421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why its hard to attract investors on: September 30, 2019, 02:43:29 PM
Before investors are everywhere in crypto currency specially mid 2017 but everything change
Ico's started to boom in the internet, you can choose a lot
of ico that you like, but then started to change , there are ico that are scam, running with investors money in a snap, lending platforms also can be seen, the same happens they suddenly disappear
we have already have a very good market if there are no scammers
they change everything, now investors are so hesitant whenever there is a new coin that are good but they opted out because they think its a scam, I think we should find a way to lessen or better eliminate them for good.
The problem with regards to investors having a hard time to invest on ICO projects, in my opinion, is the situation at this moment. Well, last year, that's really the case, scam projects, but there are ways in order to avoid such problem. The main thing right now is market volatility. Most of the projects are failing and if not, results to either less profit or no profit at all. The time of the investors are being wasted and what's sad about this case is that, we, as investors and holders of cryptos, cannot do anything but to hold and wait for the complete recovery of the market.
422  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one you buy Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: September 30, 2019, 02:17:24 PM
I would prefer not to buy at this moment. The decrease on the price (percentage) of both of these cryptos are not that far from one another simply implying that both of these coins are negatively affected by the downfall, same with other cryptos in the market. I would go with the "playsafe" strategy as what was practiced before, to hold and not to be discouraged by the downfall. The situation is really tempting. I have even planned to sell some of my holdings but good thing I was advised by my friends, not to. Maybe, we should wait for a little more.Investing I think is not suitable this time still.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin price recovery on: September 30, 2019, 01:46:52 PM
The title says it all — altcoin price recovery is underway. Personally, i would be satisfied if prices go back to where they were a few days ago, but a rally that would take them higher wouldn't hurt, either.

What are your thoughts and expectations?

https://coinmarketcap.com/
Still has something to do with natural market volatility. The only problem is that the market value of cryptos are way too active, continuous pump and dumps can be seen these past few months. But the thing here is that, the situation is more favor with alts over bitcoin. Actually, there are expectations that alts would replace Bitcoin as the top crypto. Who knows right? But I would agree with the idea that the market prices should go back to its state *few weeks ago in which stability is more observable than the present. The least thing that we should do now is to avoid concluding at times like this, perhaps, be more observable to avoid risky decisions whether to invest on a token or to just keep on holding tokens.
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: May Altcoin have chance to rally even if Bitcoin dominance is below 70%? on: September 30, 2019, 12:59:20 PM
If Bitcoin Dominance is Below 70%, And Altcoin is back to a sideway trend did you think that the Altcoin may have a chance if not reclaim the number 1 slot which is not gonna happen, but in just having a fighting chance in the market of cryptocurrency to still increase in value in spite the value of Bitcoin not going any where what can you guys say about this?

https://news.u.today/news/top-3-price-predictions-btc-eth-xrp-bitcoins-dominance-is-below-70-altcoins-are-back-to-a
It would still be hard to determine in my opinion, also, maybe we are just used of seeing Bitcoin on top of other cryptos which gives some people assumptions that Bitcoin would still be able to remain on its place despite of the downfall that it is having at this moment. One thing for sure is advisable, simply, to hold both bitcoin and altcoins. Actually, I did not let go of my alts even if some of its prices are close to zero. The reason is simple, the market is way unpredictable and just maybe, there would be a chance that those tokens that we thought of being dead, will soon rise? Who knows? Alts are quite having a good time, if you know what I mean. Holdstill!
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Alt season come soon? on: September 29, 2019, 05:31:17 PM
Cryptocurrency markets continue to stagger but there has been much talk in recent weeks and months of an alt season. But is this really going to happen?

