4301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that cryptos such as Bitcoin would be mainstream? on: November 11, 2019, 03:05:00 PM
Majority of governments all around the world are showing zero tolerance towards cryptocurrency since they believe it will take financial control away from them. Let's hope something good comes out very soon so that BTC along with other CC will be used in mainstream payment system.
There are still countries that are strict in implementing crypto or accepting it in used for everyday life, this week I was able to pay my bills and today used my wallet to pay for online shopping. Now that there is able wallet in my country that being used in many tasks like sending fiat/crypto anywhere plus the continuous update and partnership of our countries popular crypto wallet allows me not to rely in banks any longer so soon I know it will be a mainstream in our country as it offers comfort and smooth transactions.
4302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What have been some of your biggest losses/mistakes and successes with trading? on: November 11, 2019, 01:30:35 PM
I will just share my happiness when trading, because defeat is saved alone.
my happiness when trading in 2017 bought PRL for $ 0.001 and sold it for $ 0.1.
truly extraordinary achievement in my career doing trading.
unfortunately the oyster (prl) is now dead and the owner left, I feel lucky to have time to sell it.
Biggest regret is not selling those token I earned from bounties those time, being too thrift and not enjoying the fruit of labor or budgeting it, now I learned my lesson to stop loss and be updated in all holdings that I have. Sometimes it's better to focus on few working alts that hold too much, find time still to enjoy our reward.
4303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 5 on: November 11, 2019, 12:15:25 PM
...would you care to join him so you could also be winning?

This will depend if I really know him personally then I will join him, there just some gambler that are not happy being joined or being copied on their strategies, this thing may lead to fight also if that fellow is too full of himself.

Or would you like to beat the guy on his game?

If first option won't work and his trying to be arrogant, then beating him can atleast loss his ego. It will depends on the character of that fellow, what our actions can be.
4304  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't react to the fluctuations on: November 10, 2019, 01:37:01 PM
It is the FOMO phenomenon when we are afraid to miss something, so many people have lost money because of this.
I think patience is the key to success in life and it is also very important in the cryptocurrency market. It is easy to lose money if we do not keep our calm and patience in all situations.
The best way is to plan ahead and implement it, If you are not a good trader, move on to the long term.
When we plan to hold longer since we know that time will come BTC will have it's ATH again then better have a way to HODL even fluctuations is happening. When we plan we will not be affected no matter how low it can but set amount also when to stop loss if ever.
4305  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 3 Concerns You Have For Bitcoin on: November 10, 2019, 12:31:28 PM
I wonder the most that if Bitcoin can be useful on beating the inflation and the adaption can be increased all around the world or not. Especially, if the mass adaption can be applied, then it will be incredible for Bitcoin.
Inflation will be eliminated thru bitcoin
Governments acceptance and uses of it will be a big help for their economy
The price it can certainly achieve once the supply all used due to mass adoption.
4306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: November 10, 2019, 11:51:12 AM
Hate to say but is true. This is reality, when you think you will be rich after bounty end and then you receive reward. You got so much tokens and you have been calculate you will get so much money if you can sell on ICO price but the actual is the price token when listed on the market is totally low from ICO price. So you only received little amount of money beside you think you will got a lot of money...  Grin
That's fine if they will pay, what worst now is even the spreadsheet is finish and have tokens calculated they still don't pay. If ever they pay some we're not listed in exchanges. If they pay and their not a good project that seems can't last long then better sells them already but worth a wait then wait till bull run happens it will sure to arise again if it's a good coin.
4307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think bounty participate in this year 2019? on: November 10, 2019, 10:57:04 AM
Actually there are quite many bounties and successful projects that paid their participant this year, we just do not know about it all yet. for example gold stablecoin project, they have been paying all of their participants for a few months. even though it is not as good as it was in 2017, they are still paying for your work. try to find the work that pays you Bitcoin if you want to evade this kind of situation again.

