No, I do not feel that altcoin is going to the moon right now. It is really trapped by the price of bitcoin. We don`t know if btc will go to 10K or fall down to 7K usd. In fact, I have accumulated altcoin today, CHR and WRX but they doesn`t hyped even there is event such as trading competition and mainnet. However, they may fluctuate anytime if btc will goes up. Actually, the recent market awaits the next move of bitcoin for altcoins to pump or dump.

I am an addict player of lotto in my country because sometimes the total prize is reaching 15M dollars and above. But I never win a large amount of that because the probability to get the 6 digits is low. In fact, I only won four digits equivalent to refunding my bet. It is really hard to hit the jackpot in lotto. Yes, it has the smallest bet and large amount of prize but it is really hard to win that game. This is just a study based upon the probability to hit the jackpot. It is said also that there is more chance for you to strike by lightning than to win in lotto. Please what is the reason behind the locking of a thread by Bitcointalk moderators? some of the thread about altcoins created by my friend has been locked for further comments after receiving up to 60+ comments within 24 hours. What's the reason behind this, please?
Akhjob already answered your query. In addition, bunch of same explanation may also be the reason why a thread is lock. If the topic is very specific and it answered already with the first reply (like this one). Moderators will lock the topic or even OP. So, don`t be mad when you did not reply or your topic was locked already because locking a topic prevents spamming the forum. PS. You may now lock this thread. I think it was already answered. |

trading can not be separated from the probability...
each trader makes a decision from deep analysis and then produces a probability, and every decision to sell, buy, or hodl will greatly affect the assets of the trader. many people think trading is not much different from gambling but they don't understand that gambling is a guess that requires luck to win.
Trading cannot be compared to gambling because of many reasons. Though in trading as well we do require luck as well because at times after being buying/selling something and later on some news comes you may miss out by just seconds and that decision can go wrong based on the news which appeared later. But surely trading required lot of knowledge, understating of the market situation, analysis and based on technical and fundamental people would be trading it. Aside from that, you must have the ability to hear gossips/signals. I don`t believe that trading is based in probability since whales manipulate the market. Yes, sometimes the market is your friend but many times it is your enemy. If we want an easy money, gambling is the best way to make it. Easy yet risky. But if we want an investment assurance, we should learn how to trade using our own analysis. |

If you are mature enough to accept your losses in trading then probably you can easily overcome and handle all your mistakes more effectively. Only the traders who are finding themselves frustrated after doing a mistake and then facing losses, may not able to handle mistakes as a step stone for their career growth. You must do lots of mistakes in your trading when your capital is small because in future you may develop your trading with the multi-fold capital and then you should never repeat same types of mistakes so that you can secure your capital which must be the first step toward making good profits.
When we take time to analyse why we are doing mistake and what are things we must need to take care so that we can avoid such mistakes then over the time we can simply avoid all the mistakes. This is all about continuous learning. We can make mistakes but we should never repeat mistake.
Another reason why we have always mistake in trading is the greed. I know that most of us are greed to take higher profits since we should maximize our profits. Besides, this is the reason why I fail to make money because I am greed even before. I don't think so. Resuming gambling operation will not change that way it was before. In fact, the industry is still recovering from their loses due to pandemic and still at the adjustment phase transitioning to "New Normal" protocol that was imposed. Poker? Yes, maybe? DEX still has a long way to go to beat current top centralized exchanges. Yes, DEX did improve a lot in 2019 (remember the shitty etherdelta lol) but DEX still lacks behind in few things which can only be provided by CEX.
I remembered during 2017 wherein etherdelta was really a popular dex until the scam incident happened. That time, I wasn`t able to fund my wallet because I have really know idea in cryptocurrency. However, because of that incident I was shocked because crypto still has its weakness. We can`t say but I am really more confident to trade in CEX even there is a highest withdrawal fee and trading fee. I always follow the liquidity and security of my assets. |

It is a nice comparison. It just shows that Indonesia is few kilometers below of Philippines only. Many Filipinos love cockfighting specially those who are old. Coin in cryptocurrency is not free at all since we have to make a task/s just to get the airdrops or free coins. And each coin that we received is useless because only few cryptocurrencies are paying worthy in giving free coins. Most of them are just a waste of time. 76ers here seems so undervalued, @22.16 to win an NBA championship, I think they have a good line up this season to make it possible. I'm betting on them, I know they have a better chances in the East, they can beat the Bucks, then they'll face whoever wins in the West, either Lebron or Kawhi, 76ers can compete well.  This tall line up can be TRUSTED, believe me. Eventhough before, 76ers have already big mans in line but still they are defeated by cavs. I know how this team is great and I believe that they can defeat other teams in East. But the problem is that, how they will escape the strongest line up of the west? Just like Los Angeles Lakers. It is another tough season for NBA. Hope that everything will start as smooth as before.
