421  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BITMAIN announces Antpool on: March 17, 2015, 03:12:56 PM
Engineers are working on the issues continuously.  This is a sad thing for us to say, but please set a backup pool outside Antpool while we are under attack.

Any chance of an update bitmain? Couple of weeks of bad profit here. Couldn't take much for a five minute update!

3700 Quebec Street
Unit 100-239
Denver, Colorado 80207

This is a little mail box that S3 control PCB in a small box won't even fit.  Just one of the cluster mailboxes out for rent.

This is a building that house Panera Bread and UPS Store.

Many other Bitcoin Companies in Colorado actually use this physical address except everyone's Unit100-xxx be different

P.S:

Also, now there is a walk-in drop off and pickup is available for Bitmain Product Warranty Services at below address

Denver Bitcoin Center
747 Sheridan Blvd #5b, Lakewood, CO 80214
(720) 441-3388

*It can be dropped off virtually 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Prefer 8am-10pm range, so the local hardcore mining guys and gal can utilize it before or after work, without worrying about missing the work day.

With an advanced appointment, you can always meet our techs who work on your miner.

Denver is the hub for internationally located staffs and techs who answer telephone, live chat, tickets and some invoicing issues if you or your business have a must reason to purchase the hardware within the continental USA.  Warranty Parts are globally positioned and managed from Denver to better serve you no matter where you are.  (And better yet, it is operational 24 hours a day on most of the part of the year including the national holiday)

For now, the best option would be buy in the 2nd hand market... We do not sell S2 parts.

Capacitor on the other hand, you can buy them on Ebay, too but if you really can't buy it, we may have them in stock from USA side as I have seen the reels sitting on the shelving somewhere.

It could be a defective one.  Please check with the seller for the warranty period.  Is it a wire cage looking version or the metal case?

431  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is minersource.net legit on: March 15, 2015, 08:09:23 PM
We are still getting contacted from the customers of Minersource.net and Miner Hosting LLC... so let us repost this!

Also, we are getting inquires from minersource.net customers regarding hosted miners went offline for weeks and missing. We are NOT affiliated with minersource.net or Miner Hosting LLC and we DO NOT have information regarding their business status.

We have nothing to do with any miners being hosted by Minersource.net or bobsag3 or Thomas_s.  They were either hosted in their Aurora, Colorado facility or some at various locations.  Some users posted that Minersource.net was hosting miners at other facilities as well.  Please look at the trust feedback related to bobsag3 or Thomas_s for additional information.

According to some customers, some miners were sent to MinerSource's Facility in State of Oregon in USA. (We never verified that but it appeared the facility belonged to other company.

@OpenToe

Yoshi asked us to post this for you and others who need this info.

This is the fan spec for S5

Dimension: 120*120*38mm
Voltage: 12V
Start voltage: ≧8V (Power ON/OFF)
Power consumption: 1600RPM 1.68W / 4000RPM 25.8W
Rated current: DutyCycle 100% @ 2.15A
Air Flow: 4000RPM @ 178.3CFM (Max be 239CFM)
Noise: 4000RPM @ 56.7 dB-A (Measured in a Non-EchoChamber)
Life Expectancy: 40,000 hrs @ 25℃  (May degrade faster at higher temperature)
Connector: 2510-4P

you can use alternative fans, but please remember, that will void your warranty.  When you consider other fans, please pay close attention to the Voltage, RPM, CFM and the power connector!!!

S2, S3, S4, S5 and C1 fans will soon be available for sale from USA.

Also, Bitmain does not endorse any third party solutions, however, CryptoGlance is a nice status reporting system Yoshi even uses time to time as well as M's Miner.  (Both solution works for any CGMINER API enabled Bitcoin Miners.

M's Miner Monitor can also interact with the miners and it is not just the status monitoring system.

437  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer U3: Decentralization continued. Order now, Ship on Nov. 5th on: March 14, 2015, 10:02:44 PM
Another that can think of would be try using the Externally powered USB hub.

Multiple U3 use, if you are powering up both together, you can unplug one then plug it back in to see if it gets recognized.

If none works, was this the new Cage Style or the Silver Metal cover version?  Also, when did you purchase it?
438  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER C1 Discussion and Support Thread on: March 14, 2015, 09:51:20 PM
What feature from S3+ you wanted to see in C1?

Picked up a S3+ off of ebay. I wish the C1 had a better firmware. The features on S3+ are way nicer.
439  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: most profitable pool on: March 14, 2015, 06:38:31 PM
Pool wise, normally antpool can be good, however, we are experiencing the DDOS in the last few days.

PSU wise, if you can, please try at least 750W or 850W for the S5 x 1 use.  If you use the higher wattage PSU, such as 1300W, you can connect 2 x S5 on 1 PSU.  Example be EVGA 1300W

Hi, I am about to buy 11 antminers s'5 and ,being new in the mining stuff, just need some help to find the most profitable pool . I readed about slush, and antpool...but just dont know. I am from spain and I got a page that sell for 40 € a  Tacens Radix VII AG 600W 80 Plus Silver,do you see them good for the s5? thank you.
