4701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think might be holding back Bitcoin's success? on: January 09, 2016, 05:46:35 PM
Fiat's ease of use and stability, this is the one and only reason that is stifling Bitcoin's progress.
Bitcoin is not accepted which causes its volatility; which decreases its acceptance which causes more volatility.

Still bitcoin is widely used by all people around the world. The volatility is highly preferred by many traders to make use of it by trading. I don’t think anything can stop bitcoin from succeed. Bitcoin have also caused lots of financial revolutions.

Also bitcoin communities are likely pushing it for succeeding. When the people are more supportive to the bitcoin developments, it will grow further on this kind of cooperation, I don’t think bitcoin will never slide from the point of succeeding.
4702  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is happening to BTC price? on: January 09, 2016, 05:14:28 PM
The price seems to be slowly trending downwards.
Let us hope it is not going to fall off a cliff.  Smiley

Relax buddy!
Nothing will happen. It's weekend and the majority is taking some rest these days.
The outlook for the next coming months is positive I'd say, so we will see an increase of BTC's value.

Yes I too expect same positive happening for bitcoin prices this week end. Because there are many positive events are happening around the globe which resulted in new money inflow to bitcoin. Bitcoin is trading right now around $450 in stable and steady manner.
4703  Other / Archival / Re: $1000 by 1q 2016? on: January 09, 2016, 04:27:30 PM
$500 to $600 will be the realistic figure for the 1q upto 2q of 2016, not unless there;s a reason and it will go up beyond $600..

But I do speculate $600 levels within January itself. With world stock markets prices going down, my speculations get more accelerated like by 2nd week of January itself we may see any surprises also.
4704  Economy / Speculation / Re: should i go 50/50 with gold and bitcoin? on: January 09, 2016, 04:23:08 PM
I'm 35% gold & silver, 60% bitcoin and 5% cash. Wink

I guess by cash you meant bank deposits. But I do not invest nay money into bank for interest gaining as in my country bank interest rates are very much lower than inflation rate. So, the worth of money's buying capacity is getting decrease over time if we invest  in bank.
4705  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2016 crash has begun! on: January 09, 2016, 03:57:26 PM
@OP,
We are heading towards $500 these days, do you call this crash???
Or a reverse crash I guess??? Wink
Can you please explain where did you see this crash coming from???

Just watch the charts.. the crash seem to have been delayed but it's going down right now.
Sentiment is negative. Selling pressure is high. Fundamentals are weak.

Even everything are in favor of down fall, bitcoin prices are moving upward. That has happened many times in past. I believe that's the beauty of bitcoin prices. As you have described may be the crash had been infinitely delayed.
4706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: January 09, 2016, 01:45:43 PM
With gambling you can earn so much money.
The question is how much money can you bet.
What is you skill with it. So yeah you earn a lot or you can lose a lot.

When we are considering how much money we can earn from gambling, we need to take care of how much we can lose at the same time. I don't think, in all type of gambling we need skill to win some money. But in most of the gambling we need luck to make profits.
4707  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: January 09, 2016, 01:05:19 PM
Fee is the same no matter what amount
Fast transaction

There are really many features along with above, that keeps me using bitcoin.
That bitcoin transactions are anonymous and easy to handle without hassle are the two main features as to why/what I like about bitcoin. Also,I like most is the  irriversablity of btc transactions.

4708  Economy / Gambling / Re: What is your daily bankroll limit? on: January 09, 2016, 11:58:18 AM
My daily limit won't be more than 0.1 BTC.
However, when I gamble after a long lay-off, I went up to 1 BTC.
And lost it all, damn it.  Angry

10 mBTC is a fair amount to win some satoshi from any type of gambling.
I'm very much addicted to dice gambling, I wish to invest some 25 mBTC to play safe. But I'm not allowed to invest in gambling by my spouse. I still keep my investing limit at 1 mBTC.
4709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Big Bash League T20 Cricket Predictions Discussions on: January 09, 2016, 10:19:40 AM
Till few minutes ago it was seeming that Stars have good control over the match but few overs changed the shape of the match as usually happens in t-20 format of cricket.I will wait to see where it finishes before jump in this match.

Still, Melbourne Stars are my favorites to win this match, actually Melbourne Renegades failed to score more even they have some big batting giants. 156 must be a easy target for Stars. So, I bet on them. D Hussey will be the key for Melbourne Stars's victory.
4710  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do girls use Bitcoin ? on: January 08, 2016, 08:30:29 PM
For me I don't know I haven't seen a girl using bitcoin.
What I have read of this thread that they are some girls that use bitcoins.
I think there will be also a lot of girls using bitcoin.

I don't think so, I have seen some girls who use bitcoins and in fact girls have the tendency to save and collect things, so they often collect them and don't spend at all.

