461  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of war on global economy. on: February 26, 2024, 06:02:10 AM
~
As reality has shown - normal people who value life, development, progress - are against war. But there are regimes that set themselves absolutely inadequate goals and realize their complexes. And their own population, duped by propaganda, serves as a tool for this. Who not only kill and destroy other countries, they do not have human values, they go to suicide themselves, deprive their country of the future, deprive the future of their children and grandchildren .... The problem with the world is that it's playing tolerance with these regimes. If they had not been allowed to develop over the last 20 years, the world would be living without problems now. Such regimes are like cancer cells, if they are not identified and destroyed in time, they will metastasize and start destroying everything around them. People have the highest value - life, while these criminal regimes have the highest value - destruction and annihilation

Maybe I'm over-optimistic in thinking that the civilized world has finally realized that tolerating these regimes is not a joke and must be eradicated like cancer cells? Iran, Russia, North Korea, these countries have very good people inside, but their governments can't be tolerated any more, they must be destroyed the sooner the better. I really think that many people came to this conclusion today and that the days of these regimes are numbered.
462  Economy / Economics / Re: Recession soon? on: February 26, 2024, 05:26:25 AM
People might be aware that some of the esteemed and largest organisations are laying off their employees left right and centre, are we heading into recession? Because I have seen my colleagues getting laid off and it's been months they are unable to find a job. Either we are heading towards recession or globally companies overhired the employees post COVID hence clearing the additional manpower. I am bit convinced that it's like recession sort of thing and not sure to over hiring. Share your thoughts on this crisis which has left a good amount of people without any work.

It's just what's happening around you. The world is big and in other parts different things are happening. Also I don't understand the "overhired the employees post COVID" part. I'm sorry people around are losing work, but it has little to do with what's happening in the world as a whole.
463  Economy / Gambling / Re: Withdraw ''instant'' isue on Freebitco.in on: February 26, 2024, 05:04:48 AM
Has anyone else encountered issues with withdrawing BTC from freebitco.in? I initiated an instant withdrawal and paid the fees, but I haven't received it yet. Any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated. Thank you

I've been using freebitco.in for many years, and have never experienced issues with them. If you are multiaccounting, then they are right when they don't allow you to withdraw because it's cheating on your side. Freebitco.in is a reputable site and I apart from obvious scammers no one had issues with them, as far as I know.

Please post here about receiving your withdrawal and lock the thread.
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: February 25, 2024, 10:45:10 AM
Gambling is blocked by most work computers like a few other vice subjects people might know of.   Obvious reasoning its a clear distraction to a large extent and there is no crossover interest from one to the other, nothing work related is gambling most of the time so its an easy exclusion and many utility providers will do this by default rule set.   That software then is sold across entire company network and set in policy, Ive seen it built into routers and anti virus software.   Theres always a way around it but in addition a work place may search actively for traffic resembling that which is banned, Ive seen that done.

It depends on where someone is working. In big companies' offices it''s like you described it, but if it's company without computer work at all, like a factory or something like that, of course people can gamble there using their phones. They can, but they shouldn't, that's what most people in this thread would agree with.
465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why in some religion gambling is forbidden? on: February 25, 2024, 09:40:40 AM
~
This makes sense because when someone only relies on money, person will believe that money is everything and really consider money as something that can make him happy and get whatever he wants.
But I don't think this is what it means because money is worldly object and is indeed something that is very valuable because without money person cannot live, without money person will only experience difficulties.
I think if it is related to belief then gambler can be much better because they hope and pray to God or the gods to be able to give them luck and be able to win at gambling so they can get certain amount of money.
This clearly shows that their belief in God or gods is truly higher.
It just that the mistake is that when loser occurs, the gambler feels that God is unfair and thinks that God does not give or grant his prayers for the hope of winning at gambling, this is clearly very dishonorable attitude.
Moreover, what really drives the prohibition of gambling in religion is that there are other parties who suffer losses, it is clear that gambling causes losses to other parties and provides benefits to certain parties.
From here, in gambling there is clearly no way to make money responsibly and it seems that all existing religions prioritize morals and compassion, of course harming one party is not teaching in religious book.

When you win in gambling you are not harming any other party in any way. It's Luck that "harming" them.

One thing I know for certain that praying will not help you to win in gambling. If there was God he would make such person lose for sure because first off he forbids gambling, and forbids it for other reason than "harming" other party when you win.
466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: February 25, 2024, 08:36:53 AM
The thing is that even betting a small amount you can win a lot, thousands of USD. And what a shame it would be if won't be able to withdraw you winnings in that case! So, I would say, no, not only you want to play with quite a lot of money you should read the terms and conditions. Save yourself from possible unpleasant situations, read them.
How your small bet turns into thousands of dollars is something that happens very rarely. To be honest, I also don't like reading very long and complicated ToS. I appreciate you wanting to read it but if it were me then I would just ask people who have played there first. I think a trusted casino must have a strong community and it will be easy for us to get the information we need. If it's thousands of dollars I think it's easy to ask because there's a chance someone else has had this happen to them. But if it's tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars on very small bets, then there's a good chance you won't be able to withdraw your money if you don't actually read the ToS. But doesn't that sound like a fairy tale that is almost impossible to happen.