I stop comparing my earning from 2017, it's just good to reminisce those time that I was able to earn those amount in just my part time. Projects before are legit and can reach theire soft cap immediately even soldout sometimes earlier. Now that many scam projects are active it's getting harder but believe that they will still pay because if we don't believe we might lose the chance to join then suddenly they will pay.
4308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never possible earn free bitcoin without work. on: November 10, 2019, 09:35:06 AM
No work = no money/bitcoin

This is what I understand. Even a single click, writing contents, joining signature campaigns are considered a job for me which I expected to have some returns or being paid for that simple job. We can't simply get money if we never work for that, in fact, many people suffer hunger because they don't have money and also because they don't have a job either.  But the good thing is that we can get bitcoin even without spending money which people trying to take the opportunity through joining a signature campaign, freelancers or by using their skills and paid by BTC.
Learning and knowing bitcoin gives many opportunities in terms of earning. There are ways to acquired it as long as we work for it like OP listed jobs. So whenever we hear freebitcoins, we are not attracted or easily get scammed since we know how it works to have any of it. Not all our able to know that they can make it as their sideline or extra job so we should take this seriously to still get chance to earn more and not missed this effort.
4309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is worth to invest in dogecoin? on: November 09, 2019, 11:37:34 AM
I'm trading it sometimes, you can still earn having doge thru day trading, but for long term it may not, it can still pump but not that high the other coins can since they have a more used in life and benefits while dogecoin is merely used as tipping or a meme coin. But for day trading its a good investment just like now that there seems to have a bloodbath today but out of CMC Top 30 doge coin is one of this 7 that are in green.
4310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Tide Lifting All Altcoins Boats on: November 09, 2019, 09:59:19 AM
Unfortunately, when the Bitcoin tide goes out, then the altcoin boats also follow it out to sea, why can't they just get stranded high up on the beach right?Wink

But we all know almost everything in crypto relies on Bitcoin, and will continue to do so for at least 5 to 10 more years. Time for us to get on with the program!
It's been the trend that when bitcoin dips other alts dips too. While some may still be in green it doesn't mean they shift to that coin, some that still in green might have developing update that were not able to join in the sea. When I sell BTC I just may convert it to fiat or park in other investment vehicles as I wait for the time to collect more again laters.
4311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can share your own opinion if you have. on: November 09, 2019, 08:45:08 AM
Despite the fact that those who earned by holding Bitcoin has become millionaires instantly, but for now I can say that those who are doing day trade or has become experts in trading are the ones earning a lot.

Day trading is really a good thing, good chance to earn money instantly but still it takes a lot of effort, failure and investment, before we become experts, and once we become expert we can do money everyday.
I prefer day trading too as sometimes I was able to earn more than my salary. The way to earn in day trading is not to be greedy, to take chance of that alt increase and considers the news why those alt increases or decline in price. It may take our time but it's good a try especially if were able to trade. If prefer to invest only then make sure that alt have a working product or better hodl bitcoin if fine with waiting for another pump.

4313  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why say "NO" to Web wallet on: November 08, 2019, 01:26:25 PM
Coinbase is not a wallet Little Mouse.
They are both, an exchange as well as a web wallet, at least they claim that. However, in my early BTC days, I used to use that and had some regular people whom I used buy/sell BTC, they too use coinbase. That's why I am still there. I'm using it for regular use purpose, for others. I have software wallet which I don't carry on my phone.
https://wallet.coinbase.com
Web wallet is just part of their exchange service,so if they found your transaction is from gambling sites or the source is from somewhere they restricted it will have such impact on these kind of transactions.Once they identify that its from an gambling site then your account will be closed, you may or may not be able to withdrew the remaining funds.
They should allow us to withdraw it or they will the one who will send it to you after you fill out details of closing your account. In our country there is a popular crypto wallet like coinbase it's also created to trade with addition features to pay bills and to convert easily to fiat, if it founds out that you're money came from gambling they will block your account to do transactions but will give you info how will you terminate your account, just need to submit the form and wait till it send it to your bank account or preferred recipient since it's still your money.
4314  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Sad news - Coinbase is leaking your information on: November 08, 2019, 11:43:25 AM
That's why it's always important to read the privacy policy of websites before we agree to them for all we know, our information which was supposed to be safe are being given out to who knows what but in the case of Coinbase I am sure that their customers agreed to it willingly and they can't be faulted if they didn't read their Privacy policy.
Since Privacy Policies were usually long that no one's read it, even they include this "INFORMATION FROM THIRD PARTY SOURCES
From time to time, we may obtain information about you from third party sources as required or permitted by applicable law, such as public databases, credit bureaus, ID verification partners, resellers and channel partners, joint marketing partners, and social media platforms." - https://www.coinbase.com/legal/privacy but the companies should know that they are not allowed to exposed our information especially that crypto is made to be anonymous even we do KYC it's only meant to comply in their rules ad to the government mandated laws so they should keep it privately and not sell it for their benefits.
4315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to search for a token name on: November 08, 2019, 09:32:09 AM
We are creating a new token and want to see if our name we are thinking of using has been used before or is in use.  How do we check this?
I'll google it for you since I'm curious too how many websites will pop showing their list and I guest this will be helpfful just ctrl F in the page
https://alphabetizer.flap.tv/lists/list-of-cryptocurrencies.php
or  thru coinmarketcap https://coinmarketcap.com/all/views/all/ to have also the details, google is the best tool now for researching and widely used by many developers who creating projects, you should use it more mate.