This question have been asked for a couple of times since then. The question that I am referring to , is in general. Many people are making assumptions and predictions of what could tomorrow bring for either of any cryptos (alts and btc) but the thing here is that, assurance is still a problem. The market itself is very volatile making any calculations, invalid. Altcoins sre really giving a hind. The scenario is here: cryptos uncluding btc and any alts are showing positive signs at this moment which encourage many people to invest and give it a try. Hopefully the market itself would be showing positive signs not only alts. That season would come someday but at this point people should be more careful on alts that they have given time and investment to avoid disappointment if ever downfall would be worst than what we are currently experiencing.
426  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Replace Banks? on: September 29, 2019, 04:54:03 PM
The creation of blockchain came with possibilities and predictions of a future where intermediaries could be eliminated entirely. It is capable of executing millions of transactions within seconds at a lower transaction cost and requires no centralized authorization.

With the blockchain trend going on as strong as the moment, is it possible that blockchain will replace banks any time soon in the future?

More here: https://www.hb-wallet.com/post/2018/12/20/can-blockchain-replace-banks
The assumption with regards to total elimination of intermediaries is a bit blurry simply because we are talking about blockchain in this case. Blockchain is indeed showing advantages over banks with regards to transactions but we should always keep in mind that banks do not tolerate anonymity in which blockchain does. Transactions are well organized and monitored on intermediaries which is an important thing especially if we are referring to transactions, obviously, it secures everything on every transaction. Also, banks are under each countries' governments. They would obviously support it over such changes. In my opinion, despite of the huge potential cryptos and blockchain that we are seeing right now, total replacement won't still happen in the future, and rather coexistence.

Your Feedback on why it should be given Merits: Useful for Filipino MEW/MetaMask users.
428  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / [GABAY] Paano mag-import ng iyong private-key mula ibang wallet sa MEW/MetaMask on: June 10, 2019, 12:10:52 PM
Panimula

MyEtherWallet).

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3057277.msg31485515#msg31485515

MetaMask

Private-Key/Keystore-file

429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Bullrun will start? on: November 17, 2018, 10:47:34 PM
Hey guys. I know it is very hard to guess but let’s try. I think bullrun will start in November, of not I think in January or February of 2019. What is your opinion? Which factors do you think will influence bitcoin pump? Want to read your thoughts.
It is hard to tell right now. The market value have again fell and are now reaching lower market value. What happens at this moment makes it more impossible for recovery to take place before this year end. determining when the bull run would happen will be surely hard since the market have gone more unexpected this year. Let's just hope that the following year will be in favor for cryptos and for now hold and wait.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Till date, why is there no crypto that is near Bitcoin's worth? on: November 17, 2018, 10:16:22 PM
With thousands of new cryptos and new ones coming daily. Why don't we still have any coin that is close to Bitcoin's worth?

There are many possible reasons why bitcoin remain on top of the cryptos. First of all, cryptomarket at this moment is on downtrend giving a hardtime for cryptos to have a price increase. Another thing is the demand from the community of users. Bitcoin is a huge crypto due to its large community of users. Its market value havr continuously grew. And also, how long does bitcoin exist has a huge impact.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there hope for this year? on: November 12, 2018, 11:51:22 PM
Anything is possible to happen but personally, I do expect for recovery to happen on the 10th year anniversary of cryptocurrency which is next year. It could be what we are waiting for which would generate hype and interest for investors to invest again. Some investors have stopped investing due to the downtrend which results to huge profit loss. So maybe, once their interest is caught up again, things will be continuous resulting to a bullrun once again.
432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple XRP be the number one cryptocurrency on: November 12, 2018, 11:33:02 PM
Will Ripple XRP be the number one cryptocurrency before the end of the year?