Indeed, it does. But what we are doing when playing slots is we dream about the impossible. We don't expect it exactly, but somewhere in the corner of our mind we always remember that it can happen. The probability is very low, but it's never zero. And if it happens and you can't withdraw your winnings because you didn't read the ToS, well, everyone can imagine how it would feel.

First off, congrats on your amazing win, @panjul07!

After reading your post I decided to play this slot by Pragmatic Play a bit(I've never played it before).

After like 20 spins, some of which gave me small wins around 1 dollar, I hit a really nice win, 103x of my bet:

It's not even close to yours 8947x(this is something I can only dream of), but still it was a great start to the day. Smiley

468  Economy / Gambling / Re: [SOLVED] Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: February 25, 2024, 07:06:57 AM
We have completed the refund process for the final set of withdrawal requests. Out of these, two have been denied due to fraud (account was previously banned). Three of them have been forwarded to the risk management team of our odds feeds and game providers. Apart from these five instances, all other refunds have been 100% completed.

We will process or deny the remaining cases based on the results of the review conducted by the third-party risk management team.

It was never our plan to stop Betnomi as it was going amazing before pause but it was my duty to make sure everyone was made whole.

Thank you all for your patience.

I can confirm that I have received everything that was on the site when Betnomi stopped working. More than $400, big money for me.

Thank you very much, Betnomi! I have trusted in your integrity from the very beginning and now I'm glad you haven't let me down. Will definitely play on your new site. Good luck with your new project!

But what does he think when he takes away something that an older adult really likes? They become depressed, they begin to feel very bad, because they become like children again, that's what happens with them, they are very delicate, they become little again, so they must treat themselves and let them do what they like, If they like the casino, no matter what, they have the right to have a good time in what they like, but as long as things are controlled, then given this, many things have to be done, first of all, control them so that it is not going to be addict, because that is bad, however I don't think so, they are people who sometimes control themselves very well and they don't like their money going away just like that, because they like to have fun, I think that's what it must be done.

How can you "control" someone to prevent him/her from getting addicted to gambling? I mean, many people try that, but in reality they fail mostly when someone is inclined to be addicted. Before someone starts gambling it must be explained to him/her that gambling will not make them rich. Gambling is for entertainment only, and people must know it before depositing their money on a gambling site.
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: February 24, 2024, 09:37:08 AM
Before my experience didn't go very far in gambling, I often watched influencers and it really influenced me, but the current situation is very different, just like you, I just smile when. seeing casino influencers playing, I am no longer influenced by influencers and I prefer to play with my personal choice and do it with satisfaction whether I lose or win.

That's a great approach to gambling! I think every gambler should think of it like that. When you win you are satisfied, it's obvious. But to be satisfied when you lose takes some wisdom, I would say. I have a tip: don't play games you don't like. I for one don't like 90% of slots, but there are thousands of them so I can always pick ones I enjoy playing.
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: February 24, 2024, 09:06:14 AM

A gambler wining his or her game by a 100x is already a good achievement, as that simply means that the gambler has successfully doubled his or her money 100 times, now imagine the game was played with like $100, then timesing that by 100 makes it's a lot of money.
And you winning by 1000x+, This I would say is nothing but luck, you must be one hell of a lucky gambler, I myself have never won anything above 50x, and I remember one time I was playing a game and chasing the 1000x multiplier, I played for several weeks, like almost a month with no success, at a point, I decided to purse and check the chances of me getting a 1000x win, and after seeing the chance in percentage (which was around 0.0000002 percent) I simply gave up chasing, and just started playing the game to have fun.

For me it's always for fun. Chasing something as rare as 1,000x would be crazy. I'm just playing hoping to hit something around 50x or 70x to feel good, but I know that 1,000x isn't impossible too. Here's the proof:

Now I want to win with a multiplier like 2,000x, but, of course, I never chase it. If Lady Luck will be on my side it will happen, that's what I know. Smiley
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Phase Or Are You Slowing Down Your Gambling Activity When.... on: February 24, 2024, 08:12:51 AM
I'm talking about religious activity..

The Christians have the Holy Week and it lasts for a whole week.

The other religions I did not mention have activities or festivities that their followers and believers must observe.

Did you slow down or are you taking a vacation? how long is your vacation before and after the religious activity?

In my case, I usually slow down and stop all my gambling activity, two weeks before the religious activity so I can fully reflect on my religion, and after the religious activity, I usually take a week before I get back to my normal gambling activity.

