4421  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: government and bitcoins banning on: September 21, 2017, 04:32:35 PM
already china has banned bitcoins is there any chance that other countries may ban bitcoins?Huh
When did China ban Bitcoin?? Wan't it just exchange ban??

in the FUD they banned bitcoin, and those who are shorting bitcoin are pushing for the fake news today again.
in reality they have just closed exchanges (not banned) and banned ICOs (which has nothing to do with bitcoin since nobody even buys into ICO with bitcoin) and they also never talked about banning bitcoin so far.
4422  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin without China on: September 21, 2017, 04:25:44 PM
bitcoin without China will remain bitcoin as it was bitcoin before Smiley

China has never been controlling bitcoin despite what the FUD wants to force on people but the sad part is that sometimes truth does't matter but instead what people believe in matters.
sometimes it is even hard to change false beliefs. if you tell them the earth is round they will hang you for blasphemy!

that is why there is a panic sell each time there is negative Chinese news and that is exactly why it never lasts long and price always recovers even without Chinese.

I will wait to share your optimism until we are making new all-time highs. Until then, I'm not sure I can agree that price has recovered.

I'd say the ICO and exchange ban aren't major issues in the long term. But if they follow through on the rumors about banning mining activities and the network itself, that would be far more detrimental. China provides a majority of the hash rate and is the biggest player in chip fabrication. It would certainly throw a wrench into the ecosystem.

worst thing that can happen in case China banned mining is a drop in hashrate! and that means some delays in finding of blocks until the difficulty adjustment time in two weeks tops. and by that time everything will be back to normal again!

of course the FUD will be present at all times but bitcoin will continue on. and remember the big %%% of hashrate comes from "pools". miners from those pools may very well continue mining but on a different pool. in other words some relocation will be in order.
4423  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Low Trade Volume on: September 21, 2017, 03:06:12 PM
decrease in trading volume can mean a number of things. but what i mostly experience is that whenever prices of bitcoin or other altcoins are stable and with little action the daily volume also drops. that just shows that fewer trades have been made and that is only logical since smaller price movements means no opportunity to trade and make any profit.
4424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can the money go after China banbed its Bitcoin exchanges? on: September 21, 2017, 02:36:42 PM
obviously many will sell as they have been selling (dumping) already. that is why bitcoin price is about $1000 cheaper in CNY equivalent than it is in USD. and they cash out their fiat. but there are others who will still cash out bitcoin and keep it as their long term investment or for whatever reason (it may even be to use bitcoin as a middle finger to the man).

but also lets not forget last time Chinese closed their exchanges the volume coming from localbitcoins and other places went to the moon and the price of bitcoin off the market was so high in CNY!
4425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you OK with Bitcoin being called a token? on: September 21, 2017, 02:24:21 PM
sometimes these articles are written by people who are not at all familiar with bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general. sometimes it is a deliberate mistake, or even possibly they call it "token" because they don't want bitcoin to be a coin or a currency.

in the end it doesn't matter as long as it doesn't catch on! which i don't see it catch on so far. so we are good.
4426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beaware North Korean Hackers are targeting exchanges! on: September 21, 2017, 02:09:10 PM
there is nothing more than usual for us to be aware of. it is all the same old risks of exchanges getting hacked or running away with our money in their hands and it has happened so many times that it is starting to become an annual thing when one of them allegedly gets hacked and someone (probably even the owner) pockets a large sum of money.

that is the price we have to pay for using these centralized and crappy cryptocurrency exchanges and i believe almost every trader knows and accepts these risks.
4427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as salary for a regular job? on: September 21, 2017, 02:03:42 PM
Would you accept bitcoin as your salary in your profession, especially if you work in other country?

For me yes I will accept bitcoin because we can exchange it in our local currency.

Maybe in the future if I have already a regular job then I will be glad to accept bitcoins as a salary for my regular job. But then for a one condition first. Bitcoins that I'll be receiving as for salary should also be equivalent in amount to the real time value in the market. For example if my salary in the future will be 15,000.00 per month then I should also be paid in bitcoin with 15,000.00 per month with just the same value. In that way, it will just be a fair or balance way of earning money.

whenever you get paid, you get paid on the market value of bitcoin. it doesn't matter when it is and from whom you are receiving the payment you can also write a contract with them to receive on a set price or amount or even set a reference place to finding the price like the price that bitcoinaverage.com gives.
4428  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BITCOIN CRAZY on: September 20, 2017, 04:06:12 PM
Do you believe that much will be surprising at bitcoin's price when it reaches 3k usd per bitcoin. I think so many panic selling that the bag holders have. and there's panic buying that happens because bitcoin is cheap when incidentally.

who suggest nyo guys the fate of bitcoin and bitcoin cash.

now that it is over you can clearly see what happens when your scenario is happening!

whenever there is a panic sell and the weak hands are being kicked out of the market, the price can only go low to a certain level. it won't continue going down forever. there is always a bottom. this time it was obviously at $3000. if you try to push it lower than that you will fail miserably because there is naturally a huge resistance at that point.

so it is best to go with the flow. buy at and around $3000 instead of waiting around and asking others what may happen. you miss the chance like you have already missed here. you lost $1100+ profit per coin.
4429  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Secrets? on: September 20, 2017, 03:53:44 PM
i think its not a secret but its like a strategies for each traders because if we are share our strategies, I think that strategies will not work properly for other people. one strategies is made by one traders and only work for that traders. if the other traders want to use, then they need to modify the strategies so it will works good for them. I think if we can understand the basic of trading which is buying low and sell high, then we can make the modification for the strategies so we can have one new strategies that only work for us.
It is simply not all well experienced traders are sharing their very best stratedgies and even if they share some of the ideas not all will get it and do it correctly. I am saying that we are not in capable in every stratedgy because we are different the way we thinks and process in mind what we see , heard and read. The actions will not be the same as others.

