421  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Another assault for wearing MAGA hat, retaliates with a sword #magasamurai on: April 11, 2019, 09:29:52 AM
He "just" flipped his hat off that's assault i guess i don't really know much about the american law, but retaliating with a samurai sword sounds flipping insane
why was he carrying a katana in the first place ?
Maybe he was a spiritual samurai, following the bushido codex? It's a form of religion, ya know? Complicated believe system that obliges believers to carry a sword. He was just fulfilling he's religious rights. Grin Or maybe he just bought it, in the souvenir store?
Think about what kind of moron one have to be, to attack a man with a freaking katana... that's what's really insane here.

422  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is raising money for Facebook Coin on: April 10, 2019, 12:16:32 PM
Wait what? Fakebook is issuing FakeCoin?!
shut-up-and-take-my-money.jpg
But seriously, scrolled through this topic quickly and only a handful of people find this lame and laughable.
Such huge company, so much money and... a fundraiser  Roll Eyes wow
It's another subversion people, now they are after Satoshi's Logos... ridiculous
423  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Contest with $30,000 in GUARANTEED PRIZES now live! on: April 09, 2019, 05:33:07 PM
I am in no way complaining Cheesy If I can get a lambo for free I would drive it to everywhere, not just to work or something if I have to pick up the trash and throw it outside I would just hop on my car and drive to nearest big trash place and throw it there just for an excuse to drive the freacking lambo Cheesy.
I know you are joking but in a way my petrol-head got mad for a second.
Saying stuff like that makes me think you are not deserving to have such vehicle.
You do realise that driving heavily "turbo'ed" engines with huge cc on short distances, prevent them from achieving proper working temperatures? This breaks engines dude  Undecided  Cars like that are meant to be respected otherwise they will kill you. If not physically, than financially. Good thing you are preferring Elon's toy though.
424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Find Satoshi? on: April 09, 2019, 03:56:43 PM
I also have same question. Why do you want to find him? Bitcoin not works like is wrote in whitepaper? You not like the price or? You see that Satoshi sell mined bitcoins from his wallets?
I don't think there is any specific reason for all this pondering on who he is, other than that people are just curious.
You know, seeing is believing. Not much would change if we had Satoshi's selfie on some ridiculous social media.
I think it is actually million times better that he is "missing", this only shows that bitcoin's protocol is anonymous and can be trusted to keep your identity a secret. Basically every claim about btc not being 100% anonymous, can be refuted with one single question.
Genius and clever indeed, to me those can only be traits of a person, one person!
425  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Check Out my Bitcoin Hugging Strategy!!! on: April 09, 2019, 10:18:16 AM
Thanks for the comment.
With all due respect, your so called "strategy" has the potential to hug nothing but an empty wallet.
This is simple martingale, that was proven false in early 20th century.
All you do is a promotion of mathematically and logically incorrect system, based on fraudulent (in nature) multi-account mechanics.
That's of course just my humble opinion, any one is free to follow whatever he wants, however consequences of tricks or hacks are unavoidable and those nobody can choose, they will follow regardless.
426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AGAIN: China says it wants to eliminate bitcoin mining on: April 09, 2019, 08:54:17 AM
Mining does not have any significant effect on nature as greens always want us to think. Mass production of some plastic shit is dumping more waste than producing electricity for mining. Also, nuclear energy is very cheap and nuclear energy will still be used for at least 50 years or even more. So BTC mining does not cause any significant amount of pollution and at the same time no one is lacking electricity because of it.
I also think the same way, one more thing I could add is the argument of wasted potential.
Imagine that all mining rigs are magically turned off tomorrow. Does the amount of energy produced by the power plants is also reduced adequately? Answer is no. They would still produce at the same level. Nothing would be changed accept maybe the frequency that was reduced from 50hz to 49.8 a year ago. Nuclear power plants are designed with specific power output in mind, they simply can't work correctly when there is no enough consumption. As we are unable to store power, everything of the excess that was produced and unused is truly wasted. So in fact bitcoin mining helps to preserve electricity market and utilize this, what would be otherwise pointless trash.

