441  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your New Year's resolution? on: December 31, 2023, 03:29:51 PM
It seems like there was another thread a while ago about new year resolutions.

I checked before I made this thread, but I didn't see any.

Would you be kind enough to point that thread you are talking about, so I could lock this thread since it will become a duplicate thread.
442  Economy / Gambling discussion / What is your New Year's resolution? on: December 31, 2023, 02:42:49 PM
Gambling has been a part of our lives if you are an active gambler, and as this year is about to end, I would like to know your New Year's resolution.

Please share it with us here, and please don't make your new years resolution like you will not gamble again, that's against the rule of a gambler.

Also, I like to greet you all, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Inoue vs Casimero (possible fight in 2024) Let's discuss! on: December 31, 2023, 01:54:29 PM
This fight is only possible, if Casimero is going to sign with MP Promotion again. As stated in the article, MP promotion through SEAN Gibbons are willing to help Casimero to get a fight with Inoue. And according to the camp if Inoue, Champ's fight was already line up, and will start with Nery (as mandatory challenger) and Murodjon Akhmadaliev, Casimero is currently last in the list, but anything can happen as long as the negotiation is would result to in agreement of both parties.

444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Must you lose before you gain in Bitcoin investment? on: December 30, 2023, 09:50:12 PM
Losing is not a requirement for future gains. If you lose, that's because you lack the knowledge that is crucial in your bitcoin investment, and not because you lose first before you gain. What you put in your investment is what you reap later on. So if you invest without understanding your investment from the very beginning, then its possible that you will gain more losses than profits. Profits determines your success, and you won't be successful without knowing your investment well.
445  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 30, 2023, 11:43:16 AM
For some reason Fans just want the Los Angeles Lakers to be good again, and after winning the In-Season Tournament this year, they want the Lakers to continue their winning and go into the Finals again for sure, just like what they did last season, but they will need to trade certain key players for this to happen, well fans just wants the best for the Los Angeles Lakers but getting LeBron James out of the Lakers is really impossible as James now is still profitable for their business and for the team while LeBron James is still playing like his old self so it is a real big win for the Los Angeles Lakers,

D'Angelo Russell might be traded or  with (+ player). I think he isn't the same anymore, at least his impact aren't that great with the LA Lakers, Reaves was even more impactful than him, so if there's a possible trade that could allow D'Angelo Russell to be out with the Lakers, I think that will happen.

Probably this is the reason while Russell contribution has drop significantly as he hears trade rumor surrounding his name. He has a impact when the Lakers win the IST tournament but we all know that after that they struggled.
I don't think so, even last season, his contribution is still the same, and he struggle during the playoffs, that's why Reaves had stepped up, instead of him who is one of the most high paid players in the team. I think he is not really fit with the Lakers, for the 2nd time around.

Dejounte Murray on the other hand, his stats are quite consistent, but we are still not seeing a big impact to the Atlanta Hawks. I think Hawks are better with Trae Young being the alpha and the rest are just role players. Actually, I believe they were better before Dejounte Murray arrrived.

Trae Young has been surrounded with good role players, but all of them has somewhat wanted more minutes and so they are not traded. Murray on the other hand might not be a perfect fit as he also wanted to score more and not just a side kick to Trae Young, as that what is role with the Spurs before.

Of course, he is a good scorer but it's always the chemistry of the team that really matters, and I don't see that chemistry with them which we can't deny as the Hawks are below .500 now with only 12 wins and 19 losses.

447  Economy / Economics / Re: How to gain money on: December 27, 2023, 08:19:10 PM
I have no idea what op was thinking when he created this thread to be honest. He wants to know how to earn money without trading involved from a cryptocurrency forum where trading is the primary skill of most members. Odd!

Anyway, writing quality posts is a great way to earn money from this forum and it's an extremely useful skill for various reasons. This satisfies his criteria.

Would you consider buying Bitcoin and forgetting for 2-3 years as trading or investment? If you don't actively trade it and buy one time for the long term to invest, is it still trading? If not, then it's a great way to make money. Buy as much as you can during the bear season and sell at the top a few years later. I think it fits OP's criteria.
Long term investing is certainly a great way to make money. While trading can be more profitable than investing alone, but since OP excluded trading, then let's just focus on investing alone. However, if you are not knowledgeable and don't even know the coins you are hodling, you are not investing to make money, but you are only putting yourself into losses. Investing is risky, but if you know how to manage it, you can invest at your own advantage.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Too Expensive For Me. on: December 27, 2023, 07:44:16 PM
The value of Bitcoin has gradually reached great heights. It has become impossible for a new small investor like me to invest in Bitcoin. I am a very small investor. $2k wealth is mine. Well does Bitcoin provide any opportunity in future that I can invest.
It's a good thing actually that bitcoin has totally increases its price and now we're seeing it's new peak price. If you were here when bitcoin price is still cheap, you can invest even the whole portion of it but since the price is quite expensive right now, then you can invest even a fraction of it. Your bitcoin investment will eventually grow in the future and makes a whole bitcoin if you do DCA consistently. So patience and consistency on your DCA method is the key.
449  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: December 27, 2023, 01:46:00 PM
Now , I think it's time to stop betting on NBA for a while and I should just go back to watch instead of betting.  Grin

I've made the same realization as you in the past but I still coming back in gambling.

Think that you are destine to be a gambler, and you'll stay here. Losing streak is normal, you just gotta learn from it and everything will be good. Now, let's stop with the drama and continue what we love to do. Tomorrow, we have few games on the board and these are my personal picks.

