441  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bull market is back? on: April 21, 2019, 05:51:41 AM
We are not in any bull market right now but there IS more bullish sentiment that's for sure and more traders are coming in and speculating on altcoins to make the multipliers to become Bitcoin or Dollar Rich when we do get another bull run. I think this time the bull phase will be different to the last one, as more and more infrastructure is rolled out on the blockchain, in various sectors of society, we will see more and more capital flowing in, long before we get mass adoption. BIG Capital wants to slowly get positioned in before the Masses, and they want in cheap, with huge discounts. Then they will peddle their crypto and Bitcoin products to their rich clients, then to your Average Joe on the Street.
442  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: April 21, 2019, 05:47:45 AM
I like exchanges that have an easy to use UI interface because I am older and need less techy stuff to park my funds on, an easy to use UI is very important to me. Other very important things are cybersecurity and also a very good support system. These two are paramount for me if I want to join or use any exchange for crypto trading or trading any assets or currencies for that matter. I already lost money on three exchanges due to hackers and the monies were never returned, so exchanges likes Binance for me feel safer than smaller exchanges without any insurance.
443  Economy / Economics / Re: What should you do in bearish market? on: April 21, 2019, 05:44:57 AM
Well, in a bearish market, don't just hodle all your coins and tokens if they are on a downtrend. Don't make the same mistake I made and hodle all the way down, sell after every all-time high and then draw your FIB lines and back at the lowest entry point possible, and that, only in the projects you firmly believe are developing and producing use case scenarios for the long term. I learned the hard way and the lesson cost me almost all the money I earned in 2016/2017 through crypto jobs and some buy-in investments. I now am much more strategic and I never ever FOMO in any pump or coin now, EVER, however good it may seem. Now I will always look for good entry points to buy in any project, coin or token based.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the end of crypto? on: April 20, 2019, 02:42:55 PM
Nope don't give up, I also died in the bear market but am working very hard now to grow my bags again, this time will be selling off on the high and buying back on the next retrace. We are at the beginning of the early adoption phase still and we haven't finished yet. This is like the internet, blockchain technology is here to stay for future generations. Anyone got a stake in some good cryptos now, will be laughing a few years from now. Just don't give up, but if you like you can still diversify in other assets also, that's a pretty wise thing to do. I wouldn't give up on Crypto though, we are only just beginning to get this engine running and nearing the end of this long bearish cycle. I am trying to collect whatever I can before 2020, which I believe will be really bullish with Bitcoin halving coming.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I won't give up on: April 20, 2019, 02:36:48 PM
I will never give up, despite in 2018 and early 2019, most of my crypto wealth I had accumulated in the previous years got wiped out because of the HODL philosophy, I haven't given up and aspire to greater heights now than those reached in 2017 because now I have learned from my mistakes and can do things a lot better and be more focused and organized now. Yes, there are scammers, hackers, and thieves, trying to steal from you at every turn, but you mustn't give up. We are going through such a real transformational experience in our wo0rld economic landscape and we want to be a part of reshaping our world to be a better place for future generations. Well, that's how I see Crypto anyway, from a mother's point of view.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC requirements on BitcoinTalk Bounty Campaigns Become Worst! on: April 20, 2019, 02:18:55 PM
I know the KYC really annoys a lot of people and in some cases, quite rightly so, because many of the campaigns turn to scam or never pay us. I did some big jobs for these really huge type of coins they wanted all this, that and the other and still, after like 8-12 months, I am not getting paid lol. On the other hand, you have so many rampant thieves and cheaters doing the rounds in the bounties, it's getting so irritating for the honest bounty folks, that many companies now want KYC done so that the cheaters don't steal honest people's work. I lost a lot of jobs because some bounty thieves were using my identity and content to steal my bounties from me lol, which is a joke.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding on: April 20, 2019, 02:12:48 PM
I think you are still doing well considering. I lost 99.3% of my portfolio wealth in 2018 but one coin saved me and I was able to survive from it, that was and is ARB token, so am in a slow but steady recovery mode. Their token now is really cheap again also, so am trying to accumulate like crazy, in case we get those 100 x returns again. The thing is not to be giving up at a time when things look bad. I am still working hard in the hope that my portfolio will grow again and who knows, we might see even bigger gains in 2020. I do feel 2019 will be slightly better than 2018 and I have a feeling the worst of the bear market of this cycle is behind us. Still, we need to be vigilant and try to grow a varied portfolio which I am trying to do now.
448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADEPRO IS COMING WITH SHADOW TRADING TOP TRADERS AND BOT RUNNERS on: April 20, 2019, 02:00:54 PM
You will be able to manually trade solo, but on many exchanges, all from one console, AND be able to copy trade other traders, so your trades copy their trades. For example, you wanna go out for the day, you can pick your favorite trader after seeing their results, copy their trades and while you are out enjoying yourself, your trades will automatically follow theirs. If you like you can trade with the bots, that's also optional. Tradepro will work both for solo traders, copy / shadow traders, and bot runners, bot shadow traders. I am itching to try out their shadow trading features when live.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell bounty token at a loss? on: April 20, 2019, 09:13:35 AM
In 2018 I hardly got paid for any bounties, most were scams and another load of tokens didn't hit an exchange. I have over 100 useless tokens in my MEW that are worthless because they never bothered to pay anything after they collected money in ICO to promote and help their tokens and the investors. I hope 2019 will be a little better but am doing fewer bounties myself now, looking for more solid crypto jobs. I might do the odd video or blog review if I get time but now my signature campaign has turned to Bitcoin only to be on the safe side. Then I can buy tokens or coins I think will have good multipliers in the future for me. I am not sure now what I would do, if I did a bounty, it only cost me my time, I didn't invest, so I would check to see if the project has a chance to grow or not, then I would sell according to my due diligence.
450  Economy / Economics / Re: A Crypto Blessing: China’s Plan to Ban Bitcoin Mining Will Work Wonders on: April 20, 2019, 09:10:37 AM
Of course, the decision of the Chinese regulator was quite predictable. There may be several reasons for this, but it seems to me that 2 reasons can be considered as the main ones. 1 reason - this is the plan of the Chinese government for the expansion of the yuan in the global economy. China has long dreamed of making the yuan a world currency, and it is possible that Bitcoin will be able to prevent this. Despite the fact that the main part of miners is located in China, the bitcoin, unlike the yuan, is not affected by the Chinese regulator. And it bothers them. 2 reason - because of bitcoin, the shadow economy can grow and the withdrawal of money abroad. This is also a fairly significant factor, which can not be disturbed.

