4521  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: March 21, 2016, 06:00:43 AM
I don't buy bitcoins, I'm just getting bitcoins from faucets and from trading , and now I learned that I can also earn bitcoin here from signature campaigns
Yes, it is right that you can also collect bitcoins by earning them online but if you want a great benefit with the price increase after halving then I will suggest to boost up your earning as faster as you can or simply buy it.
4522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: March 21, 2016, 05:55:19 AM
Bitcoin is being used for illegal activity of course, Like any currency in the world and criminals use any currency to try and get some profit from it. it's just the fault of those using it and not the currency itself.
Yes, we do not have to blame any currency, they are not created for the criminal to do their crimes but for the convenience of people, but are taken by criminals and started to benefit from it.
4523  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you wish you could buy with btc ? on: March 21, 2016, 05:47:08 AM
i hope that i can buy a new gaming computer, a smartphone and lot of any other thing like food and household things
well, maybe BTC will help me to pay some of bills though

You would be able to buy all things for sure in future, let give some time to bitcoin to reach its potential and then we would be able to buy almost anything.

Yes the bitcoin itself has a really great future so its true that someday in the future everything can be bought with the bitcoin.
You already now see stores that are accepting it because they know the bitcoin will be very big globally on day.
even bitcoin have really great future, im not seeing any offline store accepting bitcoin though, but lot of online shop do
except using the debit bitcoin card on offline store who had mastercard logo on the payment
I think bitcoin is a currency invented for online use of international transactions while for local offline use we can use our local currency without any problem and delay. So, why to demand for it even in local areas.
4524  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term OIL on: March 20, 2016, 07:27:08 PM
Besides, the article headline is Warren Buffett's $1 billion bet on oil (i.e. price of oil going up or down), surely not Warren Buffett's $1 billion bet on oil industry (i.e. success or failure of the oil industry) as you pretend it to look. These are not the same, are they?

So who is actually drawing wrong conclusion and inspiring deliberate confusion?
As you say it is a bit complicated but I can say that if price of oil decreases from a value i.e cost of extraction then we have a bankrupted industry and if it rises from a value then rivals of oil can overcome and I think both of oil and oil industry have the same fate.

Now over the past few days the price of oil has increased to a small extent. If this increase continues surely industry will boom high and the east Asian countries will be the most beneficiaries.
But before achieving a high price for oil, I think the Arab countries will not have remain their oil wells with an oil as they have increased their output too much. They have to keep a limit on their outputs for the sake of future.
4525  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: March 20, 2016, 07:11:06 PM
I think going back to the past is just a science fiction kind of story. If you want to be rich, save your money or invest it to businesses. And there are some people also believe that by giving charity to the needy will make them even "richer". We never know what we will get in return by giving and sharing and becoming a member of the community.
Yes, now we have to forget about these ideas which are possible only in stories, it is now the time of reality. We have to work hard and have to reinvest all our earnings so as to become rich.
4526  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin always be dependent on fiat? Is it? on: March 20, 2016, 07:00:55 PM
I think not, btc are still new for people. Maybe in future it will be independent but now we have what we have. But it's also not so bad, eveything dependent on smth

Yes it is still in maturity stage where it will be known all over the world even the people who aren't educated much will know that there is a currency like this that exist online. Maybe that way they will pursue an education in how to use a computer.
Yes, in this time it requires to be flourish more and to get more awareness among the people after that there may be some chances appear that it will become independent of fiat. I think it will take about more than 20 years.
4527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A teen is given $1K to invest into Bitcoin - what would you recommend for them? on: March 20, 2016, 06:04:27 PM
Well, I believe the best and safest way is just by holding it and wait til the price increase, because the teen wouldn't lose anything and the price would definitely increase...
If the teenager is new to bitcoin and do not know that how and where to invest it then definitely he/she have to hold them as for them it is the only way of investment and to increase it.
It is true that he/she have to hold their bitcoin but at the same time they have to give some time to learn about the price strategy of bitcoin and its trading, so that in time when there is insecurity of price drop they will secure their money.
4528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM on: March 20, 2016, 05:55:14 PM
There is not a single ATM in my whole country, not even in a single city so it is impossible to use it here  Huh
They are distributed/created on the selected areas according to the number of people interested and adopted it, in an area if the use of bitcoin increase then there will it created I think.
4529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin trusted to put your real money on: March 19, 2016, 07:20:13 PM
Yes, it is trusted to put your money in bitcoin but the price is untrusted, currently it is increasing and will increase the whole year , but after halving everyone will sell their bitcoin which will drop its price, so be alert, when the time of selling comes.
Yes, it is true that the price is now increasing and at the time of halving it will touch the moon, but it is not sure that after halving the price will go down as there are a lot of other uses of it so people will keep them.
4530  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: March 19, 2016, 07:12:35 PM
I don't think services, mining, signature campaigns and trading are stable incomes. For example 1 month noone will buy your services, the alt coin prices may crash to the ground, the signature campaigns may close shop and the trading may lead to a loss. Stable income is when you receive a fixed pay every month by an employer.

If you offer services and you have a good feedback to other who have tries your services then you will surely get a monthly income.
It really depends on how good you do your job,if you are sloppy then you wont get any monthly income.
It hard to have that of course. But you need to make an good investment and also have to work hard. That is important.
Otherwise it is not possible. But that also depends on the value that Bitcoin have and you never know that what it will be in the future.

Even if the price of bitcoin skyrockets we cannot afford to rely only on bitcoins, as we know that higher price is not permanent and it can fall back down in future.
But I think now is the time of bitcoin and hope that bitcoin will never destroy and will at least to to stability, so it is not a risk to adopt bitcoin to rely on it for our earning a living . The price will definitely increase more in the coming future.

