Well I got 4 right out of 5 tonight yay  Cheesy MOL Vidi missed a penalty and Malmo couldn't find the net with 10 goal attempts what a bummer though. By the way guys tomorrow is the UEFA Super Cup match between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. Just a little reminder to get your bets in. Cheers!  Wink
442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when the price of Bitcoin falls below the cost of mining? on: August 14, 2018, 05:24:49 PM
Hashing power depends on the number of active miners and directly affects the Bitcoin difficulty meaning that the more people give up mining the less difficulty it will be for the rest. So if a lot of current miners decide to stop mining due to unprofitability the hashing power will decrease and in turn lower the mining costs. I think this equilibrium prevents Bitcoin from becoming permanently unprofitable to mine in case of unforeseen extreme circumstances that can destroy the market.
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: August 14, 2018, 08:45:23 AM
Less than 1 hour now, unlike in the past I spent 4-8 hrs a day to gamble because it was my hobby before but I am glad I was able to prevent it because I am out of money or coins to gamble because I was able to withdraw 95 percent of my crypto.

Good for you as mostly if you do not win or end up losing in those bets means you lose money and time both. And better to be away from it as it helps you to save both time and money and can be utilized somewhere else for being more productive. And only for fun sometimes you can gamble to enjoy.

I really wonder from such people that how a person can enjoys his life and have fun in gambling when he already knows that he is making big loss with every next move. People never ever had made money from this gambling. Everyone rather lost and if we arrange competition over this number, there would be ultra legends coming in the list so soon. Make good life decision brother.

Some lucky people have made it big with gambling and completely changed their lives so it's not true saying gambling can't bring anything positive. Spending money on one's hobby while having fun is not a sin, but the key is to be responsible and have self-control. Gambling can also be a lucrative hobby that funds other hobbies one might have thanks to the earnings. I don't think it's a complete waste of time, just don't assume gambling is your 2nd job and you will be fine.

Dinamo Zagreb are stellar at home and I think they are going to win their 2nd leg vs Astana as well @ 1.80.
Fenerbahce lost to Benfica in Portugal 1-0 and today in Turkey I expect both teams to score. Benfica is the better team I think and the Turkish side need goals to qualify so this will surely open up the match for goal opportunities.
AEK - Celtic, Trnava - Crvena Zvezda and MOL Vidi - Malmo all finished 1-1 in the 1st leg. My prediction is there will be goals again by both teams and I will make a small parlay with those 3. Good luck.
445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Frustrations: Losing Streak on: August 13, 2018, 01:49:05 PM
Nothing you can do if you’re going through a losing streak. If it’s too bad then take some time out from gambling, try & find other things you enjoy.

This is honestly the best advice for problem gamblers. Unfortunately most people can't stop until all their money is gone which is what usually happens during a prolonged losing streak. I would suggest that bettors with addictive behaviours put aside a small symbolic sum every week and use only that to get their fix. Betting with cents won't break the family budget and will keep the problem in check.
446  Economy / Economics / Re: Newbies panic & Old timers smile, when the Bitcoin price take a dip. on: August 13, 2018, 11:41:45 AM
Trading Bitcoin and making a profit is not as easy as it may seem to people who haven't tried daytrading ever. It requires experience and skills to predict the market and sometimes abnormal dips or spikes may make you lose money. I would say that earnings from signature campaigns are low in comparison, but they are also a secure stream of income while daytrades gone bad could incur unexpected losses that would need quite some time before the market swings back favourably.
447  Economy / Economics / Re: Has Crypto Changed? on: August 13, 2018, 05:56:28 AM
crypto has changed a lot since december from last year as a lot of retards money has got in and the price manipulation it became more $ then technology

Has gotten in or has gotten out? I would say people are getting their money out as the price has been crashing for months and there is no new influx of fresh funds from investors to balance it out. I think the stupid scammy ICO's have stifled the growth of investments as a lot of people got burnt by them and in turn pulled the rest of their investments out. Additionally, the Bitcoin block size debate has fragmented the market even more and weakened Bitcoin which has contributed to the falling price. I do agree that nowadays each and every new coin is pushing for quick profits and no one cares about the underlying technology any more.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 12, 2018, 08:52:32 PM
I would like to ask the Liverpool fans around here - do you think West Ham will be able to score today? The odds for over 2.5 goals are 1.45 while btts is @1.95 and Liverpool to win & btts is priced @2.40 odds. I am currently on the fence as I would like to take that sizeable 2.40 odds, but I am having doubts if the Hammers will get one past Liverpool's new star goalkeeper.

I think they can, considering Pellegrini wants his teams to play fast paced, attacking football too.  But the problem is Chicharito is on the bench, so it's less likely to happen.  And I'm not too sure about the current FW playing right now...  Arnuatovic is it?

I took the BTTS route for Liverpool - West Ham and Arsenal - Manchester City games and everything blew up on me today... I think the gap between the leading teams and the rest is steadily increasing. I don't want the Premier League to turn into another La Liga where a handful of teams dictate the top leaderboard rankings every year and there is zero competition for them. French Ligue 1 and German Bundesliga are getting kinda boring with PSG and Bayern Munich respectively claiming first place all the time.

