461  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: All Bitcoin Faucets for Faucethub that I know, With No Shortlinks! on: October 22, 2019, 11:59:44 PM
Thank you. It is annoying when faucets use short links. They should not call it a faucet claim but rather a shortlink claim, but faucet owners want more money. When they add a short link and a captcha then I am done.
The short links are not so bad depending on where they are from. Some are horribly spammy and annoying while others are quality and clean. The ones who cram in ads end up looking unprofessional and spammy.
So I do not think people will pay much for them. The most annoying to me is the anti-bot. I leave right away.
462  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Mellow ads not working anymore? on: October 22, 2019, 11:17:52 PM
I have not used it but I found this website. It was quite a hard find. https://adalso.com/index.php?view=home&

They work the way mellowads or A-Ads works. Please let me know what you think? I will be giving them a go soon.
463  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FaucetLink URL Shortener on: October 22, 2019, 10:49:57 PM
This is why I do not just join any adnetwork or monotonize method. All of your websites are offline not just this one. This thread is only a month old and the site is already down -_-
I don't even get to check the rules or anything. Why do you do this though? Why let your sites go down?
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would ICO scene succeed if it was organized like crowdfunding not investing? on: October 22, 2019, 06:05:31 AM
What would happen if people didn't follow greed and projects didn't promise crazy gains? If this was not main theme of ICO craze, but instead - true and honest support?

If you support someone for example through Patreon - you give him money and you don't really think much what will happen with this money - it's lost for you anyway and you feel good for supporting someone you like.

If all ICOs went that route, sure, we wouldn't see such crazy gains but we wouldn't also see such falls. People supporting projects that would fail would probably don't scream "scam scam!" all the time.

If you give a dollar on a street to someone begging, you usually don't follow him later and check what he bought in a store - liquor or food. Yeah, you are dissapointed probably if you see him drunk next day but you simply don't give him more money.

If ICOs was organized more like that, I think it would be much more healthy environment.
Without greed and big gains we will lose a lot of people from the community. We certainly have the choice to invest in thinking as you say but the ambition of big profits is more dominant than other feelings. Actually, if everyone is forced into such system, we will lose a lot of people, but we will have a stronger crypto environment. And we are not the only ones who need to struggle in this regard, so developers should be forced to do something about it too.

Do we really though? I mean who are we really losing? Those people after big gains are throwing their money at scams which makes things worse, not better. They are foolish people and none of that crypto goes to the community. It all just gets dumped on the market by the scammers. Hopefully, people will wake up soon and start considering other options instead of just the first few they see that sound cool or look cool and just have good advertising.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Build yourself a solid portfolio with good projects on: October 22, 2019, 05:50:44 AM
not all cryptos are good, many projects are scams and only want to extort money from novice investors, I suggest if you want to buy a good crypto you see from whitepapers, teams, roadmaps, missions etc. on the web, if there is anything suspicious leave the project immediately like that because it's too risky.

Most of the time you do not even need to look that far to see if it is a scam. People can just be greedy and not read. Bounty hunters just join at random so I am not surprised scams are still around. Put most of your funding into projects that are established or have serious plans to become so in the close future. Never let it be the far future because too many times that never arrives.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What makes you still join the bounty campaigns? on: October 22, 2019, 04:45:15 AM
I am very selective. There are good projects. There are so many really bad projects and too many bounty hunters just jump on them. The few that are worth doing will payout well and I have joined some nice bounties in the past. People seriously need to stop blaming projects. It is their fault for choosing such bad projects 90% of the time.

there are more than enough reaons to continue participating in bounty campaigns even though participating in new bounty campaigns don't seem appealing but what if the next bounty campaign to participate in is your breakthrough and its going to be your all time highest paid bounty program. Time changes and the useless or shit tokens you have now can turned out to be something huge. I will still participate or join bounties because I know I will surely meet my breakthrough bounty.

I agree with you, I think people are just lazy.

My own fact about bounties in 2019 is that lazy people won't make a dime from airdrop or bounties because scam projects are every where nowadays, to be able to make money now you have to work very hard by joining many airdrops and bounties, surely one or two will turn out with positive result
But don't you think that 1 - 2 campaigns won't pay you enough. Those campaigns might not worth your time spent on. Imagine spending hours and hours but in the end you get only small amount. Yeah! Lazy people won't make money now or never. If they do then it's still by some luck.

Yes!! If you do your research there are definitely good projects to support. It doesn't even take that much effort to figure out if a project is good or bad. Many people just join and do not even learn about the project yet the spend hours doing bounty work. It makes no sense.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4 bitcoin risks you should know when investing in bitcoin on: October 21, 2019, 11:39:57 PM
"Therefore, there is no legal way to protect Bitcoin earnings from taxes"

How do you pay tax on something that doesn't belong to the government? It was not issued by the government and so it doesn't adhere to any law. It is not even real money or legal tender. It is something made for the people. The government do not have a btc address I don't think?