1-Suns -2 ( Nurkic might be back as his status is "probable", and rockets are on a back to back game)
2- Bucks vs Brooklyn (over 240.5)
450  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 27, 2023, 01:06:21 PM
Meanwhile, the Pistons, the main underdogs of this regular season, lost once again, and their losing streak reached 27 games. Ironically, their next game will be against the Celtics, and it's obvious that the Pistons will have no chance to win that game. Thus, we can already say that the Pistons will repeat the 76ers' record and most likely even surpass it.

Be careful with that one. Worst team vs  Best team, everyone will be on the best team and that's where we will not see that upset is bound to happen. LOL.. Just my theory though, but if I would have to bet, I would stay away from that game, not even gonna watch it as there are more interesting games to watch during that same day schedule.
451  Economy / Economics / Re: Setting up financial structures before going into the family way on: December 26, 2023, 11:41:45 PM
This factor is very necessary before entering marriage. You would not want to marry a person or be with a person who has no plans on both of you, and who has no plans on achieving financial stability. Hence, setting up financial structures at its utmost importance so that the marriage will be sustainable and will be able to provide the needs and wants of the children in the future. Not literally that you should be financially stable before getting into marriage, but at least you have stable job that can sustain and make the marriage works  for lifetime.
452  Economy / Economics / Re: Pay discrimination on: December 26, 2023, 10:19:13 PM
I think the type of government is the one to be blame. When it should be making laws for equality for white and blue collars,  so that there will be no discrimination that is going to happen. Equality when it comes to respect and appreciation, and not on the amount of wages because for obvious reason, college graduates have always gained advantage from undergraduate due to higher educational achievement.  But still the government should still impose minimum amount of wages for these blue collar workers that would pay for their skills they applied In their respective jobs.
453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When (if Tenable) is The Right Time to Share Your Bitcoin Private Keys? on: December 26, 2023, 07:56:58 PM
I am currently working hard to be successful with my bitcoin investment so that I can have something to relay to my children in the future.  So that if anything happens to me, it won't be hard to leave them for good because I have already secured their future. So as early as now, I will be educating them about bitcoin and how it works, and most likely share my private keys as well when they reach their mature age to understand the different conditions with bitcoin.

Although I have also my spouse, my better half, but I can see that my children are more inclined on technology which comes to my senses that they're perfect with bitcoin. Luckily, my spouse is just always there to support me whatever my decision is.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 26, 2023, 03:29:54 PM
But it is what it is, so history has been made today by Inoue. Let's see if Inoue is true to his words that he wanted to remain in this division and clean it up.

Names like Luis Nery, Akhmadaliev or even John Riel Casimero is potential opponent for him.

Maybe Akhmadaliev and Casimero had a better chance of fighting Inoue since the latter loves to fight in his own country, especially now that he is the champion. AFIAK, Luis Nery is banned in Japan, so for the fight to happen, it should be outside Japan, which is unlikely to happen.
455  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is merit necessary for my survival here on: December 25, 2023, 10:08:53 PM
I would say it's necessary but it's never compulsory. It's necessary because you will never become a reliable forum member if you don't get out from your comfort zone, I mean by unlocking your own potentials, you will become a reputable member in the forum. However, it's still your own choice and preference if you will not try earning merits because your purpose is not to join the discussion but will only learn from the discussion in the forum.

Merits is easily earned when you are deserving. But not posting in the forum with quality posts is clearly a non merit earner.
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin create an opportunity to reduce poverty? on: December 25, 2023, 09:27:19 PM
Bitcoin is a life changer and only those who have been successful with bitcoin can only attest to that. So I really believe that bitcoin can offer opportunities that will reduce our poverty, that is if you are knowledgeable enough to use bitcoin in the proper way. Because if we blindly use bitcoin and see it as a get rich quick, that will never give us profitable results but will only lead us into series of losses.

However, if you have the risk management with bitcoin, and you're more persistent and patient yo achieve your bitcoin goal, then it will be easier for you to reduce poverty and create positive changes in your life later on.

457  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In The Span Of six months what will make you trust a new casino on: December 25, 2023, 03:12:26 PM
Since we are in this forum, I'll choose "No complain or scam accusation".

When we trust a gambling site, it always based on their reputation, if they don't have a scam accusation after 6 months of operation, that could only mean that they are an honest casino in providing their service.
458  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin is highly uncertain on: December 25, 2023, 02:43:42 PM
It's just a prediction, it's up to you if you'll believe it or not.

Bitcoin when it was still almost worthless was predicted to reach at $1000 a piece, some people doubt and look where they are now, they are just envy on those who were able to hold and acculate bitcoin that time, which at the current time are already living the life they dream of.

So to say that bitcoin will not replace traditional money in the future, maybe unlikely but it's not impossible.
459  Economy / Gambling / Re: Greetings from Bets.io on: December 25, 2023, 02:04:02 PM
I already made an account on your site. I have a little question. When I browsed the Promotions page, I did not see a scroll button and had difficulty seeing the bottom.
I use Opera browser but when I change to Chrome browser, I see the scroll button.

Is it just me facing this issue, or do others have the same problem?

I'm not using opera browser anymore, I think this browser is not anymore popular, and it doesn't give you a good experience in exploring a gambling site. Just stick with google chrome mate, or maybe brave browser, these are the only two browsers I'm using in accessing a gambling site and everytihng are just fine.
460  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You only got what you deserve on: December 24, 2023, 09:42:14 PM
What a man does, that's what he gets. He reaps what he sow. So if he sticks into bitcoin and hold for indefinite years, he will gain massive profits in the future. But if he chooses altcoins over bitcoin, he might lose and eventually all his funds will be lost. That's more likely the cause and effect of every action taken or done.

We are the ones making our future. That is the reason why we should always do things in timing and definitely with caution.
