4021  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid 19 shows how weak People are in the it mind on: August 28, 2020, 04:01:02 PM
Lol that’s not true, loans don’t expire, when you take a loan as years goes by the interest keeps accruing and you’re still going to pay them. Imagine that you take loan to start a business and it’s not successful at the end, your loan goes into default and you’re stuck with paying loans for a long time, don’t deceive people. And moreover, it’s not everyone that would be happy at this time, especially those that were affected by the coronavirus.

Lastly I’d say that it is best for people to have better plans as to how they can build their business to a better level without taking loans. Loans are only going to be putting you in more problem.
4022  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Rise Due to Lower US Dollar? on: August 28, 2020, 02:43:22 PM
It doesn't apply to stocks because stocks are based on companies and if people buy a ton of that stock that cause it to go up, there is a reason why it could be overvalued, if a stock worths 1 dollars but people buy like crazy and stock becomes 2 dollars, that means people are overvaluing it, or let's say it worths 2 dollars per stock and people undervalue it and sell it mostly and price of it becomes 1 dollar, that means it is undervalued.

Bitcoin is not based on anything at all, it is only people buying and selling and nothing else, literally absolutely nothing else, no companies, no corporations, no nations no fiat, it is purely based on people buying and selling and that is it. Which is why they are not even similar to each other at all, there are vast differences.
4023  Economy / Speculation / Re: Top 5 reasons I see $100k in next 2 years on: August 28, 2020, 01:59:48 PM
I remember the dude who bought pizzas for 10k bitcoins talked about the situation and he wasn't really all that worried about it, he mined a ton of them, he bought them even cheaper and he made a profit of them, that wasn't last of his coins neither, he sold a lot of them even later but before the 2017 peak times, so 10k for pizza wasn't his only mistake, he sold tens of thousands of bitcoin way before it meant anything, he spent few dollars and made few hundred dollars, when he could have been a millionaire, even more.

So, that is why I think we should not look at it like if we made a profit or not, even when you make a profit, you might be missing out on the future profit, you could buy at $10k and sell at $20k, but the price might have go to $30k and you might have missed money to be made.
4024  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 Contests 🏆 TvT 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: August 28, 2020, 12:49:03 PM
Well.. let's not say that they are not "active at all" because they are active time to time and they do share stuff time to time but there is a difference between active and active.

If you always notify people what is going on with the website and share all the promotions and all that in a marketing purpose type of way, you are still active, you are not gone and you are still around and have an account that posts, however there is also a HUUUUGE difference on having one person like a community manager to be constantly here and talk with people about what they want and just basically chat regularly.

The first one is enough to have a casino, you do not "need" to do anything more than that, second one is just shows how involved you are and would take you to an upper level.
4025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (DEFI) YAM! YAM! YAM! a scam? on: August 28, 2020, 11:35:29 AM
If there is any bug in the system, then the team should be blamed for not properly doing their work and detecting the bug even before they launched the project. There are some people who just wants to quickly make money out of every opportunity and they can launch projects and be looking for ways to make money with it. They should have checked their project very well and paid expert programmers to do the job and not look for cheap work.

I have seen people who are talking about launching a project when it’s clear that they don’t have enough funds and what it takes to do proper work on the project before launch.
4026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will "De-Fi" replace traditional banking in the future? on: August 28, 2020, 10:54:54 AM
DeFi is getting more popular and as time goes on the popularity will be more than this and it will attract more and more investors, and of course I was expecting people to start asking questions like this , whether they will replace the traditional banking. It’s just like when Bitcoin was getting popular everyday, a lot of people started asking questions whether it is going to replace traditional banking.

I think people don’t understand these things. These DeFi/crypto are something else, am alternative to the main system that can’t be changed. They kind of provide you with other means to do something in another way, and we should understand that.
4027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best platform for quickly purchasing bitcoin? on: August 28, 2020, 10:30:25 AM
OP, just go peer-to-peer and you wouldn’t be having problems of delay, unless you’re afraid of using decentralized and P2P exchanges, if not, that’s the right way to go and stop stressing yourself with all these Centralized exchanges. I can’t remember the last time I ever used a centralized exchange to buy cryptocurrency, all my transactions has been peer-to-peer for a long time now.

I am not saying centralized exchanges are not good, they are good and for real they are very secure for newbies to make purchase, but the process takes long. The best and most popular P2P exchanges you can use are Paxful and LocalBitcoin. Check them out.
4028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading crypto is a different ball game on: August 28, 2020, 05:30:46 AM
If his followers chooses to not like Bitcoin or cryptocurrency as a whole, then that is their own cup of tea.

You already said he was encouraging pump and dump, so deserves what he got from the market; he was planning to pump and dump the bags on who exactly? Lol on other investors? Don’t you think he just drank from his own cup, what he was planning to do to other people is what happened to him, he shouldn’t be whining about it.