You are right the lucky future for bitcoin is not long away, it will take only a few years to establish all over the world, as it is invented as a worldwide currency for worldwide use.
4532  Economy / Lending / Re: need bitcoin loan on: March 19, 2016, 06:26:57 PM
If you have a valid collateral you would find a loan easily.

Read this post about valid collateral: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.msg6311902#msg6311902
Yes, we must need a valid collateral, because there is a rule of no collateral no loan. But, fortunately OP is a full member in this forum and I guess he can put his own account also as a collateral.
4533  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: March 19, 2016, 04:32:28 PM
Probably buying the most I can and earning as much as I can too, Then hold it and wait for a price increase, This plan depends on the price moving favorably though..
A more perfect answer, this can be done by any intelligent person, after being rich one have to do that two things(buying again more bitcoins and holding it to another possible long terms) to keep on living luxuriously.
And you missed charity in that, after getting much richer that you can buy anything you want and can still invest more then you are in a situation that needy people and orphans need you and your charity.
4534  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: March 18, 2016, 02:39:04 PM
I think trading is less like gambling because there is a lot more strategy and potential for knowledge to actually be applied in the stock market, as opposed to gambling which is typically based on random chance.

strategies, knowledge,... are really hard things to archive, and use, especially in trading. many people just jump in trading without them and it's like gambling.
I will also like to say it as gambling with their money if a person involve there without these both, but it is only verbal, in actual these both are two different things, having different rules for doing.
4535  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where do you see bitcoin in 10 years on: March 18, 2016, 02:08:53 PM
In 10 years, most probably bitcoin would be in its almost perfect form, with fast transaction and maintaining its anonymity and decentralization...that would attract more and more investors to adopt it..

I believe that the devs are putting their strength to fix all know issue about bitcoin and if they can do that then no doubt that bitcoin will be perfect and will be used all around the world, lets just hope that the government wont do drastic measure about it.
Yes there are a large number of investors and supporter to bitcoin even in this early stages, so after 10 years it will have a huge community to love it and support it. And the developers will have solved all the relating issues to it.
4536  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: March 18, 2016, 09:22:29 AM
holding bitcoins, but is anyone holding on another other coins like ether or factom? the real question is for how long?

when everyone screams Sell, it's a great time to buy. So buy and hold the bitcoins for somelong.

buy bitcoins and put it into coldstorage and stay away from gambling , hyip or any investment , it will be worth for next years
Yes indeed. It has now indeed a good time to invest. Because you can make some more money later if you now buy it at a low price.
So that will be good. But that is also risky because you can also lose some money if the value will be going down.

It's very simple. You don't lose anything if you don't sell. If you sell in panic, then yes, you'll constantly lose money.

Better yet just hold it as much as possible and dont let your guard down when theres news about the price decrease.
Yes if the price is decrease then it does not mean that you have to sell your bitcoin but at that stage a time comes when everyone has to buy bitcoin more. As the era of bitcoin is not far away when the price will touch the moon.
4537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: March 18, 2016, 08:25:54 AM
As of now i dont earn in gambling unlike before now its hard to win in any gambling site. Martingale also not working any more and i think it depends in our luck if we can make a profit or not..

Gambling always depend in the luck and not guaranteed to earn from there anyway, very risky method and even the gambling sites are ready to make the gamblers losers in the most cases. I advice you stay away from gambling.

Funny how people think there is a strategy in those house edge related games like dice and slots.

Every bets are under their fair betting system so no strategy can applied here. Only pure luck.
I do not like games like that as there you can earn only with the choice of machine otherwise no luck and skills works there, I like sports most as there winning require knowledge to earn there.
4538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling loses and wins on: March 18, 2016, 07:24:04 AM
Reason why I gamble is I want to be entertained and kill time. If I will check my loses and winnings every day that's not entertaining anymore but it will add more stress and worries since I'll be worried that I'm losing my money. Just play, if you lose, so be it.

I know what you mean. I also go gambling for fun and killing time, because i always feel bored at home not do anything. so i go gambling for killing time. and also gambling make me lose and wins.

Is there any good reason why people gambling for fun? What did you get from gambling just for fun? It doesnt make sense when you said that you spend money just to be entertained by gambling. People gambling of course to make some fortune so they can be happy but not losing
Yes, you are true there are a lot of other ways available also but why people spend their time and money to gamble? They have to play other free games which also bring a lot of entertainment.
4539  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 5000$ soon on: March 18, 2016, 06:42:50 AM
I consider this as not possible for sure, its just not reachable any time soon for sure, its too much for the bitcoin,
Maybe its possible in a few years but not before that, no doubts about that.
i think that it is highly possible if the halving event and the block size increase will happen soon enough, i hope this will surely happen as it would make me some money

besides these two events i dont know why the price should grow that much though anything can happen when it comes to bitcoin price
I also think that these two factors will increase the price more and more until reach to $5000, with that we can have that much bitcoin. We don’t have to lose any hope about the increase in price.
4540  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: March 18, 2016, 05:57:25 AM
Yes i think the price of bitcoin is really matter. If the price of bitcoin is so cheap many people will not use bitcoin and if the price of bitcoin so expensive, many people will use it.

people will use bitcoin whether the price is low or high. it's a currency and an investment tool in one. just look at the early days when bitcoin was only worth around $1 per coin. there is no real difference with how the market and the people were using bitcoin back then and today. the only difference is that the price right now is much higher than when it was worth a few bucks.
You are true, for those people who are using bitcoin as a normal currency for their normal use and not store them then price does not matter, they adopt bitcoin only because of their other features and because of it's demand in day-today business.
