I bought a bunch of Series 1 & 2 casascius coins from Mike Caldwell more than a year ago. And I'm interested in selling some of them for bitcoins.

Nice. How much did it cost to grade one? I wonder if I can get PCGS or NGC to grade a casascius coin.

Casascius, I think this is a very interesting idea. I've always thought of Litecoin as a complimentary coin to Bitcoin and I am definitely interested in making a change to Litecoin that is beneficial to Bitcoin.

There are a few things that need to be worked out though.

1) Does this means that each Litecoin client/miner has to be both on the Bitcoin network and the Litecoin network in order for it to verify blocks or create blocks with the latest bitcoin block hash? Or maybe only the miners have to be on the Bitcoin block chain?

2) How do we handle forks? What if the Litecoin blocks have a eventually losing fork in the block chain? How do we then switch to the winning chain?

That's wrong. USD's performance measure against itself is 0% gain. 100 times 0% is still 0%. So as long as bitcoin price goes up, it outperforms USD by greater than 100x.

The design looks good! I think you just need to make a 1 LTC coin and a 10 LTC silver coin. Count me in for some!

Don't forget that mining litecoin with GPUs is about 1000x different in speed. So 4.7 ghash/s network hashrate of Litecoin is about equivalent to 4.7 thash/s network hashrate of Bitcoin. It's still much smaller, but not as small as the numbers make it seem like.

Where did I say Litecoin is invulnerable to attacks? If huge botnet that uses CPU and GPU can successfully attack Litecoin. But botnet operators likely just want to make money, so as like Bitcoin, they will just add to the hashrate and help secure Litecoin.
