441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else still regret not buying Bitcoin in 2011? on: January 23, 2021, 04:34:56 PM
Biggest regret in life was not knowing Bitcoin when it was that low of a price, imagine buying a heap amount of Bitcoins and selling it at the ATH value, you're more than a millionaire, those guys are definitely the luckiest people who had that amount of patience with holding, I personally regret not buying a single bitcoin when it was that low, all of us missed the opportunity of actually making that much of a profit, and I felt Nick's regret when he didn't bought BTC at $2.70, that could have been a huge profit.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you in panic whenever there is a big drop in price? on: January 23, 2021, 12:05:44 PM
Panicking only makes things worse, if there is a big drop  in the price, you have options to actually buy and at the same time hold whatever you have right now because when the pump arrives, that's the actual time to get profit, there's no sense in panicking because there's always room for profit and for opportunities to take advantage of the market.
443  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it just the starting of fueling Bitcoin for riding to moon? on: January 23, 2021, 06:59:42 AM
That's quite hefty, 314 bitcoins is a lot and they did bought it a right price, I honestly think it's a good choice for buying, I am speculating that the dump has to happen, that was a huge run to be honest and it definitely has to refuel in order for an ever larger bull run. If the price dumps ever more then I'd say it's time to buy some bitcoins then and gain profit by holding it once the next run starts.
444  Economy / Economics / Re: The sale of the COVID-19 vaccine on the dark web continues. on: January 23, 2021, 02:56:53 AM
I do think that private sectors would definitely give a look at this for a bulk purchase of vaccines, though it's definitely fishy and I don't think any individual would actually buy these in the dark web since governments are ready to provide every citizen either a free vaccine or for a price, and because of this, scammers have a very low chance of scamming anyone, good luck to them.
445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the ultimate winner of Bitcoin pump? on: January 22, 2021, 06:49:32 PM
The people who bought last 3 years ago, definitely was the time where BTC was the cheapest after that huge bull run on December 2017, it came around at $5000, those are definitely the ultimate winners, if they did so, they definitely made the greatest decisions in their lives, although the ultimate winners will definitely those who did hold when BTC was under $1000, they are the real winners.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Take Advantage ,, on: January 22, 2021, 01:29:40 PM
Definitely the time to take advantage by buying, though I am still having doubts since the price might go lower than what we are seeing right now, we can still wait for a day or 2 and see if there is actually a movement downwards, and if there is then I think that's the time to take advantage, right now won't be the best time to buy in my opinion.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Japan Support XRP on: January 22, 2021, 01:14:50 PM
Just to be clear, the market is always unstable and unpredictable, and just to clarify things, Japan itself does not support XRP, nor the government, entrepreneurs such as this guy definitely supports XRP but not the country 'Japan', I do agree that the price would reach $1 in the future for sure.
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Selling All BTC for ETH this Bull Run on: January 22, 2021, 12:52:26 PM
You have to have strong belief in ETH then, just because BTC is falling doesn't mean you'd have to sell everything and shift to Ethereum, remember, the next bull run can happen in the next month or even in the next week, we'll never know when, and we can't 100% trust our data because of how volatile Bitcoin is, although, ETH is also good and reliable, but to compare it with Bitcoin, I just don't think it's a good idea switching to ETH, but who knows, ETH might have a successful bull run.
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs covid 19? on: January 22, 2021, 10:18:56 AM
I honestly don't think it gave out a negative impact, it's a cryptocurrency after all and because of Bitcoin being accessed virtually is a strong factor that COVID cannot touch Bitcoin and the activities, as a matter of fact, the ATH of Bitcoin reached $40k during the pandemic, which means if the vaccine becomes possible, more activities and more opportunities for people to start investing and make a move, which only means that Bitcoin could possible become stronger, although the price may seem to have a drop, I am positive that the next run is near.

451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people still buying XRP? on: January 20, 2021, 05:41:21 PM
Maybe they believe that it will recover soon because it was already in the bottomed price so I guess for them this is the right time to buy a cheap XRP but I don't think if it is good to hold for long term, maybe for short term you will earn profit for sure. I don't expect XRP hitting $1 price seems it's difficult for XRP to reach it.

