421  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] ASICMiner Prisma 1.4th/s - 1.47 BTC - Batch 3 - Free Ant Jumper on: October 06, 2014, 03:35:22 AM
Should fit well.
The Tubes fit well in one.
Length is the only issue.

Will this unit fit in a 4U case? If no, is the unit able to be deconstructed to fit within a 4U case?
I'm planning on building this, as I need to contain these systems for our DC--can't have cables flopping around all over the place.  I'm thinking about gutting my mostly-broken S2 to start the process, as it already go some nice fans.  I'll post picks as I progress!

Cheers.

That would be great. You always do a good job as well.

We are all waiting to hear.  There may be a funded Pi image if they do not get something going soon.
The Novak has the outline and research ready to go if need be. :-)

If you have shell access, you should be able to grab ASICMiner's branch of cgminer(once it's available), build cgminer, and replace the cgminer binary with your custom build. API calls should be unchanged, so the web interface should work. ASICMiner recommends a maximum of 4 Prismas per RPI.

OK, after this reply from Mineras' developer I'm very optmistic.

Now it all comes down when AM / friedcat will publish the source code for their patched cgminer fork. Any info on that?

Because if I order a bunch of Prismas I want my control units (Raspberry PI with Minera) be ready when the Prismas arrive for immediate deployment.

I am providing a RPI image for my customers. If there is interest, I will include the Minera user interface.

Not a problem I know how busy you are.  I am glad it is all coming together for you.  You do great work.
My BA Breakout Board cover saved me a shock a couple days ago.  I stumbled at my bench and my hand went right on the board.  If the case had not been there I would have had a nasty shock that would have been worse because of my spinal cord stimulator implant. I am glad you make these things.

I will be updating my thread today (finally) but also wanted to post a quick update.

Currently I have 3 PSU breakout boards to design cases for...first up is the 2x J4bberwock Mods boards then onto the DPS750 board I recently got on a trade  Grin
Also catching up on some print orders over the next couple days while developing the cases.

I will be answering PMs this afternoon. Apologies for the wait.

Thanks all!

It does not see mine on the network.  It seems there is something missing in the API on the Dragons software.
You can always run MM on your system and see if it does pick up the Dragon.  You may have newer software on the Dragon than I do.

Can this app work with latest dragon 1.5 th miner?  Any guide? Thx

I hope Reddcoin is actively going after reddit to become their official coin?
That would be great especially with the new influx of funds and community ownership percentage coming.

They may have forked it as their crappy add ridden software finds them but BFGMiner with MM does not find them.  BFGMiner that is in their software does.
I will dig into it more.
I asked on Lukes thread but have not checked there.  I will let you know how it goes.
Their software alone is giving them one of the worst reviews I have have had to do.  It is deplorable.  There are ads in it for F's sake!  Roll Eyes

Thanks again.

HI Nate,
Any idea if there is a way I can get MM to see the Avalon Nano?
I cannot even figure out which driver to use which is odd as it uses BFGMiner as a back end and their software is terrible.  It even has an add in the dam config panel.
Their review is not going to be pretty that is for sure.

Sorry - never heard of it. If it uses BFGMiner Luke may know.

Edit: If it's a newer Avalon ASIC my guess would be the newer AvalonMM driver in BFGMiner. I'm not sure what driver it would need on Windows. It may need a custom INF file. You can read about those and other drivers here:

https://github.com/nwoolls/MultiMiner/wiki/Drivers

That said, if their app is using BFGMiner and works on Windows, there really shouldn't be anything else that you need to install or do for it to work in MultiMiner, unless they forked BFGMiner.

Edit 2: According to this page CGMiner requires a patch but BFGMiner supports the Nano natively. Can't confirm or deny myself though:

I will give your new version of MM a try tomorrow and let you know how it goes.

What driver set would we use for the Avalon Nanos?
I am not sure as it does not seem to use the standard sets.

I do know but can you explain why I should share this knowledge?

So what about now?
I don't know; does anyone care about mistletoe?
Don't you think that's a strange question?
Why shouldn't everybody be curious about the stickiness of Phoradenron leucarpum's berries?
Do you mean Phoradendron leucarpum?
Would you accept my apologies for that typo?
why would he do that?  Tongue
Arent't apologies fungible, I mean, couldn't he save them and give them to someone else?
Er, was that question somehow embarassing, or too difficult to answer?
Who is Er?
Hoo knows.  Do you know or should we ask someone else?
Er, brother of Hum, son of Duh and Well, don't you know?

It is a nice miner.
I did the review and testing.
I have thrown a lot at it and it just runs stable and fast.
Very happy with them.

as soon as my Wallet is on track again i will buy, the price is GREAT for 900 GH/S
436  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] 1 S1 upgrade kit on: September 27, 2014, 09:12:56 PM
Here is the best place to get them in the US.
https://www.112bit.com/
I hope this helps.
They are the number one Bitmain distributor.  I have and do use them for my purchases of Bitmain and now ASICMiner products.

I have one S1.  I'm not ordering two upgrade kits because of Bitmain's MOQ.

Anyone have any spare they have because of the MOQ?

Reputable sellers preferred.

Scammers need not apply.

Thanks.

M

You have to email him so he can calculate the cost for you.
 Smiley

It looks like no support on your website to answer the shipping cost.
And no support on this thread for calculate international shipping cost.
So It means you will sell only for US customer.

Glad to hear it.  Smiley

Looks like a website issue, is hashing almost full now.

The SD card may not have handled the power cycle.  You can try burning the image to the SD card again and input your settings.
It sounds like it is all ok otherwise.

I stopped my 4 boards AM-V1X2 to add another 4 boards and when power on again I can't locate the wed browser interface where it was 192.168.0.139, tried 192.168.1 123 with no success, all lights on the RPi light up, except OK.
Any idea what the IP could be?
Is the RPi damage?

You're welcome.
Keep making solid miners we like them a lot.
https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/review-bitcoin-miner-btcgarden-v1-x2/

Keep me in mind for a review unit for whatever you have I really enjoy using them.  I can also help test them and send the feedback to Nwoolls and others to help them be able to include them in BFGMiner and MultiMiner.  Smiley

Thanks again Minersource.net and ASICPuppy.com for making the review possible.

Thank you all for your supports.
BTCGarden is working on prototype of new model for the time being. Hope we could bring you the new model soon.