428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto ‘Won't Turn Out to Be a Complete Delusion' on: April 08, 2019, 10:43:29 AM
-snip-
So even now they are trying to figure out how to do it but it seems they are realizing that they will not find a way anytime soon which means that they may try to join bitcoin and to try to destroy it from the inside with their influence and money.
I'm not even going to try to ask who are those "they" you are mentioning... it's becoming more and more obvious to people.
But I seriously doubt, that there is any plot against bitcoin going on today. There might have been one in the past, for a moment but now we can see how all major industries, are implementing blockchain. How new hype on stable coins is forming etc.
Delusion dilemma is out of the question for quite some time, only uninformed, jealous and close minded folks are what's left in the dispute. It is their bubble that is going to burst one day, not bitcoin's. Amen  Roll Eyes

429  Economy / Speculation / Re: When you win does someone else have to lose. on: April 08, 2019, 09:58:57 AM
I would say it is perspective dependant, what view you are willing to take results with a particular outcome.
Like in this example below, Pursuer  sees two winners, someone else may see two losers because they have depraved themselves of future possible profits and lost 500,1000  bucks respectively etc. That would be my stance in a way, I do not believe in fiats any more, for me any exchange from crypto is a loosing situation. All I want is bitcoin to become a legal tender, so exchanges can go obsolete.
secondly, the market is so much more complicated than that. for example imagine price that is rising from $3000 to $4000. if I buy at $3000 and sell at $3500 to you whom will sell at $4000 we have both made profit and there is no "loser" here.
430  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trust in new crypto-trading apps? on: April 07, 2019, 02:06:01 PM
I don't have a single app related to crypto on my phone I'm currently using.
Not saying that all of them are there to grab you and squeeze coins out of your wallet, however it is more about the info they need me to provide. There is just to many and I don't like that. The moment you realise how much stuff you shearing about yourself with those companies, makes you wonder why exactly, what their goal might be? Second thing that makes me to avoid all financial applications is the fact that they can extract info from one another. This was exploited before and will be in the future. Better to be slower and a bit less informed than sorry.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hope for hodlers on: April 07, 2019, 01:20:14 PM
Unfortunately, I am a crypto holder and the last year was not easy for me. But now I see that the market is coming to life and I have hope that the best time is still to come. In the end, hope is all that remains of the hodдers who have lost 99% of their savings in dollar equivalent.  Sad
I'm not sure what is so unfortunate here, unless you have dumped at the all time lows then you are still good to go.
It was known that we have a massive promotion basically, nothing better of a news for alt's hunter / holder.
Patience not always pays back immediately, that's why it is called patience. If holding for 3-4 years is discouraging to somebody then I have really bad info for such person.
432  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: April 07, 2019, 06:54:05 AM
This is my Bitcoin Address

bc1q7allgsdjyy2as50yl2ktf7wevuzwf6lfuupyn8
Adders quoted and basically you are good to go, however it is advised to sign this address with your wallet software, just to be sure you will be able to do this in the future. Here you can find a tutorial.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Converted all altcoin back to BTC on: April 06, 2019, 08:44:48 PM
Why are people losing so much trust in altcoins ? This wants to make me believe what one of this forum users wrote that, Bitcoin will only be the cryptocurrency standing in 10 years to come.
Simply out of disappointment. When somebody counts on profits beyond reason, it can be quite a reality check after some time.
Patience is not always what does the trick with all those alts. Over saturation of pump and dump schemes won't make it easier either.
BTC will prevail, that's for sure but not as the only one. It's not like there are to many coins, it the actual usage and credibility that matters.
434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would you be satisfied with steady, gradual rise of BTC price? on: April 05, 2019, 11:04:44 PM
Steady and gradual will NEVER happen with crypto though it would be preferable in many ways.
Never say never Smiley

