Locked and Archival.

Thanks,
3922  Other / Archival / Re: Is this allowed? "An unofficial list of merit sources" on: May 26, 2018, 02:12:49 PM
then they will get red tagged and ignored,
I know why you say that Wink
If you listed a wrong person on your list, it could cause them some difficulties.
I'm sure 100%

I don't know the reasons (probably JC is right), but the point is: is not for you to decide.
I thought it would be interesting to know who are the sources, but this is a good point will be respected.

-----cut----
Maybe I'll send you a message to do analytics while maintaining privacy.

Are there more suggestions?
3923  Other / Archival / Is this allowed? "An unofficial list of merit sources" on: May 26, 2018, 12:46:27 PM
I have been following the merit files for a while and I think I have An unofficial list of merit sources, can I post it?
3924  Other / Meta / Re: Merit & new rank requirements on: May 24, 2018, 10:28:05 PM
Is this allowed" Unofficial List of Bitcointalk Merit Source Users"?
3925  Other / Meta / Re: Report to the moderator -Deserve some rewards on: May 09, 2018, 07:20:52 PM
why Administrator/Global Moderator in that list? Do they also report? Huh

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1532365.msg15429237#msg15429237

An update on the top 50 reporters list would be nice, to give bragging rights Wink Seeing that list is what made me realize I can report much more posts than I did, and for months now I've been reporting more than I post.
3926  Other / Meta / Re: Banned for what? User: Sellingaccs on: April 26, 2018, 02:21:14 PM
I know mods talked about the reason for the ban but perhaps one of the reasons was selling verified accounts.

Question 9.5: Pretend I own a large business that sells physical items, with all orders being sold online. Tell me about the benefits and drawbacks of accepting Bitcoin for my business. I reside in and pay taxes in Canada.
Since Bitcoin is not a legal tender "not supported by any government or central authority" that mean you must pay Income Tax Act.
This means that if you want to start a big activity like selling physical  items you must be included your income for tax purposes"Because you didn’t use the legal currency".
You must report any gains or losses when assessing taxes.

benefits
Global market:You can sell to all parts of the world and you can win big markets that can’t pay by conventional methods such as the visa and MasterCard "African and Asian markets".
Low fees:Anyone around the world can pay for you less fees than $ 10 "Cheap product"
drawbacks
taxes and more taxes: income tax and bitcoin tax "bitcoin as commodity"
Legal Legislation: It can be changed at any time.
Bitcoin fluctuation:
Rigidity by CRA.

3933  Other / Meta / Re: Authority moderator on: February 24, 2018, 01:41:37 PM
I think hilariousandco (a "Global Moderator") already has that authority (based on few of his/her recent posts):
No, Only Administrators.

I had a proposal to solve this problem:
1.When you create a new account the system will ask you to add your BTC address.
2.If your account hacked/stolen: click on Restore my password.
3.The system will create your own code and ask you to sign a message "using that code" from that address.
4.The system will check/verify the message and recover your password "Temporary password".

3934  Other / Meta / Re: merit hole: 30 accounts more than 500 merits on: February 23, 2018, 06:19:55 PM

standards Sent 20 merits to snowfu199 and
I don't think there will be any bounty.

I don't care the short term dip. Actually I will take advantage of this to grasp more KEY.

I don't like the way the ICO is handled.

I don't see any reason any decent exchange will list it at this stage.

Why is the forum a battleground? Is this why Theymos created this forum for?
Satoshi and Sirius created this forum, Theymos add trust system "Who has a real test" and new merits system.
This battleground has been old since people began to be scammers.
the first big battle was https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1171059.0 and the end may be today.

3938  Other / Archival / Re: Is there way to correct merit given by mistake? on: February 14, 2018, 11:35:02 AM
Question above. I have send merit by mistake I should give 1 merit for a post but I had sent 10 instead.
Yes, if you send it to your alt account "Which i believed had happened"
Some one proof this and tagging this account <if It was worth it>

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=998570

Definitely yes, and that is the reason why the bitcoin bubble prophecy is created. Like a bubble bitcoin price can grow as much but would burst when it reach it's limitation. When time comes that people lose trust to btc future as investment to yield huge profit and not consider buying lot of btc anymore then it would be worthless.
Honestly yes, I have no doubt bitcoin would pump really high but I havent think that its too rapid like what it is doing now, considering there is a Segwit forking schedule to happen that causes bitcoin price to dump before the said event in the past.

As bitcoin already made lots of btc believers rich before more people are encourage to invest too and hope they're life would be change like on others. Some also believe that other alts could be next bitcoin so they buy other alts. Most of us are dreaming for a better financially free living and off course we do would do anything we can and use anything we could just to be financially stable.

As what old people use to say, "no guts, no glory". There are lots of us who are in huge scare due to the continuous fall happening and its taking such long time now of almost a month, but if I would be ask I rather take the risk of hodling and face whatever the result would be in coming days than sell now in a price of -50% of my investment.

Oh come on..
You have got to be kidding me. First,The Pharmacist and now Lauda?
Who's next?
actmyname (After a step) and ibminer "anyone tagging scammers"

All I see is a long list of username couldn't decipher how that works.

Could someone explain it to me like I'm little child so I could comprehend what's going on here Huh
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;full

I wouldn't even recommend that you go through that list unless theymos makes changes to DT1, which is not likely either.
That's what will happen

** I do not have a sure guide **

USER PROFILE : Chachacoin17, chickenado, thend1949, marcuslong
MERIT SUMMARY : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=1002351
PROOF:
Well  I agree on that bit I think we really count a year or maybe a decade before it will going to happen because crypto is not as just popular as fiat.  It's already there before bitcoin exist and we all know that many more people using fiat than bitcoin. So then even if the bitcoin is getting more popular i believe that fiat is really the most common in terms of usage .
Well i think if we are following bitcoin for a long time maybe we  really didnt think that this is the panic time because we all known from the start that bitcoin is unstable and it os really almost changing price every single our of the day and if bitcoin pricw fall maybe we dont have to panic on it because  i believe that falling of price is a big opportunity to gain huge  amount through buy and selling process.
Well, I wil choose both, to invest and to save. I will take risk to invest some of my money and I will save some of it. I will invest my money right now too because of its price going down because I know someday I will receive profit for holding my bitcoins. I will save it too for my future.
Well, it may depend on how every individual think about future but those things you've mentioned is with regards to gadgets. But the main idea here is all about the perceptions about how a person view bitcoin as their future, particularly the investors who remained brave on their stand against bitcoin. For now it seems that more people holds and trust bitcoin and I think those bigger whales stayed calm rather than those new investors. They maintained that progressive visions even though more people panicked of the latest dips of bitcoin.