Same with ETH, some will definitely still support Ripple, and by saying some I meant a lot, there's still hope for sure that XRP would make a comeback, just like what also happened in ETH, but if it does not and continues to plunge into the bottom, then I'd say we bid goodbye to Ripple.
452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some recent tweets by Elon Musk showing he is starting to warm up to Bitcoin? on: January 19, 2021, 06:59:17 PM
I mean, he's the richest guy on the planet, no doubt he'd like to be paid in BTC, not because he's a greedy man, but because he knows and he was specifically pointing out BTC as a currency that is would likely to become the most reliable currency in the future, think about being the richest man at the age of 49, that's how smart and innovative of a guy he is, + he is good at throwing memes, he's definitely an out of this world person, and the best part here is choosing Bitcoin, definitely a smart move, he moved in and invented SpaceX, made another move inventing Tesla, and now, he's planning to utilize the potential profit that he may get with Bitcoin.
453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoin is like planting trees on: January 18, 2021, 06:13:04 PM
I mean, you ain't wrong there bud, although what differs from trees to cryptocurrency is that trees grow on continuously, while cryptocurrency doesn't, Bitcoin-wise, yes, but because of it's volatility, it definitely is a risk, though for a long-term hodling, I guess we'll see and I'll come back to this thread and see if it really does go higher than the ATH that we have right now with Bitcoin.
454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / to see is to believe on: January 17, 2021, 05:26:19 PM
I started off Bitcoin years ago, my family never believed it and said it was all a scam and I should stop (of course I didn't), when Bitcoin was making progress over the years, the influence on people starts to get stronger as time goes by, more and more are starting to believe that there is a thing called "Cryptocurrency".

From telling me to not do Bitcoin because I'm just wasting time to "son, can you teach me your knowledge about Bitcoin?", this is where I realized that Bitcoin is definitely the future to be, to see is to believe and they started to believe me, they did because they saw the value going higher and higher each year, 2020 was the year Bitcoin's value exploded to $20,000 and this was the year that they are convinced that Bitcoin is real, they were so down thinking that it's too late for them, but it really isn't and they can definitely keep up, I hope your family is convinced as well that Bitcoin is real by now and not a joke, I've opened their minds and I hope you can open your friends, or the people that matter to you, because it can definitely help them.
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did Bitcoin catch fire? on: January 17, 2021, 05:14:28 PM
Bitcoin has gone through 11 years since its inception and has experienced ups and downs, but Bitcoin now stands at the pinnacle of cryptocurrencies, it's not the strongest technology, but it has the highest market cap, what do you think caused this?

It doesn't have smart contracts like ETH, it may not have been as advanced as these young cryptos but it definitely is the strongest and more likely to be reliable than the other cryptos, nowadays, you get to see the technology being capped at its maximum potential and just simply slapping the tech on their coins, I get it, they are advanced but Bitcoin on the other hand holds the highest market value, which means that it definitely is going to be picked over the newer coins right now. And as far as I can see, others are just putting up these so called "innovations" just to get the attention of people and buy their coins.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I introduced cryptocurrency to my friends by using DOGECOIN on: January 16, 2021, 06:50:15 PM
I hope you won't disappoint your friends with the wrong investment recommendations.
You should tell your friends a little about the doge background. Apart from that, the hype has passed and you should also point out the history of past doge prices (before going viral) which to be flat.

Am not entirely going to fully lean on Dogecoin of course, rather than a stepping stone for them to gain information on cryptocurrency, nothing will hurt if I introduce them to something they like, after knowing dogecoin, we'll be moving on to the major ones like Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc.
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scammers have a hard time with grammar on: January 15, 2021, 07:38:07 PM
With how bad their grammar is, you can easily identify what is legit and what is not, although some scammers really are smart and can definitely fool the newbies, just like this, even if the errors are noticeable, no matter how bad their grammar is as long as they're able to steal and brainwash newbies from their schemes, then they won't even bother to correct their english grammar.  Grin
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Avalanche surpass Ethereum? on: January 14, 2021, 03:00:42 AM
Avalanche may have better tech, but overall, Ethereum is a well polished cryptocurrency, the downside for ETH is that it is indeed expensive when making transactions, honestly, it's my first time hearing Avalanche, I did a background check on Avalanche and it looks really promising, but as of now, I really don't think it can surpass ETH not only with its value but also its popularity.
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: He said Bitcoin is a Scam: See What happened to Him on: January 14, 2021, 02:52:55 AM
I would've said the same thing, as a crypto enthusiast myself I would've said the same thing and honestly it really is hard convincing someone to believe in something that they've haven't gotten yet or have seen with their own eyes, so if that's the case, the best way is to show them, and that is if they are interested to learn, I've had some people who weren't willing to listen and just bores them out, if that's the scenario, just stop it and let them later on realize how much they were missing out, it is what it is.
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: January 12, 2021, 08:02:52 AM
I see a lot of signature wearers discussing gambling quite frequently in this section of the board. I’m curious, what do you do with your signature campaign earnings? Do you support your advertiser and gamble it on their platform, save it, or spend it? I assume most people probably gamble it, and that’s why signature campaigns are able to be so generous, but maybe some users are taking advantage of the funds to help support themselves or even give back to charities or organizations they enjoy. If you have a good use for your earned signature campaign earnings, share it here, or even if you have a not so good use. Smiley

I honestly split my earnings, when I used to work for Sportsbet, I do split my earnings by gambling the half and holding the half to make sure I won't be the one at loss if I do lose the bet, although I do not gamble and just mainly bet, It was great and I was just really glad I wasn't being impulsive and placed all on betting, after all, having the opportunity to bet is actually addicting but I have to control myself or else I'll lose everything.
