4601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: February 28, 2016, 02:00:35 PM
I am waiting for some World T20 matches like again India vs Pakistan and then India vs Australia ( hope it happens ) , I am very certain that it will be India vs some other team in the final, because at the moment India seem like un-beatable.
4602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: February 28, 2016, 01:48:41 PM
Offcourse the price will go up eventually and with that i see many possibilities to get a decent profit.
Else well i feel happy to be into the bitcoin revolution.

It's fun and very exciting.
Yes I am also holding some bitcoins for that. Though I often worry that I might just gamble them some day and could not resist myself, so far have been controlled but not sure for future.
4603  Economy / Lending / Re: NEED load 0.0085 (My bad i need 0.0085) on: February 28, 2016, 01:32:31 PM
See no one can do anything if you default with your passport and other ID's , basically ID just proves that you are right person asking here, but what guarantees that you will repay ? And no one is going to other country and file a case for 0.01 btc.
4604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Martingale Profitable ??? on: February 28, 2016, 01:25:06 PM
For some it is and for some it is not, those who play too much with it, its not for them and those who do with limited and controlled manner , it is profitable for them. So, you can not call it one sided whether it is martingale or other strategy.
4605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When gambling makes you cry. on: February 28, 2016, 01:15:54 PM
If you ever cry of gambling, then better understand that you have become addicted to this habit and now its best time to stop it. But yes we all ( who gamble ) have cried at least once in our life with gambling, and so have I too.
4606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: February 28, 2016, 01:09:19 PM
I usually stay away from gambling by mining and keeping other online projects going so that I don't think anything much of gambling. I spend anything on gambling as rarely

as possible. If I start to lose, I cash out and say screw it all. I sometimes invest a little and if I see some loss, out it comes.
Actually betting small and that also to relieve stress is not a bad idea at all. You should always do that, because then you cant call yourself addicted to gambling and once simple method that works to stay away for those who are addicted is - start spending time with friens and family.
4607  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: February 28, 2016, 12:47:05 PM
Hello guys,

how many of you are earning for living just with bitcoin based projects? If some of you do, can you contribute what do you do?

currently i am earning some decent amount each month through trading and some additional on the side from participating in a signature campaign. i can't call it earning for a living but i am satisfied with what i am earning which is as a second job/earning thing for me.
Yes I am too really earning a living with bitcoins, I do various small tasks and they all sum up together quite nicely to contribute towards my living. I also wonder whether there is a stand alone method to earn a living from BTC.
4608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: February 28, 2016, 09:49:00 AM
I heard somewhere that addiction comes from a lack of familial and friendly support. I guess one option is to associate yourself more with friends and family, to see if that can distract you from your habit of gambling. Hobbies, as previously suggested, can also divert your attention from gambling. You should focus on the entertainment value of gambling if you choose to continue, rather than the possibility of profiting. Perhaps that will set a threshold for stopping?
Yes very correct, if you get to talk more with family and friends and try to spend some spare time with friends rather than family then you will find it very easy to leave gambling. In fact spend that gambling money to watch some movie for 3 hours.
4609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: February 28, 2016, 08:45:36 AM
Gambling is badly addictive because you never know when actually you have fall in the pool of it. I think 50% of us ( yes even me I think ) are badly addicted to some habit or other. But some are really devastating like this gambling.
4610  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn 1BTC a year? on: February 28, 2016, 08:34:45 AM
Making 1 btc in one year is quite easy. I made 0.12BTC in 15 days. I think I can make 5 or 6 BTC a year. If some one try then easily can make 10 to 15BTC a year. But need to do hard work and be patients.
4611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin becoming centrally planned: Communist on: February 28, 2016, 08:07:35 AM
Bitcoins would let you transact using an electronic system, more anonymous and quite separate to your bank account.
But still, the rise of a digital currency instead of cold hard cash frightens a lot of people. But it could make sense for governments to dump cash and relay on only Digital currency.
4612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: February 28, 2016, 07:19:25 AM
It is very unfortunate when US dollar is also being used for illegal activity but online bitcoin is blamed.
Anything that has to do with purchasing products and services is something that can be utilized to do illegal work.
why Bitcoin is to be blame every time for illegal activity and not any other currency?
4613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: February 28, 2016, 06:05:19 AM
Stay away from dice, slots and other instant winning games, like you can win instantly, you can lose instantly and this second option happens the majority of the time in gambling.

Try sportsbetting, where knowledge has a lot to do with your bet, for example, you know in a match between two teams,
Team A is playing Team B and team A is favorite on odds. You read the news and analyses in different websites(easy to find google) and see that team B that is not the favorite is missing 4 decisive players. Of course once you know this, you bet on team A with a lot of confidence and the majority of time in these situations team A wins almost always.

Thats the safe gamble, but no 100% safe gambling ever possible.
Dice games are not that safe but you can invest small amounts to which makes it better than sports betting. Also, people who don't have much knowledge about sports may not be able to gamble safely and may end up losing a lot.
Yes but at the same time dice only rely on luck and even you can only win when you are lucky. While with sports, you can turn a unlucky day into a lucky one with your good starategies and knowledge about the particular sports.
4614  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long is Bitcoin life? on: February 28, 2016, 05:38:39 AM
Without giving much work to our brain we can say it. "Bitcoins life is unpredictable as well as endless". It has got developed in such a growing nature.
Bitcoin is here to live forever without any problem too. The only danger is the if miners stop mining bitcoins, which is unlikely to happen. So, if you are looking to invest in bitcoins, I can give you surety that you can save with bitcoins and your investments are risk free always.

4616  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Is faucet profitable ? on: February 26, 2016, 09:34:06 AM
If you got adsense approved then for you faucet should profitable, without adsense, faucet can't make profit, (now a days google is banned most faucet sites and they stop paying) all other advertisement networks can't make that much money.

Hello,

I am on my last year of a Computer Science bachelor and I've dealt with many programming languages and I thought I'd use this knowledge to get me an extra cash now that I'm really in need.

Languages I can code in:

Java;
C;
Haskell;
PHP;
HTML;

Anything else you can always send me a message and I'll let you know if I'm capable of completing or not.

Just do not message me about graphic design, I'm horrible at it! haha

Thank you for reading!
Do you have a portfolio/old school assignments to show us?

To be honest I've never built a portfolio. All I've done has been related to University work besides building a few websites using Wordpress (lol), sorry!
Then you should build a portfolio. Portfolie helps you getting some good online jobs or project. You can make a good portfolio with your wordpress blogs also. Not a bigg issue mate. See online peoples portfolios to get some good Ideas.
4619  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Shop which accepts BTC on: February 25, 2016, 09:01:35 PM
The main reason why most of online shops and market places not accepting bitcoin is money transferring / transaction time. Some time it takes too much time, 5, 6 hours, if bitcoin developers resolve this problem. Then major shops will start accepting bitcoin for sure.
5-6 hours lol. confirmation time just need 1-10 minutes mate ?
It depends on how much the fee is. If you pay a bigger fee, the transaction goes through faster.
But it is not in our control. We are not able to maintain and decide how much transection fee we want to pay, usually the blockchain.info charges automatically the transaction fee.
4620  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you help with bitcoin? on: February 25, 2016, 08:04:05 PM
If I have more and more bitcoins, then I will open a bitcoin school where I give education about bitcoin to kids, and make them ready for using and working with bitcoin in future.
