4041  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency trading platform on: August 26, 2020, 09:14:04 AM
But you already stated in your post that Binance is the best exchange, so why then do you still ask which of the Exchanges you have mentioned is the best?

When it comes to Centralized exchanges, I didn’t see you mention Coinbase and that’s like one of the biggest centralized exchanges there is in the market, although I might say that Binance bigger than it because they have a bigger trade volume, but Coinbase has an interface that is easier to understand and everything about it is easy and simple. Then as for decentralized exchanges, Binance DEX is a good choice to go with, compared with the rest you have mentioned.
4042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in NEO now? on: August 26, 2020, 07:15:48 AM

I observe that the NEO coin has been sideways for more than a year in the 0.00156BTC-0.00160BTC range. I want to invest some in this coin. Is this the best price range yet?
Please give me advice. Thank all!
You like the coin, I can’t tell why you like it and you didn’t state the reason why you do, but I would say that it’s very important that you understand the risks you’re about to take and study the market before investing. It’s good that you do this yourself, if you’re going to be asking questions, you’re not going to get one answer because some people will say yes and others will say No.

So, it is best that you do proper research and understand the market first and where it’s heading to before you start. I have known about NEO for long, but my interest has never been in it, I already have coins I am investing in, and I like to focus on them.
4043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin use? on: August 26, 2020, 06:21:13 AM
When I first discovered crypto. BTC, LTC, DASH, stood out as practical coins.

I don't hear much about LTC nowadays.

Is there a preffered LTC wallet?

Are people using it much?
I still hear more about Litecoin and I do see it on the news more than most of the altcoins.

Anyway that the top ten altcoins are being mentioned you will always see Litecoin being mentioned there, like on Cointelegraph and Coindesk when they are talking about top cryptocurrencies to invest in, or other websites when they are doing technical analysis.

Moreover as for wallets, it’s not every wallet that accepts Litecoin, so you have to look for the ones that does. You can check out Coinbase wallet, they accept Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and lots of other altcoins.
4044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 26, 2020, 05:01:49 AM
I believe Istanbul one was cancelled because the company behind the racing track didn't wanted to pay 25 million euro for being in there, normally I would understand that some places may want to pay that much so that they could make a profit, however Formula is not that big in Turkey and when the Istanbul one happened you could have seen whole sections empty, not just free seats and all, you could find whole sections of 40-50 seats all empty, so you could buy the cheapest seat available and then go sit wherever you want, only place that was filled was the high end suite type of places.

So, they didn't made any profit, hence why they didn't want to pay that much. Obviously they have it now for this once because of pandemic, but do not get your hopes up about the future, they will probably still not want to pay for something they can't profit in the future when this pandemic schedule ends.
4045  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Proud partner of Southampton FC 🚀 on: August 25, 2020, 08:16:42 PM
Wowww, so you guys said that you are going on with the watford AND adding southampton on top of that?? That is a huuuuge amount of money to be spending on the sponsors, you guys must be making a ton of money to be able afford sponsorship on a team on championship AND on premier league at the same time.

You guys are not only making your website so much more known this way and getting so much more people into it, but you are also making the bitcoin name out there as well, thanks to you soo many people are hearing about bitcoin and now back to back. I can't believe how you are keeping the watford sponsorship as well at the same time. Did the amount went down a lot? That is really an incredible amount if it is true, are you willing to share it with us?
4046  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc/eth denominated mortgage or traditional serious borrowing in cryptocurrency? on: August 25, 2020, 08:00:27 PM
If I get you, you don’t want a loan that has to do with collateral, like where you will be required to place an asset before you’re giving a loan, you just want a loan that will be based on your job and will allow you to be paying certain amount every month or so? I don’t think you’re going to be finding such here in cryptocurrency space.

I have not taken loan in cryptocurrency, but I have done most of the crypto loan platforms and the way they function is the collateral way, where you will have to use your assets to get loans, and they have to do this because crypto is trustless and you don’t know who is who Roll Eyes.
4047  Economy / Economics / Re: What Role Will Crypto Play During ‘The Great Reset?’ on: August 25, 2020, 05:57:04 PM
If we totally choose the great reset, what is the better then? Centralized or decentralized? Has all countries in this world ready for the decentralized systems? I think no, decentralized and centralized should be implemented conforming to how the system in each country ready for it.
If it is talking again about the use of cryptocurrency after this pandemic over, we can see it right now. So far, many more people are interested in doing some great things on crypto, many projects still exist and many more people reveal the world of cryptocurrency.
So, the crypto will never end and will probably give a big influence on it.
Decentralization is quite a good idea, but I don’t think it is something that will be put fully in place. We have governments, and one of the areas that the government never jokes with is the finance, because our finance is the main thing when we are talking about the economy.

