441  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: It is 2020 time for a new diff thread. on: December 01, 2020, 11:44:46 AM
Hmm.. I wonder if it actually would at the moment make sense for me to take my low power -fw A841 to my summer cottage and use it as a heater during winter time.  Smiley

So it could be some kind of a bug.
Maybe miners have reset their own ip address ?

Maybe Wireshark software can be tried to see if there is any traffic in the local area network, that looks like the miner.

Does the firmware upgrade give any help?

(chapter 11 in my guide)
444  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Miner EU online stores on: November 24, 2020, 12:33:08 PM
I have good experience from www.bitshopper.de store.
But he only sells small scale GekkoScience and Futurebit gear.

www.cryptouniverse.at store would've been my answer as well, but I think they have scaled down or stopped their operation... Sad

That looks like the true form for industrial grade mining.

I wonder if Canaan and MicroBT will also come up with the same format.

Have you set your pc to the same subnet (eg., put ip 192.168.0.101 and mask 255.255.255.0 for your pc) ?

Also, would my old guide be any help? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2937129

448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: good place to sell my Antminer Z15? on: October 20, 2020, 05:17:12 AM
You can also use escrow service for the payment, if you want more safety when paying is done with bitcoins.

I think user OgNasty still offers his escrow service.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303281.0

A potential buyer here at the forum will be really happy if the escrow is an option.

Try this forum's Marketplace, more specifically the Computer hardware -area.

452  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: microbtwhatsminerd1.com Scam? on: October 04, 2020, 08:52:39 AM

453  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: My S9 Heater version on: September 24, 2020, 05:31:44 PM
^ Guys, I think you mean Power Line Communication,
not PoE ?

PoE is for powering devices with 48VDC power supply via an ethernet cable (Data+Power).

They say that their breakout board X15 should work for the DPS-495AB A psu, but it is not tested.

455  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 1066 pro hardware issue on: September 16, 2020, 09:32:14 PM
Thats why my recommendation was to take it to a professional soldering guy.

It should not cost too much
456  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 1066 pro hardware issue on: September 16, 2020, 09:50:25 AM
Ok, then I think it would be optimal if you find an Indian guy who does soldering repairs
457  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Avalon 1066 pro hardware issue on: September 15, 2020, 09:09:33 PM
@Bluffking, If it is not under warranty: You can try to contact user lightfoot here at the forum. He has the right equipment to do such pcb connection repairs, for reasonable cost.

If it is under warranty: Please contact Canaan.

@elfarto69

Can you try it with another MM board?
(Eg. from a working condition A841)

This would be to see if the MM board is faulty.
459  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Node size (7nm, 5nm, etc) is now pointless on: August 18, 2020, 05:52:37 PM
It's quite impressing what Canaan has been able to reach with 16nm tech and their A1166 Pro miner.
460  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: S17 APW9+ FAN problem on: August 07, 2020, 07:21:33 PM
Did you measure the voltage in the fan connector in the psu? What was the result?

Maybe the problem is not in the fan, but in the psu circuit.
