462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Send money on Blockchain without fee? on: February 22, 2015, 01:25:57 PM
Last time I sent one, took 2 weeks to confirm. So not worth the time.
may i ask why you'd want to skip a 5 cent fee ? Tongue

I've always been curious if the Coinbase online wallet sends bitcoins without a fee or just pays it for you (since you generally don't have to pay a fee at Coinbase). Anyone in the know?
i've never used the coinbase wallet ,  but im guessing their paying a low fee and that the times to send is long.
463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: February 22, 2015, 01:24:52 PM
I allways want to have my trading funds in bitcoin, so i only sell when im really sure the price is overhyped,
still didnt sell since last rebuy, and probably wont sell under 290 in following month. Maybe im bagholding, but it sure is better to baghold than to miss the boat,
and that will happen , sooner or later.
honsetly , i think this is gonna go to 1k again , so i'd reccomend holding

Do you remember why bitcoin hit 1k? I don't think the same situation could be recreated.
it hit 1k because of the pumps , people are panicing cause bitcoin is " down " but it really isent , we've been going up 10000% within 5 years , just imagine where we'll be in another 10 years.

there's no reason for him to prove that he has that amount.
466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin foundation is a very bad idea on: February 22, 2015, 01:17:36 PM
They should come up with a decentralized voting system and have people around the world freely vote on how they want bitcoin to be.

We have that already.  It's called mining.

I sure like the idea. Miners decide. You answered quite correctly about the fork question, but there are other issues. Shall we increase block size? By how much?

Another issue is that miners are no longer individuals on their home computers. They're now Chinese businessmen owning large web farms. Are they friendlier or any better than BTC foundation members?

I think that is alot of everyone's problem right now. The giant farms have taken away ALOT of individual mining positions
that were once held by people who had faith in Bitcoin. These people could have made the network stronger. Now its a few
BUISNESS men making the decision for thousands of people that have their hands tied.
agree with this man , damn bussiness men ! Smiley
467  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it hit $1000 again? on: February 22, 2015, 01:16:45 PM
Looks like we could possibly go all the way down to $200-$100 numbers again. Who would of though we'd be here now? Not me. I wonder if users are buying at these prices now. I only bought coins, but since I bought them at $650 each I've already lost money. My other small stash, which is only 15 coins all from mining so that's all profit, but it would be nice to see $800 again one day but it really doesn't look like that can happen. Maybe I'll just sell out and be done with this bitcoin. I don't think there could be much money made these days, especially if you can't cash out to begin with.

JUST HODL my friend ! together we shall remain strong and fight the dumpers
468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it hit $1000 again? on: February 22, 2015, 01:15:15 PM
Bitcoin is not a get rich quick! It's a "get rich slow" or "get poor quick", and you need to select one about now Smiley
best quote i've ever heard  Roll Eyes
honestly tho , i think we'll see 10k within 1 year.

One account has 185 Million Tokens ?

That would cost 23 Million Euros to acquire ?

Even with the split that could be 11.5 Million euros.

Wow  Huh
agree , this seems very stupid
476  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: February 22, 2015, 11:22:27 AM
They definitely are mixing well. A lot of porn sites do accept bitcoin payments now.
Also allows people to remain anonymous while purchasing
The porn industry is insanely big. A great niche where bitcoin falls down perfectly. Every single porn site will be accepting BTC.
yup , we just gotta wait for people to realise how big bitcoin is!

480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do if you wanted to stop Bitcoin? on: February 22, 2015, 11:17:44 AM
you could always bribe developers into adding things into the core code (little by little ofcourse) which remove the things we love about btc.  such as the 21m limit.
Bitcoin's core developers aren't as easy to bribe as you think, if the limit gets changed, people would most likely see it by reviewing the source code and don't update. If majority of the network do not agree, a fork will be created which will be useless in destroying Bitcoin.
i agree , the bitcoin core developers are already pretty wealthy probably , and wouldnt give up something they worked for so hard.