So, as long there is government, it’s all going to be centralized. Decentralization will only be to a certain extent, like we have it now, and I really don’t think it will pass that level so much. If you look at the way things are going, the government are already looking into cryptocurrency and trying to gain control over it.
4048  Economy / Economics / Re: how in the world is btc at $12.303,28? on: August 25, 2020, 04:26:39 PM
Do you understand Bitcoin at all? After reading this I checked your profile to see your rank, because I thought you were still a noob that doesn’t understand a thing about the market, not knowing you’re even a senior member. So, you don’t know that Bitcoin relies on trust?

Okay, I know what you’re trying to say is on manipulation, and that’s something everyone has known for quite long now and Bitcoin is getting pass that level, unless altcoins, they are the ones that can easily be manipulated by anyone. The price of Bitcoin reached this level because people are buying more of Bitcoin. There are lots of things that shows people’s interest in BTC if you have been up to date recently.
4049  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic Coronvirus Impact On Global economy on: August 25, 2020, 03:41:02 PM
The world is surrounded by the COVID-19 and so the demand for the decentralized economy is increasing as a way of maintaining social distance. Does Pandemic Coronavirus open the door for the decentralized economy? Please justify your answer. Cool
Do you really think that is true? The way I see things, there isn’t really that decentralization that you’re talking about, because there are other payment methods out there that lots of people are using. I’m only able to make use of my Bitcoin on the Internet and it’s mainly on transaction between me and some Business partners, but when it comes to making purchase of things I need, the payment that I can only make use of, which is what’s widely accepted, is card payment.

Another option that I see everywhere is PayPal. And when it comes to making payment when I’m in stores, they only accept my card, because POS is their payment method. I wish I can use Bitcoin or another online payment, because I don’t really like them touching my card lol.
4050  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reach to $100K ? on: August 23, 2020, 08:07:16 PM
The thing is, bitcoin being 100k is not really that important for the traders, it is definitely important for investors and people like me who wants to see bitcoin to be spent on regular stuff without worry, hell it would actually make bitcoin a lot faster however you do realize that if it becomes 100k we need to figure out a way to make it under 100 satoshi to send and receive money right? Even with that in mind if you are a trader, you should not want this.

You should want bitcoin to be 15k and then 10k then 15k then 5k then 10k then 8k so forth so forth, that is how a trader makes money, there is no other way, if it only goes up and suddenly becomes 100k, you could just buy and hold it and not be a trader at all, wouldn't require any trading in that case.

Good or Bad?

#Megarace

We're getting closer to the #UCLFinal

Remember to bet on Stake to take advantage of our awesome double winning promotion in tonight's game!

https://promotions.stake.com/ucl-double-winnings/
These races are becoming more like the main attraction at stake, and they have been for a long time, I understand the new Lambo thing because let's face it, you can't just have mega race all the time and have absolutely zero new things, you have to add new big huge things like a Lambo, it is a HUUUGE thing we are talking about, above 200k dollars or so, that is really a no joke, I do not remember anything even remotely closer to that in stake, there is really nothing that could be compared at all.

Stake is a serious company, they are not one of those "we two friends built one" type of place, if they ever wanted to sell, it would be tens of millions of dollars worth at least, so it makes sense that they want to grow it a lot bigger and that happens with a lot bigger investments.
4052  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Become Universal Money? on: August 23, 2020, 06:58:05 PM
It is possible that  someday all country accept Crypto Currency and it will become Universal Money?
There are countries that might feel it’s not right for them, and they won’t accept them. But despite, we don’t really need every country in the world to accept it, there are already lots of countries around the world that accepts cryptocurrency and that is enough. Then I don’t understand what you mean by Bitcoin becoming a universal money, it will be widely accepted but it’s going to be an alternative to the currency we make use of, and other payment methods there is.

I make use of Bitcoin but I didn’t put all my money there, just those that needs to be there, majority of my money still has to be in the bank and that’s it.
4053  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: multi currency paper wallet on: August 23, 2020, 06:11:55 PM
I don’t make use of paper wallets, but I know some of the sites that can be used to create, and Coinbase is not one of them; I make use of the Coinbase wallet and they don’t offer such feature.

