421  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best gambling site in 2021 on: December 30, 2021, 04:02:41 PM
There may have been a lot of new gambling sites popped up but, to be honest, most of the sites were not up to the mark & don't fit the criteria to say best gambling site. Either way, I pretty much liked flush.com though they are stuck with a few games only. Another one I used for a while is rollbit which is somewhat good as well.

The year 2021 has been flooded with the introduction of but new and old gambling platforms, the forum witness high traffic the year 2021 recorded the highest number of new gambling sites registering the presence on the forum while some became successful other simply scam and left. Let see a list of gambling sites that score the highest in 2021.
What's your back to claim this? Do you have stats to say so; can you share with us?
422  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bethub.gg | The world of High Stakes! 👑 on: December 30, 2021, 03:48:19 PM
A new face in gambling section, probably he has no idea about the house edge and how it works.
Hell, yeah; he was asking what's house edge LOL.

Make it clear. To whom you will apply the KYC if the threshold reach between regular customer or a one time customer? I understand correctly your statement since you are shedding some light here about your KYC procedure. You will not apply KYC to those casual user that playing below the min threshold right?

But in case someone win above the minimum threshold amount, He/she will undergo to mandatory KYC.
I guess he was talking about their ANti-Trade system. If someone is simply depositing and trying to withdraw, they will be required to undergo KYC but yeah, his post didn't clear up any specific rules & I can't find anything related to KYC on the site; probably I'm missing soemthing I guess.

The splitting between both seems like 50-50 agreements

There are 7 outgoing txes for cabalism13 and only 1 was documented. The total amount for undocumented txes were: 0.54722358 BTC (I have no idea how much they were in USD).
Quote
2 outgoing txes for bL4nkcode and total was: 0.56639445 BTC

I hate to believe that but so far none of them tried to prove our speculation wrong which made me think as well they successfully did a scam. They sent funds to crwth to run the activity as he was involved from the beghinning. If they didn't give it to crwth, crwth would suspect them & raise his voice. Hence, the trick I guess.
424  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My Beginner Bitcoin Questions for 2021 (will be posting more in 2022) on: December 29, 2021, 07:38:03 PM
1) Once all 21million bitcoin have been mined, will transaction fees be enough incentive for miners to continue validating transactions on the blockchain?
[2017-06-08] What Happens to Bitcoin After All 21 Million are Mined?

Quote
2) What is the significance of bitcoin being "open source"? Doesn't that mean that the fixed amount of Bitcoin in the original code could be changed? (This speaks to my lack of programming knowledge I guess)
If you change the original code & its fixed amount of supply; welcome, you have successfully created an altcoin. That will not anymore be bitcoin. You can't change the supply of bitcoin.

Quote
3) A major draw to cryptos like Bitcoin is its decentralized nature. But in order to participate in the game, you need an internet connection right? So aren't cryptos unavailable unless you have a centralized power that provides the ability to connect to the internet? (Maybe this speaks to a lack of understanding about how the internet/wifi connections work)
Maybe you are right. You may get interested to read this- SENDING BITCOIN WITHOUT THE INTERNET

Quote
4) If a block is limited to approximately 2,400 transactions. Once Bitcoin becomes more widely used and there are millions of transactions taking place everyday, wouldn't that create a backlog of transactions? And couldn't that make the system super slow and inefficient at confirming transactions. (could the code be updated to allow blocks to be confirmed faster than 10 minutes?)
Where did you find exactly 2400 txs? It depends on the size of the txs.
If block time changes into faster-
Faster block conf times leads to a higher rate of orphaned blocks, increases the likelihood of dishonest folks from succeeding in double-spends in certain circumstances, and creates a larger blockchain.

A confirmation is not a guarantee of authenticity. Decreasing conf time proportionally decreases the "value" of the confirmation. Decreasing confirmation times would be accounted for in services requiring confirmations, where required confirmation times would be increased to completely negate the decreased conf times. (for example, Gox requires 6 confs -- reducing conf time to 5m would result in Gox requiring 12 confs)

... That said... to compromise the Bitcoin network back when the six-conf suggestion was suggested, it was dramatically less expensive to have double-spends confirm. Three confirmations is now more than adequate for all transactions under hundreds of thousands in USD. Going beyond is really just (inadequately) protecting yourself against a fork. Maybe it is time to discuss lowering the target conf time?

ETA: Devs may also be trying to encourage Bitcoin transactions to occur internally on central servers to keep "casual" transactions off the blockchain... OTOH, they seem to be in general consensus that the block size should be increased in the near future. I'm sure one'll come in soon and tell us what's up.