Birth is not a smooth process. It's a series of contractions. That's what's happening here too.
That's a nice analogy and I tend to agree with you, however bitcoin is 10 now, don't you think the labour part is long over?
Sure, in comparison to other, classic assets being 10 is like being 0.1 however a day of birth is also a bad representation.
Maybe this is exactly what we are getting here, following the kid analogy, crypto is becoming a teenager and as such it "decides" its place in life? Still long way to go, I hope and stabilisation is not excluded. It may happen.
435  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would you be satisfied with steady, gradual rise of BTC price? on: April 05, 2019, 09:48:05 PM
I know there is literally no chance to see this in reality..
I just wanted to see how many people would like and appreciate this model instead of bull runs and bear market 80 % falls ... euphoria and depression --- or how many people are to impatient to wait... and the opinion on benefits of this model to btc system in general., because there are opinions that exactly crazy bull runs attract people to invest, following FOMO and greed..
For quite some time now, I'm having exactly the same conclusions on your adequate "euphoria and depression" model.
Steady and generally gradual growth, seems like the only way possible. Any other than that fills the market with doubts and uncertainty and those simply can not work well for businesses of individuals. Nevertheless this is free a market, one of the last truly free in fact so it will arrange itself without our help. Whatever its path will be, it's going to be a wonderful study and I found myself lucky to ba a part of it.
436  Economy / Speculation / Re: And back down to 4k :) on: April 05, 2019, 03:05:57 PM
relax. -snip-
This should be written with big, golden letters all over the place. RELAX
Maybe easier said than done for some, but I think being all hyped up by those little changes is actually harming the whole idea.
By tracking the exchange ratios, one is expressing how little he cares about the technology and value of the idea itself.
Not only price in dollars is important in this world, look past that and just try to see the true revolution, not only in your wallet but also within thyself.

People pray for bitcoin's price to go up more than they pray to god  Shocked
If there is any god he must be tired of all those prayers, I would be. So maybe it is better to stop praying and do something, before this god gets angry? He has this history of being kinda jealous all the time, ya know  Roll Eyes
437  Other / Meta / Re: The forum is slowly changing on: April 05, 2019, 10:01:19 AM
I don't know what OP's point is about signature campaigns.  Those aren't new, but the number of new ones has actually gone down significantly.  The number of bounties has increased if I'm not mistaken.  And yeah, lots of alt accounts around here.  That's also not new, though.
Agreed, not much have changed since 2017 maybe accept the rise of ridiculous bounty offers.
In fact, if any change happened, I would say it was a change for the better. Amount of obvious scams was reduced, poor quality posts are harder to find, moderation seem to work a lot faster and I think that signature campaigns are still doing good. There are plenty of campaigns to join now, much more then it was a year ago.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the roller coaster repeat? on: April 05, 2019, 09:45:13 AM
It looks like no more roller coasters this time. Gradual and steady increase in price across the board, feels much better.
Nobody can be sure what will happen tomorrow, so nothing certain about upcoming months can be assumed but for me, things look quite good. I like how market became stable, probably I'm not alone and current rises are the outcome of that stabilisation.
Personally I would like to avoid the next hype, stable growth means more trust, more trust results in better adoption and combined, those factors will eventually rise the price even more.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still hodl? Then we go to you! on: April 04, 2019, 06:15:27 PM
Why sit and hodl coin?
Mostly because it is much safer than trading, not to mention hassle free.
There is nothing that have to be done, in order to gain something in the near future. Nothing is always better then something, when it comes to work  Grin And I say work, because trading can be considered as a full time job. It can be tiring, emotionally exhausting and stressful. Risks involved are also a valid factor, not only loosing through bad investments but also all the KYC inconveniences play a role here.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will survive on: April 04, 2019, 05:40:15 PM
at any time the crypto currency will survive even though crypto is still low, and I'm sure crypto will definitely come back again and have a bright future too
I think it will survive and flourish, thrive on the idea of freedom and security that it gives. However it is hard to be so sure about it.
Not saying that its all that bad to have such metaphysical certitude of cryptocurrency's success but at least some realistic, down to earth thoughts needs to be retained. No need to create fake hype that adds nothing accept playfield for fraudsters and such.
Also the survival and well being of crypto is user-base dependent, If we stick to the basic satoshi principles then it should be OK.