If you go to fiat from crypto then you definitely pay tax since you going from a free currency to a government-controlled one and since the government owns it they make the rules.
468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC, why do some people just get it, others really don't? on: October 21, 2019, 11:20:06 PM
Often people become hostel when something is different or they do not understand it. It has happened through the ages. Just look at the witch trials genocides or Racism. For some reason, people feel the need to be right at all costs. Makes no sense to me because what is wrong with being wrong? Not everyone is like this though. Only the weak, however, there is still a large number of people like that and I find that most people with prejudice against one thing will normally have it against another too. The thinking behind it goes hand in hand with one another.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will Be 1M$ if all countries Ban it on: October 21, 2019, 10:57:08 PM
Do you mean like what happened with drugs after the US government declared a war on drugs? It doesn't work that way and th reason is that bitcoin is a currency and needs places to be spent. If the currency goes to the black market tso weill those who accept it. There will be far fewer places to spend it and you would have to deal with the underground type of people. Drugs work because they are consumable. The only person that needs to use the drugs is yourself. Unlike bitcoin which would rely on a third party drugs can be consumed alone and when they are consumed more are bought. If there is not many places to use bitcoin then there will not be as much bitcoin bought as there would be with drugs.

So basically this only works for things that are consumable.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheaters . who caused the cryptocurrency to go down on: October 21, 2019, 10:26:53 PM
I don't think this user is talking about bounty. You can't cheat a project with bounty. It won't affect them. Not sure what the OP is talking about tbh, I wish they would edit their post. You cannot cheat a bounty. If you make more then one account the same amount of tokens will still be sent out. The project won't lose anything. I don't actually see what the problem is really? So long as the work is good who cares?

After reading some of the members' responses related to the OP discussion, it turns out that what the cheaters meant here was for bounty hunters.
I think there needs to be a company specializing in combating fraudsters.
To overcome this, multi-account, cheaters who are trying to monopolize the bounty campaign, there are already a number of bounty managers and other members who are very concerned and create a red list for related accounts and cheating.
Instead of busy blaming each other for making this bad, it's better to focus on each other's progress. Focus on running the bounty to the maximum, according to the rules, and not being greedy.
Absolutely. There are many frauds in the cryptocurrency world. Especially those bounty hunters. There are many users who use multiple accounts in order for them to be able to earn. So I would say that it is cheating and it might fraudsters as well the reason why bitcoin still doesn't know due to multiples accounts being used by the same person. That's probably the reason the project has a low count of investors. But if ever, that has a small effect not the overall outcome and it depends who is managing.

Why would someone having more then one account do anything to a project? How does that hurt them? THe same amount of work is still done and the same amount of tokens are still given out.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Fully Decentralized World is Possible? on: October 21, 2019, 10:15:00 PM
I think so. Everyone would govern themselves and each other. We would all have crypto from all kinds of companies so will all have access to the things that would normally become available from taxes. Instead of wasting time going the tax route, that money(crypto) is placed directly back into development and thus new roads can be built and things can be repaired. The number of tokens you have will determine how many dividends you get out of each company and you will work and ear the tokens or coins of whatever that company is. Like working for fixing the road will give you stocks(crypto) in all road work and depending on how it does you will get dividends.
472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are People Losing Interest with Bitcoin? on: October 21, 2019, 10:11:11 PM
It is just like that meme. " If you cannot love me at $3k then you don't serve me at $100k" People only want to know about something when the going is good.

There seems to be a trend not yet recognized by many experts and that is the withering interest of the people on Bitcoin, especially if we compare today with the days of 2017 and early months of 2018. Of course, we could not expect that people will always like, search and talk about Bitcoin for years. There will always be a plateau and a possible downtrend, sometime somehow.

Is this something we have to accept or should we do something about this?

I guess you are correct, people are losing interest right now. But this seems regular and normal. Time to time, people will hype and buy bitcoin and lose money. This is normal, they will trade and lose some money because they think that they will get rich with bitcoin.
Im personally agree with you. many people are attracted to bitcoin and invest when bitcoin prices are high and when bitcoin prices fall, new investors are starting to lose their trust in bitcoin. whereas in my opinion this kind of attraction is a mistake. precisely in my opinion when the price of bitcoin is low is the right time to start investing with bitcoin so you can get profits when bitcoin returns high. and I think this kind of wrong understanding must be what new investors need to correct

People who only appreciate things when they do well do not deserve those things. Did they think bitcoin would just continue to go up and never stop? What about the fiat inflation? Or are people so use to inflation they forget about it?
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You own a decent amount of Bitcoin, How would you increase it on: October 21, 2019, 09:51:05 PM
The problem with letting someone hold your bitcoin is that you no longer are the owner of them. 3% means it will take up to 33 years (less with compounding) to get that same amount again.
During those years if anything happens then you are at a loss. I think to take your time and invest in good projects that have tokens and coins that have a use and reason for investing in. Then you sell when the time is right and increase your bitcoin. You can also work and ask to be paid in btc.
474  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Click4bits.com - More than a way to earn Bitcoins on: October 21, 2019, 08:16:22 PM
How long has your website been around for? SInce you made this thread? I ask because you have thousands of members and have already paid out 0.025 btc which is pretty good and quite a lot of money that you made.
I see you not very active here so I may not get a reply from you but I will try anyway and hope for the best. I will never pass an opportunity to make some money.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are excited everytime we see a new coin without knowing it first on: October 17, 2019, 08:27:09 AM
I don't. I only get excited when the coin has a use or is based on a game and can be used and investing in to. without a use just yawn.  Embarrassed
The last token I was excited for was tokpie. A token backed by bounty hunter platform and exchange. It has a reason to be in hodl and gives perks. I is also necessary to trade.

