holy shit wtf just happened.  5.17 and 3.6 in the same day, and on no news.  wild ride.

This what called ,exciting movement.....

Indeed if you were smart would have bought more puts at 5 Smiley
That said it was fun riding near the top seeing if you can cash out before Wednesday hehe
I did cash out most of my shares ,but the only unhappy thing is DMC transferred direct shares to me...which I can't sell it before yesterday.

Still a good day, because half of my coins was sold on MTGOX at 78, and I get them back at 73...Now, I need one more confirmation to pick up every shares I can.

As long as its profit Smiley
I'm going for accumulation so I like lower prices means stuff is worth more in bitcoin usually not always of course ^_^
If it drops too far panic logic kicks in and logic doesn't make sense Cheesy

If something was worth 2 BTC at 90 = 180 then its worth 1.5 BTC at 65 instead of 2.5 ish
If that made any sense (sum it up markets are weird)
What's wrong with BTCT??
It's locked trading for AM???

AM at 3.95?
There is downward pressure, looks like it may drop to 3. Just like last time BTC fell, expect AM to bounce back up as people see the great deals later.

DAMN, FINALLY ,PANIC IS SPREADING.
447  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen once Americans are wake up?? on: July 04, 2013, 04:44:23 AM
As an American resident, I don't give a crap. BTC to bounce to 320 in <1 year.

Off for another cheeseburger.

Hold on ,Captain...
448  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen once Americans are wake up?? on: July 04, 2013, 04:23:31 AM
Once they see the price ,what will they do ?

They will buying or look at the screen says OMG then selling as much as possible ?or nothing will happen ??

Graphs make a nice steep U.

Waiting for the Captain American....
449  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: July 04, 2013, 04:20:39 AM
they dumped AM to dump BTC to get fiat, coz they know btc is heading for 30, that's why.

that still wouldn't make sense. as long as BTC is worth anything, and there is liquidity, then AM share value against the dollar will sustain. In other words, if BTC drops to 10-15% it's current value, AM should rise at least 500%.
They believe the capital growth + dividend growth of AM , is far below than the speed of Price decrease of BTC itself...
They believe selling their shares right now ,equal to more coins later and since AM share price is correlated with BTC/USD ,thus AM shares also will decrease in the future...Thus they can get more shares and more BTC in the foreseeable future...

450  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any word on why Bitcoin has dropped 30% in the last 3 or 4 days??? on: July 04, 2013, 04:12:34 AM
I see no plroblem here, and do not seek explanation.  This is trading.  From a trading point of view, going from 100 to 70 it's the same as going from 10 to 7.  From 2 to 20 is the same as from 20 to 200..
bitcoins are just as volatile as they where most of the time in history.

When Bitcoin will be use by 1000x more peoples/business, then we may arrive at some stabilty versus fiat.. a bullish stability indeed, due to how fiat currencies are created.

Enjoy and try to keep emotions away from your decisions.

I buy as much as I can, IMO every BTC under 100 is at discount !

p.s. anyone know what's going on with the Havelock Investment web site (HIM) ?  Down for a while now..

Summer sales is on .....

I have not yet gotten to the point that I hate them, but I have instinctively avoided them.  I used a combination of localbitcoin and craigslist.

I think eventually MT.GOX will become a history, because its trade mechanism isn't perfectly fit the needs of BTC..once MT.GOX and other similar centralized exchanges become history, I see a bright light of BTC ahead of me....
453  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any word on why Bitcoin has dropped 30% in the last 3 or 4 days??? on: July 04, 2013, 03:16:26 AM
The only things can save BTC is become P2P trading.... centralized Exchange I guess won't help.....they should all be closed eventually.

Were centralized exchanges ever envisioned by Satoshi?

They are what is known as a "target rich environment" for the government.

Maybe they are an evolutionary dead end.

I hate MT.GOX very much ,people regard it as price index...but because it is a target for government , it just contributing to destroying people's faith in BTC...

localbitcoin is a good place to go ,but sad thing is it still linked price with MT.GOX.

I need a strong cigarette to peace my mind.....just check my assets....almost 10K disappear in past 4 days...

Any plan to protect the remaining?

I am freak out.....I just sold all my BTC...But still keep my AM shares......I hope this portfolio is a wise choice. otherwise I am go on silk road ,use my remaining to buy some happy stuffs....you know what I mean ....hahaha
455  Economy / Speculation / Re: I am fucking panicking on: July 04, 2013, 03:07:27 AM
Hang on tight. Don't lose faith. This is time to buy up more coins while we go through this period of slow down.

but what if it goes down some more and wont go up for 10 - 15 years?

What if it goes up and never comes down?  There are risks both ways.

Granted, being as bullish as I am, I always think "this might be the last time we see 70" and so on.  But I do think there will be a day when the double digits, triple digits (and so on) are gone forever.

i agree. but that's not the case. btc is going down and there's no sign the trend will reverse in sight.

Instead of Panic, I choose to pee on my pant, then hold on....
456  Economy / Speculation / Re: Any word on why Bitcoin has dropped 30% in the last 3 or 4 days??? on: July 04, 2013, 03:06:09 AM
We've had a bubble and now it's deflating.

this.  all bitcoin had going for it at those high prices was hype.

I would think it would have crashed even more then.  At least it did not go down to $60 like last time.  I am encouraged it is almost back to 80 after the dip today.  I think it will be back in the 90's in a few days.  Of course, people are probably awaiting news from Mt. Gox with regard to the USD cash Withdrawals being on hold.

nope.  it's just trending down.  why?  cos this aint the 'panic' yet.

your bolded statement says you are in a state of 'denial'.  and that's what most of the people are in right now... denial.

I hate my shares are direct shares.......It makes me stuck right here....

I've been selling off PT's in order to hold direct shares. If I hadn't just cleaned the last satoshi out of my wallets I'd offer to buy from you right now. In fact, if this dip in BTC holds, I might  buy some more BTC/AM. You selling? No need to be stuck.  All fair priced direct offerings that I've seen have been snapped up like candy thus far...
I think I will hold on these direct shares , because the price of PT dump so quickly, it make me non-sense to sell my shares at this time.

Holding BTC is not creating any value for you ,if you really think price will go up ,Get some AM directly shares to get more capital gain based on your prediction.

The reason why ASICM went down is because people are dumb, to put it plainly. I actually sold mid 4's two days ago because I knew peoples perceptions were wrong if they were thinking there was going to be a huge dividend today. Either way, we are still up a lot and now time to load up more shares. I can see ASICM falling more from here just because bearish sentiment scares weak investors. So be it, and let Bitcoin fall too so I can convert more worthless US dollars into Bitcoins and buy even more shares than I could before. Works out great for me. The weak investors can go run to the US stock exchange and have fun with that.. good luck you'll need it.

Yep, the BTC slide feels nasty but hopefully its "cheaper hamburger" time.

The neverending mess with those exchanges is one major issue that is causing alot of skepitcism.

Yes.  Where are all the VCs that are supposedly pouring money into creating better exchanges and infrastructure?  We need them NOW!

The only things can save BTC is become P2P trading.... centralized Exchange I guess won't help.....they should all be closed eventually.