My friends are making use of paper wallets, but I don’t use it because I don’t think it is safe for me, so I don’t want to make use. That it seems safe for others, doesn’t mean it will also be safe for you, there are lots of things you have to put into consideration to decide that for yourself. But if you want to create a cryptocurrency paper wallet you can make use of Mycelium, Bitaddress, or Walletgenerator.
4054  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin Support and Resistance for dummies on: August 23, 2020, 02:06:09 PM
I feel like the support and resistance level trading is actually good but it is not that popular in the crypto world for some reason. You check the trading and see where the support levels are and you see where the resistance levels are, you buy 1 dollar above the support level and hope that it doesn't break down (wait a bit before you buy to make sure) and you sell 1 dollar below resistance level and hope it doesn't break up (wait for this too) and you can trade in that spread, it is actually a profitable thing that you could make money from but it is not quick, it takes days sometimes even 10 days before you can buy or sell and that is why people dislike it, people like to either trade within the same day or two, or just invest for the long term, 10-15 days is not really something that gets attention.
4055  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic things that you need to know before starting in trading on: August 23, 2020, 01:32:48 PM
Having the strong mind that it takes to endure the losses you will experience in trading is not an easy to get. But the most important thing is starting small, so that if there are losses, it wouldn’t be something that would worry you that much.

But, to be sincere this is not the issue for a lot of people. I can use myself as an example, because when I started I was damn broke and couldn’t afford to take any risks, and I know this is the same issue that some people will be having. There are people who are broke and they can’t have extra money that they can risk to gain that experience.
4056  Economy / Economics / Re: China is winning the Economy Wars on: August 23, 2020, 08:37:36 AM
But mainly, I think countries should be aware of the disadvantages of taking loans. Loans are very bad thing, although I know that some economists like to spit nonsense on how important loans are, lol, for me I am not in agreement with that, loans can be a drawback.

I know that the developing countries you are referring to, their leaders don’t are about all these disadvantages, they are all ready to sell their countries to the Chinese government to get loans from them. After all is said and done it’s only the poor people that are going to suffer from it, the rich people won’t. The rich guys can decide to move to another country and move their businesses with them and that’s it, the poor ones can stay back and suffer. Very bad.
4057  Economy / Economics / Re: What Role Will Crypto Play During ‘The Great Reset?’ on: August 23, 2020, 07:19:17 AM
I don’t know what you’re talking about by economic reset, how is the economy going to be reset? Like things will go back to zero or what? And as for decentralization, that depends, I don’t think the world is going to adopt Bitcoin, in fact let’s be true to ourselves, Bitcoin is just a payment method and the whole world are not going to adopt it as their main currency, same as other cryptocurrencies.

Another thing you have to know is that as long as there is government, there will be nothing as decentralization, things are still going to be centralized (majority of everything). Bitcoin is just going to be as it was described by Satoshi, a peer-to-peer transaction and apart from that, there is nothing else.
4058  Economy / Economics / Re: Business / private sector is dead on: August 23, 2020, 06:44:57 AM
Apart from the taxi driving work, the other jobs you have mentioned are the jobs that were even flourishing at the time of this Coronavirus. Had three of my friends that were working at the same company, one works as a customer care rep, the other was software engineer, and the other one was kind of a secretary. The three of them stopped work going to work due to the outbreak, but the first two were asked to continue their work from home, because those jobs are the type of jobs that can be done remotely.

Imagine someone who is working as a cleaner, lol, how are they going to clean the office from home? They can’t. Same thing with taxi drivers that you have mentioned, transportation was closed completely due to the pandemic.
4059  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: August 22, 2020, 07:08:51 PM
Well, we are talking about personal preference of course. Soccer is one of the most watched things in the world, and I am not talking about just among sports, I am talking about most watched ever, Champions League finals gets soooooo much views every year, it is not just in one nation we are talking about live thing all around the world all at the same time, it is like a joke, yet... I do not like watching it too much. So, as you can see it is a personal thing.

However I accept the fact that soccer is loved and it is a cool thing to watch, not to me but if this many people like it that should mean that it is a cool thing to watch. Same for bustabit, you may not personally like it, but in the end you have to accept that it is one of the most wagered websites in crypto casino world.
4060  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Governments cannot control Bitcoin on: August 22, 2020, 06:16:24 PM
The governments can't control Bitcoin because it is decentralized. It wasn't made in favour of a centralized system where one person or authority can have full power and control over its transaction. The farthest the governments can go is to impose regulations on Bitcoin transactions especially on the exchange sites.
Even if the government should put regulation in place, like you have said it’s only going to be effective on exchanges, do you mean only centralized exchanges or the both types of exchanges?

Because, the way I see it the government can only be able to regulate the transactions that are taking place on centralized exchanges, decentralized exchanges are something else and I don’t believe that the government can have any kind of control over them since they are decentralized. And also when people are doing transactions peer-to-peer the government won’t be able to keep an eye on it.