5) *kind of a wild conspiracy theory type question* I've heard it said that world powers typically last for about 250 years. As the United States is coming up on its 250 year anniversary, could failure to adapt to cryptocurrencies, overregulation by government that slows progress, etc. be our downfall as the rest of the world speeds ahead into this new world and we are left behind? (sorry if this is a dumb question lol)
That's a question for Economy board.
425  Other / Meta / Re: TheBitcoinTalkShow - First episode is here! on: December 29, 2021, 07:22:24 PM
Cool one. I was just checking meta & found the first episode released. We could have a party on the release; I wouldn't mind paying the bill LOL.
Did I hear it right?
Quote
It changed lots of people's life forever.
I mean sig camp? I guess ChipMixer has a decent payment while others pay a very little amount. Ah, I guess I got it. If people have hold their BTC earned from campaign, they must have made a huge amount. Make sense.
If it possible then add this from next episode.
You can always enable subtitles. Probably you don't know how to do that.
426  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bethub.gg | The world of High Stakes! 👑 on: December 29, 2021, 07:09:03 PM
But I found this, is connecting to social media a way to get some rewards? I think it would be very unwelcome to just link it because it automatically has permission to access social media if someone just wants to get rewarded.
It's not mandatory to connect your social media accounts. If you don't like your social media accounts to get connected, why bother to claim the reward? I would simply ignore and move on if some such free claims require for my social media account to be connected.

What is the house edge as I couldn't find that on the site, we already have existing casinos that offer a high percentage of even more than 5% which are already reputable with 100 active players on the site.
5% house edge? Which casino? Do people even visit that site? Do you know what you are talking about? Learn more about house edge here- https://knowyourodds.net.au/house-edge/
The lower is it, better for the players.
427  Other / Meta / Re: New child board idea - Notable Twitter Threads on: December 26, 2021, 05:55:07 PM
What about "Notable Facebook Thread", "Notable reddit thread","Notable Telegram Thread"
I guess this will be a nice idea to implement.

By the way, if all these get implemented, the forum will look nice. It will be easier for newbies to find out everything very soon as they need to check the child board to child board to child board, again child board & again child board  Grin
428  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake.com - $1m Race + $1m giveaway - is this user real?! on: December 26, 2021, 05:44:00 PM
It's not the first time Stake is having such a giveaway; did we ever have any shady activities from stake? I guess I haven't seen any. I would say it's someone a real user.
Now, even if the user isn't real; in that case, a user made by stake.com, is there a way to verify this? I guess no. We can discuss, argue for a long time but as long as stake don't say it's a fake user, it's not a fake user.
By the way, how logical is it to have a $300 million wager within 5 days? I don't play big; I don't have much knowledge of this. I mostly prefer sports betting.
429  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: We have the right tools but many don't know how to use them on: December 25, 2021, 06:34:53 PM
Many even don't know coinmarketcap & coingecko exists and they are providing the correct contract address for any token. It's the noobs who don't have an idea how crypto works but looking for making a quick money without any investigation/researches.
By the way, don't depend on coinmarketcap & coingecko or any other coin performance tracking site as information like mcap, volume can be faked, wrong. Always verify.
430  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk Charity and its funds on: December 25, 2021, 06:25:04 PM
@crwth, Didn't you know what's going on with the charity fund, escrow contract wasn't in its way & if any corruption on going? Did you know anything? If yes, why didn't you alert the community about it? Don't you think you should share with the community about things that are not going accordingly? It's great that you have provided some documents which are real; to me it's real.

431  Economy / Gambling / Re: VR online casinos? on: December 25, 2021, 05:34:14 PM
I have neither looked for a VR casino nor have a piece of huge knowledge of it. I still enjoy playing in the traditional casino; it's not something I really spend a lot of time on. Nevertheless, a few days ago, I got a review on Atari Casino which is still pending I guess but OP managed to play as Atari Casino made it live before the launch & it was a coincidence how OP got the access. I guess you will enjoy the thread. There's another one which is getting built on SandBox AFAIK namely VegasCasino; had watched it on youtube the other night.
432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino account ban cases on: December 23, 2021, 05:40:37 PM
As far as I have observed most of the ban cases & accusations from the account holder, most of them were for multi-accounting but the most important part here is that most casinos use this rule as a weapon to hold user funds. When a user wins big & withdraw, they look for KYC, etc, and lock the account & fund while as long as users deposit & lose fund, they don't care either. This is really a shit system but we have to bear with this.
433  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk Charity and its funds on: December 23, 2021, 05:34:44 PM
I can still access it from my email. Wondering why it's private instead of making it public.
Can you save it in Google Docs and share your own copy?
No permission other than "view only" was given. It was my surprise when I tried to access it with my laptop. I couldn't & I'm sure that I was logged in with my email address; while I can access it from my mobile LOL. I have copied a few tabs only where the summary was added. You can check out it here- https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1fBlmMu5sRqD3i-SUw1MtUIE54lNTzOvxpfFuiDZW29s/edit?usp=sharing
Let me know if more tabs are required; I didn't because I guess these aren't necessary.
It would be good if yahoo62278 would confirm the data are the same as the one shared by cabalism13; just to make sure I didn't tamper with any data.
434  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉Owl.games🦉Sportsbook & Crypto Casino For Web 3.0 - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: December 23, 2021, 05:15:04 PM
Aren't you the one who lost $1000 (sent to the bitcointalk address by mistake). I really hope you recover the fund.