You participation in this discussion is appreciated.

First off, to even consider these things you have to be a religious person. I'm not. I don't want to say that I don't believe in God, but all religious organizations in the world don't satisfy me, so to speak. So my gambling activity isn't affected by any religious events in any way. To be honest, I often don't know why people are greeting me in a particular day.

Less than a week left for BTC/ETH price prediction and the ranges as well as the odds looks promising this time.
If we place our bets both on $50k - $55k and $55k - $60k, we will be able to take a good spot hoping BTC not to fall further from here.
I will still wait a few more days to take my range and then place my bets on the last day to stay on the safer side.

I hope BTC will not go below $50k, because then I will lose my bet. The odds were 15.10 for this range when I placed my bet. Now they are 1.59

But it looks like the guys who bet on the "$45,001 - $50,000"

can be the winners in the end.

I still believe BTC will go over $70k this year, but maybe later.

Yeah, very crazy, very sad. At least insurance keeps us alive in hope for another play at Sportsbet. Why I chose Leicester City when I always like a Boro upset, I'll never know. Guess I thought Daka would take it all the way playing at home.
Better bet on underdogs with asian handicap Wink

Betting on underdogs is what I find exciting. Needless to say that the multipliers for such bets are great, but that's not all of it. You feel really special when a team no one believed could win surprises the whole world by its unexpected performance, and you was the one who was hoping for that result.
475  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ BITCASINO - Elevate Your Gameplay 💎 #1 VIP Crypto Casino ✈️ on: February 21, 2024, 03:46:01 PM
Live RTP is back on Bitcasino! I thought it was gone for good, but yesterday I saw it's back again in the usual place:

And since it was back I decided to play it a bit. "Where to begin?", I thought, and decided to start from one of the lowest RTP at the moment, Horror House by Booming Games

Up to 4800x? Not bad. I've seen better, but 4,800x isn't something I would complain about. But the reality was quite different

As you can see, my biggest win had never reached 3x even. So, I moved on.

Carnaval Forever by Betsoft was my next subject of research. What caught my attention was huge live RTP, 217.91%, during the last 24h and I liked the name. This slot was a lot of fun. I think 90% of my spins were giving me 2 scatters

but not a single one had actually gave me the long-awaited free spins. My biggest win on this slot was €2.00:

Still not bad. 20x, out of my 10 cents bet.

The next stop was Jumbo Joker by Betsoft.

See those 4.2%? That's about what I got from playing this slot.  Grin

And finally Big Bamboo by Push Gaming

Again one of the slots with the lowest RTP, 17.4%, at the moment. Won 8 free spins right away:

and won nice €6.72 with them.

It was fun. Smiley

Right now there's no ongoing Stake vs Eddie promos, but when it's on I will try my luck there. Thank you!
There is ongoing SvE promo, it is a weekly promotion so we get new challenge every week https://stake.com/promotions/promotion/stake-versus-eddie
I'm not sure how can you say there is no ongoing SvE promo, cant you open the SvE promo page above or maybe you cant access the selected slot game?
~

Thank you for the link! I was searching for it on the Stake Forum, so that's why I couldn't find it. Smiley

To tell the truth, the challenge doesn't look so simple to me. Right now the Target Multiplier is 819.27x, and from all my tries my biggest multiplier was only 10x:

But I bookmarked the page and will be visiting it and try my Luck from now on there. Thanks again! Smiley

Actually you have a point but we can't even say if they are really honest with their customers, because there are instances that if you observe, it seems like there is fraud going on, especially the slot machines in a casino house. I'm not sure if it's really just bad luck but it's surprising if every day you play, there are only losses and no wins. Wouldn't you be surprised if that happened to you?

Yes I would be surprised. Actually it happened to me just recently: I played a new slot be pretty famous provider and from the very beginning I was losing constantly, I'd lost like 50 times in a row and I thought "This is definitely a rip off!", but the next day I started winning on the same slot and realized that it was just a coincidence that when I only started playing it I lost 50 times in a row.

But you are talking about in-house games. Can you name on, that I'd try it out myself?

And with each new bet, you need to increase the bet proportionally in order to win back previous losses and win something. I am sure that everyone who has tried this strategy on themselves has encountered the fact that you no longer think about winning, but calculate the bet only to win back the lost money. You can also bet on tails every time the previous one was tails, but this will not change the essence much, in such a game it is extremely difficult to remain a winner, because the probability will most likely eat your depot earlier.

Martingale as any other gambling strategy can be used safely if in the end, when you lose all your balance because of bad luck, your negative profit is still something you can afford to lose. I myself use martingale almost every day on dice, and sometimes it gives great results, but the important part is that my entire balance is not that big and usually I stop when about 25% of it is lost.
