461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm buying alts now on: April 19, 2019, 10:15:06 PM
I have done something crazy right now and gone all in on ARB got also small bags of DGTX, TRX, COSS and a bigger decent sized bag of DTEP. All these are to do with exchanges, so they all have a utility. I do own a small bag of BNB, am holding those for dear life and a little eth and BTC, But I do want to grow more bags before 2020 arrives. I went in mostly all in on ARB as it has humongous upside potential over the coming two to three months and I could also use some of the passive income I earn from there to diversify in other cryptos. I want to get some LTC also soon and some other good coins before the summer if possible.
462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the future HODL? on: April 19, 2019, 10:10:38 PM
I think we will have to compromise some of our Freedoms for the common good and to see Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies flourish. Unless the whole system of world governance is overhauled, we can't really see the rise of Bitcoin and long term HODL, as well as the mass utility of it unless we have some regulation and intervention. We want mass adoption and many people hodling Bitcoin but that will come at a price. We want total freedom, then we need first to get rid of the poor governance we have and that will take a long time. For now, though the HODL still applies and it's a long term one for many I believe.
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ARBITRAGING: Crypto Profit Trading Platform | HOT ICO! on: April 19, 2019, 10:03:53 PM
Today there was a pump and of course, within minutes of it ending the token dumped hard so in order to avoid a fast parabolic pump and dump, they have set new guidelines as to how the retracement will take place so it can happen more gradually in the future, which I think is a great idea in order to safeguard the token price.

I also made a video about this and other stuff going on and another video about the markets in ARB for today:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJ7w-qgAMbY&t=427s
 Here is the announcement:
Hi ARBNation,

We will be making Platform login inactive for 1hr @ 1PM UTC to enable us to implement the below changes.

We have made 2 changes to the exchange to help bring stability.

Due to the majority of arbitraging users not changing passwords for an extended period we are making a password change compulsory on login.

Exchange Changes:
1️⃣ The Exchange will reject any sell order that is 3% under the lowest ask.

2️⃣ If the highest Buy Order is 20% under the current Market Price you will be unable to sell to that order.

Thanks,
Community Manager Ozi
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Number of Blockchain wallet users are now above 35 million on: April 15, 2019, 12:06:31 PM
This seems like a lot but then again you have probably a lot of fo wallets on exchanges that are not accounted for unless this also includes all the wallets, the individual wallets of exchange users on the various exchanges. If that is the case, it seems like much fewer people are using or hodling Bitcoin than we first thought would be holding by this time, ten years on from the invention of Bitcoin. I wonder what it will be like over the next ten years, I bet that will grow exponentially with all the younger people using this technology.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Young africa looks crypto for payment on: April 14, 2019, 07:43:12 AM
With a very big growing population of Youngsters, now Africa is really primed for Bitcoin and other Cryptos because many unbanked with just a mobile phone now will be able to join the crypto revolution and be empowered to work in this space as well as transact in it. The blockchain now is here to stay, despite opposition from other more mature economic circles, African Countries now, both governments and the private sector can rally around this phenomenon and build a new economic paradigm for Africa to move forward at a brisk pace and I believe Crypto will be a very important factor in bringing Africa to the forefront of innovation and technology, as well as more economic empowerment for its People.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ARBITRAGING: Crypto Profit Trading Platform | HOT ICO! on: April 14, 2019, 07:37:22 AM
I think price wise now we reached a bottom and will be consolidating heavily at this point, I am seeing more and more buying and volume is rising. Today we got a nice tank extra of FREE GAS to run our abots, which was a cute surprise.
I posted about this in my abot diaries video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyiOFysDOD0&t=39s
Also, we just got a big announcement come in that they are working out the kinks and tradepro shadow features, among others are being tested,. I believe tradepro shadow trading will be a huge asset to the platform as utilities grow for the ARB TOKEN.

Hi ARBNation,

Firstly, I would like to apologize for the lack of communication, I have been working hard and attending important meetings. The team here understands that times are tough and have not stopped working, nor has anyone ran for the hills Smiley. We still have one goal in our sights, get everything functioning and complete the advancement of use cases.

I have given all aBot users half tank free gas to give all of you some time while a solution is put in place to help improve the current gas structure. (As stated in the last stream)

Trade Pro:
The Shadow feature is currently being beta tested.
The Bot features are currently being beta tested.
Beta testing has been going great we anticipate getting shadow features rolled out first, this will give a great new use case for ARB.