450  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Essentials of picking an exchange & the top 11 exchanges on: August 12, 2018, 08:17:17 AM
The article is very informative and nicely laid out so props for that. I noticed that the BitPanda exchange is missing from the list though. It was the first exchange I have used and I have had only positive experience with it. It's pretty popular in the EU and has a solid reputation. They also had PayPal exchange option back in the days before PayPal cut all ties with cryptos.
451  Economy / Economics / Re: Bear trap or bull trap? on: August 12, 2018, 06:46:12 AM
I think we are going to Mars, but the bears are still figuring out the Mars landing mission details and wouldn't let the bulls pilot the spaceship until everything is fine and dandy  Cheesy Bitcoin has the great opportunity to land on Mars before Elon Musk should the bulls take over the market! Woooooooosh to Mars we go! Setting course to new ATH and Mars exploration in 2020! All on board!

452  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 11, 2018, 07:21:05 PM
Seemingly they do Cheesy Actually this made me very curious about the details of the deal and found the following about Angry Birds sponsorship on Everton's official webpage: http://www.evertonfc.com/content/fans/partners/angry-birds

Quote
Angry Birds becomes Everton’s first shirt sleeve partner
Everton will debut the Angry Birds logo on the sleeve against Manchester United at Old Trafford
The partnership opens Everton up to 80 million monthly active users of the Angry Birds game worldwide

They have been wearing this since last season and I haven't even noticed it lol  Grin
453  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 11, 2018, 06:39:14 PM
Wow, I had no idea about the crypto sponsorship. Here's the full story for anyone else interested: https://www.wolves.co.uk/news/club/20180704-wolves-unveil-coindeal-as-shirt-sleeve-sponsor/

With Wolves' equaliser and Jagielka's red card, 2-1 to Wolves seems like a good chance.

Yeah the Wolves are sponsored by CoinDeal. You can see the name stamped on the outer side of the jersey sleeves. By the way I noticed that Everton are apparently sponsored by Angry Birds as that was what they were wearing on their jersey sleeves. Made me chuckle  Grin
Fortunately my 2 bets on the game went through yay Cheesy I thought Wolves were going to win though being a player up. We got the first draw in the league, albeit an eventful one.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 11, 2018, 04:40:11 PM
I am watching the Wolves - Everton game at the moment. We have had 5 wins so far today and I am curious to see if we will get the 6th or the last match of the day will end up being a draw. I am rooting for Wolves to win because of their crypto sponsorship haha  Grin I think both teams will score and there will be over 2.5 goals. 2-1 for Wolves.
455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling- Believe in Strategy or Luck on: August 11, 2018, 07:12:31 AM
Well I haven't seen board games like chess or checkers or backgammon where players' skills play a major factor in winning consistently being offered at casinos. I don't think even the best strategist in the world could beat variance in gambling consistently in the long term. Gambling can be so addictive at times because of the possibility to win huge amounts of money without any skills or work involved and that's why so many people are attracted to it. I don't see gambling as a 2nd 'job' to excel at, I already have one. I would have more success being a professional chess player than a professional gambler  Grin
456  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long Crypto market will take to recover? on: August 11, 2018, 06:22:31 AM
I think we should see signs of recovery this winter season as the crypto market is usually in a big slump during the summer and prices start to pick up quite a lot toward the end of the year. Even if the price gains aren't as high as we would expect, I believe things will speed up a little bit next year and in 2020 we should have gained enough footing back to shoot for a new ATH hopefully after next Bitcoin halving. I guess the big investors are waiting for the price to come down more before they enter the market again.
457  Economy / Economics / Re: Study says being rich is determined by chance rather than intelligence or talent on: August 11, 2018, 05:39:31 AM
I think the recipe for success is 50% chance and 50% talent & education. You can have all the chance in the world, but if you don't have what it takes to do your job people won't hold you in high regard and you won't be able to climb the corporate ladder and negotiate a higher salary. The opposite is also true - you might be super qualified for the job, however someone else with less skills but better connections might come in and take your place. Nowadays you have to work smarter, not harder to be wealthy.
458  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 10, 2018, 07:55:56 PM
Same old, same old then. Didn’t take them long to get a dodgy penalty. By my calculations it was 75 seconds.

It was a totally legitimate penalty, mate. The Leicester player deliberately handled the ball, he had enough time to avoid it and you can clearly see how he reached with his hand for the ball. I think there's no doubt it was the right call. Leicester only have themselves to blame for that goal.
459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 10, 2018, 07:30:00 PM
Manchester United legend Paul Scholes believes that Mourinho might quit after another season full of disappointment: http://www.goal.com/en-ae/news/mourinho-could-go-as-man-utd-wont-get-close-to-city-scholes/w3iliqv5qw6ezhldole5lwce

And in other news Mourinho has been denied more money for temporary expensive signings by the upper management so apparently he has fallen from grace and couldn't get his transfers. I wouldn't be surprised if things aren't looking rosy in first half of the season and he gets fired.
460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: August 10, 2018, 05:44:22 PM
My total time spent gambling in a week is probably not more than one hour tops, because I don't play any casino or card games like poker that consume a lot of time. I just bet on sports and usually it takes like 5 minutes to check all the interesting games of the day and get my bets in. Sometimes I like to bet live while watching football or hockey games as it's way more fun to have a stake while enjoying the game. I guess people who like to play at casinos would spend lots of time there and that's why I try to avoid getting sucked in the casino craze. By the way, I don't know if you are aware, but crypto casinos that have lowered the minimum bet to 1mbtc also allow bets for 0.1 or 0.01mbtc so you can technically bet for 'pennies'.
