Good news, the new code is done and ready and we are mining blocks now and setting up nodes. Should have a Mac and Windows wallet before Monday.

I will highly suggest that everybody send their MojoCoins from Yobit to livecoin just in case the Yobit wallet go into maintenance.
I agree, DO NOT USE YoBit, they refuse to communicate and they never answer support questions so for the future as well DO NOT use YoBit

Sounds very promising developer, I don't know too much about Mojocoin. I am reading up on it now.
One question? How many people are in your development team? Is it just you or are there more people helping with this project? Thanks, and good luck!
We are three people working on this. There is a lack of general updates as we are waiting to get the V2 chain going. Once that's done we'll promote and expand and start work on the next milestone.

Just out of interest:
At the end of the ICO the MOJO price was 259 Sats (BTC price was $414), so 1 MOJO = $0.00107 Now the latests MOJO price was 157 Sats (BTC price was $690), so 1 MOJO = $0.00108
So, given the rise in BTC price MOJO is actually the same as the ICO price right now (or at least the last sale at Livecoin.net)
ED: and the reason C-Cex dropped off was that they wanted 1.5 BTC or $1000,- to swap their wallets and I found that extortionate. So I said no to that. So we are stuck with Livecoin but they appear professional and should not cause any issues. We will run the V1 chain for a few days post-swap so that we could do a manual swap for some but this is limited. Must of you know perfectly well how to deposit and withdraw coins so it should not be necessary with a manual swap.
To be honest with you i think with 100.000.000 mil coins it will be hard to get some value even with V2. So i hope you will do your best to give V2 a big boost forward as i will stand behind Mojo Have a look at some other coins with around 100 mill. right? So, Zetacoin (ZET) is good example, 164,322,468 coins at $0.002825 and no real use and no real features besides being an 'old' coin Feathercoin (FTC) with 124,940,120 coins at $0.011551 again with no real use and no features, just an 'old' coin What about Quark with 250,101,047 QRK (heavily premined) and at $0.004262 with no real use again, just an 'old' coin I know that people pay in electricity for these coins but in reality they offer nothing. Just three examples, right. As we said with our previous project, what we will be focusing on is real world use, so we will integrate in Openbaazar for a start, try to beat DASH to that. This is the next major milestone after V2 is live. We will have a much more advanced coin that many others and so I do not see why the value will not increase significantly. Just my opinion.

Will the new Wallet come with a source to compile the linux daemon ? Will the masternode functionality be included ?
Regards
Yes, the source will be out shortly, and masternodes are included. Is there any way to start to test the compiling of the v2 software in linux? At this moment, I'm running the git version on a raspberry 2 with raspbian... Thanks. The source will be out soon, I will post a link soon

I'm trying the Mac wallet and I get zero connections and it does not sync. Do I need to resync the whole blockchain? You can download the chain from here: MEGA - Full Blockchain || May/24/16You might want to delete 'peers.dat' from your Diamond folder before syncing from scratch/from downloaded chain. And in case problem persists you could create 'diamond.conf' with the following commands: listen=1 noirc=1 addnode=213.136.80.93 addnode=37.187.176.193 addnode=213.229.0.41 addnode=167.114.184.20 addnode=193.136.97.30 addnode=193.136.96.30 addnode=46.238.9.233 bantime=600 I downloaded the chain and cleared the data directory and started the new wallet and I get this: I have tried various ways and now I am downloading the whole chain again which will take days...

SWAP OVER PROCESS
I have received some messages and e-mails with questions about how to do the swap over, so I will do a simple step-by-step for users that may not know what to do: 1. Start and sync your MOJOcoin wallet - you should know how to so that. Wait for the green tick in the lower right corner. 2. Open a Livecoin.net account by going to Livecoin3. After you log into your Livecoin account, get a MOJO address in your balances 4. Send the MOJO from your wallet 5. Wait for the swap on / after 20/06/2016 and follow the updates 6. Download the new V2 wallet (link will be published) 7. You can now withdraw your coins if you wish.

That coinswap theory is ok, in theory, the problem with new software is that it is not backward compatible sometimes. In our case the transaction structure is different in the two blockchain so we do a swap between two blockchains. This is totally transparent, we will run both block explorers and burn off excess V2 coins. You deposit 1000 V1MOJO and withdraw 1000 V2MOJO - what's the issue with that? You will not loose coins and we will not generate excess coins. Then we are on a new blockchain that is better suited for the future. Livecoin is reliable. C-Cex will do the swap as well and Coinexchange.io. You don't have to use Livecoin. Ultimately, it's your choice again. You have been given ample warning and notice. Why a swap? Why not a hardfork? you can even change algos with hardforks! Its userfriendly and no one would lose coins! Greetz We have not been able to get the transactions created in the V2 wallet to be compatible with the V1 chain and the TXs are rejected. Ok, only thought, its not a problem to create a hardfork. you can e.g. hardfork a POS-coin to a POW-coin. But I am not really a technical freak, I only know it from few coins, which changed their algos. e.g. Bitsend! Greetz Steve We did want a hard fork but as I said the new software is not backward compatible so we could not do a hard fork. We would have preferred a hard fork but we couldn't do it. So here we are now.

My concern is that you will probably end up deleting some peoples coins. This is not very nice for the people who participated in the ICO. They have to be actively moving coins and staying up to date on the latest info from MOJO. I could see this having a negative effect when trying to attract new buyers and hurt the long term future of this coin.
Hopefully there is a high % of coins that get swapped and no problems come from the swap.
I agree, I do not want anyone to loose coins. You do have a certain responsibility in this crypto world to keep updated though, hard forks are common as well. I keep repeating it here, Twitter, Facebook and the mailing list with about half of the ICO participants. We may keep the V1MOJO alive for a little while after the swap. We are considering what to do with this. As of yesterday there was about 40,000,000 MOJO at Livecoin so that's about 40% of the total in circulation. I will check again regularly. I expect some people to deposit just before 20/06. Another update in a couple of days.