4317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Has Been Profitable for More Than 94% of its Existence on: November 08, 2019, 05:39:23 AM
I still feel some regrets though. Way back in 2010, somebody mentioned to me about Bitcoin and must invest some. I replied like "What the hell is Bitcoin?". I ignored that for so long until years later, well......you know how I feel.

Doubt is normal at first in investing, be glad that you still try and use it since many are still not aware that there is bitcoin that can change their future  just as long they try to risk some amount. I'm done regretting in investing and not converting all when ATH happened. I just keep in mind that if it arise again then it's really meant to happen beside since it''s limited in supply and can goes high when many already adopt it and use it in daily lives. Consider our self still early adopters so always think before deciding to sell it.
4318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Good ICO Review Sites on: November 07, 2019, 07:14:06 PM
Hello guys !
I was just looking around and theres so many garbage repost websites outthere about different ICOs.  I wanted to know if theres one that you know doesn't present every idea as great. A very critical good Review site that tends to get it right you know. anyway thanks appreciate your input.
know that you can also consider some review site as garbage since you'll not be needing them. Use this forum discussion and resarch were you can potentially invest, you'll see if there are reports of scam if ever they have. But since you're a newbie then better invest in bitcoin or altcoins that already have product. Investing in ICO or new projects requires time and too deep study.
4319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] Stan World - Virtual Resorts from the STARS & BRANDS on: November 07, 2019, 06:32:27 PM

Our Bounty Campaign has ended due to high demand for tokens and reaching our maximum available token supply.

Thank you to those who have participated. We will review your submissions carefully and distribute STAN coins accordingly to our schedule.

I don't know why still many reports? Bounty already ended. Are your reports will still be counted even it's already been said over. Or since the project is in round 4 of their ICO and IEO it's still continued but not updated in the first page and no updates yet in spreadsheet? Read 1st page for those who still making report.

4320  Economy / Speculation / Re: Newbie looking for advice on: November 07, 2019, 05:16:26 PM
If you don't have bitcoin left I would choose to buy all in with bitcoin first. And if I think that I had enough already that would be the time that I'll spend money for alts.

Don't pressure yourself, keep on accumulating and keep on following that strategy of cost dollar average. You are in good hands if you have all in bitcoin.
supporting this because as a starter(thats you because you are in the next start up from the failure in past)Bitcoin can make your dollars more safer than altcoins and maybe consider diversifying in future but now?just hold bitcoin and decide what to do when you have doubled your money already .
Some are newbies are impatient so they'll be needing some amount to use in exploring than just in waiting. I bet half for BTC for holding no matter what and half can be allotted in alts for trading than  shows potential pump in that period so he can still have some circulating capital assuming he is starting to knows how to trade and earn even small amount in each trade he'll be doing. Since we all know how boring it is to just wait and still don't want to add more capital.
