VERTHASH ALGO AVAILABLE ON TRM V8.2--
A new TRM is out, v8.2. It includes new VertHash support. An overnight run gave these results:
Mining VTC with 4X Nitro+ 4GB RX580 w/Elpida memory. Clocks 1250/1870, hash 540kH/s per GPU. Seems stable overnight. I get some rejects, wheras mining Haven (XHV) I had near 0 yesterday with TRM 8. Currently 26 rejects out of 1650 accepts, >1%
The straight-to-memory verthash.dat is a really nice touch. But, I do notice that the monitoring feature for Claymore's EthMan does not work as it does for ETH mining with TRM. I really like EthMan for my rigs. It would be nice to monitor all my TRM rigs, even if TRM was mining Haven (XHV).
--scryptr
Just curious, what is the power each GPU draws when mining VTC? Power is nearly similiar to ethash mining TRM DEVS CLAIM VTC USES LESS POWER-- But, for my 4GB cards no longer suitable for ETH mining, it is my top earner. I am going to set up a rig with my 2GB Tonga cards and see how it goes... --scryptr It certainly seems to be easier on the cards vs some of the other algos. Ive got it working on a stack of 1050's brought back from the storage closet. 6mhs on 2 rigs worth and a nice tidy profit per day.

Depending on pool this can be just luck. I know on smaller pools i have more variance in payout time. On larger pools its more consistent. In the end it averages out to the same.
A few minutes missed should have a huge effect on pool earnings. But if you are using Zombie mode where it can take time to get back to full speed you may have a bigger dip in the hash graph.

GMiner v1.01 is now available for download.
Download links: Linux x64 Windows x64
Thanks for these links, I bookmarked them. Why they are depriczted. Those versions are ancient and Gminer uses github.... Use the first post and follow those links. Dont be posting links to the devs work..let thedev do that. Posting links of versions in an active dev thread makes everyone wonder if your posting malware. Dont be that guy. And your message is really odd...linking old github site. I know its still out there...but your acrivitely seems verys suspicious. Im sure your aware of the malware link problem around here. Dont be that guy.

Plus 3 smaller rigs when one goes down wont take down all your hash. people never think about the issues....bigger is not always better.

No, I don't understand. That's why I politely protested it as I did. If there are no rules, then a simple warning to users would be appreciated. That choice is yours and other admins. Again, there are no rules. I removed the post within 24 hours. I mean no harm and my protest is just, albeit meaningless and foolish. Peace I shall find. I Hope the same for you. Also, cheers to listening to my banter without banning me. I've had worse treatment with my loud mouth than that! ha Is there a central place bitcointalk keeps their rules for postings? It may be a good idea to let users know about the rules if you're going to punish them for breaking them
You had Been active in this forum at 2018-2019 Meaning those years are mostly the season where Selling of accounts being discouraged in tis forum. Yeah there is no proper place and even rules that says this is prohibited but this has been going On for years now and if you only visiting Reputation section Here >> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=129.0and Scam accusation here >> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0You will understand why this is being a negged action , Because of many cases happens in the past and even now that Bought accounts are being involved . Hope you'll find peace in regarding this matter and May learn the consequences for having this thread. Here is a link to the rules...its in the first 4 posts and stickied at the top of each forum.... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0Rule #20 on that list provides more details.

How much are you guys making with 30 ethash in recent days? Whattmine is saying high values, like $4,5, yet I can only get around $3,6 per day per 30 ethash. I realize mining calculators are not perfect but the difference being so off is making me curious if others are making more.
Whattomine.com says 30mhs on eth = $3.76/per day without power costs. Try using the 'Difficulty for Revenue" to Profitability 24h seems to provide the most accurate answer. Currently about $1.25 per 10mhs.

There are huge difference between a FARM and a hobbyist/home miner. The adapters work fine and are not a problem long term.
When planning more than a few rigs it is good advice to reduce the number of adapters etc...but once up and working ive seen no problems with them. But if i had 100's of rigs i probably would avoid. Ive got almost 40 rigs and the few that have these have never given me a single pit of trouble. YMMV.

guys, im running PM5.4c on linux based, i have 5 RTX570 gpus and i have a low hrate. Can someone help me how to access bat files to see what is wrong cause i tried everything and cant access it? i wanna check rvram and dagrate if i need to but no luck for me (3 days already) Not mine rig, im just trying to make it works ok Tnx in Advance First off..its linux so its not a .bat files. It will be a .sh file. If you cant edit a trxt file in linux how you expect is to help you. Then you add its not your system. I mean a simple ‘nano (filename)’ is one method to edit a text file.

If it's the case then can we expect to see Ethereum developers doing regular hard forks to stave off ASICs like Monero developers do?
Nah Proof of Stake (POS) removes the need for miners.....probably want to read up on that. And please link the RandomX Asic you refer too above?

:: RVN hashate on TRM ::
I am getting 14/15Mh's with:
- RX 470 - RX 480 - RX 570 - RX 580
Does anyone know the hashrates for:
- RX 550 - RX 560
I already have searched and found a video that the guy says he can make 7-10MH with RX 550 4gb. Is that correct?
7-10? Possible, but for ethash, not kawpow https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2046072.07mh on Kawpow for RX560, the RX550 can do around 3 - 4 If you insist on running the RX550 maybe consider ETC as it may well provide the best earnings. The compute part of kawpow is going to be bad as you see about for the 550 but the memory is ok and etc is memory restrained. The 550 will do 13-14mhs on ETC. Which should make it the top performer for it.

Less destructive mechanical method

Thing is they are selling for north of a grand....seems suspicious when suddenly $800 and no past history of any sales. Doesnt pass the sniff test...even Newegg isnt shuffling them out that low.
|
|
|
0 sales prior...its not going to end well. When 5700s and 3060s sell for more than that...its a scam.

Well its a 4gb card and doesnt benefit from any of the tricks used to make amd cards mine on 4gb. You can mine ETC or some other coin but the days of mining ETH on these cards is long gone.