By the way, cryptocurrency is like a free place, anyone that think it’s not meant for them shouldn’t be part of it, everybody must not be part of it.
4029  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Latoken will charge you 5USD monthly, if you are not active. on: August 27, 2020, 07:09:47 PM
But from the photo you have posted, it’s clearly stated that they won’t charge you that amount, unless you have been inactive for over six months. And moreover it’s not advisable to leave funds on an exchange if you’re not trading with those funds. If you don’t want to trade it’s best that you move your funds to your personal wallet than keeping it on an exchange.

Apart from that I think this is a way for them to make inactive users to be active and start trading, instead of just leaving those funds on their exchange without doing anything at all. I don’t really see anything wrong with it, but it’s all your choice, you can still find another exchange or just move it to your personal wallet.
4030  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: August 27, 2020, 06:10:53 PM
I have just been watching people play but I have been missing some of the whales that occasionally come out of the waters to play Cheesy

Its just sometimes fun for me to watch whales play with amounts of money that I
a) dont have Cheesy
b) would never gamble with Cheesy
Yeah, we do not gamble with that kind of money right now because we do not have it, but believe me if you had the type of money they have, you would probably gamble with it as well. Just because someone gambled with let's say 1000 bitcoins as their bankroll, doesn't mean they have 1001 bitcoins, that means they probably have like 20-30 thousand bitcoins maybe even more.

There is also a legal part of it as well, if you want to cash that out to dollars you would have to pay so much taxes and it would take weeks before you are out in the clear without any work, trying to explain "I had bitcoins and now I cashed it out so I want to pay its taxes" takes a long time. Long story short after a while people just get bored of the situation and gamble a small portion of it like 3-5% of it. If I had 30+ thousand bitcoins, I would totally gamble with 1000 of them as well.
4031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Whale Sold at $12,000 After 2 Years HODLing on: August 27, 2020, 05:19:12 PM
That’s going to be a huge profit, although I don’t know what price he bought the Bitcoins at exactly, but the price of Bitcoin was low in 2018, that was after the 2017 bull run and the price dropped. He did really well holding it for two years with all the up and downs, because some people won’t be able to do that.

If I were this whale, I’m probably going to be taking the same move and selling my bitcoins, taking profit and not being greedy, because I know for sure that there are people wouldn’t want to sell, they are waiting for when the price will reach $100,000 for each bitcoin before they get to sell.
4032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: when will cryptocurrency go mainstream? on: August 27, 2020, 04:19:38 PM
I don’t know how you see it, but Bitcoin has reached a level that seems to me that it is mainstream already.
I don’t know what other mainstream you’re talking about, unless you are one of those fanatics that thinks that the government is going to adopt Bitcoin, then I am sorry that it’s not going to happen; the government won’t adopt Bitcoin and it won’t be what everyone in the world will be using.

Fiat is still going to be around, and Bitcoin will be alternative to the fiat. As for me, I only make use of Bitcoin when it’s an international transaction, because it’s easier, cheaper, and faster than when I’m using Banks to send the money.
4033  Economy / Economics / Re: Why has the s&p500 already made a full recovery? on: August 27, 2020, 03:47:15 PM
The last statement, yes people do buy and invest when the market crashes. There are lots of investors that are always ready to buy when a market is crashing, these investors know that the market will go back up after a crash, that’s definitely the right time to start investing.

Moreover (I don’t know for you) I wasn’t expecting the crash to last for long. It’s only going to affect the economy at first because lots of companies decided to take a break and the economy was put on hold due to the pandemic. But when the lockdown started hitting them hard they decided to open, and it shouldn’t be a surprise that it’s (S&P 500) recovering.
4034  Economy / Economics / Re: Your economic outlook and your life for 2021 poll on: August 27, 2020, 02:47:24 PM
COVID-19 has destroyed many small business, with the bigger businesses taking their share of the economic pie. I believe many people lost jobs, but some are doing OK.

Curious, as Bitcoiners, how did the COVID-19 pandemic affect your financial situation, and what is your outlook for 2021?
Right from time I have been the type of person that doesn’t like to rely on one source of income, I like diversify and be involved in lots of things, and I started this due to my past experience. It’s good to always have other source of income because if you continue to rely on source alone, when things like this happens you’re going to be disappointed.