Do you have sports betting as well? I guess I'm gonna love it. But it's still in Beta mode? When can we expect it to be launched with the full feature? It has been a while we have seen such a site launch I guess though I didn't have checked out most of the recently launched casinos.
435  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk Charity and its funds on: December 23, 2021, 05:03:07 PM
Earlier, I had sent a PM to bl4nkcode to explain some of the points/questions I had which I posted here in the thread but he did neither respond to PM nor here in this thread. This is ridiculous that none of them giving an F*** here.

Are you suggesting they're alts?
I don't think they are alts. cabalism13 is quite different than the rest two from what I have observed; not sure about the other two though.

I should have saved the spreadsheet.
If you need it, you can PM me. I have some screenshots. I can still access it from my email. Wondering why it's private instead of making it public.
436  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: December 22, 2021, 10:02:22 PM
And Real Madrid continue from where they left. They are leading by 2-1 against Athletic Bilbao now. And I think they will win this one and atone for the point loss vs Cadiz.
I had a bet of both team to score and I won that one. Now that there's a chance of the match getting drawn and the odd is quite good, I just took the chance LOL and placed a bet for a drawn. I know it's not going to be easy as the way Athletic Club is now playing but it's very possible; after all, it's all about 1 single goal now LOL. Let's see what happen.

Madrid's only known rival is Barcelona.
FCB has passed its golden time and they aren’t even close to get back such time anytime soon; not at least in this decade. If we look back at FCB's history, they are same as they were before their prime time in the last two decades. Madrid vs Barca was more of fun when it was a play between Messi & Ronaldo, Ronaldo Lima & Dinho.
437  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk Charity and its funds on: December 22, 2021, 09:57:27 PM
Is this spreadsheet created by you based on information you provided in this post, or it's coming from original Charity team?
No, they sent the spreadsheet to yahoo62278 before I had the spreadsheet created. But that doesn’t include a lot of information if you are expecting to get something. As I shared above, it has some wrong information as well & name of the ingredients and their price. No records of price receipts.
Did you read the below quoted post? Please read if you haven’t. I had a look on the spreadsheet and found this without spending much time.
I just had a quick look on the spreadsheet.
438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos that offer the biggest bonuses for this season on: December 22, 2021, 04:42:48 PM
Everyone has already shared the reputed casinos & their bonuses for the XMAS. I would like to recommend you to not get into a new casino for getting a lucrative bonus; you know you may lose the deposit as well. There are a lot of new sites getting popped up every day in the gambling sub with a lot of lucrative offers and sadly, many gamblers are getting into their trap as well. Just have a better look, don't jump in because of the lucrative offers.
439  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk Charity and its funds on: December 22, 2021, 04:32:13 PM
Access denied? I thought to have a little audit but  Roll Eyes

The spreadsheet is asking for access. Why can't we make is public?
It was public earlier today morning when I posted last time. There was some wrong (or wrong) information which I have pointed out.

As for crwth I think he is clearly less at fault than the other two.
Don't you think how the activity was going on was known to crwth? He could have raised questions if things weren't going accordingly. Either way, he didn't have included anything yet; no tx record, no clear amount.
As for now, I don't want to tag either of crwth & bl4nkcode nor I'm supporting the flag. I'll give them time to respond to the issues for a few more days. If they can't come clean, I will tag & support the flag.
Just have tagged cabalism13 for not being transparent as he is the host of the charity.
440  Economy / Reputation / Re: Bitcointalk Charity and its funds on: December 22, 2021, 01:28:05 AM
I just had a quick look on the spreadsheet. It was not satisfiable. Though bl4nkcode & crwth expenses have some in depth, cabalism13 didn’t put any.
Either way, I'm confused on the following-

1. Cabalism13 said he spent 0.1225 BTC on this event- https://www.facebook.com/cgslagunadebay/posts/1295536597476624
This 0.1225 BTC is the amount from 0.55+ BTC from the leftover fund sent to Binance on 4th January 2021 but the event Cabalisn13 linked is from 23rd November 2020. Time travel? JK. Can cabalism13 please explain whether it's a wrong one or not?

2. In the details of bl4nkcode spent, you have shown bl4nkcode received 0.25 BTC and spent them. Okay. He received the fund in June 01, 2020; while in the screenshot, there's some USDT sell proofs which is from February 2021. He was supposed to sell the 0.25 BTC before June 11, 2020. Well, he did too. But what about the usdt tx in February 2021? bl4nkcode have received fund in January 2021. Run activities in December 2021 but why the USDT tx from February 2021?

3. bL4nkcode run 2 activities after this thread created? While he received the fund more than 11 months ago on his Binance. When did he sell? How much worth of USD?

I need to check out more. I don’t have time now; it's morning here. I will be checking out more on evening.