Debit Cards:
Yes this is still happening, we are working hard to get this rolled out as soon as possible.

Fees:
We will be working on restructuring the fees, we were asked by many to raise the fees, however we will restructure them to be more user friendly.

I would like to close this announcement by saying that the meetings I have been attending have been to help the future of the platform, we are not going away, we will keep working to advance.  I know that things have been up and down, but we will not give up on you.

Thanks,
David
467  Economy / Economics / Re: Time for investment on: April 14, 2019, 06:06:55 AM
I would choose a basket of portfolios ranging from the top, middle and low cap coins. The top ones have less risk but yet maybe less upside potential by way of multipliers, but middle to low cap coins or tokens have much larger risk and reward rations. So maybe it's good to invest 50% in the top tier coins then 30% in the middle tier and then 20% in the highest risk low cap coin/token regions of the CMC. Also if you can day trade to grow some bags or find some passive income you could then use to grow more bags, then even better of course. Just devise your own strategy and go for it.
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance(BNB) best alt coin ! on: April 11, 2019, 12:44:19 PM
I wish I had bought BNB when it was 10 cents or even a dollar would have been fine to me, to be honest. I only have a measly 5 and a half BNB but I think if anyone can afford, owning at least 100 BNB would be good for the next bull run even if it did a 5 x from here, it's not a bad multiplier. On the other hand, thinking more long term, BNB would be the kind of coin I would put in my retirement long term portfolio and look at it say after the next five years. I am sure BINANCE will grow in leaps and bounds in the next five years, so seeing it then even at 500 bucks a coin would not be impossible, all depends on its growth and adoption of course. All have to do with market sentiment, scalability of Binance as a company and the trend towards crypto investing.
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀💥🚀🚀 DECOIN :FIRST blockchain Profit Sharing Exchange platform 🚀💥🚀 on: April 11, 2019, 12:38:58 PM
Well, this is really strange because I was in their Telegram just now and saw that they are now licensed and can operate their exchange in 28 European countries. This is what they quote in Telegram and also show the license  certificate:
We are happy to announce that after much preparation and effort we have reached another significant milestone.

DECOIN has received a financial services license to operate a virtual currency exchange and is now officially regulated in the European Union, allowing it to operate across all 28 member countries.

DECOIN continues to grow and develop a secure, revenue sharing, regulated virtual currency exchange.   We look forward to seeing you there soon.

The DECOIN Team

I really am hoping 100% that this is a legit project as they were touring all over the Globe while in the ICO and they showed their faces to the Public, they were not just some anonymous devs working on some shoddy project. I just would love to have an ETA when the exchange is going to actually launch now as we all waited a very long time. I am waiting patiently and I think personally it can be a very promising project.
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money on cryptocurrency in 2019 on: April 09, 2019, 04:41:18 PM
I agree, it isn't as easy as 2017 now to make money doing bounties that's for sure, but I still like to do them now and then because I learn about new coins and even if only two of three of those coins moon in one year, it might really be worth it. For example, out of around 8 signature campaigns, I did last year only 2 paid me properly, the other ones scammed, od they never put their tokens on the exchange. One I received about 500 bucks for once I sold their token and then I rebought after price tanked and then one I think will be worth quite a decent amount of money once their exchange opens. These tokens just from the one campaign might be worth a few months salaries. So I never give up on crypto and I do other promoting as well for crypto, paid jobs and also some light trading and investing. Soon I will do shadow trading as well, once the platform allows for it. I think you can find ways of still making decent money in crypto, it's worth taking time to find your niche.

Decoin will be announce beta version of their exchange very soon, there is still 2 day to pass Q1 of 2019 Smiley

Yeah I really liked the unveiling of their UI today, I really liked the color scheme and I don't think it's a scam at all. The Admins in the telegram chat are really active and as usual, it will most probably be the bounty hunters that will dump fast and some very impatient investors who just like to flip ICOS and go from coin to coin to flip for BTC. I think this exchange has a chance of growing nicely but it will need to really ramp up marketing once the exchange is working as there is now plenty of competition in the Crypto Exchange space and every week there seems to be a new exchange popping up but a limited amount of users trading. I have been making a few DTEP every few days from staking and look forward to rewards as well coming from the trading fees. I always ignore the fudders because most newbie accounts created are from paid fudders paid by the competition to spew fud on social media. It's getting quite pathetic the crypto scene in this respect.
As far as I understand from official telegram channel, it is impossible to sell DTEP under $0,9. As a bounty hunter, I will keep my coins.