I agree many can argue that the money drain from China will be reduced but to be quite honest will it? Look at Canada for example, Vancouver has been dubbed the ERNAI CITY for Chinese to take on 2nd wives and Mistresses, in order to get their foothold in another country. It's being done on a large scale by Rich Chinese Men in general. Here also, we have many Rich Chinese getting European passports by buying luxury properties. Nothing wrong with that at all, investing in different countries, that's what rich people do, but I doubt they blocking mining in China will stem the flow of money OUT of China. Bitmain and other miners will just move to pro blockchain countries like Vietnam or Latin America where the electricity is cheap and keep mining, taking away jobs from China. What I do see though is an electronic Yuan coming and a more centralized digital currency taking a foothold in China. Blockchain is not discouraged in China, on the contrary, you got coins like TRX, TRON run by great Chinese Businessmen with a wonderful acumen for business, it's just that Bitcoin seems way too decentralized now for the Chinese Govt to be able to control. Every country, of course, needs to do what it needs to do to protect its own. I understand the philosophy behind the Govt there. Make our currency strong then we can adopt other stuff..
451  Economy / Economics / Re: How adoption will happen on: April 20, 2019, 06:44:48 AM
Well, personally I don't think there is one cut and dry answer to this. I know for a fact that technologically, blockchain is advancing in all areas, just like AI and VR. So that alone will bring the tech to everyone, even if they actually don't realize it. It will be more subtle than say the Internet is. On the other hand, cryptocurrency will be more widely used all over the World for a variety of reasons. For example. Countries like Dubai are going full throttle in supporting the Blockchain and will be the first government to run on it. They are also going to make their electronic dirham and now you can buy houses and properties in Dubai with Bitcoin as if they were hotcakes. In other countries, like emerging African States, the mobile technology will kickstart there the use of crypto, due to new infrastructure being rolled out on the mobile app level. In more developed countries, you will see legislation being rolled out to allow big capital to enter the crypto market first before they pimp it to the Masses.
452  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you need cash for everyday use? on: April 20, 2019, 06:34:24 AM
I mainly use cash and my bank card, although I only earn crypto and BTC for a living, which I get converted to fiat. I am in the process though of trying to get a crypto/bitcoin debit card, that is my next step to becoming almost cashless. So for now, yes I use a lot of cash as opposed to crypto because I need to convert my crypto first, but in the future, I want to be using a bitcoin'/crypto debit card as well. I want to be able to have more options, moving into the digital age. NICE little poll you got going and I will check out your project later in the day when time allows.  Smiley
453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you buy Cryptocurrency ? on: April 20, 2019, 06:30:13 AM
I actually am very passionate about the technology, but of course, I look at it now as my livelihood and long term investment plan as well. I am living on the Blockchain now for the last three years, and despite 2018 and early 2019 being quite catastrophic times for me, I still can't shift my love away from the Blockchain. We are on the cusp of something great, AI technology and Blockchain technology have kickstarted the SMART revolution and being the age I am, fifty-three years old, I can really appreciate the changes that are happening at a fast pace in our world, hopefully for the better. I am primarily an investor I would say but also heavily support the technology behind it, couldn't invest in it otherwise.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which alt coin will gain most value in 2017? on: April 20, 2019, 06:22:00 AM
There is one token on the list that isn't there right now and that's ARB TOKEN. It was 4.5 cents the other day and has already doubled, at ATH it was 23 bucks and that with only one utility. Now the whales are coming back in droves to stock up before their next utility launches, so I think and am betting my horses on it that this will be the next 100k x or even 1000 x token in 2019. They make arbitrage and other bots and now will unleash soon their Kraken which is Tradepro, an all in one trading console, which I believe will make the demand for the token skyrocket. Since there are like under 9 million tokens in supply, it IS A NO BRAINER to stock up while stocks at these prices last. I have slowly been lapping them up on the cheap before they suddenly hit ten bucks a pop.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: April 20, 2019, 06:11:56 AM
I only have a few BNB tokens but I love trading on Binance and it's so easy and seamless. I wish though I had bought a ton of BNB when ti was like or fifty cents or even a dollar. I would be loaded now. I only got like 5.5 BNB and guarding them for dear life. Who knows they might be worth 100 bucks in the next bull run. At least it's one project that has really taken off and has done well, even during a prolonged bear market. I might buy a few more once it retraces and keep as a 'stable coin' that grows in my retirement fund crypto portfolio. I think BNB is solid and the price will grow organically, as it grows it's business.
456  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you guys read daily crypto news? on: April 20, 2019, 06:08:52 AM
I try my best to read daily, that's if I am going to trade anything of course, otherwise, it's like every few days. It all depends on what I have set out to do for that specific day. If it's altcoin or Bitcoin-related, or both. I think if you are full time in this industry, like myself, it's imperative to keep up with the news, if not daily, at least every other day. I am always on CMC, got that open 24 hours a day and I also get things like Coindesk delivered to my email as well as watching some Youtube videos as well. I read the crypto news as much as time allows, as well as watch videos. We can't be lazy in this game.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]COSS Token Swap ICO is LIVE on: April 20, 2019, 05:56:57 AM
COSS.IO 10th April 2019 Updates