sometimes "best strategies" are those which you learn on your own when you actually get your hands dirty!

if you stay away and just watch and expect others to take your hand and walk you through the process and make money for you, you will stay there watching your whole life.

start trading with small amounts, try to ANALYZE the market and i promise that the market will reveal its secrets to you herself. secrets that can't be put to words.
4430  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PSA: Don't buy "Cold Storage" wallets off eBay on: September 20, 2017, 03:33:14 PM
If the cold storage devices may have been tempered if sold on Ebay, then how can we know if any other didn't the same, or the manufacturer, or a rogue employer of the manufacturer?

there is a big difference between something you buy from a reputable company that has been around for years and is planning on staying around and continuing to sell its product for years to come AND a random guy on eBay that is selling something weird and puts the name "cold storage" on it.

there is also a big difference between different types of cold storage. something that is printed on a paper unencrypted, or created by someone else is not as secure is when you generate it yourself offline using a trustable source like bitaddress and then encrypt it with a strong password and then give it to the third party to print/etch/... on some material.
4431  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: freebitco.in "Browser Mining" - is it worth it? on: September 20, 2017, 03:18:36 PM
did they already stop doing this? or is it special for certain users only?
i just checked the website and there is no "mining" option on top:

...
What hardware were you mining on?
I just did the maths on my old i5-3750K.

Set at 20% in the background for the last 4 hours averaged 20.85 sat/hr based on 10c KW/hr electricity and $4000 BTC.
I measured an 8.5w increase in CPU power so that's $0.00085 to make $0.000834 of BTC. So just about break-even at the moment, could be worth it if BTC goes up or they increase the rewards like they say.
it still doesn't seem to be worth it to be honest!
and i feel like they are getting shady a little. first with all the lotteries and rewards and then with the profit on your deposit then calling themselves a "wallet" and now this!
4432  Economy / Economics / Re: plan for the future with bitcoin on: September 20, 2017, 03:09:54 PM
there is a suggestion that you always hear: Diversify

and that is what you should do. but at the same time you should learn what it really means first. diversification is not just having multiple investments for no reason just to have many.
instead diversification means hand picking a couple of good investments with a good future and invest in those. bitcoin can be one of them. this way you will "plan for the future with bitcoin" not any other way.

4434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Better Without China!!!!!!! on: September 20, 2017, 02:53:57 PM
the day that Chinese actually go away i say good riddance but i am afraid that day may never come because China has nothing against bitcoin and they don't plan on banning it so far. and that means nobody is going anywhere even if they wanted to.

additionally, you can not prevent people from investing in bitcoin and using it. they will continue to do so whether the government wants it or not. bitcoin is decentralized and somewhat anonymous for a reason.
4435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: would you live in a country that use bitcoin as official currency? on: September 20, 2017, 02:48:37 PM
no, because i believe that is against bitcoin's true nature to be as official currency of a country. and such country should be first crazy and second have a pretty bad local currency themselves to want to get rid of it and adopt bitcoin in its stead.

sometimes some ideas sound good in your head but in reality they are worst that you think!
4436  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Who's Buying/Selling on: September 18, 2017, 03:55:51 PM
ok thanks. no professional market makers manipulating the markets?

well, manipulation is everywhere. in any market. even the biggest ones in the whole world. and bitcoin is no exception. it is even smaller in comparison which makes it easier to manipulate.

like the recent events with all the media drama regarding bitcoin and China and afterwards what JP Morgan CEO said about bitcoin.
4437  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin successfully defeated China on: September 18, 2017, 03:34:28 PM
if some day a country bans bitcoin for real they are just isolating themselves from the world and from the revolution. the rest of the world will be laughing at them at some point in the near future for the dumb attitude towards bitcoin.

when the 2020 Olympics starts in Japan, a country that has adopted bitcoin and many shops are already accepting bitcoin -tax free- that will bring a lot of publicity to bitcoin and make a lot of money for their country. they will just grow economically by a simple change.

who cares if a random country bans bitcoin! people are still going to use bitcoin globally. that's the decentralized beauty.
4438  Economy / Speculation / Re: Welcome back $4xxx bitcoin! on: September 18, 2017, 03:18:38 PM
BTC/USD
We expected Bitcoin to pullback ....
.... 50 percent Fibonacci retracement level of the fall ...

if these type of analysis worked then everyone in the world would have learned them and became rich.
if these types of analysis worked on bitcoin then we would have had multi millionaires in less than 6 months around here.

Seems to be working right now, no?

Nothing is ever 100% right - due diligence, research on currently economic climate and various other factors play a KEY part but writing off technical analysis on basis of your theory that 'everyone in the world would have learned them and became rich' is ridiculous. Might as well say everyone who learns politics will become President.

i am not writing off technical analysis. in fact i believe that is a very helpful tool but it is just a tool. which means to make an analysis and say with confidence that it will come to pass is foolish specially in bitcoin that  a news like banning "ICOs" which doesn't even remotely relate to bitcoin can cause a dip.
4439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Someone is definitely manipulating the market (In regards to China) on: September 18, 2017, 03:04:16 PM
a more appropriate question would be:
When will people stop listening to FUD and the obvious manipulation and start using their own heads?

each time we clearly see these people wanting to take advantage. I don't know how Wall Street Journal comes in here but we saw how JPM benefited from the dip. and we have been seeing this for years. and still people fall for it!