People just follow the trend. They don’t do proper research about the project and just invest in it because they see people making profits and making miracles, so they believe that it is very easy to do.

They think if they keep throwing money at something eventually something will happen.
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: short term or long term investing on: October 17, 2019, 08:18:16 AM
I prefer the long term because my capital is also small, also can see the development of altcoin and even then, in my opinion if taking the short term is rather risky because we don't know any good or bad news, therefore I prefer the long term even though the results are small because I have a little capital.
Long term investments bring more profits but the time you have to wait very long. In fact, many investors choose to invest in long-term because this is the best way for them to avoid big investment risks. Now the market is in a very bad stage so it will affect psychology very much so it is best to keep in the wallet and forget this coin for a few years. I usually do this when deciding on a long-term investment, and of the 10 coins I invest in, only 6 are very profitable for me. Of course the risk will be high if you buy at a high price.

Make short term investments that go towards and build up longterm investing. The short-term investing must yield a high profit whilst the long term one remains stable.
I see a long term investment like a bank, a bank that generates little bits of money all the time. Alternatively, you could keep it for longterm compounding interest and just leave it to gather without touching it.
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you lend in cryptocurrency? on: October 17, 2019, 08:08:11 AM
I would only lend with collateral otherwise no ways. People have scammed me before and run away. I don't need it happening again. I wonder how often the loans are not paid back with all these loaning websites.
It would be great to invest in nexo loaning and get 8%/year They look very legit but I am still scared. It says they a Licensed & Regulated Financial Institution but what does that actually mean?
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO becomes successful = ETH will moon? on: October 17, 2019, 08:02:24 AM
I honestly thought that eth would just keep going up seeing as it is used as gas for every other token. With the new IEO things should pick up significantly.
I think maybe the devs dump it after they get their funds. That is one reason why it went from over $1000 to just $200.

How successful or unsuccessful an IEO is does not affect the proce of eth in anyway, I think Ethereum itself now is just a blockchain on which most projects are built and just when they kick of most of these projects switch to their own blockchain

It kinda does since there will be more activity and need for gas.
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange platform are why ieos have gone quiet on: October 17, 2019, 04:42:48 AM
When ieo started with binance, it roused other exchanges to kickstart the same
But recent discovery tell us that exchange platform charge a lot to list ieo projects for ieo

And also some exchanges conduct ghost ieo and list token to drive in investors only to exit

If ico ieo sto and ito isn’t the way; how then can serious good projects conduct a crowdfunding to help their idea ??

I beg to differ.

Exchange platforms charging a high fee would not be an issue if there was even a fraction of the demand for these tokens when compared to the alt craze of 2017. Back then, listing fees were absolutely over the roof with barely any legitimate, non-hyped up project being able to afford it, yet it can still be financed due to the absurdly easy environment for getting investments.

And plus, people look at IEOs no differently than ICOs now, which is different to when it initially came out with the surprise factor.

At the end of the day, the ICO/IEO market is completely saturated with unwilling investors right now in a bearish environment. That's all there's to it.

I agree with you. A project will find a way to raise the funds it needs. They can always run a pre-ICO and just ask for enough funds to be listed instead of this massive amount that includes everything.
After being listed they can then raise further funds they might need and go from there. You could even get a free listing. I remember over a year ago there were coins that you could list with votes.
I don't know if they do that anymore but they also had bounties to help get listed. Mostly it was supporters who helped them get listed with their votes. My point is that there are always options you just need to find what they are.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for your feedback! on: October 17, 2019, 02:32:23 AM
Website is so plain and boring. Not an expert but as a trader I wouldn't trade for such kind of website.

Without ICO I wish to see a a great product of yours soon. Please send your website link to check and share the feedback about it.

I assume those guys have enough funds for the project to run, at least a year.

It is still on the beta version, that is why they requesting members  of the forum opinion to know what is lacking and how they can improve on it, if you find if boring then just give your own opinion on the things you feel are not rightly done so that they know what to do, you can't just criticize without given a reason why.

Hi!
What do you think about the idea of crypto-traders marketplace? Would appreciate your feedback. Thanks! Smiley

your basically too late, if u have dev skills your better off just partnering with a project thats already established
this scene is too jaded for most ICOs nowadays, especially from newbie accounts, they almost always turn scam Sad
BUT: so many projects are lacking technical bandwidth, the problem is instead of working together everyone wants to start their OWN cash grab Sad lol

Maybe not too late. It's never too late to launch a good project because a truely good project will be a success regardless. If the user has something very important to share with the world and it solves an already existing peoblem then I think it will be ok for him to at least give it a shot. You have to try. Well, a project should be able to afford a copper account tbh.
Yes, there are too many projects trying to do the same thing and cannot handle it when really they should be working together.