I know people who lost their jobs because of this, and I wasn’t affected because the areas I am into were not affected (I didn’t lose a job). But assuming I did lose one source, I would still have the other sources to rely on. Although this is usually a difficult thing to do, but it’s advisable that you try to do it, learn different skills. And as for my country’s economy, lol it’s  been bad, but I’m always positive.
4035  Economy / Economics / Re: Second COVID-19 wave is coming...Infinite loop? on: August 26, 2020, 04:48:21 PM
The much discussed second wave is here! While many countries e.g. Brazil and USA are still suffering from the first wave, the second wave has already arrived in Europe, after it looked like the crisis was under control for some weeks.
Everywhere in Europa are strongly increasing numbers of infections like in Spain, France, Germany or Croatia. Many areas are once again being declared risk areas. Will this be the last wave and if not, will it bring the economy to its knees with unforeseeable consequences to the world?
Was having a discussion of this Coronavirus with some people and someone said that the Coronavirus will turn out to be something normal and by then there will be a vaccine or something that will be used to control it just like vaccine is being used to control other kinds of sickness.

I do not know about that, but I really wish that there would be a way to end this Coronavirus once and for all. I don’t want it to continue to exist, I want it to end for good because it’s a serious threat Shocked. For long now I have not looked at the chart to know the number of cases in my country, I am no longer talking about it, because I hate to.
4036  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: August 26, 2020, 03:02:00 PM
Well, the token part of the deal wasn't really the main topic for them anyway, they want to build a good casino and honestly I think they have managed it. Could it be better? Of course, if I learned anything from the tech world is that nothing can stop and be good forever, you have to keep improving and even when you say "I made it as good as I can make it" there is another improvement right there.

So like I said, just focus on the fact that you could improve and keep the casino good and people would be happy with it. Investors may not be happy obviously but the fact that gamblers will be happy is all that matters to the casino side, they would make as much profit as they can by keeping their gamblers happy, that is the part that matters for making money.
4037  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 Contests 🏆 TvT 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: August 26, 2020, 01:55:26 PM
I think games and rounds would be enough, you can however have the announcement here that is allowed, so what you would do is post the competition thing here, with a link to your main competition topic at games and rounds, which would help you out. And everyone will talk about it there as well, that way you would get attention from two places.

You want it to make this website a lot more visible and talked? You can post here every 6 hours (or 12, or once a day whatever you want) post about it here, like "do not forget about our promotion at games and round, go join there" and you can keep doing it. So, basically you will do it on games and rounds which many many people will join and make the website get attention on that section while you make this place get more attention.
Right now if you want to sucess in Casino or any field like this you must do some good marketing this surely attract new members and more wagering on your site right now we have few new casino's they are doing some good stuff and they have some good return of this so they surely check in Games and Rounds section and then they can do few things for their own site because without big prizes and competitions its very hard right now.
I have talked with a guy who owns a casino before and I can tell you that having a 6 month straight marketing that would get you super famous would cost about half a million dollars. I know you can do it for less or you can do it for more but you could definitely do it for half a million dollars that would be proper.

The 200k would be for spending on signature campaign and the campaign manager, you could have a huge one out there with over 50 people from senior member to legendary and all that, it would go on for 6 months, after that you can do 200k for ads everywhere you are allowed, I am not sure how google approaches it but you can put it on everywhere you can, and another 200k (with 100k coming back) would be weekly 1k wager, 6 months is about 24 weeks and that would be 240k but I am sure people who compete would lose some.

So, basically marketing is EXPENSIVE and really a lot.
4038  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investment advice backed by real experience on: August 26, 2020, 12:39:06 PM
Good post. As for the three lessons you said you have learnt from successful investors, I am not so sure about the number one;I thought we are all being told to be investing a little money, or should I say the most that we can take as risks, so why then do you think that people has to invest more money and take more risks to be successful? I don agree with that first point.

People should start small and gain more experience as time goes on, and whether they should invest more money it’s a decision they should make for themselves when they have decided that it is a risky they can take. You don’t just tell them to up their money and their level of risks for profit, they might lose it.
4039  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency trading platform on: August 26, 2020, 09:14:04 AM
But you already stated in your post that Binance is the best exchange, so why then do you still ask which of the Exchanges you have mentioned is the best?

When it comes to Centralized exchanges, I didn’t see you mention Coinbase and that’s like one of the biggest centralized exchanges there is in the market, although I might say that Binance bigger than it because they have a bigger trade volume, but Coinbase has an interface that is easier to understand and everything about it is easy and simple. Then as for decentralized exchanges, Binance DEX is a good choice to go with, compared with the rest you have mentioned.
4040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in NEO now? on: August 26, 2020, 07:15:48 AM

I observe that the NEO coin has been sideways for more than a year in the 0.00156BTC-0.00160BTC range. I want to invest some in this coin. Is this the best price range yet?
Please give me advice. Thank all!
You like the coin, I can’t tell why you like it and you didn’t state the reason why you do, but I would say that it’s very important that you understand the risks you’re about to take and study the market before investing. It’s good that you do this yourself, if you’re going to be asking questions, you’re not going to get one answer because some people will say yes and others will say No.

So, it is best that you do proper research and understand the market first and where it’s heading to before you start. I have known about NEO for long, but my interest has never been in it, I already have coins I am investing in, and I like to focus on them.
