 PM
i will edit your story.
When you sent the merits you thought that no one could see the list of recipients. [https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit]