It was really surprising that Ripple have manage to surpass Ethereum recently for being the 2nd topmost crypto but I think surpassing Bitcoin as already something. Bitcoin is a way bigger crypto than ripple and keep in mind that bull run has not yet taking over the market and just imagine how strong will Bitcoin again be once recovery occured. But who knows, what we should focus at this moment is holding and avoiding to panic.
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think this year will be bad year for ICOS? on: November 12, 2018, 11:13:57 PM
Do you have any good reason to believe that the ICO market is going to grow this year?
It apeeared to be not a good year for ICOs and as well to cryptos. The majority of cryptos are on downtrend which affects the ICOs resulting to majority of ICO failure and if not, the market value of the tokens are falling way lower than the ico price which disappoints the investors most of the time this year. As such it is not surprising to know that many investosrs have taken a break to invest on projects due to the complicated market behavior.
434  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in altcoins today or maybe later? on: November 12, 2018, 10:52:10 PM
It would assure that no profit will be lost at this moment if you will not invest at this moment wherein no recovery is happening but it would surely be a huge advantage if you would be able to invest in the right crypto because once recovery come to that coin, it will result to huge profit for sure. So the bottomline at this moment is the risk that is present since the market itself would be hard to depict.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best competitors to Ethereum? on: November 12, 2018, 10:39:15 PM
Aside from Bitcoin, I think Ripple is the biggest competitor of ethereum and what proves this is what happened last month wherein XRP was able to surpass Ethereum as the 2nd topmost crypto despite of the continuous downtrend in the market.  There are many cryptos which could be able to beat ethereum at this moment but since recovery is yet to come we may expect for changes once bullrun occur and it could also be the dominance of ethereum over other cryptos.
436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is altcoin worth investing? on: November 12, 2018, 10:21:20 PM
There are many altcoins which are good to invest and to make profit with but due to the current market situtaion, things would not be going as expected. In fact, many investors are now losing huge amount of profit due to the continuous downtrend so maybe, investing at this moment will not be a good idea not only on altcoin but to all cryptos. It will be a huge risk because no one knows what crypto would be able to withstand the negative market behavior.
437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much it is possible to earn on bounty? on: November 12, 2018, 10:00:49 PM
Hey guys, what do you think? How much is it possibly to earn in bounty? How much did you earn this year? I heard in 2018 situation with bounty is bad ;(
Nowadays, it won't be that much unlike last year wherein majority of the bounty hunters became rich. Many projects are now failing due to the negative influence of market downtrend for this year. It is a domino effect because investors are taking a break to invest in projects since there is a bigger probability to lose profit, which makes the ICOs to fall even more resulting to ICO postponement or delay that also makes the situation worse.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Token price dropping after ICO, why so? on: November 11, 2018, 11:37:07 PM
I have taken part of some ICOs and everytime their token price goes down after the ICO.. why is that so?

EDIT:
oh, nice.. that was helpful and pretty much what I was looking for.. thanks for sharing

Hey

That might be helpful for you to understand the reason behind it - http://cryptoandblockchaintalk.com/why-do-prices-drop-when-an-ico-ends-27

Take care!
It is due to the negative market behavior which clearly influences the outcome of the market price of the tokens once released on different exchanger resulting to huge profit loss for the investors. This is also the reason why some investors have chosen to take a rest for now from investing due to the outcome of as such. But maybe. once recovery starts, they will be back at it again and I think there is nothing wrong with that.
439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin rise in 2019 on: November 11, 2018, 10:18:31 PM
It is quite obvious to every one the value of bitcoin has dropped drastically after reaching it peak of $20,000. It however dropped to $6000+ later in the year which no one saw coming.  As 2019 approaches do you think it will follow the similar pattern again this year?.
I think there's a possibility that Bitcoin along with other cryptos would be able to recover next year due to the hype that the 10th year anniversary would give to the investors. Investors might again be interested to invest on projects that would give positive effect to the demand as well as the market value of cryptos which might be the start of the recovery from continuous downtrend for this year. So definitly, we should wait.
440  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What would you do if the altcoin price dumped? on: November 10, 2018, 11:02:54 PM
I am not having any plans of letting go a token just because the market value is falling especially those that I invested. As an investor, you should aim to win on every investment no matter what happen. Recovery is always possible and all you have to do is to wait and to just be patient during the times of downtrend. It would be really hard seeing how low the profit gets but that's the only way.