Yeah, with Decoin Exchange's Intelligent D-BOT Arbitration Bot things are looking bright with us. If binance coin is going $18 per piece we would probably do the same in the future to think that binance doesn't even have an an automatic, intelligent arbitration bot like ours.

Yeah we got like over 20k coins so I won't be dumping them any time soon that's for sure. In the whole of 2018 this was the best project that we received some coins for and we are staking the wallet and just growing them. You just need to hold a decent amount of coins for 2-3 really promising projects and that can change your whole life if you are patient. At this point, I would even be happy for it to go to 5 bucks by this time in 2020. I think if developments go as planned and there is good marketing, we might be able to reach that in 12 months from now. We just need a good exchange with a growing membership, good marketing, and innovative fintech services and this could be a big hit.

475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: to many poor people? on: March 30, 2019, 04:37:41 PM
I don't have any bad feelings towards poor people, we can all sometimes get ourselves in a difficult position in life. What does get me is the impatience, the hacking, the FUD paid groups going around destroying the legitimate projects, along with thieves and cheaters who will try to steal from others to gain. I have also been doing bounties and am appalled by the Vietnamese Gangs that go around trying to impersonate me and my Husband and on top of that STEAL OUR CONTENT to get paid lol and steal our bread and butter. Hackers and so-called developers going around these forums to maliciously find victims to fleece. People using poverty as an excuse to steal from others their legitimate income is criminal and that's what I hate most. I don't begrudge the poor who have been clever enough to work hard and invest in the good projects and made money from their hard work, to get rich in crypto, but these low lives stealing from other people using the excuse of poverty, disgusts me.

477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New Bounty Platform for Crypto Lovers on: March 29, 2019, 02:45:39 PM
The problem is I live in a developed country and I have heard that the payouts coming from this bounty type platform are very low, so I am going to review it and check it out with caution. I want to earn decent money now and a paying wage. I do videos for a company and they pay me and I get ten bucks a video for it and I am happy with that kind of work. Anything less than ten bucks an hour for me is not really worth my time anymore to be honest as living expenses in my country are a lot. I won't do micro jobs anymore unless the pay is good, so am only trying to get quality jobs right now.
478  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the most problem facing in the market? on: March 29, 2019, 02:42:22 PM
I think the main problem right now is trust. Also, the Crypto markets are too volatile for the average layperson to get in and understand how to invest. Even us seasoned Crypto people get it wrong many times and it takes a lot of guts to enter what I would call a fledgling market. I think once the big institutions have finished filling up their bags and getting the right infrastructure done to bring in your Average Joe to invest in cryptos, it will be a much safer place for mass adoption to occur. Right now the crypto markets are a really scary place to ivnest in for normal people. Also many got burnt in 2018 like myself, so for many, they are still finding their feet.
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Revival is On The Way - According to a trader on: March 29, 2019, 02:37:50 PM
So far we have stayed in a sideways action for a while, which can only be a good thing right now because in August we have LTC halving and then Bitcoin halving next year, so I am really beginning to think we can only do better from here. I notice too on the Coinmarketcap site that the biggest gainers of the day are huge compared to the biggest losers of the day. So many people are trading altcoins to accumulate big amounts of Bitcoin. Let's see if there is going to be a break out later in the year or early next year as we prepare for the big Bitcoin halving event that takes place every four years. This could be another chance to accumulate good stuff.
480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jihan Wu is no longer CEO of Bitmain on: March 28, 2019, 06:06:24 AM
WOW, I wonder why this happened? Did he just resign himself or was he voted off? I just don't like the way both Jihan Wu and Craig Wright made a consorted effort to destroy the price of Bitcoin, bringing the whole market down with them. Their greed and selfishness ruined a lot of people's lives and I won't support any one of their Coins. I will never buy Bitcoin Cash or SV, just out of principle. I think Bitmain will survive the competition, maybe they are too big to fail right now in this Industry? Only time will tell.