-Daily FSA goes live by the end of next week
-Guess the coin contest
-COSS FEE TOKEN (CFT) Trading goes live
-General COSS news
-Youtube contest winners
-News around the Crypto sphere

https://medium.com/@coss.io/coss-io-10th-april-2019-updates-2f26fe12ae0

I really like where COSS is heading I made the huge mistake of not selling in the last Bull run and rebuying the dip, would have had a million COSS tokens by now but I still have a small bag and will try to grow more COSS tokens before the token price goes parabolic again in the next bull run. Nice to see they are giving the FSA daily now and even if it doesn't seem much right now, the more the volume on the exchange grows and the prices of those coins/tokens increase, we could be sitting on a small goldmine in the future, a year or two from now with this little GEM.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀💥🚀🚀 DECOIN :FIRST blockchain Profit Sharing Exchange platform 🚀💥🚀 on: April 20, 2019, 05:46:57 AM

Our CEO Shay Perry in Hongkong right now

I would love to meet the DECOIN TEAM one day in some blockchain event, once I am able to travel around a bit. I hope you come to a blockchain event in Europe, maybe Cyprus or Malta sometime in the year. I am pretty excited about the launch of the Exchange on the 30th of April and have been keeping my coins to stake. I try to keep ahead of the curve in the telegram but what I like about DECOIN is they always send out emails to us for any new news, even got a HAPPY EASTER CARD in my mail yesterday which was pretty sweet. I want to also say HAPPY EASTER TO THE DECOIN TEAM AND DECOIN FAMILY! I just hope everyone doesn't dump the coin too cheaply, it could end up being like Binance coin one day a double-digit beauty!
459  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is downloading money into your PC on: April 20, 2019, 05:16:42 AM
Well every time I log onto my PC I consider it a real miracle and the biggest life-changing thing that ever happened to me was the Internet, then the 2nd greatest thing was the Blockchain. I am fifty-three years old and have seen a few technological advances in my time, but nothing as great as these two so far. Soon AI also will bring huge changes in our lives, but it's true, owning Bitcoin now is a bit like downloading money from our computer because I can sit at home or be on my mobile phone and have access to Bitcoin and other Digital Currencies. We really need to appreciate this more and more and give it the true value it deserves.
460  Economy / Trading Discussion / TRADEPRO IS COMING WITH SHADOW TRADING TOP TRADERS AND BOT RUNNERS on: April 19, 2019, 10:38:59 PM
How would you like to be able to trade on multiple exchanges at once?
How would you like to copy your favorite trader and automatically trade the same trades when he/she trades/
How would you love to run multiple bots on multiple exchanges and pairs and even follower a professional bot runner and copy his bot trades?

With just a very nominal fee per trade you will be able to set your apis for your favorite exchanges listed on the TRADEPRO CONSOLE and be able to trade blissfully and with a bigger success rate than ever before.

All the above features will be rolled out within 30 days and I am so pumped and looking forward to it.

I have executed a couple of manual trades on the TRADEPRO CONSOLE But am going in full throttle when the above goodies are finally rolled out.

Am not spamming any ref links here or anything, just want to introduce you to something that might make the 2017 bull run look like a kid's party in 2019.
More to come on this thread..