I know someone who herself uses BTC , so yeah they love BTC !
4711  Economy / Gambling / Re: HYIP = Gambling on: January 08, 2016, 08:13:53 PM
HYIP isn't gambling. That's simple theft. The only gambling like element is guessing the time when the operator will run with the "investors" money.

I also couldn't find any reason to compare HYIP with gambling. Because HYIP is totally out of control it is like giving our money to somebody else. But in gambling you can stop at any time even with very small profit or with with small loss also.
So, in HYIP  there is no possibilities of preventing losses.
4712  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: January 08, 2016, 08:03:39 PM
I am buying bitcoin, because? Why not.
Buying some bitcoin and holding for increase is a good choice.
Also you can invest it and earn more. So that is one think to do.

I do see the people who are not buying bitcoin as they are not aware of bitcoin ecosystem. Because only without knowing about bitcoin, one person can be simply leaving bitcoin without buying. If you know the prosperous future of bitcoin then definitely you will buy some bitcoin.
4713  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will this bitcoin will go down? on: January 08, 2016, 07:54:12 PM
Well I don't think it will go down that soon.
You better just need to wait some couple of month that it can go down.
Bitcoin is stable above 400 dollars so yeah we will see.

There are no chances for bitcoin prices to go down in complete 2016. The pre and post halving effects will trigger a year long price appreciations.

You must be right. Because with the recent bitcoin prices are more stronger and keep on going in upward direction.
So, the upcoming halving must be a prime reason for this recent price up surge. So, the waves of this halving will not fade away very quickly and there are no chances for fall down of bitcoin price in near future.
4714  Economy / Speculation / Re: um.. why is the price going up? on: January 07, 2016, 08:41:19 AM
Until halving, there is no reason is needed for the bitcoin prices to go up. Because it is obvious prices are going up every day on the speculation of upcoming halving.
I do see this up surge of bitcoin prices as most expected one for many bitcoiners here.
4715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: January 07, 2016, 08:09:32 AM
Yes, gambling is always profitable. But it is highly unlikely. You have to basically fight the house edge. If the house edge of 2%, that means every hundred bets, 49 will be wins and 51 will be losses. But this is a statistic. You could lose all of them, or you could win all of them.

Yes, i agree with you. but not always profitable, you will profitable if you r not playing so greedy and know how to stop, especially if you bet on dice sites that have house edge.

Yes, with the proper disciplined way of gambling we can find ourselves into profit sometimes. But I do believe it is not possible for all the time for all the gamblers. Because stopping at right time must be more important when we are playing against hose edge.
4716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: January 07, 2016, 07:02:10 AM
Bitcoin has been always real money to me since the beginning.
Since i heard for bitcoin i know that it will have a good future as it is unique and the first cryptocurrency

But I'm not interested to consider bitcoin like real money now itself. Because it will make myself to regret. In future after bitcoins get higher value then I will use it as real money for my daily needs. So I'm saving my bitcoin for my future use, until it gets higher value.

4717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know whether its your lucky day? on: January 07, 2016, 03:22:52 AM
There is no such thing as my lucky day.
I just limit my losses / feel happy with my gains and move on.  Smiley

You are right. If I was able to find my lucky day then I would have been a billionaire by this time just with gambling profits alone. Even a lucky day has tuned into terrible day many times just with over gambling. So, there is no lucky day at all.
4718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: January 07, 2016, 03:17:47 AM
Today first T20 match between New Zealand and Sri Lanka. Match now going to start, Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field first.

I think NZ is much stronger team in T20 format so I think NZ will surely win this match. What you guys think?

New Zealand looks more stronger now after 18th over they have scored 163 runs for the loss of 3 wickets. I strongly believe it is going to be New Zealand's game. I have put my odds on New Zealand. The home ground advantages will continue for them in T20 series also.
4719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: January 05, 2016, 06:56:32 PM
unfortunately i must tell you that there are no safe methods to gamble your money in casinos, i would be very happy if there was such a strategy as it would let me to earn vast amount of money but then the casinos wouldnt get any profit from players

But controlling your emotions and always keeping your self-discipline are the some way of making your gambling more
safe. But it is not possible for all the gamblers to follow some rules to make their gambling safer.
Only in practice we can develop our own way of safe gambling. With the practice, the safe gambling is impossible.
4720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLE OR INVEST? on: January 05, 2016, 06:00:26 PM
to all of you guys.. what do you think is better? is it to invest or to gamble in sites? tell me your point of view and why.

Investing is better because they almost in all cases have Positive Expected Value.

Gambling is better if it has higher Positive Expected Value than investing, because of promotions or any other reason. Example : Ryan's pevpot.com

Getting profit by gambling is always based on luck. No guarantees at all.
Even if you gain at one moment you can loose every thing in the next moment. It's always too risky with gambling.
Investments are also risky but select programs can fetch us.
